Very good food with very courteous service. It's worth it!

This small family Restaurant is one of the Best Vietnamese Restaurants I've had. Certainly close to what I experienced in Hanoi. The Summer Rolls were out of this world - a must. The different Pho we tried where also incredible. One one side one could argue the service is slow, but having in mind that it's a small buisiness and the quality is great it is worth the wait. Certainly I will come back to try the dessert and other dishes.

I have been to the tastefully decorated little restaurant several times and have always enjoyed the food there. The menu is sufficient, but not overloaded and free of fried frozen food. As far as I can tell, the food is authentic and the service is very friendly. The sanitary facilities are clean. Many guests come back again and again - like me too.

I honestly can't understand why the store has such good reviews. I suspect that the majority of customers here are regulars from the area. However, the food itself was really just mediocre and could have been offered from a snack shop for 70% of the price. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We had better Vietnamese food for less money. I had a Pho and the broth was very bland. However, the shop is comfortably furnished.

Tried the pho there, but the waiting time and price was not worth it.

I visited the Bếp Xưa restaurant in Karlsruhe today and was thrilled. I ordered the chicken curry which was also very tasty. The meat was tender and the curry was spicy and aromatic. But my personal highlight were the summer rolls with shrimp. They were tastier than ever before. The shrimp were juicy and the filling was perfectly balanced. The rice paper was not too soft and not too hard and the rolls were perfectly rolled. The service was very friendly and attentive. She served us quickly and competently and was very nice. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bếp Xưa!

Now our favorite restaurant in Karlsuhe! Quiet, pleasant atmosphere, very friendly and courteous service, and the Pho and the other dishes are absolutely delicious. Freshly prepared, fresh ingredients, and delicious.

The Vietnamese restaurant is within walking distance of the ZKM and Co. and is therefore very easy to reach. The selection of dishes is clear, which I find very positive. These are prepared with fresh ingredients, which can clearly be tasted. The nuances of the furnishings are kept very dark. The light is slightly dimmed, creating a warm atmosphere. Cash only. Reservations are only possible by telephone.

Geschmacklich einer der besten Asiaten die ich bisher probiert habe. Jedes einzelne Gericht hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Definitiv werde ich wieder kommen. Ein Stern Abzug, weil es meiner Meinung nach etwas überteuert ist.

Es schmeckt ganz gut. Mir persönlich könnte es etwas mehr Aromen vertragen, ist alles etwas fad. Also es ist kein Essen was mir lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.. Außerdem ist es schon etwas teuer für das was man bekommt. Auch verglichen zu anderen asiatischen Restaurants.

Nice and chill restaurant where you can grab some a nice Vietnamese food and enjoy a calm conversation. Spacious, clean, and quiet. Great service, polite, friendly and professional. Food was tasty. A bit on the pricy side for Vietnamese food, but at least the portions were somewhat generous. Still, with drink, appetizer and main dish expect to about over 30€ per person. Cash only. They did not have Vietnamese beer. Reservations accepted.

Sehr leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedingungen. Leider waren die Portionen für unseren Geschmack etwas zu klein für das Geld.

Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt (es ist jedoch nicht günstig). Was ich besonders schätze: Die Möglichkeit ein Teller mit frischen Kräutern bestellen zu können. Parkplätze ggf. schwierig. Aber dafür kann ja das Restaurant nichts.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, nicht zu lange Wartezeiten, Essen schmackhaft (das auf einem gesonderten Teller gereichte Thai-Basilikum war schon etwas schlapp), aber es war ziemlich kalt im Gastraum. Eine hinzugestellte mobile kleine Heizung machte keinen großen Effekt.

Absolutely fantastic food, but on the pricey side.

Essen war sehr gut. Bedienung total freundlich, sowohl am Telefon als auch vor Ort. Den Punkt Abzug gibt es dafür, dass es richtig kalt dort war.

Sehr leckere Gerichte und guter Service! Schmeckt nicht wie der typische Asia-Einheitsbrei den man sonst serviert bekommt.

Haben im Sommer draussen gegessen, angelockt von der top Bewertung. Restaurant war am frühen Abend ziemlich leer, die Bedienung war freundlich, das Essen war nett angerichtet aber nichts besonderes und dafür ziemlich teuer.

Wir sind aufgrund der 4,7 Google-Sterne letzte Woche hergekommen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Bedienung, aus Hanoi stammend, war ausgesprochen bemüht, höflich und freundlich. Man sitzt gemütlich und das Essen war ausgezeichnet: Es war eindeutig selbstgemacht (keine Convenience) und schmeckte im positiven besonders, also fernab von dem Standard-Geschmack vieler fernöstlicher Restaurants. Klare Empfehlung und Danke!

Es gibt eine kleine Auswahl an Gerichten, man wird gefragt ob man irgend was nicht essen will oder Allergien hat. Qualität der Produkte und essen war spitze. Man sollte auf jeden Fall reservieren da immer noch eine kleinere Anzahl an Leuten im Restaurant Platz finden.

Sieht von außen unscheinbar aus, bietet aber ein sehr feine und gut zubereitete original vietnamesische Küche. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Hier hat wirklich alles gestimmt. Der Gastraum ist einladend und gemütlich, der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und das Essen ist ausgezeichnet! Die Preise sind gehoben aber eben angemessen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Phõ welche mit frischen Kräutern, Limette und Sprossen serviert wird. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
