A very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere and excellent service. The food was delicious, especially the venison – it was fantastic. The only thing that could be improved, in my opinion, was the schnitzel. Otherwise, a wonderful restaurant where you can truly relax.

We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food with our family on the first Sunday of Advent. We'd love to come back! It's a joy any time of year, any holiday.

I spontaneously decided to eat here with the kids. We hadn't made a reservation but still got a nice table even though the restaurant was quite full. The kids were thrilled with their meals, and although I'm very picky because I'm a chef myself, I have to say – I enjoyed it too.

We celebrated a big birthday party with 90 people at the Berggasthof Burg Rosenegg this weekend. Both the planning beforehand and the party itself were simply wonderful. Ms. Weiermann-Seidl and her entire team are absolute professionals who love their job, and you can see it in everything they do. We and all of our guests felt completely at home, and we were thrilled with the food and hospitality. We highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to host a party in a wonderful atmosphere, at a beautiful location, with the best food. Thanks again to the entire team! We came here at short notice on a rainy Saturday evening and managed to snag the last table by phone. A quaint and delightful atmosphere. It was very busy, and we had to wait a bit for our food, but everything was acceptable. Very friendly service. The food was exceptionally good—seasonally, with fresh chanterelles. The only thing that was a bit disturbing was the noise—it was very busy.

We went there spontaneously last night. The location and the view are beautiful, and there's even a small playground. The indoor area was busy, so we opted for the outdoor area. The waitresses were super-responsive, noticed us immediately, and served us. The drinks arrived quickly, as did the salad, and then the main course. The onion roast was cooked exactly how I wanted it, the venison goulash was super tender, and all in all, a great end to the day. We'd love to come back! ❤️ Keep it up 😊👌🏻

A truly beautiful mountain inn with very friendly service and delicious food. We had the Gärtnerin sausage salad and the roast pork in beer sauce, both of which were very good. The seating is very pleasant both inside and outside.

This is one of the best German restaurant and beer garden in the region, it has fantastic food freshly made, several drink and beer options, time to time they have the live music, there is really good view of singen from the garden. They have plenty of outdoor place for kids to play. Perfect spot for a day outing.

Worst fries ever. As a side dish to the schnitzel, lukewarm, gelatinized with some red chip salt. Schnitzel wasn't tasty either! Worst schnitzel with fries, a few carrots and decoration! You can earn €18.90 so quickly. As a bonus, a solo entertainer who showed off all his singing skills on May 1st!!! Not again!

Went back today for a family dinner with 24 people on Easter Sunday. The restaurant was full to the last seat. The food was consistently fantastic and there was nothing to complain about. The service was very attentive and friendly. Many thanks to the whole team including the kitchen!!!

A very good German cuisine! The chef is a butcher and knows the meat very well. There is WiFi and you can get the password upon request. The waitresses are very attentive and fulfill every wish. A really very good restaurant! We celebrated our birthday there and had a reception with mulled wine and punch. There is another hut next to the restaurant that also serves as a guest room if several parties want to celebrate. It was really nice and I will come again!

We were there today with the family for a birthday dinner. The rooms inside are very comfortably furnished. Everyone enjoyed the food. I had the sausage salad with the spicy dressing. I have never seen such a preparation anywhere. Since I like spicier food, this sausage salad was exactly what I wanted! The friendly service was also very attentive. We had three children with us who were busy painting the children's menu. Without being asked, she spontaneously placed a cup of colored pencils on the table, which the children happily accepted.

Wow! If you're in the area and don't go here, it's your own fault! Guys, what a great restaurant. The environment, the ambience, the food... simply great! We ordered across the board. From beer roasts, to snack platters, to Maultaschen, etc. Everything is simply delicious! The operation and service were 1a. Nothing to complain about. I'll attach a few pictures, they should speak for themselves. Fun fact: definitely go to the toilet!!! ;)

We ate there with a larger group. The food tasted very good. The waitresses were friendly, but I have to deduct a point for the service because everything took a long time and e.g. T. Drinks/dishes were swapped. In addition, unfortunately the food (both starters and main courses) did not come to everyone at the table at the same time, which is a shame when you eat together. We sat outside on the terrace, which was lovely. Free parking is available.

After a golden wedding last year, an 80th birthday was celebrated today in the mountain inn. And once again we were more than satisfied! The staff, despite the stress and the coach arriving for lunch, were extremely friendly. The food tasted great and was more than plentiful. We will be back definitely

When the weather is nice outside, there is a great view over Singen and the Hohentwiel. Spacious grounds with a playground for the children. We were there for an anniversary celebration. For dinner there were fries, spaetzle with mushroom sauce, roast and vegetables. All very tasty.

The food here is good, the atmosphere great and the views are spectacular. What I did not like, was the half empty beer - served in clay mugs which resulted in half foam and half beer. And no, I did not drink off the mug first, I waited for my friend to get his drink while watching mine disappear. 🤣🥺 Come on people, don’t be so stingy and think nobody notices, it just doesn’t leave a good impression.

Disappointing... Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio in this restaurant is no longer right. The prices are very salty, as is the salad. 33 euros for an onion roast, 17 euros for a vegan tarte flambée! The schnitzel and fries were bone dry, as were the Maultaschen, which came with at least a teaspoon of sauce. My dog ​​was happy 😊 The location and the ambience are very nice, the service was good, but it was very loud in the restaurant and conversation at the table was not possible.

Nice beer garden with a beautiful view and a cozy restaurant. Mixed salad ordered fresh and crunchy, the salad dressing pooled at the bottom of the plate, it was sour, too much vinegar! I ordered a few pieces of beef medallion and I couldn't bite through it. The side dish was green beans with bacon, thought the beans were wrapped in the bacon. No, it wasn't like that, there were very small cubes of Black Forest ham that were placed over the beans and it was salty. For the price of 33.90 euros there are better addresses

Very tasty, down-to-earth food right on the D/CH border. When the weather is nice you can eat outside comfortably 😋 a bit noisy when there are large hiking groups.

The food is far from quality and the presentation just as bad. There is a lack of color and taste and, above all, fresh things. The salad was the only one that tasted good. However, they are not able to cook fresh vegetables or use herbs or spices. No understanding of how you can run a restaurant this way. It must be fun to inspire people, but even the coffee gets slammed on you and spilled. The service immediately ran away with its head down.

The restaurant is very well located and easy to reach by car or bike. Or on foot on one of the hiking trails. Very friendly staff, the service is great. The menu is very good and everyone will find something, from an aperitif to a delicious dessert. The portions are just right and the price is unbeatable. There are always outdoor places with a view of Singen in summer. We'll definitely be back 👍👍
