Went there for schnitzel with 9 people last night. All I can say is: super tasty and an excellent price/performance ratio. It was schnitzel day and all schnitzels cost €13, but I would also pay the normal prices at any time. Clear recommendation.

Was there on Schnitzel Day on Wednesday. Super tasty schnitzel selection for €11.50 including side dishes. Highly recommended. Friday afternoon on September 6th 24 enjoyed a Räuber/Jägerschnitzel with chanterelles and champions with fried potatoes and a side salad for €13. It was super tasty again.

Well, large selection of dishes, friendly service... That's about it. The schnitzels are actually cut and not pounded. However, what is prepared in the kitchen as sauces lacks any skill. Tasteless convenience and excessively greasy, which leads to a “resounding effect” on site. I don't want to make a recommendation

We had dinner there last Sunday around lunchtime. I had a Hungarian-style schnitzel. My wife had a Schweidemedallion on Tost. The schnitzel and the pork medallion were both completely cooked and tough, just cutting the meat was borderline difficult, you really had to chew something to get it down. But the HARD CASE is, when I told the waiter that the meat was too tough, she just said THAT CAN'T BE THE SCHNITZEL WAS CUT FROM THE TOP SHELL. And what's more, she's been running the restaurant for over 50 years and she knows what she's doing. We go out to eat once or twice a month. We are of the opinion that you should answer the question "did it taste good" honestly, something can always go wrong when preparing a meal. It's better that the restaurateur knows that something wasn't good, so he can only improve. But such a stupid answer dar meat was from the upper sound it can't be tough. And above all, she has been running the restaurant for over 50 years, The woman didn't look that old at all. WE WILL NEVER GO TO THE KNIGHT AGAIN!!!

Food tasted good. Just expensive. Had schnitzel with asparagus. There were 4 sticks of asparagus and a small schnitzel. Over €20 for that. Then we ordered mayonnaise to go with the fries. This was delivered after the children had finished eating.

Were visiting someone and then came here. If the restaurant wasn't so far away, we would come more often. Price/performance unbeatable. Very tasty and sufficient. We recommend!

A real insider tip for me as a Salzufler. The food is absolutely fresh and sooooo delicious!!! Very warm service - you have a real feel-good package there! Such a lovely family that puts all their love and passion into it. This is consistently noticeable every time you visit and is truly special. Rarely have we experienced such friendly service! A great, family-run restaurant with down-to-earth, very good cuisine. In my opinion, it's too cheap for the service provided. The selection of food is huge, even if I would have liked olives and similar 'bells and whistles', there is enough choice for every taste and budget. Due to its location, it is visited by many spa guests who often 'just' come to drink and show little understanding of the fact that you cannot maintain a restaurant with the sales of a few beers. You can't please everyone. I felt comfortable and welcome. Thank you for that & keep it up! :)

Unfortunately you can't give a 0-star rating, one star is still far too many!!!! Today we were at Ritter with several people... what can I say, I've never experienced anything like that before. The schnitzel was way too thick and tough, plus a sauce from the package with canned mushrooms. The fries ran past the salt. The fried potatoes were left in the pan far too short, but with far too much fat. The toasts weren't tossed... when we asked how we liked it, we said how it was. The waitress/GF simply reacted rudely. It couldn't have happened at all and he denied everything. Said stroppy "I'll bring the bill straight away". You continued to talk normally with your friends, she intervened again, you should tell her directly and not gossip behind your back. Sorry that we continue to talk normally. Then we only heard about another condition: they wouldn't get a drink anymore... we wouldn't have left any more money than necessary. None of us have ever experienced such a reaction to friendly criticism. In my opinion, the manager and the chef failed in their job. You can't show that kind of behavior in front of your guests. Just unprofessional. Absolutely no recommendation and you will never see us again. I'd rather drop my money down the drain, at least I can hear it plop!!!

I was at lunch today. With the family there, my wife is currently in rehab. So the food there was so delicious 😋 and everything was freshly made and this for the prices for the great dishes. I can really only recommend this restaurant. That was great and great

Unfortunately, the lack of staff in the catering industry also has consequences here! At 8:40 p.m. we were forced to leave and weren't given any more drinks because the waitress had to "get up again at 5 o'clock" and we had "sat there for 3 hours and hadn't ordered anything despite several requests." Also presented in a sloppy manner, it was an impertinence considering the fact that 6 people ordered and paid for a schnitzel dish and a drink and some also ordered a second drink. By the way, opening times are stated until 10 p.m.! When we asked about our anger when we paid, the waitress said she didn't care! (original sound). Such a cheeky response to a legitimate comment, how weak! Did the lady think we were all spa guests and would never come back? Far from it, all Salzufler. Just sad!

I visited this great restaurant several times when I was in rehab in Bad Saluflen. All I can say is: Great 👍 Very familiar - friendly - food simply delicious. Very tasty schnitzel with wild mushroom sauce. For the expectations: the schnitzels are not pounded. They are thick and juicy. I liked it and will come back.

Top! Good, down-to-earth cuisine, just like you would find in restaurants from earlier times. Very good quality, very warm and familiar. Dad is still standing in the kitchen making schnitzel! It has become our regular restaurant. You can hardly find anything like this anymore.

Went there for dinner today with 4 people, the food was okay but nothing more. The fried potatoes were only lukewarm, meat was okay, service was nice. Price was very good. All in all it wasn't more than okay.

Wir waren heute ohne Reservierung da, haben aber dennoch sofort einen Tisch bekommen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat uns sehr zügig bedient, obwohl das Lokal gut besucht war. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und auch das Preisniveau ist absolut fair. Gut gefallen hat uns auch, dass für Kinder kleine Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten vorhanden sind. (z.B. Bücher oder Bilder zum Ausmalen) Man hat auch insgesamt gemerkt, dass Kinder willkommen sind, was wir toll finden. Fazit: Weiter so; wir kommen gerne wieder👍

Hallo, wir 4 Pers. waren echt überrascht, drei mal was anderes : 1 . Das Essen gut ,reichlich ,vielfältige und Preis-Leistung waren voll in Ordnung . 2. Ambiente innen und außen ,mal eine andere Sitzgelegenheit . 3. Das Personal sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und gar nicht Mundfaul , reden auch mal über das und dieses, auch mal über die Essenszubereitung und das Essen ist anders leckerer Gewürzt. Dafür schon mal 👍. Wir kommen wieder , auch wenn es nur 120 km entfernt ist. Ach ja ,man sollte vorher sich einen Tisch reservieren lassen.( Es ist gut besucht)

Waren da nur um was zu Trinken. Sehr gemütlich man kann schön draußen sitzen.

Vorwort: Viele Punkte sind natürlich rein subjektiv beurteilt, da ich mich auf meinen Geschmack und mein Empfinden beziehe. Ich hoffe dennoch, ein relativ neutrales Bild zu vermitteln. Besonders erwähnenswert ist zudem, dass es dieses Lokal seit mehr als 50 Jahren gibt. Ambiente: 5 von 5 Das Lokal ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Es erinnert an ein Gasthaus im älteren Stil, wirkt aber nicht veraltet. Diverse Einrichtungsgegenstände und Fotos an den Wänden vermitteln einem weniger das Gefühl in einem Restaurant zu sein, sondern viel mehr in einer offenen, lockeren Gesellschaft, wie beispielsweise bei der Familie oder bei Freunden. Zudem ist der Gastraum sehr sauber und ordentlich gehalten. Service: 5 von 5 Abgerundet wird dieses Gefühl durch den Service. Bis dato habe ich noch nie jemanden im Service erlebt, der seinen Job mit solch einer Hingabe, Freude und Liebe macht. Auch im Punkto Schnelligkeit ist der Service erstklassig, sowohl in der Bedienzeit als auch in der Gehgeschwindigkeit. Der Service ist wirklich schnell unterwegs, wirkt aber nicht gehetzt. Auch die Zeit zwischen Bestellung und Servieren ist eher kurz. Wenn ein Service 5 Sterne verdient, dann in diesem Lokal. Essen: 5 von 5 Wir waren mit 3 Personen zu Gast und hatten 2x Schnitzel und 1x Steak, wovon ich ein Schnitzel gegessen habe. Die Schnitzel und das Steak hatten eine gute Größe. Vor allem die Schnitzel waren recht dick (ca. 10mm+ ), aber sehr zart und saftig. In meinem Fall war das Schnitzel mit Schinken belegt und Käse überbacken, getoppt von einem Spiegelei/Setzei. Dazu etwas Salat und Pommes. Die Panierung war optimal gewürzt und das gesamte Essen war alles in allem absolut stimmig. Selbst das Salatdressing passte geschmacklich zu den anderen Geschmackskomponenten ohne dominant hervorzustechen. Die Portionsgröße war meines Erachtens sehr gut. Ich war satt, aber nicht übersättigt. Preis: Inklusive eines Getränks war der Preis pro Person bei ca. 20€. Ein Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Fazit: Wenn man in der Nähe von Bad Salzuflen ist, lohnt sich ein kleiner Umweg meiner Meinung nach auf jeden Fall.

Donnerstag ist schnitzeltag. Wer das verpasst ist selber schuld. Tischreservierung unbedingt erforderlich

Essen war Lecker und heiß, Mitarbeiter waren zuvorkommend. Einziges Manko, sie bieten keine Kartenzahlung an.

Wir waren das erste Mal recht spontan mit unserer kleinen Tichter da. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Schnitzel in sämtlichen Varianten. Für unsere Tochter gab es eine Kinderkarte mit anschließenden Nachtisch. Sie wollte gerne zusätzlich Sauce Hollandaise. Auch das war kein Problem. Preis und Leistung passen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Gerne wieder!

Tolles Ambiente, Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Die Fischteller haben meinen Begleitern sehr gut gefallen. Ich hatte Jägerschnitzel. War mega lecker und so viele Champignons hatte ich noch nie bei einem Jägerschnitzel. Dazu waren es kleine, ganze Champignons. Dazu die Bratkartoffeln. Es war ein Traum.

Wir waren hier am Donnerstag zum Schnitzeltag....alle grossen Schweineschnitzel gibt es für günstige 11,5€. Das Ambiente draussen altdeutsch Massive Holzbänke und Tische die reichlich Platz im Schatten unter grossen Sonnenschirmen bieten.. eine freundliche Bedienung.. Das Essen war reichlich und schmackhaft.. Die Bratkartoffeln hätten in Dünneren Scheiben mehr Farbe benötigt ... ansonsten empfehlen

Wir haben heute im Biergarten gesessen und einen kleinen Snack zum Essen gefunden 🙂❣Die Karte bietet eine große Auswahl, für den kleinen und großen Hunger und Geldbeutel.Der Biergarten ist gemütlich.Das Essen war sehr lecker ,wir werden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen 🥰👍❣

Superleckere und große Schnitzelvariationen Auswahl.Sonderwünsche wurden berücksichtigt und das bestellte Steak war auf den Punkt gebraten und natürlich von der Qualität auch sehr gut.Der Appetit war zu groß darum gibts kein Foto😉
