The store used to be good, but those days are probably long gone. Either someone is resting on their laurels, or the ownership has changed here. Today we have been here again for years. Unfortunately it was a complete disappointment. The Dürüm is simply a limp, cold rag. The meat is okay, but could have been much crispier. The salads have no taste and the only sauces to choose from were tzatziki and cocktails. The ambience is the most uncomfortable I've experienced in a long time - the operating room light is more comfortable there. The absolute height was a sign with the note: “If there is a lot going on, it may be that our employees cut the meat down too early and it is not completely cooked through - please point this out to the employee.” You can't be serious 😂? The best thing I can do is make the kebab myself. Then there would be least love in it. Unfortunately the service here wasn't good either. Everything has to happen quickly, even though there wasn't much going on in the store. I can really only advise against a visit. Too bad!

I've been eating kebab here for 30 years. It used to be much better and more familiar when they were a small shop. Very tasty kebab and other dishes too. Sometimes very expensive. The service is very bad. The kebab men in particular are very unfriendly. This may be because some of them don't speak German. But you feel like a burden when you stand there and order something.

Super friendly, super fast, but unfortunately the quality wasn't convincing. We weren't the only ones at lunchtime, so the meat was well done but not really well seared. Unfortunately, the sauce at the bottom of the box was probably bland due to the number of orders. Maybe it's better when there's less going on.

We ordered a kebab and made a not of the price , the food was very basic and when the bill came out they had added 300 lira to each dish. When confronted they brought out a menu that has the the prices on, so they have 2 sets of menus and will rip you off. The lower price is on the menu outside so they are fooling themselves. Terrible.

Döner plate for 12 euros with chicken. The meat is very tasty and it comes with tzatziki and salad. Unfortunately, the red cabbage was a bit older and quite bitter. The flatbread that comes with it is generous, but doesn't have that much flavor. It was very smoky and it felt like the ventilation for the kebab skewers wasn't turned on. I liked it there better before.

All is good. Most important things is food quality and is excellent. Portions is large.

The guest must clear away and dispose of plates including leftover food themselves. Cleanliness of tables could be improved. Aprons would be recommended for counter staff. Conclusion: mixed... you don't necessarily have to go.

The worst I've had in a long time. The bread is simply a thick pancake with no salt or any flavor. The meat is tough and mushy. The kebab tasted like nothing, really nothing at all. The store itself is like a train station, pure check-in. You won't be asked what kind of meat you want or what should go in it. There is no communication with customers at all. The staff is unfriendly, no hello or goodbye. The flatbreads are held on the kebab skewer with your bare hands to get the thing a little warm. The atmosphere is uncomfortable. The Dürüm is overpriced. Only cash is accepted here and the location of the store says it all. Absolutely not recommended.

Taste 3/5 - not special I felt like I was eating more bread than meat

I have been a satisfied customer of your kebab shop for years and appreciate the quality of your products. Unfortunately, I have recently noticed that the quality of the kebab has noticeably decreased. On [4/23/24] I bought a jumbo chicken kebab. Unfortunately some of the meat was almost raw and not edible. I also wasn't able to finish the kebab because I felt sick. Furthermore, the pieces of meat were not uniformly thick and large. I was disappointed that when I made a complaint on site, I was neither offered a new product nor was my money refunded. Instead, I was put off with the explanation that this was normal with homemade skewers.

The most disgusting restaurant I've ever seen was where I ate yesterday and I've had total stomach problems since the evening. The fries were totally unsalted and not because of the schnitzel that I had on my plate was totally burnt. The toilets smell bad of chlorine but were dirty once and never again...

Not recommendable. I was in Hamburg with a colleague on April 20th, 2024 and we wanted to eat a kebab. Then we decided to come here, one of our biggest mistakes. Not only did I not get full and am €12 poorer, they got my order wrong. I ordered a veal donner plate that I can't tolerate chicken and I said so. When my kebab plate was made, although they often asked about the type of meat, they made a mistake - they put chicken on my plate instead of veal. When I saw this I asked if they could start a new plate, but they didn't. The gentleman turned around and acted as if he was taking down the chicken meat, but only put veal meat on top. Unfortunately I only noticed this when I was sitting, but I thought there wouldn't be as much chicken in it. I removed the chicken pieces one by one but it didn't get any better. When I got up to eat, they took my plate and added a little more veal to the top. When I sat down again and wanted to start eating, I noticed that there was a lot of chicken in there. When I removed almost every piece and wanted to start eating, it was cold and I could only enjoy 1-2 bites until the kebab plate became inedible. That was the last time I came here, if you want to eat kebab, go somewhere else.

It's a real shame, the kebab was boring and didn't taste like anything. The kebab was cold and the sauce didn't taste good. Never again....

Best Dürum in Northern Germany in my opinion

I once bought a kebab from Batman in Steindamm and your kebab smelled like sweat. That was really unedible. Please don't buy if you wouldn't eat your sweat!!!

Delicious Durum Döner, but there was less meat than what you would normally get in other places.

The Chicken Dürüm at Batman is simply legendary when it comes to this product alone; the Dürüm with chicken kebab. Of course there is also veal kebab here but I was never really interested in it. The price is absolutely right for what you get. The Dürüm dough is prepared several times a day and you can taste it. Please never forget a splash of lemon juice and Pulbiber, they simply belong in there. Small suggestion for improvement, put fresh lemon on it instead of the plastic bottle. After all, the eye is with you. Then there are 5 stars from me.

The 'Batman Restaurant' has been around since 1993. It is particularly famous for its Dürüm kebab in expanded flat bread. The flat bread is prepared on a pan. It tastes incredible!!!

First the cashier without giving notice, then after an hour we received kebab!! If there is a lot of traffic and volume, it is advisable to first ask at the checkout how long it will take, otherwise you could find yourself stuck waiting up to two hours for your kebab. There is a lack of a clear concept, everyone pushes through like a beggar with the piece of paper they received at the checkout. It's a chaotic mess until you finally receive your kebab. The organization is completely inadequate.

The atmosphere of the store is very classic, cleanliness is unfortunately mediocre, but still OK. But it's not a restaurant where you would go for dinner with someone, but that's not how the concept is designed, although there are probably more than 120 seats. Ich bin seit vielen Jahren Stammkunde dorthin, hab dort immer gerne Dönerteller oder Jumbo-Dürüm bestellen, seit paar Monaten ist Preis enorm gestiegen, was es ok ist, aber gleichzeitig auch Portion viel weniger geworden (sehr sparsam mit Fleisch usw.). Damals kriegte ich Jumbo Dürüm gut dick und schwer, heute kriege ich 7€ Dürüm wie normale Dürüm. Da erwarte ich eigentlich richtig dick und schwer was ich in Ordnung finde, leider nicht der Fall! Das finde ich schade, da bin ich dorthin sehr gerne gegessen… Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis hat heute leider nie mehr gepasst.

Dürüm schmeckt in Ordnung, aber nichts besonderes. Schade aber, dass sich das Personal arrogant, unfreundlich und unhilfsbereit verhält. Ein Lächeln sucht man beim Personal vergebens.

Der Dürum ist dort der einzige Grund warum man hingehen sollte! Pro: Die machen ihren Dürum Brot selber und es schmeckt wirklich gut. Sie haben 4 Spieße von daher braucht ihr euch keine Sorgen machen ^^ -Soll Helal sein laut den Contra: -Sie setzen nicht auf Aussehen (Look: Kantine) -Sie machen inzwischen in der Woche früher zu. Einfach dieses Fleisch! Wow. Preis Leistung top, Personal sehr freundlich. Es ist sauber und es schmeckt wirklich hervorragend! Niewirder werde ich woanders einen dürüm essen!
