Calzone not recommended... very peppery everything... a shame

Pasta in truffle cream sauce was like pasta in cream soup. Unfortunately the taste has also deteriorated significantly. Unfortunately they were the worst noodles I've eaten. Back then it was one of the best stores for me, today it's a flop. Super expensive, very small portions and it didn't taste like anything. Was my last visit

Watery and tasteless pasta, which is not surprising considering how it was prepared. I mean, pouring hot water on a parmesan wheel to melt the cheese is unorthodox at best. The service was perfunctory. Cash only payment. In a restaurant. In 2024.

There were 10 of us, the truffle pasta didn't taste like truffles, the tomato soup was hot water with a little tomato paste. All 10 people were not satisfied. All the dishes were very nicely prepared, but the taste was nothing at all. Too little salt, bland, a shame. 2 meals came when the others were almost ready. In addition, 2 menus were forgotten. So we don't go there anymore. ...It's a shame, but something needs to change.

Had dinner at the restaurant today. Doors were open all evening, even though it was very cold and there was a lot of draft. You can eat salad like a rabbit from the garden - no real dressing except a little balsamic for the look, very dry and tasteless. My friend had the truffle pasta, which was tossed in a parmesan wheel, this was served cold and swimming in oil. Likewise, the Parmesan was already firm and lumpy when served. I actually wanted to eat lasagne - it wasn't available, so I opted for pasta with chicken. The pasta was well seasoned and there was plenty of sauce, but you could find the chicken pieces and count them on one hand. When we wanted to pay and I handed a bill to the waiter, I was asked: "How much should I pay?" - comes across as if you depend on tips. A question like that doesn't work at all, because the customer expresses himself how much he would like to tip. Basically we were served quickly, but the table and empty plates were only cleared after we had paid - that's not good service. In a restaurant the following applies: "Customer = King" - that is definitely not the case at Bella Luna!

Unfortunately, the evening at Bella Luna wasn't as nice as hoped. The bread was very dry, the olives came straight from the jar and the Aperol was the color of rosé wine. The Aperol was "improved" but still tasted strange. Afterwards we realized that the drink was just Aperol and mineral water. We ordered the truffle pasta, which unfortunately was dripping with oil and only tasted slightly of truffles. You can get them much better elsewhere for €19. We had the feeling that the staff were only helping out exceptionally that evening, as the service was very disappointing. The tables were not set, the cutlery that was brought later was dirty and the plates (even at neighboring tables) were not cleared for a long time. Because of the otherwise positive comments, we were a little shocked after our visit. Therefore, unfortunately I cannot recommend the Bella Luna at all.

WARNING, NEVER ORDER from here! I ordered Uber Eats, they kept saying it was delayed but would arrive at my hotel in 5 minutes. Kept delaying 5 minutes at a time for over 1,5 hours. Then cancelled my order :) Incredibly poor customer service.

Pizza was ok but took nearly an hour to arrive while only 4 tables were occupied. Cash only but barely any change. Service was friendly.

Laden wirkte ganz nett. Schönes Ambiente und an dem Abend auch recht ruhig. Es waren mit uns 3 Tische besetzt. Wir bestellten 2 Pizzen ( Caprese, also Tomate, Mozarella und Oceania, also Rucola und Garnelen) und einen Beilagensalat. Während wir auf unser Essen warteten fiel uns auf, dass der Kellner/Koch den Laden alleine schmiss, dementsprechend lang dauerte unser Essen auch (ca. 40min). Zu unserer Verwirrung wurde dann ein Salat und 2 Vorspeißen gebracht. Die gaben wir natürlich gleich wieder mit. Wir hatten ja Pizza bestellt… . Nach Entschuldigung nahm er die Vorspeisen wieder mit. Wie man Pizza und Vorspeise verwechseln kann ist mir zwar immer noch ein Rätsel, aber egal. Die Vorspeisen waren auf jeden Fall das Äquivalent zu den Pizzen. Also einmal Tomate Mozarella und einmal Garnelen mit Rucola. Und so doof ich Essensverschwendung finde, einfach die Vorspeise auf die Pizza zu knallen geht gar nicht, zumal da noch Balsamico drauf war… . Die Pizza war dementsprechend schlecht und fade, was nur noch vom Salat überboten wurde. Dieser bestand zur Hälfte aus Dosenmais und war nur mit einer riesen Menge Balsamico angemacht, dementsprechend sauer und trocken. Wirklich schlecht! Im Großen und Ganzen für uns leider enttäuschend, auch wenn mir der Kellner/Koch leid getan hat, weil er den ganzen Laden alleine schmeißen muss.

In 2021 and 2022 the food (pizza, pasta and salad) was much better. Unfortunately it hasn't been good since the new owners. Way too expensive.

As we were waiting for our food, the boss angrily came into the restaurant to very loudly criticize an employee. Unfortunately, we noticed all of this and it really dampened our desire to eat. Other guests were also uncomfortable and some even left. The food was ok, but not Italian!

I ordered via Lieferando. The first error here in the app is that there is no minimum order value. Unfortunately that was wrong, you had to order for at least €30. All right, then I did it. I placed the order at 8:13 p.m. The delivery was supposed to arrive at 8:56 p.m. I then waited on the street from 8:56 p.m. to 9:40 p.m. At 9:29 p.m. I called them and said my order was on the way. After 9:51 p.m. no one answered the phone. And I went to bed with €35 less and an empty stomach… Thanks for nothing but trouble..! Addendum 22:16 the delivery arrived, impudence! The opening times are never the same. This is the third time I've found myself standing in front of a closed door even though the store actually has to be open

First of all: ATTENTION! The prices on Google do NOT correspond to the prices on the menu. According to Google, the Margherita pizza costs €6.90, but according to the menu I had to pay €11.90 on site. For me, the bad service comes from the fact that no one could tell me why that was the case. The takeaway Margherita pizza was - for me, and it's always a matter of personal opinions - one of the worst I've seen so far. Way too much cheese, the edge charred black. Apart from the fact that you only put the (fresh) mozzarella on it AFTER baking. The oregano scattered on it is also a bad habit. I can't say much about the ambience because I only took the pizza to go. But I didn't find gold cutlery on small square dark brown tables very inviting. Maybe the rest is better, but in my opinion it wasn't an Italian pizza.

Stopped by by chance while visiting Hamburg! Great food and drink! The specialty: “Penne with truffles” made from a cheese wheel. Very satisfied and full. Can be recommended at any time!

Very friendly service and the food was very tasty

I don't understand the reviews. We ordered and pizza arrived lukewarm, was completely greasy and tasted of absolutely nothing except old fat... and that at just under €15 per pizza! We relied on the reviews... On the Caprese pizza, the basil was dried out around the pizza, I didn't understand it either. :/ A pity..

We are from Upper Bavaria and are on vacation in Hamburg. We have eaten at this Italian restaurant a few times now. We have to say, everything tastes really good. The price-performance ratio is also okay. The staff is very nice and listens to the wishes of their guests. We will definitely come back when we vacation in Hamburg again.

After one visit we were quite disappointed. The reviews are relatively promising. The truffle pasta was very clear and the advertised way of getting it at the table from the parmesan wheel was not the case at all. Pizzas were okay but not special either. The ambience was okay, the service wasn't convincing, drinks were only served with the food and in the end it wasn't even possible to pay by card. Things like this are better overall. It's a shame, especially since it's not really cheap either.

Really very bad food. We had truffle pasta and aglio e olio. Both were poorly seasoned, bland and drowned in butter/oil. Unfortunately, the whole thing is simply an advertising trap and more of an overpriced snack bar than a restaurant. Unfortunately, the ambience here is not deceptive. I can't understand how the shop can be recommended on any food blog.

Pizza dough oversalted, service very slow and somehow friendly but semi-competent. The table was half-heartedly wiped down with a spray when we arrived, overwhelmed when the restaurant was 3/4 full, very long waiting times. The quality of the food wasn't convincing and couldn't make up for the other deficiencies.

We spontaneously came across the restaurant while looking for food. Fortunately!! The food was amazing! Fresh pasta, delicious sauce and a great pizza! We'll be back next time we visit Hamburg! 🥰

Very nice service, but we were very disappointed with the truffle pasta. For €23.90 there were only 4-5 small slices of truffles, otherwise the pasta only tasted like cream and was unfortunately relatively bland.

Unfortunately I'm totally disappointed. I ordered a 2 for 1 offer for spagetti Bolognese via Lieferando. First the food came 30 minutes later than announced and then it was a huge portion of pasta with almost no sauce. It was so dry it wasn't edible. The sauce was saved nicely here. I would have preferred a smaller but tasty portion. Will never order here again.

Unfortunately, the food was completely tasteless, cold and simply too expensive. Unfortunately the starters are really a joke.

We had intended to spend a pleasant evening as a couple, but in the end we were thoroughly disappointed. Our order of carpaccio as a starter turned out to be questionable as the meat didn't appear to be fresh but had probably just been taken from the fridge. We also received the truffle pasta we ordered with our main course, but without any trace of truffles - instead we only received pasta with oil and parmesan. In addition, it was only when the main course was served that we were informed that only cash was accepted, which led to an unexpected and unpleasant incident that forced us to get money from the bank. So according to the motto, if you eat, you have to pay. The main course was also served cold, which further worsened our impression. We ended up having to pay for an unsatisfactory meal that cost over €70 in total. The final highlight of the evening was the inadequate response to our request for a discount due to the missing truffle, where we were told that this was not possible due to systemic restrictions. Given these experiences, I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant at all.

Service wasn't good, there was no normal beer, there was no special and paying with a card wasn't possible either. Just sad. Never again. Small portion and completely overpriced.

This restaurant simply is a huge disappointment. We went there for the truffel pasta, but despite the advertising, the used truffel pieces (very few) were old and completely untasty. The pasta is basically what a three year old could cook, completely without taste, not even parmesan added, simply the chef completely failed his job. Also do not expect much from the dessert. The only positive point to mention is that the waitress was really trying (service overall was not good but the effort was there and I dont want to put this on the waitress at all, its management and quality failure at this restaurant). For all of this it is highly overpriced. Summary: dont go there.

I do not recommend. Truffle pasta had no truffle taste at all. Tiramisu tasted like nothing. No soap in the toilet. Overpriced wine of bad quality that comes in a jar. You can count on a headache. Very expensive for what they serve. I would never go back and again, do not recommend. Bad experience. Wasted money.

Very small, rather inconspicuous ristorante with a manageable menu. Focus on pizza and pasta, the hidden champion is spaghetti made from a parmesan wheel with truffles. Pasta was surprisingly good, pizza was a bit overloaded with gorgonzola, but that's probably a personal opinion. Prices are still moderate plus minus 15 euros for the main course. Service was very friendly and attentive, as there are a lot of tables and chairs spread out over a small area, it's rather cozy.

Dirty tables that were only cleaned when asked, cutlery was forgotten to bring so that you couldn't start eating for ages, the bruschetta consisted of a tomato, mozzarella and dry bread. The main course came completely staggered so that not everyone could eat together. The waiter didn't even understand the simple question of whether the carbonara was made with cream (not exactly unimportant if you have a lactose intolerance, for example). In any case, neither the carbonara nor the pizza tasted good. Nothing special. Above all, the price for the truffle pasta is cheeky - you can also go straight to Edmondo and pay the same. Cute little restaurant with friendly and courteous staff. You are served quickly and on a Friday evening there was no problem getting a table. In terms of price, everything is okay and the pizza and pasta tasted good. Nothing outstanding but fundamentally solid. Can recommend a visit.

The food is really tasty and absolutely right in terms of price-performance. The industrial design of the restaurant is also really appealing and creates a cozy atmosphere. Price performance Solala. spagetthis with scampi, combed with three scampis, nothing more and nothing less, but more than 20 euros is great. And you could have gotten the pasta in the cafeteria. Overall, the store is a bit expensive for what you get and that's neither much nor special. A pity. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good or special either.

Unfortunately, service deserves minus stars... I've never had such lousy service. First drinks were forgotten, then we ordered bread and dips where only the dips arrived. Then we didn't have any cutlery for ages so the food was cold when we did have cutlery. But Service Kraft apparently had enough time to be on his cell phone every now and then 😵‍💫. They were nice but just completely incompetent, unfortunately. The taste of the food was okay. However, it was only when the food was brought that we were told that there was no truffle on the truffle pasta. Maybe you should. say before we place the order. We came specifically for the truffle pasta and were very disappointed. If there is no truffle then say it beforehand and don't charge the full price! 80€ left behind for unfortunately not a nice experience. We won't be coming back.

Wir kamen als Familie und gingen als Fremde. Die freien Tische waren weder sauber noch eingedeckt. Nach dem Platznehmen wurden Sprühschaum auf die Tische aufgetragen und abgewischt.Die bestellung dauerte über Gebühr lange. Weil: 1. die Eintragung ins Mobiltelefon klappt nicht, 2. die Eintragung ins Tablet klappte nicht. Ich habe mir den guten, alten Kellnerblock zurückgewünscht. Nach 30 min kommt das Essen, anschließend die Getränke. Besteck wurde bestellt, aber es hat mir zu lange gedauert. Habe es mir daher an den Nachbartischen selbst zusammengeklaubt, damit wir anfangen konnten, bevor das Essen kalt wurde. Dann kommt der Teller mit dem besteck, ich habe ihn an den Nachbartisch weitergereicht, die auch schon sehnsüchtigt gewartet haben. Ein anderes Paar am Nachbartisch hat die Nerven verloren und an der Theke die Bestellung storniert. Suppe, Salat und Pizza haben gut geschmeckt und wurden offensichtlich frisch zubereitet. Kartenzahlung war selbstverständlich nicht möglich. Fazit: Essen zwei Sterne, Service und Organisatin null Sterne.

Achtung (gerade) nur Barbezahlung. Wir waren zu viert hier und waren Insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Es wuderte uns, dass an einem Freitagabend nur noch 1 Pärchen da war. Ich hoffe doch das sonst mehr Gäste da sind. Essen: Die Pizzabrötchen mit Sucuk waren sehr gut. Die Minestrone war gut, aber etwas zu groß. Die Trüffel Pasta war sehr intensiv und etwas wenig, aber mit viel Trüffeln sehr schön. Die Calzone und Pizza waren ganz nett, aber der Piff fehlte. Service: Da wir nachher die einzigen Gäste waren, läst sich nicht sagen wie es ist wenn das Restaurant voll ist. Aber wir waren mit den 2 sehr jungen Männern gut versorgt. Sie waren sehr aufmerksam. Einzig das erst beim bezahlen gesagt wurde, dass nur Barzahlung geht, ist nicht ok. Bei einer Rechnung für 4 Leute hat man nicht unbedingt so viel Bargeld dabei. Ambiente: Sehr schön, edel, romantisch und gemütlich.

Leider keine Hunde erlaubt, selbst obwohl der Laden komplett leer war. Das Personal und Ambiente war trotzdem nett, deshalb die Sterne.

Ausbaufähig. Wir waren bisher zwei Mal dort zu Gast, mit einem Jahr Abstand. Das Essen ist solide, aber zu teuer… 14,90€ für vegetarische Nudeln, 15,90€ für einen Salat. Die Bedienungen wirken unerfahren, sehen nicht wenn Getränke leer sind und brauchen 15 Min, bis man initial nach Setzen im Lokal danach gefragt wird. Keine Kartenzahlung ist auch ein No-Go.

Stimmiges Konzept. Der Service hat deutlich Luft nach oben. Das Essen hier und auch. Wenn die Kinderkrankheiten ausgemerzt sind, Potential zum In-Restaurant. Aber nur, wenn dann auch die Innentemperatur wohlig ist und man nicht in Jacke am Tisch sitzen muss.

Selten so eine schlechte Pizza gegessen. Eigentlich bestand sie nur aus Fett. Es war nicht möglich eine kleine Pizza für Kinder zu machen. Sehr schade

Sehr Kleines Restaurant und saßen daher direkt an der Tür, wo es sehr kalt war. Der Service war eine Vollkatastrophe. Der Hauptgang kam wo die Vorspeise nicht mal aufgegessen war. Die Teller der Vorspeise blieben stehen. Als die Hauptspeise aufgegessen war wurden die Teller selbst nach 30 Minuten nicht abgeräumt. Wir zählten spaßeshalber die Anzahl wie oft der Kellner an uns mit leeren Händen vorbei ging, 16 Mal. Erst als wir Nachtisch bestellten und die Teller dabei demonstrativ zusammen stellten nahm der Kellner die Teller mit. An anderen Tischen wartete man 40 Minuten auf die Getränke und schüttelte nur noch den Kopf. Es war dadurch schon fast unterhaltsam unter den Gästen wie planlos der Kellner war. Das Essen hat aber sehr gut geschmeckt. Wiederkommen würde ich aber nicht…

Ich bin sehr positiv überrascht von diesem kleinen aber feinen Restaurant. Die Trüffel Nudeln sind göttlich. Die Preise finde ich in Ordnung, wenn man überlegt, wieviele Scheiben Trüffel auf die Pasta gehobelt werden! In anderen italienischen Restaurants hat man meist nur einen Hauch Trüffel und zahlt dafür das gleiche oder noch mehr. Die Kellnerin Jil ist so kompetent und lieb. Allgemein sind dort alle Mitarbeiter freundlich und verstehen etwas von Service. Ich für meinen Teil war sehr zufrieden, hab lecker gegessen und einen schönen Abend gehabt. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. ❤️❤️❤️

Ich war am 16.09 abends gegen 19 Uhr im Restaurant Bella Luna,der Service war super,tolle Ausstrahlung,keine Wartezeit.Das Essen war auch sehr gut, so wie es in einem Italienischen Restaurant sein sollte.

Leider war heute der Service nicht mehr so gut wie beim ersten Mal. Sehr schade!

Geschmacklich in Ordnung, Portion jedoch sehr klein. Trüffel Nudeln konnten uns nicht ganz überzeugen. Service freundlich, leider keine Karten Zahlung was in dem Preis Segment irritierend ist.

Essen ist top, der Kollege hat bemängelt das die Sauce Hollandaise bisschen wenig war, aber sonst alles top. Die Bedienung hat einen zettel mit hinzu gelegt auf dem guten Appetit gewünscht wurde und das man gerne auf Google eine Rezension hinterlassen kann Here WE Go! PS: Die Frau aus dem Service hatte eine angenehme Stimme und eine schöne Handschrift.

Leckeres Essen, nettes Personal - finde das Restaurant nur etwas klein.

Essen über Wolt bestellt. Essen kam heiß an, jedoch ohne bestelltes Besteck. Spaghetti Bolognese sehr wenig Fleisch und sehr scharf, nach der Hälfte nicht weiter essbar. Schokokuchen war gut, Soße säuerlich. War nicht wirklich gut, würde nicht nochmal bestellen.

The food was very very good and the service as well. Everyone that worked there was very kind and patient with my table. It’s a simple and small restaurant, but very cozy and welcoming. A very good characteristic of that place is that they close later then most places, which for tourists, is perfect 10/10 experience (we went there 25/07/2023)

Wir haben uns Essen bestellt, u.a. Spaghetti Scampi Aglio e Olio. Auf der Karte von Lieferando stand, dass Zucchinistreifen dabei sind. Die Spaghetti wurde jedoch ohne Zucchini geliefert, es lagen gerade mal drei Scampis drauf und mehr nicht. Dafür haben wir 21,90€ bezahlt. Die Tüte war durchnässt von Öl. In einer anderen Pasta war ein Haar drin. Wir haben angerufen und versucht eine Lösung zu finden. Leider hat der Manager des Ladens das Problem nicht verstanden, war überhaupt nicht serviceorientiert und obwohl er versprochen hatte uns 10€ zu erstatten, haben wir bis heute kein Geld erhalten! Also, Restaurant maximal überteuert für das was angeboten wird. Würde ich auf keinen Fall weiter empfehlen.

Die Bedienung hatte scheinbar ihren ersten Tag in diesem Restaurant. Dementsprechend chaotisch und unorganisiert lief der Service. Essen und Preis waren letztendlich jedoch absolut super und unschlagbar. Schade nur, dass keine Kinderportionen angeboten werden.

Waren hier auf Empfehlung des Hotelpersonals und es war superlecker, Bedienung sehr freundlich. Gerne kommen wir beim nächsten Hamburgbesuch wieder :)

Wir sind als Familie nach einer Tour in St. Pauli und nach einem Tip auf Tiktok auf dieses kleine italienische Restaurant gekommen. Das Essen ist wirklich lecker, liebevoll zubereitet und der Service ist sehr gut. Das Ambiente ist modern und es ist gemütlich. P.S.: Nein, der Inhaber ist kein "echter" Italiener, aber was soll's, er versteht es trotzdem, sehr lecker auf italienische Art zu kochen. Also Top Empfehlung, volle Punktzahl!

So ein gutes Essen hatte ich selten, ein richtiger Genuss! Eine klasse Auswahl an Gerichten, das Personal ist sehr nett und engagiert. Die Atmosphäre ist wunderschön und sauber. Immer wieder gerne, ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch! 👍🏻

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Essen war super lecker. Service war sehr nett und präsent ohne aufdringlichste sein. Essen ist hochwertig verarbeitet und gut abgeschmeckt. Obwohl ich nur sehr kurz in Hamburg war, musste ich ein 2. mal dort essen. Immer wieder gerne.

2 pizzas and 4, 1/2L bier for 38,20Euro. Good pizza. No idea what they add, but it gives a good flavour. Would I return, yes. But we're just visiting Hamburg once. Parking paid on the street. Friendly staff. Toilets reasonable. Would advise a clean due to dirty people just spilling toilet paper.

We were on vacation and found this place. Mega location (you can already see it from outside), super delicious food & the service is very courteous. When we come back to Hamburg we will come back. Thanks for the great experience

Vi bestilte lasagne. En ret lille portion, vi skulle på Burger King efterfølgende for at blive mætte. Desuden troede vi, at det var en vegetar lasagne vi havde fået serveret, men der var trods alt en lille smule kød i. Retten bestod af 80 % ost kombineret med pasta og tomatsovs. Som tilbehør et lille tørt stykke brød. Vil vi kommer her igen ? Nej, tak.
