Our meal was a Wiener Schnitzel with salad and fried potatoes with bacon, along with a salad plate. We were very satisfied and have already reserved a table for Sunday.

I thought it was very good there. I only had fries, but they were also good. It felt a bit like being in a beer garden in Bavaria. The service was great, everyone was very friendly.

Whit Monday, beautiful weather, and we wanted to have a beer in the actually lovely beer garden. We were told quite bluntly, "Not outside!" This is the second time we've experienced something like this here. We won't try it again, good luck.

From the outside it looks neat, very nice building. Inside it looks cozy. We were served by an older man, but he was not friendly. The food was okay, but not great. The food was very salty and did not taste fresh. We thought it was a shame about the evening, since it has so many reviews.

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. The selection is excellent and we enjoyed the food. The only thing was that the wait for our food was quite long at 45 minutes...but it was also almost full. The staff was consistently friendly, though a bit confused at times. We received the wrong item twice (it was resolved). We were served by different waiters that day (is this always the case?)...perhaps it's easier if the waiters only serve specific tables and customers can speak to one person. We'll definitely be back.

I've been there twice now. The ambiance is very nice and clean. Typical brewery. The food has always been good so far. The portions are always good and the prices are reasonable. The dumplings on the knuckle of pork could have been a bit saltier. But otherwise, the dish was very flavorful. The pork schnitzel was also very tasty and, with the side salad, a good portion. The service was good and attentive on both days.

The food was very good and the price/performance ratio was also good. Very attentive but authentic staff. Completely revised menu with a Bavarian flair. We were there during asparagus season and the asparagus was also excellent.

A super cozy inn with a real Bavarian flair – right in the heart of Attendorn! The food is high-quality, lovingly prepared, and simply delicious. I especially recommend the woodcutter schnitzel and the freshly tapped Benedictine beer. The vegetarian options were also impressive. The service was attentive, friendly, and prompt, sometimes with a cheeky remark – you feel truly welcome. The atmosphere is rustic, but not old-fashioned – just the right mix of tradition and a modern, feel-good atmosphere. I'll definitely be back – a real asset to the city!

New tenants, very nice and friendly staff. The food tastes very good, the selection suits the location, and there's something for everyone. I'm happy to be able to recommend something to our holiday guests in Attendorn again. The only thing that wasn't so good was that paying with a mobile phone or watch doesn't work yet. But I think that's already being worked on.

We went there to have a few beers. We had the impression that the staff was only concerned with themselves. We had a table opposite the bar. There were seven waitresses at the bar, and they made us wait at least 15 minutes to order a round of beers...

The place has to survive, because I have no words for the food - except that the cola from the bottle was an absolute hit, perfectly chilled, a true masterpiece of refrigeration technology! Amen, and please hurry!

Review: Disappointing food – it used to be much better I was really disappointed with my last visit. The food was an absolute disaster: the fries had no salt at all and were soggy instead of crispy. The pork knuckle had no taste whatsoever - a real highlight was completely missing. The cream sauce was also watery and thin, without any depth or creaminess. The vegetable? Unfortunately soggy and overcooked. You can clearly see that the previous operator is missing. The quality of the food used to be worlds better - unfortunately we can no longer recommend the restaurant today. Definitely not another visit for me.

Very friendly and courteous staff. It's nice to sit outside when the weather is good. When it rained it wasn't a problem to move inside. A very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The meal took a while, but there were also large groups who ordered before us.

We were positively impressed, so we went there twice... first drank, then went back for dinner after a walk. Very polite staff...the food was delicious. I find the ambience inside very cozy.

An absolutely beautiful place to stay! We sat on the terrace of the Benedictine inn in the sunshine - simply wonderful. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was extremely friendly and on hand with great recommendations. We were particularly excited about the bowls – we tried all three and each one was really tasty! The Citrus Garden Spritz is also an absolute insider tip - refreshing and perfect for the summer. The small dessert on the house made our visit perfect. Clear recommendation, we will definitely come back!

Extremely delicious food, huge portions and great value for money. We particularly liked the service. Very warm welcome, especially our dog. There was water straight away, a few cuddles and even a bone. Everyone was very warm and accommodating.

After the change of tenant, our first visit to the Benedictine inn. The current rumor situation in Attendorn already suggested that a visit here could be worthwhile. And indeed: the “new” Benedictine inn is an absolute hit. The new menu is very varied and should offer something suitable for everyone. Our food tasted excellent and was really filling. The team with a very attentive and friendly service (and an extremely cool boss) gave us a great evening. We will be coming back here regularly from now on. We keep our fingers crossed for the team for a successful future in our beautiful city.

Super great restaurant and absolutely recommended. The staff is super professional, quick and warm. We went for brunch today - there was a very large selection of hot and cold dishes. Everything tasted excellent. We'd love to come back!!

There is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of service. My beers were served in a timely manner, so I generously give it 3*. But I didn't dare order food after I saw the organization and also saw guests asking whether the outdoor restaurant was open yes/no or guests waiting at the neighboring tables to order. One can only hope that this is just the initial glitch in the works. Despite all the negative criticism from others about the predecessors, in my opinion things went better and I could/have given 5* for food and service.

We had a very nice evening, with great service, delicious food, in a rustic but super cozy atmosphere. Vegetarians also have an attractive, well-selected menu to choose from and even the smallest ones have been thought of in the form of a play area. We'll definitely be back.

Delicious food and hearty cuisine... a real insider tip! My visit to the Benedictine inn was a complete success! The atmosphere was cozy and typically Bavarian, just the right thing to relax a bit and enjoy good food with good friends while having a relaxed conversation. I was particularly enthusiastic about the dishes: the Bavarian-style cheese soup was spicy and creamy... a perfect start. The cheese spaetzle were just right... nice and cheesy, with fried onions and easy to eat. And to top it off there was fluffy, freshly prepared Kaiserschmarrn... golden brown on the outside, soft on the inside and made with love. You can tell straight away: the cook knows her craft and puts in a lot of effort. Everything was homemade, fresh and cooked with a lot of love. A big compliment for that! I would love to come back and can recommend the inn to anyone who wants authentic Bavarian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.

After a successful day of shopping, my girls and I went to the Benedictine Wirt and ended the evening in an enchanting atmosphere. The ambience makes a high-quality but cozy impression, which makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. The food was presented both in terms of taste and in a very appealing way. The service was above average friendly and always followed up on our requests. Even though we were a large group and the place was full, we didn't have to wait long for an order. The payment process was also quick and uncomplicated. The toilets are very modern, well maintained and above all clean. The new team at the Benedictine Wirtshaus in Attendorn has brought a breath of fresh air into the restaurant. In addition to the already great ambience, there is now excellent cuisine and particularly friendly staff. We were served extremely courteously and the dishes surprised us positively. The schnitzel was one of the best we have ever eaten. The pork knuckle was also excellent, but you should be very hungry for it .😉 We wish the team much success and a successful first season with many satisfied guests!

Beautiful inn with catastrophic service. I can't judge the food, I suspect it's very tasty. Regarding the two stars: we came with a large group and were given a special card due to the large number of people. This card was a joke. When I go out to eat in a brewery, I want to be able to choose something good from the menu. Suggestion for improvement 1: Stay flexible!! (There was still capacity, the inn was empty, there were still 3-4 tables outside) 2: Request a pre-order. This way you can plan and everyone gets something delicious to eat. We weren't allowed to choose spaetzle, the Brauhaus grill plate or other house specialties. As a result, part of the large group decided on another restaurant nearby. The worst thing, however, was the unfriendliness of the service manager. Chose the wrong career? Well, there are many good restaurants in the surrounding area and I won't stop there again. Too bad!

With a group of 25 people, an extremely reduced, uninteresting menu without consultation. No comparison to the standard card, unfortunately no interest in accommodating.

As soon as we entered the inn it became clear that the waitress was anything but in a good mood. This bad mood lasted through the entire evening and was noticeably taken out on the guests. When asked whether one could order more because no one was available for half an hour, the waitress reacted irritably and rudely. It's worth mentioning that both waiters appeared both irritable and stressed. Empty glasses went unnoticed for a long time, orders were forgotten... Too bad!

We were just outside in the beer garden, which was pleasant. There wasn't much going on either. The food we ordered, grilled plates and salads, tasted good. Drinks were okay too. The only thing that annoyed us was the poor service. The cards were handed out carelessly and then only asked for drinks 5 minutes later. There were no second rounds of drinks, as is usual now, the easiest way to make money is simply ignored. Dishes were not cleared away. The payment process also took quite a long time, until someone was in sight. We don't have to go there again.

Correction: The Dutch(?) service is now completely bored. Our group of 18 is served slowly and only half. The brewery has become great. The decor is cozy and elegant with lots of wood, the menu is small and tasty and the service is quick and courteous. The knuckle is buttery soft.

I honestly hated it it was the worst experience I’ve ever had .. I don’t eat pork and they cooked my salmon right after the pork and my meal tasted like it and it smelled like it.. I swear I couldn’t finish my meal

If you don't succeed, you become a landlord. Here you can experience how Bavarian hospitality is trampled on. Rude, unmotivated, grumpy, grim, annoyed. You can get all of this here in the service. Orders are taken incorrectly, very mediocre food at very high prices. Drinks also more expensive. Zero feel-good atmosphere despite very nice furnishings. No nice welcome, no nice goodbye. I think the tenant and his team knew even when we left that we probably wouldn't come back. Price-performance ratio poor. And there was nothing really Bavarian here. The days are probably numbered here. This is evidenced by the fact that there were hardly any guests there on Saturday evenings between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., and very few ate here. There has to be something wrong. That won't work.

Wir waren zu sechs Personen zum Essen dort. Eigentlich war alles in Ordnung, bis auf meinen Pflücksalat, die Zutaten waren alle aus dem Glas. Paprika, Möhren, sogar die Radischen. Schade , ich konnte den Salat leider nicht essen🤷🏼‍♀️. Dann hat die Bedienung noch behauptet es wäre alles frisch🤦‍♀️.

Wir waren anlässlich des Geburtstags meines Sohnes (8) einen Tag in Attendorn und daher hier essen. Das Lokal war bis auf drei Tische leer. Das Essen war maximal ok, mehr auch leider nicht. Salzarm und auch sonst kaum gewürzt, vermutlich nicht komplett frisch zubereitet. Das Züricher Geschnetzelte bestand überwiegend aus Knöpfle mit wenigen verirrten Fleischwürfelchen, dafür ist der Preis absolut nicht gerechtfertigt, der Name des Gerichts übrigens auch nicht. Mein Sohn erzählte der Bedienung stolz dass er Geburtstag hat, wurde aber komplett ignoriert und übergangen. Er bekam nichtmal eine Antwort, und nein, es ist nicht so dass der Herr ihn nicht gehört hätte, er hat ihn bewusst ignoriert. Offensichtlich haben wir auch nicht genug Umsatz gemacht, denn beim Verlassen des fast leeren Lokals wurden wir nur kurz eines Blickes gewürdigt, aber unser Abschiedsgruß wurde nicht erwidert. Scheint hier der unfreundliche Umgangston zu sein. Schade, aber beim nächsten Besuch in Attendorn gehen wir sicher woanders essen.

I had a veal schnitzel with asparagus and boiled potatoes. Schnitzel and potatoes were great. Unfortunately the asparagus was a bit very watery. What I can highly recommend is the Kaiserschmarren. This tasted very good.
