I recently visited this restaurant and was absolutely thrilled. The spaghetti carbonara was simply perfect: creamy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can tell the quality and experience they put into their work. The dessert was the crowning glory. Tiramisu with a twist, served in little balls with homemade café crema ice cream in the center. Super creative, incredibly delicious, and just the right balance of sweet and fresh. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere pleasant and relaxed. I'll definitely be back.

We stayed overnight at the Hotel Rose in Weissenburg today. Weissenburg has a very nice square in the old town with several restaurants. We chose the Italian restaurant Bauchgefühl (Bauchgefühl). And our gut feeling was right. We ate excellent veal liver Venetian style and calamari with vegetables. The portions were just the right size. Prices were absolutely reasonable and not exorbitant. The chef, a true Italian, treated us wonderfully. The service was outstanding, and the co-owner was there to serve us personally. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. We can recommend it at any time.

Ever since Franco started cooking here, it's been amazing. Italian cuisine at its finest. And Memo's service is simply top-notch. That's what was missing in Weissenburg. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Looking forward to next time. Mario

Sitting with friends at the Bauchgefühl restaurant. It's absolutely delicious. The new chef is fantastic. Carpaccio, pizza, pasta… so far, everything has tasted great.

Food may be good. I ordered for delivery. After an hour of waiting the order was canceled. I have no idea why there might be too much to do

Wenn man dort 15 Minuten im Außenbereich auf eine Bedienung wartet, wobei kein einziger Tisch weder innen noch außen besetzt ist, dann ins Lokal geht und niemand dort ist, auf unser Rufen nicht reagiert wird und nebenan im Zwischengang zwar eine Dame sitzt die aber nur mit dem Feilen ihrer Nägel beschäftigt ist und nicht reagiert, frage ich mich warum man so ein Lokal offenhält. Sehr, sehr schade für die tolle Lage. Eindeutig keine Empfehlung für Weißenburg.

Friday afternoon 2:30 p.m. The menu and seating in the outdoor area were inviting and we were happy to sit down. When no one was in sight after 10 minutes, we went into the restaurant and shouted loudly. Nobody to be seen, everything deserted. Through an intermediate passage you could see the hotel next door that belongs to it. There was a lady sitting there who was filing her nails extensively, taking in us with a glance, but then moving on to her fingernails without being disturbed. No reaction from her. I really wonder how something like this can be. ???? You should close the restaurant if there are no staff there. Maybe it's a good thing that we couldn't eat anything there, if there's no serving staff on site, then who makes the food...??? Impossible for the great city center location.

Inedible. Everything was bad and undercooked. It took almost 40 minutes to be served.

Delicious food and very friendly service. We were able to sample the weekend's grilled specialties, which were delicious (unfortunately, they weren't available 🙈)

(2 people, afternoon, 3:30 p.m., only one table next to us in the beer garden was occupied) We were dazzled by the beautiful ambiance and quickly browsed the menu. Based on the "supposedly" fair prices for the dishes on offer, coupled with the pictures on the menu, we decided to eat there. After we sat down, a waiter immediately came and took our drinks. After two more waitresses came back to ask questions, we still ended up with the wrong drinks. The food was no different. Some dishes were out of stock (salads, i.e., very simple dishes), or they were completely different from what was pictured/described, e.g., ham paninis or bruschetta. Likewise, the appetizer, which we had specifically ordered as an appetizer, was brought with the main course. Again, clear communication problems, as with the drinks. The icing on the cake came at the end when we ordered another large water (0.5l) and were again only given a small one, and we were told that was the last one left. FYI, we always ordered still water and always got mineral water. When we asked why, we were told that the still water was out. How can it be that in a restaurant of this "supposed class," water of all varieties is out? In the end, they even billed us incorrectly, but actually in our favor; we were charged for one drink less. I can well imagine whether this could also happen the other way around (as already reported in another review). Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it! I can't even imagine what it's like there when the place is full.

Actually a great location, but the service is really subpar. Poor communication. The wrong drinks were brought, despite repeated requests from the waitress, and we had to wait forever. Nobody came after that. Other guests got their drinks directly inside at the bar. “Asked” them to pay 3 times; They said someone would be sent straight away. When we asked again we suddenly said we had to go in to pay. We waited over half an hour for this and then the billing was incorrect.

From the outside, it looks great. The sign advertising homemade lemonade lured us in. On the menu, we found a whole page full of delicious waffles, which unfortunately weren't available. The drinks menu also showed the inflated prices—a real no-go. One small highlight worth mentioning was the homemade lemonade, which they surprisingly had, which was delicious, and the two very young waitresses were also very friendly.

GREAT simply GREAT!! The staff, great - nice, helpful, friendly, accommodating, in a good mood. The atmosphere is great - cozy and modern. The food - delicious, lovingly prepared, tasty, freshly prepared and delicious 😋 The food is absolutely delicious and the price is reasonable. The restaurant is part of the Hotel Rose in Weissenburg.

Food: Pasta in a microscopic portion. Supposedly with shrimp (plural) = I found exactly ONE! Fitness salad with beef strips and balsamic vinaigrette: ready-made salad with tiny fig pieces (not everyone likes it, it wasn't on the menu) and camembert pieces (fat camembert in the fitness salad???) Beef strips were completely missing and didn't come either. Instead of dressing, a cruet of vinegar and oil was put down. The worst salad ever! Homemade raspberry lemon lemonade: Taste like TriTop with toilet block. The waitresses couldn't speak a word of German. We tried to reorder the beef strips. Impossible. Gestures and “moo” brought a smile and the waitress disappeared. The pizzas were dry. All around a botched meal with friends and VERY EXPENSIVE!!! We are NEVER coming back. If there are no staff, it's better to close than to rip off guests at a high price. Tip: Around the corner at the Mexican restaurant Cancun we were kindly and attentively provided with delicious drinks and food!!!

When bad reviews are deleted via a lawyer's letter....!!! Such business methods say more than 1000 words. A lot of negative reviews from the last few months have been deleted!!!!! I stand by my statement, which is 100% true: Unfortunately, more appearance than reality... We actually thought: Finally a nice restaurant in Weissenburg that stands out from the everyday. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The menu on site is significantly smaller than the one displayed online (basically a small menu is enough for me...). Unfortunately the pizza was half burnt and very tasteless and you had to charge €8.90 for 4 slices of bruscetta... The outdoor table wobbled (and it wasn't due to the sloping surface). Overall, we expected much more and there is a lot of room for improvement! I will continue to repeat this statement, including citing witnesses. Anyone who needs such methods doesn't deserve it any other way!!!!

We only had one drink, nice ambience

Attentive and nice staff, but somehow little structure. The burgers were really tasty and good. Unfortunately my salad crunched a bit. The pasta was hard and looked lost on the plate. In the end, my non-alcoholic wheat was probably none either. All in all, unfortunately no further visit is favoured.

The homemade herbal lemonade was very tasty. There is still room for improvement when it comes to vegan burgers. The patty wasn't cooked properly and the wedges weren't salted. The service was a bit crazy, but very nice. Nice location, right in the middle of the old town.

Service was overloaded, there were some misunderstandings as communication was sometimes very difficult. Food was delicious.

Das beste ist das Logo und der Name. Für mich gibt es zuviele Kleinigkeiten, die mich davon abhalten, mich willkommen und wohl zu fühlen. Sei es ein etwas unaufgeräumter Gastraum, auch ein nicht sehr aufmerksames Personal trägt dazu bei. Das Essen war ok, aber sehr wenig. Die Karte ist sehr groß und läßt keine Linie erkennen, an der sich dieses Restaurant orientiert. Sehr schade, ich bin zum ersten mal in Weißenburg aber zum letzten Mal im Bauchgefühl.

Nettes Plätzchen zum verweilen. Die hausgemachte Limonade war wirklich lecker und der Cappuccino gut. Das Personal war sehr nett. Wir kommen wieder…

Top Nahrungsverkäufer, optisch wie oral lecker!

Sind mit einer guten Erwartung hier hingegangen, doch leider lief viel schief, das im Vorfeld nicht kommuniziert wurde. Die Wartezeit für die Getränke war grenzwertig. Es darf nicht sein, dass der eine Gast eine Zitronenscheibe im Wasser hat und der andere nicht. Auch wenn der Koch krank ist, gibt es für kaltes Essen, das nicht fertig ist, keine Ausrede. Die Kruste vom Schäuferle war labbrig und das Fleisch war nicht ganz durchgegart. Die Kinderschnitzel sind beinahe so groß wie die Riesenschnitzel. An mancher Stelle war die Panade schwarz und bitter, die Pommes waren labbrig. Es gibt auch Positives: das Ambiente innen.

Tolle Lage und gutes Essen. Die Zubereitung hat etwas lange gedauert.

Gutes Essen, netter Service, der auch einen Fehler ausgebügelt hat, ohne zu meckern. Wartezeit war völlig in Ordnung und der Kellner hat wegen einer größeren Gruppe im Gastraum nachgefragt, ob wir eventuell länger wamüssten, was dann nicht der Fall war. Draußen sitzt man recht schön..

Sehr nette Bedienung und super leckeres Essen. Der Salat hatte eine tolle Soße und meine Nudeln mit Garnelen waren frisch, selbstgemacht und einfach lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Lecker Essen und aufmerksame Bedingungen. Es gibt auch genug Plätze mit Schirmen zum Draußen sitzen bei gutem und sonnigen Wetter. Gut ist die wechselnde Wochenkarte - diese ergänzt umfangreich die Standardkarte die auch im Internet einsehbar ist. Ein kurzer Hinweis, der uns nicht gestört hat, ist, dass man "gefühlt" etwas länger auf sein Essen wartet als es in einem Restaurant dieser Art in der Regel der Fall ist. Zum Essen sollte man als Appetit und keine Hektik mitbringen.

Endlich ein besonderes Restaurant in Weißenburg indem man nicht nur 0815-Speisen angeboten bekommt. Wir waren begeistert von dem tollen Konzept und kommen gerne wieder 🥰

Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal freundlich. Durch Übernachtung im Hotel Rose zudem noch 10% Rabatt bekommen. Bei schönem Wetter kann man auch draußen sitzen. Alles in allem können wir das Restaurant empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Nur bei der Kühlung des Weißweins wären ein paar Grad kühler besser. Ansonsten sehr nette Bedienung, junges Team und nette Aussengastronomie. Empfehlenswert.

Sehr nettes Personal, super freundlich, modern, locker. Hausgemachte Limonade himmbere - Zitrone war ein Gaumenschmaus. Salat mit scampis war sehr lecker, frisch und perfekt angerichtet. Das Curry war auch mega lecker. Ein wirklicher Geheimtipp ein Besuch wird jedem ein wirklich glückliches Bauchgefühl bereiten.

Haben dieses tolle Restaurant zufällig gefunden und unser Ostermontagmittagessen dort gegessen bzw. extrem genossen! Das beste Steak und eines der besten Schnitzel! Was ein Glücksgriff. Service war auch sehr gut, wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Wir kommen wieder!!! Herzlichen Dank.

Bedienung absolut nett, Küche hat etwas länger gebraucht, Nachspeise (Crepe flambiert mit Sauerkirschen) kann gegen Abend schon aus sein. Trotzdem volle Punktzahl und eine Empfehlung von mir

Heute zum ersten Mal Kunde. Das Restaurant liegt sehr schön in Mitten von Weißenburg und hat ein ansprechendes Interieur. Der Kuchen war selbstgemacht und wirklich sehr gut. Einen kleinen Abzug gibt es, dass der Service sehr freundlich war, aber doch immer mal wieder kleinere Sachen vergessen hat. Wir werden jedoch wieder kommen und das Mittag- oder Abendessen ausprobieren.

Schönes Restaurant mit gemütlich, moderner Atmosphäre mitten in der Altstadt. Das Essen hat eine tolle Qualität und ist super lecker. Das Personal ist unglaublich nett und auch die Cocktails kann man sehr empfehlen.
