I'm sorry. I prefer to write positive reviews. But given the many extremely positive reviews here, I unfortunately have to formulate a counterbalance. I ordered the mixed grill plate. This contains a chicken skewer, chicken steak, (supposedly) veal (fillet) and kofta (beef meatballs). The positive first: all the side dishes were good and I was pleasantly surprised by the kofta because it was very tasty. The large piece of cartilage inside wasn't so nice. The chicken, on the other hand, was relatively fibrous and fatty and the lamb was an absolute disaster. You could have driven a nail into the wall with the latter, it was that tough. The ambience itself is very nice for a kebab, but you can tell the ravages of time. Many chairs are old and scuffed. All in all, a meal for 23 euros that I wouldn't want to experience again. I can't understand the 4.8 out of 5 rating.

A special experience, I recommend to visit it.. The quantity is fair for the price, very tasty and there are great options inside the place, the atmosphere is nice and the place is really nice 😍

We got to know the restaurant through the voucher book and were very positively surprised by the delicious food and good service.

A great shop! It's great that something like this now exists in MD. It's an interesting mix of fast food (you order at the counter and it comes quickly) and restaurant (you can sit down comfortably, you pay after your meal). I think the interior design is great and the seats are so comfortable. The menu is varied and everything I've had so far has tasted great! The price-performance ratio is good. Takeout or delivery also works well. Employees are very friendly and also provide advice. Very good shop!

Unfortunately very disappointing. I had a kofta sandwich and received a baguette with mediocre sauces and meat mash or rather meat mash, instead of the well-known MINCED MEATBALLS that were also mentioned on the menu!!! NEVER AGAIN🤬😡🤮🤮

The people at Bay Kumpir are all really nice, super accommodating and always in a good mood! The food is really excellent, the sandwiches are super tasty and Kumpir tastes better than in Leipzig. Service is also great and the opening times are owl-friendly. :) Thank you for making Magdeburg a little bit better!

Today we stopped at Bay Kumpir with my wife. The location is very attractively decorated, so you'll want to linger there. The dishes are really absolutely delicious. A lot of things are homemade here and the love is in the details. The dishes are beautifully presented. The eye can definitely enjoy it here. By the way, the preparation was very quick. Great praise for the kitchen and service.

I haven't been there myself, but a dear friend of mine always brings me food when she goes to get it there. And it was always very, very good and filling. I will also go there in person soon.

Delicious! Service was very friendly and accommodating, food was prepared very freshly and quickly, large portions and it tasted incredibly good! Sitting inside and outside possible (weather permitting, there is an awning). What's great is that dishes can easily be veganized (€1 extra charge for vegan garlic or vegan cheese sauce). Was tried with the falafel kumpir and red bulgur salad and found it to be very tasty!

Went yesterday for the first time and ordered XL Kumpir. It was too big for me, but very tasty. We would love to come back to try other dishes

There were ten of us today, right at the opening and we were warmly welcomed. Ordering food and drinks was a bit hesitant. Unfortunately, it took about 45 minutes for everything to be served. But this may have been due to the large number of people - and it was announced that they were trying to get everything out at the same time so that everyone could eat together. But the wait was worth it. We had burgers, pide, kumpir and sandwich, a few fries/falafel. I myself had a Sucuk Pide that was so delicious!! Everyone in the group enjoyed their food. Why I deduct a star: 1. The waiting time 2. As a side dish I had chicken fries, which didn't suit my taste.

Very good selection of food, very tasty and large enough portions, food comes quickly, you feel comfortable (in winter the constant door opening makes it a bit fresh when you sit down), order at the table, payment only at the counter, dessert is baklava definitely recommend Kadayif

Kumpir tastes are different, unfortunately I didn't particularly like my version in Bay Kumpir. You didn't notice anything about butter and cheese, which were mixed with the contents of the baked potato and were supposed to melt. Actually, it looked more like someone had stuffed boring potato puree into hollowed-out potato peels... Toppings were plentiful, but some of them were drowning in sauce and were ice cold, so that the whole potato cooled down. The service was very nice and quick, the atmosphere is more like fast food, but okay. But Kumpir really is much better and tastier.

Overall, everything was good, but there wasn't adequate ventilation inside the restaurant. The portion size of the kumpir was too large for one person; in fact, one kumpir is enough for two people.

This is the first time I met Kumpir, which is actually a Turkish specialty baked potato. After eating it, I found it was really delicious, or maybe I was numb after eating it! In short, the Kumpir here is nutritionally balanced, rich in taste, low in price, served quickly, and you can eat it for only 10 yuan, so it’s a good review!

Yes, there was a 20 minute wait on a Saturday night, but the service was very friendly. You can choose your own combinations of flavors. Nice and bright hall, many visitors with children.

We ate here for the first time. The taste was very, very tasty. The service was very friendly. However, as the store became fuller, it was noticed that this led to delays in service (hence the deduction of a star). We found the prices to be reasonable and thanks to the gourmet block we only had to pay for one dish. All in all, a very successful visit that we would like to repeat 😊

We would have loved to spend a nice evening for the four of us at Bay Kumpir on the Hassel and we were really looking forward to it because we have a "4 for 2" voucher in the current gourmet block. However, that didn't happen at all because we were immediately told: "We won't do 4 for 2, the boss said so. Only 2 for 1!" greeted before we even sat down. When we asked why they offered it in a block but didn't stick to it, they just repeated "the boss definitely did." So we went and redeemed a voucher a few streets away and had a wonderful meal. That's not good advertising for the store, it's a shame! It is more than questionable whether we will ever redeem the 2 for 1 offer... Companies/restaurants are also obliged to adhere to the agreements! Reply to your cheeky reaction :-): "Hey Daniela, So there was no problem with the food or the problem that you can't get food for free? It's all about vouchers You can also explain this with slime block LG" The problem is that you do not adhere to the terms and conditions, which you are obliged to do when you work with Schlemmerblock (gutscheinbuch.de) - of course they are already informed about the incident. By the way, it's not free for the customer, as the block isn't on the city streets for free ;-)... but you'll probably know that if you've asked about it before working with us.

Unfortunately, there are no 0 stars for non-compliance with the terms and conditions. Anyone who tries to use the advantages they have acquired with the Schlemmerblock will unfortunately be rejected. Just because “the boss has decided” that 4 for 2 will no longer be done makes this legal. So last night we were unfortunately prevented from eating in this restaurant because we relied on the agreements that the owner made with www.gutscheinbuch.de and didn't have a second block with us. But even then, we would probably have lost our appetite due to the rude treatment. Well, sorry, we won't see each other again. Not even without a voucher.

Salads tasted quite sour, the toilet was full of vomit, "döner bread" was burger bread.

The staff has always been very friendly and up for a chat if you're willing. Ideal for both dinning in or take-out. The furniture is really cool and makes for a nice dinning experience.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal hier und wurden herzlich empfangen, trotz vieler Gäste. Unsere Kumpir haben wir sehr schnell bekommen. Eine fantastische Abwechslung zum gängigen Fast Food. Die Portion ist ordentlich, sodass wir Mädels es gar nicht geschafft haben. 😅Wir kommen auf jeden Fall ganz bald wieder. Alles rundum perfekt! Weiter so!

Das Ambiente war sehr schön. Auch der Service war gut. Aber das Essen, also das Wichtigste, war leider nicht so gut. Vieles hat so gewirkt, als ob es Fertigsachen sind. Für die durch aus hohen Preise erwarte ich was anderes.
