Terrible and rude service at the counter

I wanted to order take away and some waiter was extremely rude and said I was standing in the way. There is nowhere to wait and the employees are always trying to squeeze past you. No recommendation Very uncomfortable. Doner tastes ok

We ordered where we were staying. The service was very fast. But on the first call, they kept redirecting me to another friend. They were friendly though. I deducted 1 point from the food because even though I said I didn't want Eisberg 3 times, they put it on all of them. Would I choose it again? Yes! It was quite delicious.

I was just there. A very arrogant waiter brought the menu first and said arrogantly because I chose soup from the menu; “You didn’t have to ask about the menu for soup,” he said. When I then wanted to pay the bill, he was bothered by the fact that I wanted to pay by card. It's really a pity that he was served by very arrogant waiters. And this wasn't the first time, the last time I came here was four months ago. When I checked the last three times after paying the bill, I found that the waiter had added at least two euros more to the account. I think they take tips without asking, in their opinion it's literally cheating. I have also seen them talk negatively and hurtfully about customers behind their backs, saying they are problematic. Yes, the food is delicious and beautiful, but since there are very arrogant waiters, this time is the last time and you can keep these in mind when you go. It made me very sad to see such terrible service at a place that serves such good food. I hope this gets fixed as soon as possible.

We ordered there and it was the worst kebab I've ever eaten. It just tasted like fat, the food came cold and just rancid. I wouldn't do it again.

It's my favorite place to grill

I ordered my kebab, 12 other people received their kebab after me, i.e. it was to take away. I was always excused for 30 minutes but no kebab. I didn't care why I had to pay 10 euros after waiting forever. It's rare to see something so disorganized. The area is absolutely terrible, the ambience has rocked down. If the kebab wasn't for my wife, I would have skipped eating it.

SCAM!! I bought two Dürüm kebabs and he had put things out for me that I didn't ask for, so I called back to complain about the mistake and he told me he would send me another one, and after about two Hours later I called back to inquire and he told me that they had been delivered but I have not received anything and have not seen anyone. They robbed me 😡 😡

On the stone dam you feel like you are in the Orient. The food at As Urfa rounded off this visit.

Due to the good reviews near the train station, the kebab was tested here. Finally real veal from a spit without an excessive amount of minced meat. Unfortunately, I wasn't asked what type of salad I wanted on the kebab. This is definitely not good. For €7, the amount of meat is not appropriate in my opinion. The doner kebab walk-in customers are actually just processed here. Therefore only three stars.

I arrived at the central parking lot at 2 am. The parking lot is closed. Wait until 6:30 am. I found the only cafe that had excellent reviews and was open until 5:40 am. It was very scary to walk among the dirty streets. There are drug addicts and beggars everywhere. I came to the cafe, ate deliciously, and warmed up with tea. I sat there for 3.5 hours. Thank you very much to the people who work in this wonderful establishment. I really wasn’t scared with them and I calmly survived the night until the morning bus. I am very glad that I chose this cafe)

The food doesn't taste good for a kebab it takes 30 minutes and the waiters are rude and take the wrong order if you pass on a kebab request to an incompetent waiter and he passes it on to the lazy kebab man at the front who has been looking at the meat for 20 minutes then it can be done do not go well

Very, very tasty Super friendly and helpful

I walked by this place on the way back to my hotel after work and saw charcoals and meat on a stick and knew I had go in. I had the spicy lamb and it was very good. Very juicy and flavorful, though it could have been spicier. The star of the show though were the sauces in the picture. The red salsa looking one was sooo good. It was definitely made with fresh ground spices because it just exploded with flavor. The cheese dip was also amazing. The dense but soft bread definitely worked well with dipping into those. The waiter was so friendly and warm. It felt like he was personally welcoming me into his restaurant. He referred to the food as Kurdish, not Turkish, so a slightly different take on that region's cuisine. Overall A+ experience for me.

The food was great as always, only the waiter (older gentleman) on the top floor was very unfriendly at the end because we couldn't give him much tip, he gave the tip back, we gave it back to him. I don't know how much his expectation came true. We would have to pay a lot for the food. The waiter didn't even say goodbye to us, his looks were just mean.

I was there with my family on Saturday. The service was extremely unfriendly. The waiter spoke to my mother in such a disrespectful tone. When we placed our order, he pulled the menu out of my sister's hand as she wanted to look for dessert! My sister, a grown-up young woman!!! Our food was served relatively promptly after we ordered. The portions were very small! So I thought I had a children's plate in front of me. I had to wait forever for my fries, which felt like a handful. During the meal the light went out several times and we were literally sitting in the dark! When we wanted to pay we had to wait forever. I had to keep pointing out that we wanted to pay. Conclusion: you could once visit this restaurant with your family, but those were the days. Waiters should treat their customers more respectfully. For us it was the last time here.

We are currently in Hamburg for a short trip. After a very long day we decided to stop here. We were warmly welcomed when we entered the restaurant and the service was also very friendly. Food was really really good. Price-performance ratio really good. All in all, I can recommend the restaurant :)

Very tasty food and very filling. Bread and salad beforehand and some tea afterwards. Extremely friendly staff. The plastic plants should be refreshed again, you can almost grow vegetables here because of all the dust 😉

Unfortunately no longer recommended. I wanted to swap bulgur for fries on the kebab plate. I was told it wasn't possible. Then I wanted to take something else. Then the gentleman said it's okay with fries. Got my kebab plate without bulgur and fries. After I asked, I got fries in exchange for attention! - 6 euros extra charge. In the end a kebab plate with fries cost me 22 euros... Quality? Unfortunately, a foreign word. Dry meat, expensive and unfriendly. A few years ago Urfa was a hit in Hamburg. Unfortunately not anymore today... What a shame

I rarely felt like I was an enemy when buying kebab. The "boss" who served us was so rude, I hope he's okay. I don't want to say anything about the food because neither my Dürüm nor my colleague's kebab had sauce on it. That was just part of my adventure in the "Kebab Land of Nightmares", but you're welcome to try it out for yourself if you like it.

The veal in my kebab bag was super crispy and well seasoned. Definitely the best doner meat I've ever eaten. The bread was nice and crispy and the portion was large compared to other “normal” kebabs. Sauces very tasty and well distributed. I can only highly recommend it

The employees are very unfriendly. They got the order wrong and were still rude to us. I will never go there again and will never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

If you are Turkish, they want you to pay in cash, but if you are a foreigner, there is no problem. He gave the reason: "half of it goes to taxes." Even though the restaurant is in Germany, the mentality is still Turkish.

I recently ordered a grill plate for one person after a long day at work. 1.5 hours after eating I vomited and had diarrhea for over 2 days. Since I hadn't eaten anything all day, I'm assuming it came from the grill. Conclusion. I won't be ordering anything there again.

Great Turkish food, very tasty grill plate for 4 people was easily enough for 6. Staff very friendly. Definitely again the next time you visit the Hansa Theater.

Food is top Ambience not that nice

The service was absolutely first class - the staff were extremely friendly, attentive and made every guest feel welcome. The positive energy and commitment of the team really made my visit special. Now about the food – it was simply perfect! Every dish demonstrated high quality, creativity and attention to detail. The flavors were exquisite and the presentation of the dishes reflected the care put into each preparation.

The food is very good, we ordered kelle paça soup and mixed kebab, it is really good in terms of price-performance, the free tea service after the meal is very good. The waiters were very fast and friendly, the food came very quickly even though it was crowded)

Were in Hamburg for a few hours. We got hungry and ended up in As Urfa. Have ordered Dürüm. It was okay for a small appetite... average.

Das Hauptgericht sah zwar optisch appetitlich aus, aber geschmacklich hat mich das nicht so sehr überzeugt. Das Fleisch hatte einen unangenehmen Nebengeschmack, was ggf. am verwendeten Lammfleisch lag. Die Aubergine war geschmacklich neutral und rundete das Gericht nicht erwartungsgemäß ab. Die Künefe als Dessert war lecker, jedoch waren mehr Teigfäden (Engelshaar) im Produkt verarbeitet und zu wenig von der Käsefüllung. Service war wie immer nett und aufmerksam. Ich bleibe künftig u.a. beim Adana, dass schmeckt mir bei Urfa nämlich am besten.

Sehr guter Döner. Tee gibts immer umsonst dazu. Alles lecker und hausgemacht. Service freundlich. Parkplatz vor der Tür. Lange Öffnungszeiten. Einfach top!

Döner und Dürüm mit Abstand das schlechteste was ich bis jetzt gegessen habe. Die Kellner waren alle nett und herzlich! Die Toilette ist grauenhaft eklig, keine Seife. Beim Händetrockner wachsen schon jede Art Pilze

Bekanntes Restaurant am Steindamm. Die Mitarbeiter sind hier freundlich. Das Fleisch schmeckt ganz gut. Im Inneren des Restaurants ziemlich dunkel, was das Ambiente beeinträchtigen kann. Die Preise tendieren dazu, eher hoch zu sein im Vergleich zu anderen türkischen Restaurants in verschiedenen Stadtteilen.

Various vegetarian/vegan options 🌱 Waiters are very hospitable, food was good. The portions of everything, especially the drinks were enormous, so we could hardly finish half of everything, which felt a bit wasteful. However, very good value for your money!

Schade war früher deutlich besser, Dürüm besteht mittlerweile nur noch aus Fleisch und Salat, kaum/keine Tomaten etc. Insbesondere am späteren Abend leider keine gute Qualität mehr...

Tender lamb chops! Juicy grilled chicken! You can just taste the yummy spices until the bone! Ended up with licking fingers! They served them with salads and bread. Friendly service. Nice and clean restaurant, maybe one of the best in the area. Too bad they didn't serve the free Turkish tea in the end of the meal, I miss and was expecting that a lot actually 😄

Das Essen war enttäuschend und der Kellner hat meine Bestellung falsch verstanden, ein teures Gericht gegeben, und dann hat er sich noch nicht Mal entschuldigt und ich musste für sein Fehler bezahlen. Es war nicht schlimm, aber es geht um den Prinzip. Früher war der Laden viel besser. Doch, das Künefe hier ist echt Lecker.
