Very friendly service, always attentive. Very good food, and as already mentioned, top-notch service from the girls, especially our waiter Emre. Everything was very personal, just as a restaurant should be. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend a visit. We'll definitely be back 👍

On the evening of September 20th, we visited the inn because of the promising advertisement, expecting an Oktoberfest. Unfortunately, our expectations turned out to be a misunderstanding. The evening began pleasantly, as the drink selection met our expectations. However, when we asked the waitress at the end of the evening about the advertisement, which promised a free 0.3l beer in traditional costume, it turned out that this wasn't the case. The waitress then amended the bill, and we received the promised beer. Finally, we asked the waitress why it was so quiet due to the advertisement. The waitress replied, "It's good for them because otherwise it would be too stressful." This explanation surprised us and left us somewhat confused. It is unfortunate that our expectations were not met, and we remembered the evening differently. We wish the inn improved communication and the guest experience in the future. An Oktoberfest should be characterized by a festive atmosphere and good cheer. Thank you for the opportunity to share our thoughts.

We're back at the "new" restaurant again. Today, too, there was nothing to complain about. The service is friendly and prompt. The ambiance is rustic and cozy. And the food is truly delicious. I had a burger with pulled pork and, for dessert, a giant pretzel with butter. Both were really good. We'll be back.

We were all very satisfied with the schnitzel, even though it was "only" the pork schnitzel. The fried potatoes and salad were also very tasty. The waiter was also very humorous.

The food is delicious, but the restaurant is only conditionally recommended, meaning it's only for people up to 185 cm tall. Above that, you can't sit upright at the table because the crossboards are too low!

We were here today with five people. The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back!

Went there for dinner today with two people. There were only a few tables left. The waiter (slim, middle-aged) reluctantly cleared a table for us, from customers who had just paid. We had asked not to have to sit on the high stools. Then I wanted a draft beer, to which he said, "We don't have any" and silently handed us the drinks menu. We also noticed him reprimanding a very young colleague so badly that she burst into tears and had to be calmed down by another colleague. At the next table were two men who had eaten and ordered small beers for the third time. At this point the waiter remarked, "I need the table right away!" Unbelievable!!! We then paid and he asked if we enjoyed our meal. My reply was: the food was delicious, but we've had better pretzels with cheese here. A snide reply: you can also order the pretzel without cheese. All I can say here is, keep your eyes open when choosing a career. CONCLUSION: No tip, and no further visits to the brewery. Attendorn has other restaurants where you won't be served by an overwhelmed waiter.

It's nicely decorated, but I didn't get what I ordered. I had to wait about 45 minutes for my food, and it was also wrong, which was particularly disappointing.

Last Friday, I sat down in the brewery's beer garden to wait for my three companions, who would later eat there with them. Later, four people sat down at the next table, and the waitress (a middle-aged man) quickly took their orders. When I asked if I could order something, I was told he was alone and working his regular round. Later, several people sat down at another table, and he also took orders from them. I asked again when I could order. Again, the same answer: "I'm alone and have my regular round." A little later, several people sat down at the table behind me. Here, too, he took an order and started to leave. Before doing so, I asked him if I had done anything to him or why he wasn't serving me. Again, the same answer. Then I got up to get a beer at the bar. The waitress, seemingly completely overwhelmed, overtook me with the words, "I'll go with you right away." He went over to the man at the tap and chatted with him for several moments. I waited patiently for the conversation to end and asked the beer tapper if he wasn't interested in the second page of the story. "I didn't have time for the first one," was his reply. I then left the bar, while the waiter, grinning cheekily, wished me a nice evening.

Yes, highly recommended!! Young, very friendly owners! The service is great. The only thing is that the menu isn't exactly extensive for my taste. Of course, that's not a bad thing, but maybe the option of a senior citizen's size could be better, or just a few more smaller dishes... That's just my opinion, though. I hope everyone goes there and supports young people who have the courage to enrich Attendorn so well. 💪😉

Despite having a reservation, we were told upon arrival that no food orders were possible because the order list in the kitchen was already too long. To avoid putting a mental strain on the staff, the ordering system wouldn't allow any more orders. The restaurant wasn't overly busy at that time. There were still a few seats available outside and plenty inside. When we still couldn't place an order after waiting 30 minutes, we gave up. I've never experienced anything like that in a restaurant. Two waiters then started talking to us as if these circumstances were the most normal thing in the world. Weird...

A wonderful evening with great food

A lovely summer spot with a beer garden. When it's full, there can be a long wait for food, but you're always informed about the status. Very friendly and welcoming staff. It was a lovely time there.

Despite its urban setting, the place feels very relaxed and comfortable. The food is excellent, and as if that weren't reason enough to come here, you can enjoy not only the Bavarian food atmosphere but also the Bavarian drink atmosphere, as they also offer Maß beer. All in all, a must-have for all connoisseurs. Whoever comes here is greeted with love and pampered with excellent service.

Hello. Six of us were at the Wirtshaus Essen last night. The weather was nice and we sat in the large beer garden. Yesterday afternoon/evening, a DJ was playing there, which created a great atmosphere. We had a variety of dishes, all of which were perfectly cooked and very, very tasty. All were served at the same time. The drinks were also delicious and nicely chilled. The staff was very friendly and always available. We would gladly return.

No comparison to its predecessor! All in all, a very successful concept! The food was exceptionally delicious, the ambiance was upscale and cozy, and the service was consistently friendly and attentive! Our children also had some distraction in the super-clean play area! We really enjoyed everything. Highly recommended! Regards to the entire team!

We went out to dinner with a few women from our choir on Monday. It was really great. Very good, fast, and friendly service. Everyone was very happy with the food. It was a really lovely evening.

A very nice inn. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The menu is very good. We had pork schnitzel that was nicely crispy and thinly breaded. The chili mayo lived up to its name. The Benedictine beer was very tasty. The Bavarian cream is highly recommended. We'd be happy to come back.

We were here with 12 people, and EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect: a very appealing menu, attentive and friendly service, the food was on point and delicious! The drinks were just as good… We were very impressed and can recommend this restaurant 100%.

What was that?! While visiting Attendorn, I was looking for a nice place with good food. The well-designed website allowed me to see the menu, contacted me, and quickly booked a table. Everything was totally hassle-free. Once I arrived, I was able to sit in the spacious outdoor area. The service was so friendly. Not overly so, but simply great/attentive, so that a bond was formed immediately. I ordered the dishes, and what can I say? Perfect. Delicious cheese spaetzle, great schnitzel, desserts prepared with love... Absolutely fantastic. I wasn't expecting that, and all I can say is: keep it up, people will be beating you down! By the way: it was so delicious that we ate there again the next day. Different service staff, but again super friendly and attentive. That's what makes dining out so much fun.

The ambiance is quite decent. Rather rustic, with a slight Bavarian touch. The food, two veal schnitzels (Wiener Schnitzel), was unfortunately not good. It was far too thin, and all you could taste was breadcrumbs. It's a shame, because it could be much better...I won't be coming back for a while.

You order one beer after another in a convivial setting and are expected to tell the waiter what you've had when you pay...just as chaotic as before. Simply drawing a line on the beer mat is a tried-and-true way of doing things. Everything's digital now...disaster. Likewise, you're immediately addressed informally. The food isn't home-cooked, but mostly preheated. Spätzle from a package...for a lot of money. Schnitzel has looked better. It doesn't have much to do with Bavarian cuisine; it's more geared toward tourists.

We are a small family currently vacationing at Lake Biggersee. Today we ate at the Benediktiner Wirtshaus for the first time. The ambiance, the food, and the service were a solid 12 out of 10! We've rarely seen such a wonderful, child-friendly restaurant. Hats off to you, and keep up the good work! The young gentleman serving us was excellent! We'll be back.

On July 11, 2025, six of us dined at the Benediktiner Attendorn. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our reserved table. During the five hours we were there, the cheerful service staff took perfect care of us. Our various dishes were unquestionably delicious, the beers were on tap, and the Kaiserschmarren left us wanting more. An all-around fantastic evening. We'll be back.

Very tasty knuckle of pork and schnitzel, generous portions. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere inside. Outside is right on the street, so it's a bit noisy but still nice.

Our visit to the Benediktiner Brauhaus Attendorn was very nice. Everyone (4 children and 4 adults) enjoyed the food. There's a special children's menu! The knuckle of pork was ultra-crispy, the sauces delicious, and the fried chicken was also very good. Only the apple strudel tasted like a convenience store product. The Wiener Schnitzel was perfect. Enes provided wonderful service and accompanied us perfectly throughout the evening, advising and taking care of us. Thank you so much, we'll be happy to come back.

We went there on a Saturday evening (the two of us) to try the restaurant after it reopened. We ordered a sausage salad with bread and a sweet potato with sour cream. Both dishes were very tasty and appetizingly presented, but we would like to note that the bread-to-butter ratio in the sausage salad was off. Too much butter, too little bread. One more slice of bread wouldn't have hurt. The sweet potato, unfortunately, was a "mini version." It was more like an appetizer—not enough to fill you up. The waitress merely noted this, nothing more. Afterward, we tried a Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancake). It was excellent, very tasty, plentiful, and beautifully presented.

Not really recommended, the food is mediocre chain restaurant and the service was at its limit!

I've been there twice now. The ambiance is very nice and clean. Typical brewery. The food has always been good so far. The portions are always good and the prices are reasonable. The dumplings on the knuckle of pork could have been a bit saltier. But otherwise, the dish was very flavorful. The pork schnitzel was also very tasty and, with the side salad, a good portion. The service was good and attentive on both days.

I especially recommend the woodcutter schnitzel and the freshly tapped Benedictine beer. The vegetarian options were also impressive. The service was attentive, friendly, and prompt, sometimes with a cheeky remark – you feel truly welcome. The atmosphere is rustic, but not old-fashioned – just the right mix of tradition and a modern, feel-good atmosphere. I'll definitely be back – a real asset to the city!

New tenants, very nice and friendly staff. The food tastes very good, the selection suits the location, and there's something for everyone. I'm happy to be able to recommend something to our holiday guests in Attendorn again. The only thing that wasn't so good was that paying with a mobile phone or watch doesn't work yet. But I think that's already being worked on.

We went there to have a few beers. We had the impression that the staff was only concerned with themselves. We had a table opposite the bar. There were seven waitresses at the bar, and they made us wait at least 15 minutes to order a round of beers...

The place has to survive, because I have no words for the food - except that the cola from the bottle was an absolute hit, perfectly chilled, a true masterpiece of refrigeration technology! Review: Disappointing food – it used to be much better I was really disappointed with my last visit. The food was an absolute disaster: the fries had no salt at all and were soggy instead of crispy. The pork knuckle had no taste whatsoever - a real highlight was completely missing. The cream sauce was also watery and thin, without any depth or creaminess. The vegetable? Unfortunately soggy and overcooked. You can clearly see that the previous operator is missing. The quality of the food used to be worlds better - unfortunately we can no longer recommend the restaurant today. Definitely not another visit for me.

Very friendly and courteous staff. It's nice to sit outside when the weather is good. When it rained it wasn't a problem to move inside. A very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The meal took a while, but there were also large groups who ordered before us.

We were positively impressed, so we went there twice... first drank, then went back for dinner after a walk. Very polite staff...the food was delicious. I find the ambience inside very cozy.
