Sehr zu empfehlen! Das Essen schmeckt super, die vegetarische/vegane Auswahl ist groß und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Auf meine „Sonderwünsche“ aufgrund von Schwangerschaft wurde verständnisvoll eingegangen. Im Sommer sitzt es sich draußen besonders schön.

Die veganen Bowls waren lecker, obwohl die Kartoffeln darin nicht richtig durchgegart waren.

Hochwertige asiatische Küche, vor allem für den Preis. Ich bestellte Hanoi Mule und war begeistert vom Ingwer. Die Sommerrollen mit Hühnchen waren köstlich, ebenso die Erdnusssauce. Auch das Bun Bo Nam Bo war perfekt: frisch, leicht und trotzdem sättigend an einem heißen Tag. Dazu ein Wasser. Alles zusammen für 30 Euro. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, und es gibt Sitzplätze im Freien in einer ruhigen Straße. Auch ein Besuch kurz vor Ladenschluss ist problemlos möglich. Kartenzahlung ist möglich, Bargeld wird aber bevorzugt.

Sehr lecker, freundlicher Service. Und im Sommer kann man draußen sitzen.

Authentisch, frisch und einfach köstlich! Wir haben im Batho wunderbar gegessen. Was sofort auffällt: Alles wird im Haus zubereitet, und das schmeckt man. Keine Massenware der üblichen Fusionsküche, sondern Gerichte mit Charakter, frisch und liebevoll angerichtet. Die vietnamesische Küche und das japanische Sushi ergänzen sich perfekt, und die Aromen sind absolut authentisch. Die Atmosphäre ist warm und einladend – genau das, was man sich von einem Restaurant in der Nachbarschaft wünscht, das sein Handwerk versteht. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und empfehlen das Batho jedem, der in Friedrichshain nach authentischer, mit Liebe zubereiteter Küche sucht.

Die Brötchensuppe ist wirklich lecker!

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Das Sushi ist frisch gemacht und der Mango Salat ist wirklich einmalig. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend & aufmerksam. Kann ich nur empfehlen, wir kommen sehr häufig her.

Wir sind sehr spontan im Batho gelandet, quasi im Vorbeilaufen. Sehr schönes Ambiente, wir konnten auch gut draußen sitzen. Sehr guter und sympathischer Service und eine schöne Speisenauswahl. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut, die Preise sind im mittleren Bereich und es war wirklich sehr lecker 😋

Komme seit ca. 3 Jahren regelmäßig hierher und fahre dafür öfter Mal über 30 Minuten…sagt eigentlich schon alles 😄 das Essen ist immer top, super frisch und richtig lecker. Es gibt super viele vegane und vegetarische Gerichte, kann ich absolut empfehlen. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und gemütlich und auch der Service ist jedes Mal mega freundlich und aufmerksam. Preis-Leistung passt auch total. Für mich definitiv ein Lieblingsspot ☺️

Meine Freundin sagte ganz klar, dass sie scharfes Essen nicht verträgt, und als sie es dann spürte, meinten sie, das sei in Ordnung. Es war selbst für mich wirklich sehr scharf.

Der Abend in diesem Restaurant war wirklich sehr schön. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und gemütlich, was sofort für gute Stimmung sorgte. Das Essen war äußerst lecker, alles frisch zubereitet und sehr geschmackvoll. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Insgesamt war es ein wunderbarer Abend mit köstlichem Essen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Essen war sehr lecker, aber im Restaurant war sehr kalt. Das Mittagessen im Mantel und mit Schal zu essen war sehr ungemütlich...Also im Winter lieber wo anders gehen und nicht frieren.

Wir sind eher zufällig im Batho gelandet – und wurden positiv überrascht. Das Essen hat uns wirklich überzeugt, alles war sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll zubereitet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Tee „Botanical Garten“: unglaublich lecker und perfekt für einen kalten Winterabend. Auch der Nachtisch war ein Highlight – sehr ästhetisch angerichtet und geschmacklich genauso gut. Insgesamt ein rundum schönes Erlebnis, wir kommen gern wieder.

Sehr gute Bowls und Getränke. Die (wahrscheinlich) Besitzer waren leider etwas laut mit ihren Handys, aber nett. Wen sowas nicht stört, ist hier richtig :)

Wir waren hungrig und wussten nicht, wo wir essen sollten. Da fiel uns Batho ins Auge. Wir gaben dem Restaurant eine Chance und haben es nicht bereut. Was für ein leckeres Susi! Die Odun-Schüssel, die Pho – alles war einfach köstlich, würzig und superlecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Musik hat uns total begeistert!

Die Bedienung war schnell, Eiskaffee und Saté waren wirklich lecker!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Batho und hatten beide die Batho Bowl – und was soll ich sagen: einfach köstlich! Die Garnelen, die Aromen, alles war perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Ein echtes Gedicht für den Gaumen. Dazu kommt ein unglaublich freundliches und zuvorkommendes Team, bei dem man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Wir kommen definitiv immer wieder – allein schon wegen dieser Bowl!

Ich bin etwa 20 Minuten in der eisigen Kälte gelaufen und habe von einer warmen Brühe geträumt, aber das Restaurant war anscheinend geschlossen, obwohl es laut Google Maps geöffnet sein sollte. Schlechtes Management, was zu einer riesigen Enttäuschung führte.

Wir haben dieses Restaurant am 24. Dezember besucht. Obwohl es laut Google Maps als geöffnet angezeigt wurde (mit einem Hinweis zu abweichenden Öffnungszeiten), mussten wir bei unserer Ankunft in der eisigen Kälte feststellen, dass es geschlossen war. Ich möchte Restaurantbesitzer dazu anregen, ihre Angaben zu aktualisieren, insbesondere angesichts der hohen Besucherzahlen, die Google Maps anzeigt.

Der Service war sehr nett. das Essen kam schnell und war lecker. Ich hatte die Batho Bowl und war durchweg zufrieden. Wir waren 7 Personen und haben unser Essen gleichzeitig bekommen. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Very tasty. Since the place seems to be very popular, you have to wait a very long time for both service and your food. It's also possible that strangers will be sitting at your table, as every seat is used.

The sushi is very fresh and delicious, and also beautifully presented. The sodas are good too, but they could be a little less sweet.

5 stars for the best pho in town! Simply outstanding! My review from 3 years ago: This is all about sushi! €50 for two boxes. Personally, I don't think the price is right for what you get. The taste is okay. The maki rolls are very small compared to the competition. I know everything has gotten expensive, but rice is the main ingredient, so they could make the rolls a little bigger. The tempura was very good, crispy, and fresh despite being transported.

BY FAR THE BEST PHOS IN TOWN. Absolutely phenomenal. Crisp, fresh vegetables, fresh meat, and outstanding broth. I eat here at least once a week.

Delicious food, I've been there several times. They also have a good selection of vegan dishes with their own menu. You never have to wait long and the service is excellent. Unfortunately, they don't accept card payments.

Stopped in here spontaneously from the flea market. Six people were seated right away. The food was delicious and affordable, with a great vegan selection. Prices were absolutely fair.

I really wanted to like this place, since I hang out at Boxhagener Platz often, but here was my experience: Even though the website says they're open till 23:30, I arrived at 22:00 and they appeared to be closing up their outside area, and seemed annoyed that I was there at all. They took my order very quickly, which was good. I ordered the Thom Kha Gai soup and the Thai Chili bowl with crispy chicken. I ordered it SPICY. The food came very fast. The main came while I was still eating the soup, which was good! The Thom Kha was decent, but the Thai Chili bowl was barely spicy at all, and came with regular soft chicken, not crispy! I asked for them to refund the up-charge for crispy, which they did, but I was overall disappointed by the food. I came to an Asian restaurant because I wanted it to be spicy and it wasn't!! Maybe it was because I came "late". I would give them another chance.

I found my visit very pleasant. The sushi was of excellent quality and the tea was freshly prepared.

I've eaten here 2 days now and it's been insanely delicious both times.

I was only in Berlin for one evening and we chose this restaurant. Unfortunately, it was absolutely the wrong decision. Sure, if everything works out and tastes good, it might be worth the stars, but if you don't like something or have a complaint (which I never do, by the way, but in this case it was simply undrinkable), there is ZERO service or goodwill. Quite the opposite. The waiter was even rude. I ordered water and he asked if I wanted a small or a large one. I thought, OK... I'll have a large glass. But then he came back with the bottle. All right - unfortunate misunderstanding, but in summer you're supposed to drink a lot. Then he brought me a glass of rosé wine I had ordered. When I saw the color, I was surprised. I always drink rosé and it has never been this orange. When I tried it, I almost felt sick. Not only was it corky, it almost tasted like vinegar. So I get up and complain and all I get is "yes, but you ordered that." I said several times that it's no longer good. Whatever...he just wouldn't accept it. Any decent restaurant takes the bottle out and checks whether it's possibly bad and offers a replacement. NOOOO. Not here. After 10 minutes he came to the table and asked: OK, would you like something else then? I briefly held my hope and said I'd rather have the Prosecco. By the way... also warm, still, but not quite as awful as the rosé... I was surprised that the waiter hadn't taken the rosé glass. In the end I knew why. He charged me for it and wouldn't change his mind. He said it wasn't possible because I had already added some water. Yes, I thought that might improve the flavor and I had enough water. So I have no words for how you want to appear to the outside world instead of simply not charging for a glass of disgusting wine. That's called cutting corners. This will probably be immediately countered with a lie that I then won't be able to answer. What I'm writing here is the truth! PERIOD. And a sensible operator would be more likely to grab the (lesser) waiter who worked on the evening of July 5, 2025 and send him to a training course on customer service/goodwill. It's not for nothing that other restaurants let you taste the wine beforehand. And next time don't offer me anything new if you're going to charge for the rosé anyway. In that case, I can order it myself. So it was misleading. It's only about 10 euros more, but also about the principle of being taken for a fool.

We liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, so we spontaneously asked for a table. The food didn't impress us. It was lacking in refinement and rather boring. What was truly disappointing was the poor service. The wine was a disaster and undrinkable. We were offered another drink, but we both had to pay. And the waitress was rude. What a shame.

I walked into the completely empty shop and asked for a table for one person. According to the website and the sign, it was open. The waiter didn't greet me or say a word. He just shook his head. He was completely unfriendly, and apparently, guests weren't welcome.

Four of us went for dinner two days ago, and I have to say that it was the best we had in the area. It was lucky. The incredibly friendly, fast and friendly service patiently explains the dishes you have doubts about. The food is delicious!! My parents, who find it difficult to try international food a little more, were delighted too. The total price of the dinner was not as expensive as other places usually are. Everything great. I recommend going there!

We loved our visit! The food was really very good – fresh, tasty and lovingly prepared. We were particularly impressed by the fact that there is a separate page in the menu with just vegan and vegetarian dishes - a great selection! The starters were also really tasty and the portion sizes were very generous overall. We can absolutely recommend the restaurant and would love to come back!
