Ordered today from uber eats. Courier was very friendly. They can't help it. But I've been waiting since 7:20 p.m. and the food didn't arrive until 8:55 p.m. I will never order there again Pizza was also cold.

A real WARNING about ordering from this "takeaway" via Lieferando! We ordered two pizzas at 7:42 PM, with a stated delivery time of approximately 60 minutes. Around 8:30 PM, the Lieferando tracking system indicated that delivery was imminent. At 8:45 PM, we called, and they said it would take another 40 minutes. Upon further inquiry at 9:30 PM, it turned out that we had reached a Munich call center for "ABC Pizza" using the Cologne phone number provided. The employee there couldn't tell us where we had ordered from. They claimed the driver was supposed to arrive at 9:33 PM – the call had already dragged on until 9:45 PM – without any delivery. After a lengthy and increasingly absurd phone call, the employee tried to connect us to the restaurant. When we asked the person who finally answered the line which address we were at, they simply said "just a moment" and put us on hold indefinitely – clearly, we hadn't reached Eigelstein. After more than five minutes of this agonizing wait, we went to the restaurant ourselves around 9:50 pm. It was completely dark inside, so there was no way a pizza could be coming from there (see photo below from 9:56 pm) – and there was no sign indicating "Best of Pizza" at the place. We ended up eating elsewhere. According to our neighbor, the driver then rang our doorbell frantically around 10:20 pm (almost 2.5 hours after we ordered), somehow gained entry to the house, and left two cold pizzas (according to our neighbor, whom we know well) in a soggy cardboard box in front of the door, which we found when we returned. ... We are convinced that the Lieferando reviews are FAKE, as nothing about them adds up.

I'd rather not give it any stars at all. I ordered a pizza last night, and the delivery time was supposedly 50 minutes, but the pizza arrived after 2.5 to 3 hours. When we called to ask how long it would take, we were told it would take about 2-3 minutes, and then the driver would arrive. After 20 minutes, no one was there, and when we called again, they said it would take 1-2 minutes, and after 30 minutes, the food finally arrived. The pizza box was already completely soggy, and the pizza was simply awful. I'd love a refund.

The service was good, the drinks were good and reasonably priced, and the table decorations were beautifully arranged. Unfortunately, that was about all the good stuff. When we made our reservation, we ordered the 3-course menu, one with beef and one with vegan options, and we were confirmed over the phone that this was possible and had been noted. However, when we arrived, there were two menus with the same menu in front of us, each one featuring chicken as the main course. We explained that this had been arranged differently over the phone, and we were assured that we would now get one vegan menu and one with beef as the main course. Unfortunately, the vegan alternatives consisted of leftovers. The starter for both of us was a tomato cream soup that tasted like instant soup and also stuck strangely to the spoon. For the vegan main course, I was first served pasta with a filling that tasted of cheese. I had to ask again if the dish was really vegan, and it turned out that the filling contained mozzarella. The pasta was returned, and as an alternative, I was given quinoa and Mediterranean vegetables without any sauce. The latter was also present in my companion's main course. So I assume they simply cooked or warmed the quinoa and then served it with some of the vegetables left over from the other dish. The vegan dessert was a "fruit salad" consisting of grapes and apples, again without any dressing. Some apple pieces still had remnants of another dish clinging to them, which tasted strongly of garlic. There was also an apple with green skin, and an apple just like that was lying at the reception desk when we left. When we entered the hotel restaurant, two apples were still lying there.... Furthermore, some of the cutlery was crooked or unpolished. The three-course meal also took place at a table in the hotel bar, which had a pub-like feel, even though there was also a restaurant room. For the main course of beef, no one asked how the meat was cooked before serving. It was served well done, and we had to ask for a sharp knife. And all this in a 4-star hotel!
