Personal muy amable. Local agradable. Comida, pasable. Con 19 grifos de cerveza, ha sido difícil encontrar la que nos gustara. Tampoco me ha molado que las cobren a subasta (incluido el agua). Quién certifica la subida o bajada del precio? En general, caro. La ensalada César con pollo se va a los 23€. Puntuación: 6.5 sobre 10.

The service was extremely rude and with only two tables occupied, the food was only brought when asked. Instead of getting it from the kitchen, where the food was already there, the waiters preferred to chat. The food was cold and really nothing special for the price. No recommendation!!

Ambience great, service was non-existent. We would have liked to rate the food, but unfortunately we didn't get anything. After being completely ignored by the staff for 45 minutes, we left again. It's a shame, but fortunately there are enough restaurants in the area that are happy to welcome guests and are happy to serve them.

Nice, but loud. Service was very friendly but restaurant management was impossible and unfriendly. Had dinner and several drinks. After paying, we were immediately asked to clear the table on the instructions of the restaurant manager, even though we hadn't finished drinking yet. The table has been reassigned. The guests would also have had space at the bar to bridge the gap.

We had a lovely evening. The restaurant was very busy and the staff was professional and cool. Ambience absolutely worth seeing, just a classic, original Berlin restaurant. Reservation of space is recommended. Have fun .

Very cool location. The decoration made from pictures from “Berlin times” is really great, there is a lot to see and remember here. Sporting events can also be watched live here. The staff is super nice and we will definitely come back. Parking is a matter of luck, but the Friedrichstrasse U-Bahn/S-Bahn is RIGHT IN FRONT of the door. Top connections with public transport.

It was very crowded and loud here. But very nice service and the food was good too. Funny idea with the beer exchange, where the prices are always updated. With the get2card you could even save 50% on food. It was worth it!

We were 4 people. It was a pleasant evening with good food and good wheat spritzers (beers).

We went for dinner, the place is so vibrant even though we went at 10pm and the rest of Berlin was sleeping already. the food was excellent. the service impeccable and they had a stock market for beer pricing which was very interesting to see.

After a long day of travelling we were looking for somewhere to relax, drink beer and get a snack and the Berliner did not disappoint. The beer was great with various sizes even 1.5L so really what more could you want? We also decided to have a little snack and both had a pretzel. The waiter said he made it extra pretty for us and I agree it’s looks very nice. After much beer was drank and the pretzels were all gone we headed off very satisfied with this restaurant.

Restaurant downtown, close to my hotel. Very wide range of beers. The food looked nice, but the boiled pork knuckle was cold and the side potatoes were overcooked. Unfortunately, as the evening progressed, the wait staff resigned themselves to their job and there were more and more empty glasses on our table instead of full ones...

The restaurant "Berliner Republik" is located at Schiffbauerdamm 8, 10117 Berlin. This is a lively restaurant with Berlin specialties and a beer exchange. The atmosphere there is very pleasant and the ambience is also very nice. There I drank various fine beers and ate veal liver. Both were very delicious. Having arrived here in search of a strudel, we found a wonderful place, with a peculiarity: there are several screens that project live "the stock market" of beer (and not only) depending on the orders. Very kind, they allowed us the strudels after hours. Festive atmosphere and beautiful venue.

Very, very unfortunate. It used to be a really good shop, but if you can afford to close at midnight on New Year's Eve, you don't need to make good sales. The service is bad, waiting times are far too long, sometimes you had to reorder 3-5 times because the waiters had forgotten you. The food was served cold and the waiters were so drunk on New Year's Eve that they were no longer receptive.

Mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos en un pub y bar dando vueltas por el maravilloso barrio Friedrichshain de Berlín cuando decidimos pasar por Berliner Republik, hemos estado aquí muchas veces a lo largo de los años, siempre lo pasamos bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita a aquí. El interior es magnífico, luminoso y espacioso, gran decoración y mobiliario, un bar de servicio de estilo isla domina la habitación principal, gran arte de la pared y un montón de opciones de asientos. Estábamos aquí en una noche de diciembre amargamente fría, el bar estaba ocupado con un gran ambiente, nos sentamos en el bar de servicio donde pedimos cerveza Warsteiner (Cervecería Cramers ) una cervecería familiar desde 1759 , estos se sirven en excelentes condiciones siendo helado frío y espumoso y simplemente nos relajamos y disfrutamos del gran bar en el que estábamos mientras bebíamos nuestras cervezas. Mi cerveza era realmente buena, una cerveza crujiente, bien equilibrada estilo lager rebosante de sabor y muy fácil de beber, especialmente cuando se sirve frío helado como en este bar, era tan bueno estar en un bar tan encantador disfrutando de una cerveza de calidad y se sentó con mi hermano gemelo, mejor compañero de cerveza del mundo. Nos alojamos aquí por tres cervezas cada uno antes de pasar a alrededor de 2 . 30 am, me lo pasé genial, no puedo esperar a ir de nuevo la próxima vez que estemos en Berlín. Berliner Republik es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Schiffbauerdamm, una calle y zona repleta de pubs, bares, cafeterías y restaurantes y una arquitectura increíble. El horario de apertura es; De lunes a domingo, de 10 a 5 am. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en el barrio Friedrichshain de Berlín.

We went purely for the stock market beer pricing, but sadly this doesn't start till 5pm and we went at lunch time. No matter, had food and beer and both were great. Swift service despite being fairly busy, food was very good. Very good location and will return.

Cool location on the Spree with a large selection of fresh beers. The beer prices are determined in the evening by the beer exchange. This leads to an entertaining evening that encourages speculation. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Even without a reservation, we found space for two people and a small child. We'd love to come back.

Nice pub with a good atmosphere. The food is absolutely in the bottom category. A pale schnitzel carelessly slapped onto even paler but greasy fried potatoes. There is another way. Food is no longer an option for me.

Lovely bar with great food and quick service, reasonably priced too! Tried to get in on the evening over the weekend but it was full so book in advance for peak times! They have beers priced according to demand (stock market type screens!) so good fun on the evening of you want a few drinks and food. Great spot

The annual Christmas party with colleagues took place here this year. The ambience was pleasing, although that is always a matter of taste. The floor space of the dining room was used to the fullest extent possible, although I have also visited more audacious places. A huge screen with disastrous image resolution and various flat screens decorate the walls. You can come here to watch football and drink beer. The service seemed a little stressed, but I can understand that given the noise level. The kitchen probably had its hands full, which would at least explain the waiting time and the quality of the food. The menu sounded pompous, but unfortunately it was substandard. When I thought of the vegetable broth, I couldn't help but think of the food at the holiday camp in the early 1990s. I had to chew on parts of the goose leg for several minutes and the dumplings reminded me of my own first attempts in the kitchen and tasted neither like him nor her. The dessert was okay so far but not a challenge in terms of difficulty. Nevertheless, everyone was full and since the apricot schnapps was praised by everyone and one in particular, one can certainly speak of a successful event. The bottom line is that there is a bad aftertaste, as the group clearly expected more, especially given the exposed location. In any case, the oft-quoted term “tourist trap” cannot simply be dismissed out of hand. But ⚽️ watching and 🍺 drinking is fine, unless you sit directly under the screen. 😉

Very nice place and a note of thanks to the really kind and friendly bartender. The only sore point was that we purchased the "Berlin Welcome Card" to take advantage of the discount and not thinking of having to declare it at the entrance but at the time of payment, we had an unpleasant surprise. The bartender explained to us very well that we should have said it before and that the chosen dish was not included in the discount as it was not divisible, the classic "x2 people", accepted it, paid and left with respect. It's a shame that there were no mentions on the menu, at least easily visible ones, and I would have seen the impossibility of splitting the bills as easily solvable by applying everything to a single Welcome Card, the result would have been the same... The controversy is certainly broader , Berlin convinces you to take a card with which you actually do very little...

So I have to say the atmosphere is very nice and I think it's great that there's beer after the course. I've been there a few times now and the only thing I have to point out is that the store gave incorrect opening times. The store doesn't open at 3:00 a.m. on Saturdays, it throws the last ones at 12:30 a.m. so you can't get in after 12:00 a.m.!

Pub/restaurant, typical Berliner, very crowded, but to be honest also spacious. The service is not flawless but still adequate for the type of place. Good food and quality products. Everything lived up to expectations, average prices, also considering the location. It is definitely worth a visit.

Schöne Lage direkt im Zentrum und an der Spree. Es gibt eine nette Auswahl an Bieren vom Fass sowie typisch deutsche Küche zu deutlich gehobenen Preisen. Leider kann derzeit der Service mit den Preisen nicht ansatzweise mithalten. Es kann 30min dauern, um eine Bestellung aufzugeben. Später am Abend wird es aber deutlich entspannter.

Super cool shop! The principle was new for me and my friends and we wanted to try it out. It was worth it! The store is spacious and quite loud, but still has a very pleasant atmosphere and always a great atmosphere. Despite many orders, the waiters are always there when you need them.

A friend who lives in Berlin recommended this place for authentic Berliner cuisine. It was not crowed on a Sunday evening. The server took my order and drink and food quickly came. I had a Berliner pork knuckle which the restaurant claimed was the best in the city. While the meat was tender and delicious, my salad was swimming in dressing. The portion was huge for what they charged.

A fantastic, traditional German meal with a great atmosphere and interesting and comical decor in places. Incredibly interesting and great food, service and atmosphere!

We were warmly welcomed as tourists. There was an elderly waiter uncle, he seemed a little angry, but we still got along :) We had the lamb main course, perfecto!

The owner of the place is a neanderthal, treating his employees like utter crap. He poured 3 pints of different beers into 3 glasses and put them aside for the foam to calm down. Underneath each tap, there were glasses catching the waste. Once the foam calmed down, he poured the waste into the other pint glasses before serving. He was visible bored and very condecending towards staff and customers. Would suggest using less time greasing his hair,and more time studying customer service...

The Berlin Republic is worth seeing and reflects a beautiful ambience! There was a lot going on because 1 FC Köln was playing and there were a lot of guests there. We were warned that drinks were fine but food would take a particularly long time. The menu came quickly, but the drink intake alone took 30 minutes. Hot drinks were not accepted at all due to the rush. After ordering, it took another 25 minutes for the drinks to arrive. In the course of this, no new drinks were added if one had wanted them. The invoice had to be requested 3 times and took another 15 minutes. For a process that only took 2 minutes. Maybe a bad day, which was a shame. In Berlin I experienced more attentive restaurants and bars that were able to do justice to their guests despite the crowds. Since it didn't leave a good impression, no recommendation without a doubt...

Very cozy place. Had a shandy on the outside terrace today. Very tasty and the beer was freshly tapped. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I can highly recommend the Berlin Republic!!! We will definitely come back.

I don't know if it was just our luck, but it was too loud, and the table behind us had over 10 drunk guys yelling and hitting each other for fun 😅 The service was friendly and quick though we just had a round of drinks.

I cannot stress enough how straight up awful this bar is on the concept alone. Whatever capitalist came up with this place should be given their commemorative cement shoes and tossed off their riverfront seating area. The beers change in price "like the stock market" of demand and... well the supply is fixed so it's just a way to extract money from you. Instead of demand/supply economics i guess it's demand/stupid/gullibility economics. I ordered a 0,5L Hef when the price dipped to 4,10 but by the time they put the order in it was 6,10. So basically you get the illusion of maybe a cheap buy, then they put the order in when it's not. I decided to lean into their scheme by asking the server about shorts, futures, call/put options, etc and he looked like a deer in headlights. If they leaned into the concept by at least giving complicated stock mechanisms to people like me, who know it's a scam, then I would have given it a pass because at that point it's like a fun game. But no, it's just steal your money shenanigans. I think my silly young friends found it charming, but every time i broke down the numbers on the "good deal" that was coming up, they were like, "oh yeah, that's terrible." So turn your brain off and empty the wallet then you're good to go! I had a spoon full of the tomato soup from my buddy and it was exceptional (i'm very critical of tomato soup, highly recommend), fair is fair on that point, but nothing about the beer prices are fair or entertaining to an adult who isn't in the habit of burning their money for a capitalist gimmick. Outside that bomb/fire tomato soup, this place is trash, never go again, don't recommend. Nice riverside seating. One more thing, their bathroom artwork is INCREDIBLE, must see! Don't buy anything, just act like you're going to sit down and check out the bathroom!! Sad state of affairs when the highlight of your resturaunt is where people deposit the waste/product from the kitchen, but that's the facts of the matter. One of the silliest places i've ever been minus the soup and bathroom.

Curious brewery where they quote the price of the beers, it's not bad and it's not more expensive than other places, depending on the beer you choose.

I went to this restaurant at 2024.10.26 08:40 pm. We said we will just drink. And then the woman worker said, "we don't have seat until 11:30." But the other two guys who arrived later than me and didnt make a reservation have a seat at the bar. We complained about this situation, but the woman walker pretended not to know about that. I felt so much anger. I dont recommend this restaurant.

Cibo molto buono e anche la posizione, però la welcome Berlin card non la prendono quindi non ti fanno lo sconto del 25% . Questo è un modo per avere più clienti senza applicare lo sconto, quindi guadagnando di più. Per questo il mio voto anche se al cibo avrei dato un 5 diventa un 2.
