Ein großes Lob für das hervorragende Essen! Die Bedienung war ausgezeichnet und sehr freundlich, obwohl es sehr voll war. Sie war sehr nett und kompetent. Absolute Empfehlung! 🩷

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Doppelzimmer,waren sehr angetan. Top Lage mit der Bushaltestelle vor der Tür,10 Minuten zum See und Restaurant im Erdgeschoss. Check in war easy mit zwei Mails die alle wichtigen Infos enthielten. Restaurant war super lecker und echt nett.

Super leckere Burger, nettes Personal - absolute Empfehlung.

Das Hostel als Paradies. Die Zimmer duften frisch, sind ungewöhnlich gut beleuchtet. Ansprechend weiße Bettwäsche (im günstigen Preis incl!), tolle, sehr saubere Bäder. Die Abendkarte im angedockten Restaurant - mit coolen Holzeinbauten in erfreulich gedeckten Farben - ist fabelhaft, egal ob fleischlos oder -lastig; Kathis Playlist so lässig wie unaufdringlich, die handverlesenen Weine 1A, das fantastisch kuratierte Franz Marc Museum gerade mal 10 min walk away. Lieblingsort am Kochelsee.

Wir haben zwei Burger, zwei Aperol und als Dessert Kaiserschmarrn bestellt. Die Burger waren wirklich außergewöhnlich gut – kreativ gemacht, nicht 08/15, und perfekt zubereitet. Alles wirkte frisch, die Pommes waren schön knusprig und auch die Aperol waren sehr gut abgestimmt. Das Ambiente ist eher ruhig und gemütlich, mit Kaminfeuer, was dem Ganzen eine besonders angenehme Stimmung verleiht. Insgesamt definitiv eine klare Empfehlung!

Überragend leckeres Essen! Wirklich überragend !!! Der kl. gemischte Salat als Opener - absolut premium in der Auswahl und im Geschmack. Danach Hüft Gold Burger: einer der besten Burger die ich je gegessen habe! Service absolut Spitze, hatte alleine den (vollen) Laden top im Griff! Der Raum mit dem Kamin sehr gemütlich und einfach eingerichtet (könnte mehr raus geholt werden!!!!). Selbst wenn der Raum ohne Einrichtungsgegenstände wäre, würde ich 15 von 5 Sternen vergeben: Danke dafür 👌

Gemütliches Kaminfeuer bei entspannter Atmosphäre und hervorragenden Burgern! Super Restaurant mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Portionen waren groß und die Qualität hat auch gestimmt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Es war mir ein großes Vergnügen, im BergBlick in Kochel zu speisen. Das Essen, die Atmosphäre, die Musik, die regelmäßigen Besuche der Hauskatze sowie der überaus freundliche Service waren ein Genuss. Ein Ort, der definitiv einen Besuch wert ist!

Unsere Erfahrung mit dem Hostel war nicht sehr gut. Die Check-In Erfahrung kann man nur als "interessant" bezeichnen. Zuerst haben wir eine Mail bekommen, in welcher stand man solle sich zwischen 16-18 Uhr an der Rezeption melden. Und das man keine Kreditkarte bräuchte. Als wir dort ankamen, stellten wir fest, dass es gar keine Rezeption gab und ein Online-Check-In nötig war. Einer der Restaurantmitarbeiter meinte dann, dass wir noch eine zweite Mail bekommen haben müssten (wahrsch. Im Spam, was auch der Fall war) in welcher die Anleitung stand. Für den Online-Check-In benötigte man aber sehr wohl eine Kreditkarte (oder man zahlt halt mit Klarna, was auch komisch war). Nachdem wir uns irgendwie durchgewurstelt haben und im Zimmer standen, was übrigens auch nicht so aussah, wie die Bilder auf der Website zeigten (ganz andere Einrichtung und anderer Ausblick), checkten wir dort die Infos bezüglich Check-In: da stand nichts von einem Online-Check-In und auch andere Zeiten zum Einchecken. Was uns auch enttäuscht hat: sowohl auf der Website als auch in der ersten Mail hieß es, man könne Frühstück buchen. Vor Ort hieß es dann, dass es kein Frühstück gibt (laut dort ausgehändigtem Flyer nur wenn sich 10 Leute anmelden??). Außerdem ist beim Spülen immer ein halber Liter Wasser aus der Toilette geschwappt, sodass man regelmäßige nasse Füße hatte. Die Zimmerfenster waren auch so undicht, dass es im Raum ständig klamm und kalt war. Unser Fazit: lieber etwas mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen und wo anders übernachten. Das Restaurant ist gut, aber das Hostel (ja, auch für Hostel-Verhältnisse) nicht wirklich. Liebes BergBlick-Team, bitte aktualisiert doch mal eure Website und das Mailsystem. Oder macht doch zumindest in die erste Mail einen Hinweis, dass noch eine zweite folgt.

Man sitzt da klasse- das Essen lecker- nette Bedienung.

Wir waren dort um etwas zu essen. Das bestellsystem ist allerdings sehr grenzwertig. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und das Prinzip wurde erklärt...man muss erst seinen Tisch besetzten, wegen der Tischnummer, dann im innenbereich, an einem tablett seine Bestellung selber tätigen. (Direkte Bezahlung inklusive Trinkgeld ohne zu wissen wie der Service ist, ist eigentlich sonderlich eigenartig) die Speisen und Getränke welche man am tablett geordert hat, werden zum Tisch gebracht. Leider kam es wohl des öfteren zu zahlendrehern oder der gleichen, so das unser Tisch nebenan 3 mal getränke bekommen sollte, welche allerdings nicht bestellt waren. 3 Gerichte bestellt, gericht 1 und 2 kamen zeitgleich am Tisch an, Gericht 3 kam allerdings erst nachdem 1 und 2 schon fast aufgegessen hatten. Von einer weiteren getränke Bestellung an diesem terminal haben wir abgesehen, da es bei der ersten Bestellung schon probleme gab und es dann 10 Minuten dauerte, bis die Bestellung abgeschlossen war. Trotz allem sehr freundliches Personal und der Ausblick beim Essen ist ein träumchen.

Für den Service und die angebotene Leistung leider zu teuer, niemand vor Ort, umständliches einchecken, die Mails verschwinden im Spamordner, nicht nur bei uns. Mit uns sind noch 4 Backpacker aus dem Ausland angekommen, ohne uns würden die wahrscheinlich heute noch vor der Tür stehen. Zum Glück hatte einer der Gäste die Mail bei sich gefunden und konnte uns den Tipp geben. Meine Meinung, 40 oder 50 Euro mehr in die Hand nehmen, in einem schönen Hotel vor Ort einkehren und morgens das Frühstück geniessen, gab es nämlich im Bergblick auch nicht, das war aber klar. So haben wir 85,-€ ohne alles bezahlt, mussten auch noch Betten beziehen und Blutspuren am Bett beseitigen, ich hoffe die waren von irgendwann erschlagenen Mücken....

We ate at the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for it, but it was worth it. The staff was very friendly.

We had an amazing team event here! The hotel is very hip, modern and clean! Also everyone is very friendly and the food is just amazing! Great location, just a few steps away from the lake, which is perfect to enjoy the sunset or a quick night swim! Walchensee - the most beautiful lake in Germany - is also just a quick drive away. Thank you for the great weekend!

I celebrated my birthday with 18 people at the Berg Blick, and my expectations were truly exceeded. The food was amazing, the service perfect and incredibly accommodating (we even got to eat the homemade birthday cake and were given small plates). A big thank you to the kitchen team. The rooms are a bit dated, but perfectly fine for one night and the occasion. A short walk and you're right on the lake – the location is perfect. Highly recommended – even for large groups.

We were "just" there for dinner, but the atmosphere was absolutely lovely. Very friendly service and dog-friendly. Unfortunately, you're not allowed inside with your dog, but you can sit outside on the terrace. So, in good weather, it's no problem at all. A fantastic view with lovely, pleasant music in the background. We've been here several times and would recommend it to anyone :)

Well-located accommodation, quite spartan, but with everything you need for an overnight stay. We had a twin room with a toilet; a simple shelf would have been very helpful there 😀

Unfortunately, there is a completely different menu online than on site. There is a Wienerschnitzl made from pork for just under €20. In the restaurant there is only a Wienerschnitzel made from veal for just under €25. Which I find annoying. And my pasta dish has cress salad on it and what was it, cress and rocket salad (I personally hate rocket salad). If it had been on the menu I wouldn't have chosen this dish. The waitress wasn't interested. Then If you wanted to pay with €100 I can't give it to you so pay with a card again

Wow!! The burgers are really to die for! It's been a long time since I've had such delicious burgers. The burger is unparalleled in the region. The price is really at the threshold or €15-16 for a classic cheeseburger without fries is really a lot. But the taste brings it out to a certain extent.

Small, fine restaurant. Reservations are recommended. The burgers are incredibly delicious, and the salad and cheese spaetzle also looked very good (as seen with other guests). Unfortunately, we were seated right next to the fireplace, so it was uncomfortably warm.

Sorry, this is the first time I've reviewed this because I'm so disappointed! I thought it would be a cool location for a group meeting. Unfortunately it doesn't work at the moment... Extremely loud in the interior. Service unspeakable… He arrived quickly, but was still completely aloof and uninterested. No food or hot drinks after 8:45 p.m.! It would have finished at 11 p.m.! Yes, what do you do then? Let yourself get carried away? 7.30 € per spritz!!. Watching the kitchen staff cleaning with the door open and the smell of solvent... it was actually like that! The stench was so unbearable and maybe the drain was even worse... Women's toilet so narrow. Light went out after 10 seconds, in no way suitable for disabled people, even without physical limitations. I can't rate the food because I can't get any more, as mentioned! Very, very unfortunate! Apparently they don't need to change anything, people come in the summer anyway, so you don't have to change anything and you're happy if you have peace and quiet!

Rating is for the hostel, not the restaurant! As a cyclist I'm actually not very demanding, but here you have to make some compromises. There is no reception on site, check-in must be done online. It worked for me, but it takes some getting used to. Rooms are ok, a bit limited in space when full (I had the luxury of being alone in a shared room, so it was fine). Generally not much storage space for luggage. In the evening the bass from the restaurant music system sounds quite loudly in the room. Biggest minus: the sanitary facilities. Everything is very makeshift, cables hanging out of the wall etc... Everything is a little careless. The showers are terrible, it's just one room for everyone that you can't lock (!) and there are no shower cubicles, just weird curtains that stick to your body when you shower - that could be better! :( All in all, for 30 euros per night it was only acceptable for me since I at least had the room to myself.

I can't rate the room, we had noni coffee and that's where it starts. My husband went to the window on the kitchen side and asked the cook if we could get coffee from them. The lady was probably in a bad mood. She said that they generally don't make coffee, but they can make it. Hmmm, and on the building it says CAFE & HOSTEL. The waiter served us very nice. We got coffee for 7 people at the same time, only my husband had to wait for someone to bring milk so that the waiter could make the last missing coffee. Unfortunately, it took quite a long time because we all drank coffee and my husband was still waiting, they work at ease without stress. My daughter ordered a cake which was very delicious, beautifully presented and warm. Despite your cook, we recommend it.

At the beginning it wasn't really clear where the entrance to the restaurant was. After some wandering around in obviously private rooms, we finally discovered the dining room, which was about the size of a living room. An estimated 20 people were crowded into a small space. After a long wait, we received a menu and were able to order — two burgers with fries. The taste of these was really excellent. The only thing that could be criticized is the size of the burgers, which makes it almost impossible to eat cleanly without making a huge mess on your plate and table. After our meal we were ignored for a while by the waiter, who apparently preferred to work on his tablet rather than serve the guests. In general, he was also noticed by other guests due to his absence and unfriendly manner. After we finally took the initiative, we were finally able to pay. Despite the poor service, we gave a tip, but the waitress ignored it without saying a word. There was also no farewell - the waiter simply turned around and left. An altogether strange experience.

The burgers are world class. The meat comes from the local butcher next door and you can taste it too. The drinks were also very tasty and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the chairs and benches are extremely uncomfortable and therefore do not invite you to linger for long. Some tables wobbled extremely. When we asked, we got another table. The service girls are quick and very nice.

The booked and confirmed room had been allocated elsewhere. Therefore we were quartered in the basement, apparently much more pleasant for us (with a dog) because it had a separate entrance. Was a basement room with three bunk beds for 2 people each. I only knew it from the Bundeswehr. The plaster fell from the ceiling in the bathroom and the bed linen was damp.

Quite expensive. I've had better burgers and sweet potato fries. . Waiting an hour for the food is not possible with a burger...

Burgers are super tasty. The waitress was very friendly and capable. The view was great. We'll be back...we can't say anything about the rooms. We were only here for dinner.

A rarity! I have lived in Kochel am See almost my entire life. Finding really good restaurants is or was difficult. But I was really pleasantly surprised with the small, fine “mountain view”. Creative, small and delicious dishes of the best quality. They have the best salad in the whole area. Just something different. It would just be nice if they were open more often. I can't say anything about the youth hostel as I only visited the restaurant.

We were there with the family (8 adults) on December 26th. for our traditional Christmas dinner at Bergblick. It was a fantastic evening, with delicious food and very friendly, attentive service. We'll be back 😊

We were back in the hostel after two years and were amazed at how much work was being done on it. We were already convinced by the concept on our first visit, but now there are many innovations: flexible check-in, new food offerings, digital guest directory and new interior design. It was ideal for our group stay and the café is open again with the best San Sebastian cheesecake. We will be back. :) Thank you for everything!

The burger was exceptional! All the vegetables were cut into thin slices, I really liked this attention. (I took El Classico) Apple juice also good. Impeccable service, the waiter is professional and knows how to speak English. The restaurant is not very large which explains the reservation.

The restaurant is well located. It is comfortably furnished. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms as I was only there to eat. As a meal we had the hip gold burger and optionally sweet potato fries with mayo, ketchup and homemade aioli dip. Everything was very freshly prepared and really tasty. The service was also great.

Wir hatten leider keine Handys dabei um Bilder zu machen und haben uns im Nachgang sehr geärgert, weil die Burger alleine schon für das Restaurant sprechen - getoppt wurden sie von einer kuschelig schönen Gaststube mit super Service und Live Musik.

Schneller und freundlicher Service.

Nachdem wir den ganzen Tag wandern waren, es mittlerweile kalt und dunkel geworden ist, sind wir durch Zufall in dem kleinen Restaurant Bergblick gelandet. Der heimelige kleine Gastraum, der eine gelungene Mischung aus alt und neu ist, die freundliche Bedienung und ein Zither-Spieler haben uns einen wunderschönen Abend beschert! Wohnzimmeratmosphäre, fast schon intim, zum wohlfühlen. Zu Essen haben wir Spinatknödel bestellt, die den außergewöhnlichen Abend perfekt abgerundet haben.

Sehr feines vegetarisches Risotto und super Service (Leider habe ich den Namen des jungen Mannes vergessen) genossen! ;-) Aber wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder ! Zum Essen, trinken, ratschen, genießen!!!!

Spontan für eine Nacht gebucht. Zimmer sauber, Check-in easy, alles da was man braucht. Eine Offenbarung das Restaurant. Kreative Küche, tolle überraschende Karte. Vermutlich das beste und größte Risotto, das ich je gegessen habe. Mit frittiertem Grünkohl 🤩. Extrem aufmerksamer und hilfsbereiter Kellner. Ein weiteres Highlight ein Zitter Spieler, der dezente Hintergrundmusik spielte, überraschende Songauswahl. Schade, dass ich nicht rechtzeitig gebucht habe, um Frühstück zu bekommen ☺️. Ich komme defintiv gerne wieder 👍

Noch ein Geheimtipp in Kochel... Ein Lokal mit schöner Terrasse und angenehmem Ambiente innen. Der gut geführte Familienbetrieb bietet Regionales und Saisonales kreativ zubereitet und sehr lecker. Hier gibt es den besten Cappucino vom Ort ( wir haben wirklich alle getestet) Man kann sich hier erholen und gemütlich sitzen, der Seniorchef begleitet mit Zittermusik von Klassik bis Rock...man fühlt sich rund um wohl

Das Essen ist hier hervorragend und der Ausblick zu den Bergen traumhaft. Der Service war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Es hat an diesen Tag auch jemand live Musik gespielt. Es ist auf alle Fälle einen Besuch wert. Ich werde wieder kommen.

Die Lage ist perfeckt schöner Blick auf die Berge die Bedienung ist freundlich und kompetent außerdem ist das essen auserordendlich schmackhaft und auch Personen mit gutem Hunger kommen hier auf ihre kosten.
