Beer and Wine Tavern Kogge in Lübeck

When I was looking for a quiet, cozy restaurant for an extensive meeting, I thought of the “Kogge”. Years ago I was here often. Everything was familiar. The decor has remained the same, as has the quality of the food and the above-average service. We had three kinds of fish and ice cream for dessert. Everything tasted delicious and was beautifully prepared. Even though we stayed for a relatively long time, we never had the feeling that we were being disturbed.

The girl refused to serve us, citing the fact that 3 hours before closing on Wednesday (07.08) all the tables were reserved, although not a single person was in the tavern and there were no “Reserviert” signs on the tables either. We have been regular customers for 5 years and the staff have always been friendly. Nie wieder “Kogge”

Top service and very tasty food. Highly recommended are the shrimp pancakes and the fisherman's wedding with a Kerner Spätlese wine. The very friendly and competent service is excellent. We'd love to come back sometime.

I had the Kogge Leibling (sausages and French fries). It was exactly what I was looking for. Sausages (and the sauce) were outstanding. Comes with ~8 sausages on a skewer. Also had the prawn appetizer which wasn’t what I expected but still outstanding. Staff was super friendly. It wasn’t the deeply authentic experience I was originally looking for but it’s spot on for the tourist-friendly, local flavor, associated with the hotel vibe. Bonus plus points for not connecting through the lobby.

Very tasty 😋 and nice service. If we had known this yesterday, we wouldn't have had to walk so far through Lübeck 😉

Very good, diverse cuisine. In a dignified atmosphere, quiet dining. Update August 5th, 2023: The map has shrunk considerably, we went back there after a while and found a small but special map. But these dishes actually suit every taste. Price and performance are balanced. Although the weather was good, the airy indoor area and beautifully designed outdoor area were not very busy. This place doesn't really deserve that. Especially since the very friendly service, although alone, brought all the dishes to the table together and in a timely manner. There were five of us and we were able to start eating together. If you don't want to eat, you can also eat here in a cozy atmosphere. B. enjoy a wine and just relax. The selection of drinks is quite large. Here you can sit in the front row outside with a view of the Trave and watch the water sports enthusiasts. The view of the water is also largely unobstructed from the inside. We'd love to come back.

Wonderful food, menu a little bit limited (especially the desserts) but that said a very nice evening.

Sehr netter Kellner,der versucht uns mit 2 Schäfis in einem anderen Restaurant Teil unterzubringen, da dort fast Überall keine Hunde erlaubt sind

Wir waren soeben das erste Mal in der Kogge, definitiv jedoch nicht das letzte Mal. Das Essen war super lecker, die Zutaten frisch. Die Bedienung sehr höflich. Wir waren total überrascht, dass uns diese Lokalität über Jahre hinweg durchgerutscht ist. Aus aktuellem Anlass: Die Corona- Regeln werden eingehalten.

Leckere Hausmannskost zu angenehmen Preisen in einem maritimen urig/gemütlichen Ambiente. Freundliches Personal noch dazu.

Die Kogge passt sehr gut zum Lokal. Alles sehr hanseatisch eingerichtet. Die Speisen und Getränke sind hochwertig. Hier kann man lange verweilen und eine Becher Kaffee genießen

Gezellig restaurant onderin Radisson Blu Hotel. Gemengde visschotel was erg lekker en werd mooi opgediend. Het restaurant is wat minder formeel dan het Nautilo dat ernaast zit.

Es ist fast schon zu einem Ritual geworden, am Geburtstag unserer Mutter in die Kogge zu gehen. Gleich zu Beginn gibt es stets etwas Brot mit Kräuterquark und Schmalz. Das Essen ist fantastisch, da gibt es wirklich nichts auszusetzen und auch der Service ist toll. Einzig die Karte hat uns in diesem Jahr enttäuscht. Gefühlt wurden doch so einige Gerichte entfernt, so auch mein Lieblingsdessert. Dennoch werden wir auch im nächsten Jahr wieder in die Kogge gehen!
