Beautiful inn with catastrophic service. I can't judge the food, I suspect it's very tasty. Regarding the two stars: we came with a large group and were given a special card due to the large number of people. This card was a joke. When I go out to eat in a brewery, I want to be able to choose something good from the menu. Suggestion for improvement 1: Stay flexible!! (There was still capacity, the inn was empty, there were still 3-4 tables outside) 2: Request a pre-order. This way you can plan and everyone gets something delicious to eat. We weren't allowed to choose spaetzle, the Brauhaus grill plate or other house specialties. As a result, part of the large group decided on another restaurant nearby. The worst thing, however, was the unfriendliness of the service manager. Chose the wrong career? Well, there are many good restaurants in the surrounding area and I won't stop there again. Too bad!

With a group of 25 people, an extremely reduced, uninteresting menu without consultation. No comparison to the standard card, unfortunately no interest in accommodating.

The food was really excellent, but unfortunately the service couldn't keep up with the quality of the food. As soon as we entered the inn it became clear that the waitress was anything but in a good mood. This bad mood lasted through the entire evening and was noticeably taken out on the guests. When asked whether one could order more because no one was available for half an hour, the waitress reacted irritably and rudely. It's worth mentioning that both waiters appeared both irritable and stressed. Empty glasses went unnoticed for a long time, orders were forgotten... Too bad!

Went camping with a group and then thought we would eat here. The operation was quick and easy, without any problems. We got a seat straight away and ordered. The food was great and we ate our fill. The prices are fair and cheap. I can highly recommend the inn. We liked it.

We were just outside in the beer garden, which was pleasant. There wasn't much going on either. The food we ordered, grilled plates and salads, tasted good. Drinks were okay too. The only thing that annoyed us was the poor service. The cards were handed out carelessly and then only asked for drinks 5 minutes later. There were no second rounds of drinks, as is usual now, the easiest way to make money is simply ignored. Dishes were not cleared away. The payment process also took quite a long time, until someone was in sight. We don't have to go there again.

Correction: The Dutch(?) service is now completely bored. Our group of 18 is served slowly and only half. The brewery has become great. The decor is cozy and elegant with lots of wood, the menu is small and tasty and the service is quick and courteous. The knuckle is buttery soft.

I honestly hated it it was the worst experience I’ve ever had .. I don’t eat pork and they cooked my salmon right after the pork and my meal tasted like it and it smelled like it.. I swear I couldn’t finish my meal

If you don't succeed, you become a landlord. Here you can experience how Bavarian hospitality is trampled on. Rude, unmotivated, grumpy, grim, annoyed. You can get all of this here in the service. Orders are taken incorrectly, very mediocre food at very high prices. Drinks also more expensive. Zero feel-good atmosphere despite very nice furnishings. No nice welcome, no nice goodbye. I think the tenant and his team knew even when we left that we probably wouldn't come back. Price-performance ratio poor. And there was nothing really Bavarian here. The days are probably numbered here. This is evidenced by the fact that there were hardly any guests there on Saturday evenings between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., and very few ate here. There has to be something wrong. That won't work.

Wir waren zu sechs Personen zum Essen dort. Eigentlich war alles in Ordnung, bis auf meinen Pflücksalat, die Zutaten waren alle aus dem Glas. Paprika, Möhren, sogar die Radischen. Schade , ich konnte den Salat leider nicht essen🤷🏼‍♀️. Dann hat die Bedienung noch behauptet es wäre alles frisch🤦‍♀️.

Wir waren anlässlich des Geburtstags meines Sohnes (8) einen Tag in Attendorn und daher hier essen. Das Lokal war bis auf drei Tische leer. Das Essen war maximal ok, mehr auch leider nicht. Salzarm und auch sonst kaum gewürzt, vermutlich nicht komplett frisch zubereitet. Das Züricher Geschnetzelte bestand überwiegend aus Knöpfle mit wenigen verirrten Fleischwürfelchen, dafür ist der Preis absolut nicht gerechtfertigt, der Name des Gerichts übrigens auch nicht. Mein Sohn erzählte der Bedienung stolz dass er Geburtstag hat, wurde aber komplett ignoriert und übergangen. Er bekam nichtmal eine Antwort, und nein, es ist nicht so dass der Herr ihn nicht gehört hätte, er hat ihn bewusst ignoriert. Offensichtlich haben wir auch nicht genug Umsatz gemacht, denn beim Verlassen des fast leeren Lokals wurden wir nur kurz eines Blickes gewürdigt, aber unser Abschiedsgruß wurde nicht erwidert. Scheint hier der unfreundliche Umgangston zu sein. Schade, aber beim nächsten Besuch in Attendorn gehen wir sicher woanders essen.

I had a veal schnitzel with asparagus and boiled potatoes. Schnitzel and potatoes were great. Unfortunately the asparagus was a bit very watery. What I can highly recommend is the Kaiserschmarren. This tasted very good.

Bei einer leider wirklich etwas nervigen Tischauswahl, Frau hochschwanger, wird der Chef des Hauses unhöflich und sehr laut, unglaublich dass man nach der Bitte um Diskretion des Lokales verwiesen wird. Dass er dabei zweimal in die Hände klatscht hat dem ganzen noch die Krone aufgesetzt, der kleinen Tochter unserer Freunde konnte ich vor Empörung nicht erklären wieso wir das Lokal verlassen mussten!

Unfortunately, when choosing a table that was a bit annoying, the woman was heavily pregnant, the manager of the house became rude and very loud, unbelievably, you were turned away from the restaurant after asking for discretion. The fact that he clapped his hands twice topped it all off, I couldn't explain to our friends' little daughter because of her outrage why we had to leave the restaurant!

I was there on March 31, 2024. The food was absolutely delicious. The pretzel dumplings in particular were very, very good. Unfortunately, the crispy knuckle didn't have much to do with crispy. I also know them to be crispier from restaurants in Bavaria. Apart from the food, I noticed three negative things: 1. I didn't think it was okay that guests came after us (sat right next to us) and their orders were simply accepted and brought earlier than ours. If I come “first”, I want to be the first to be served. 2. the music was absolutely terrible. It's okay to only play German songs, but I can't be tortured with five Mark Forster songs during a meal. And generally just sappy songs by Sarah Conor and the like. I almost got my period while eating. There needs to be more variety, it can't be the case that it feels like there are only three artists running. 3. There were guests there who had a dog with them. (Why do you even take a dog to a restaurant and why is something like that even tolerated?) This dog barked begging every few seconds for several minutes, which was incredibly annoying. The staff should have intervened after the third bark at the latest. I wouldn't rule out coming back because I'm interested in how other dishes taste and there will definitely be something delicious!

Nice beer garden, restaurant looks good

The beer garden season rang in today when the weather was nice and stopped here. You can sit outside really comfortably and enjoy yourself. The food was super tasty and plentiful. The staff is nice and attentive, wishes are tried to be implemented and the dog is also welcome. We had the knuckle and the farmer's pan - highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

We visited there for the first time with two people on March 30, 2024. It's a great inn, modern and stylishly furnished, very appealing ambience. The staff is very friendly, attentive and quick to serve. The well-stocked menu offers something for every taste. The Benediktiner Weissbier / Hefe Weizen is drinkable, tasty, easy to digest and perfectly tapped. Everything is within reasonable price. Anyone traveling in Attendorn is well advised to stop off there. It is worth it ..

We visited the Benediktiner restaurant in Attendorn for the first time today as part of a family event. Everything was to our complete satisfaction, the ambience is very high quality and there is a good range of specialty beers on offer. The food is of high quality and very tasty and is prepared in an open kitchen, price/performance is consistent. The staff are complete, friendly and attentive. All in all very recommendable. Thank you for the lovely evening.

After dinner in the evening we were unfortunately not offered any more drinks, complete ignorance :-(

It was a nice shop in terms of its layout, the service we had at the beginning was also friendly, but the food was terrible and it was also too expensive. When we wanted to pay we were kept waiting for over 30 minutes even though it wasn't very busy. It used to be different.

Fries were soft and the chicken burger was a pretty tired number

In terms of ambience, it was a nice shop, the service we had at the beginning was also friendly, but the food was very bad. In the end, even though it wasn't too busy, we had to wait for over half an hour before we could pay. It used to be different.

After a walk through beautiful Attendorn, we stopped for dinner at the Benedictine inn. The food was also absolutely good in terms of price-performance ratio. Nice and attentive service. We'll definitely come back again.

Tasty beer and extensive menu. The goose with dumplings and red cabbage is awesome. Service friendly and accommodating. All in all very recommendable.

We came for lunch. The inn was half occupied. Despite this, we were put in a side room - this handling led to a lack of understanding. The food wasn't convincing either.

Seit längerem mal wieder da gewesen, dieses mal war es ganz ok. Das Essen und der Service waren gut. Allerdings ist das Preisniveau recht hoch. Preis-/Leistung könnte besser sein.

Hatte die halbe Ente mit Rotkohl und Klößen. War super lecker. Portionsgröße war Recht groß. Bin pappensatt nach Hause. Mein Verlobter hatte einen Hähnchenburger mit Pommes. Ist ebenfalls satt nach Hause 👍

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen: es schmeckt gut und sieht sehr gut aus! Der Service ist sehr erfrischend: betritt man das Lokal wird man an dem Platz geleitet und die Kellner / Kennerinnen sind sehr zuvorkommend. 5/5 - auch die Atmosphäre stimmt für einen angenehmen ruhigen Abend oder auch in größeren Runde!!

Wir waren zu 5 Personen am 17.11.23 dort . Wir wurden zuvorkommend bedient und das Essen war gut. Schönes Ambiente kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Mehr schein als sein ! Das Bier schmeckt nicht wirklich. Das Essen hat Imbiss Niveau zu dementsprechend nicht stimmigen Preisen. Mein Bauernhuhn war an keiner Stelle goldbraun und lediglich mit Salz gewürzt .. Hätte man auch als gebackenes Suppenhuhn deklarieren können ... Alein das Ambiente ist stilvoll und schick .. Wer eine gute echte Handwerkliche Küche sucht geht am besten 200 Meter weiter richtung Ortskern und lässt sich im Hotel zur Post nieder!

Wo ich bin echt Sprachlos. Der Service war mega das Bier super. Die Haxe perfekt. Alleine dafür würde ich nochmal nach Attendorn fahren

Tolles Gastrokonzept mit einem Mix aus traditionellem bayrischem Flair, als auch modernen Akzenten. Die Speise- und Getränkekarte ist umfangreich, traditionell und größtenteils natürlich deftig - so wie man es in einem Wirtshaus erwartet. Hier findet jeder was passendes. Die Speisen sind gut zubereitet und schmecken sehr lecker. Der Service ist gut. Je nach Tageszeit, Auslastung und Kellner schwindet die Freundlichkeit auf ein neutrales Minimum. Menschlich verständlich, gastronomisch finde ich das schwierig. Daher einen Stern Abzug. Reservierung von Vorteil. Küche hat bis 21:30 Uhr auf.

Es hätte uns schon stutzig machen sollen, Das das Wirtshaus nicht besondere gut besucht war. Das bestellte Essen, unter anderem ein Wirtshausschnitzel, war nicht so gut wie erwartet, vor allem der Kartoffel-Gurkensalat schmeckte wie ein Fertigprodukt plus 3 Scheibchen Salatgurke. Als ich beim Abräumen der Teller gesagt habe, das dieser eher kein Highlight war, haben wir umgehend, völlig unaufgefordert unsere Rechnung bekommen. Das sah für mich schon sehr nach einer Aufforderung aus, doch bitte zugehen. Das haben wir dann auch gemacht und werden ganz bestimmt auch nicht wiederkommen.

Ein bisschen München im Sauerland. Gute bayerische Küche, leckeres Benediktiner Bier in zünftiger Atmosphäre 👍

Essen war sehr lecker, nette Bedienung und alles war sehr Sauber.

Super Ambiente und gutes, rustikales Essen. Allerdings unfreundliches Personal. Konnte keine Auskunft geben, ob Burger Laktose enthalten. Bier war zu wenig im 0,5 Liter Glas. Kellner hat den Tisch bewusst ignoriert. Ambiente und Essen top, Bedienung leider ungenügend.

Dieser Laden hat absolut keine Bayerische Atmosphäre Kellner Sind unfreundlich und wenn mal am Tisch sitzt verdurstet man

Lange Wartezeiten aufs Essen. Dann teilweise falsch ausgeliefert (teilweise hat der Service nicht gewusst, was er in der Hand hält).

Burger Zeit im Wirtshaus Habe mir heute den Italien Burger gegönnt. Der war mega lecker, sehr empfehlenswert. Das Burger Brötchen ist von Aurel ( Chefkoch) selbstgemacht und war in der Kombinationen mit der hausgemachten Tomatensauce einfach nur mega gut😊. Kommt vorbei und probiert es selber aus.

Kellner bietet Speisekarte an, bei der Aufnahme der Bestellung heißt es dann, die Küche sei geschlossen. Bestellen also nur Getränke und warten dann zum bezahlen knapp 15 Minuten draußen, ohne dass eine Servicekraft sich sehen lässt. Zahlung mit Karte wurde angeboten und dann aber abgelehnt, weil sie diese erst ab 10€ annehmen dürfen. Als ich sage, ich habe kein Bargeld, wird man noch dumm angemacht mit dem Satz „ich glaub‘ Sie verstehen das nicht!?“ Doch. Ich verstehe das sehr gut, wenn man aber unterirdischen Service bietet, muss man sich nicht wundern, dass ich die 0,90€ auf 10€ nicht aufgerundet habe. Die Zahlung per Karte hat dann doch geklappt. Aber weder ein “Danke” noch ein “Auf Wiedersehen” gab es. Keine Empfehlung von uns.

Im Gegensatz zum ersten Besuch diesmal leider enttäuscht worden. Vorspeise (Wurstsalat) kam erst nach knapp einer Stunde und auf Nachfrage - diese wurde auch noch patzig und mit einer dreisten Lüge ("drin ist es auch voll") kommentiert. Auch die Hauptspeise kam anschließend erst, nachdem die Servicekraft von ihrem Vorgesetzten darauf hingewiesen wurde. Generell wirkten alle Servicekräfte nicht gerade motiviert. Beim Schnitzel hatte man leider das Gefühl, dass die Panade knapp geworden war. Wirklich schade, an sich ein schönes Restaurant.

Durch Zufall nach einem Besuch am Biggesee in diesem Lokal gelandet. Gut Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Service nett, aufmerksam und auch bei Sonderwünschen kein Gemecker. Wir hatten Käsespätzle und Kabeljaufilet. Die Spätzle waren der Hammer. Super käsig und große Portion. Kabeljau war auch sehr gut. Der Meerrettich dabei war sehr lecker und hausgemacht. Ambiente Wirtshausstil. Große Tische mit Bänken und kleinere Tische mit Stühlen. Örtlichkeiten sehr sauber. Für jemanden der Lust auf bayerische Küche hat, auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Wir waren dort mit zwei Familien. Die Inhaberin und Mitarbeiterinnen waren durchweg sehr nett und sehr bemüht. Für die Kinder gab es ausreichend Hochstühle, was schon oft in anderen Lokalitäten ein Problem war. Das Essen mutet sehr urig an, bietet aber auch für Vegetarier*innen ausreichend Alternativen. Auch Sonderwünsche wurden beachtet, wie zum Beispiel weniger Würzung auf den Pommes der Kinder. Aber, und daher nur drei Sterne, das Essen war es nicht wert. Der Blumenkohlburger war relativ geschmacksneutral, ok, kann an den Radi liegen die ich bat wegzulassen. Trotzdem war der Burger recht klein, der Blumenkohl irgendwie nicht gewürzt und statt Curry Mayonnaise schmeckte es nach regulärer Mayo. Der Burger meines Mannes muss laut seiner Aussage auch recht geschmacksneutral gewesen sein, das Essen unserer Freunde war ebenso nicht begeisternd. Zudem war es extrem laut, obwohl man uns auf die "ruhigere" hintere Terrasse gesetzt hatte. Alles in allem ein durchwachsenes Erlebnis, kann man machen, muss man aber nicht.
