Best sushi ever. And the desert is nice too. The portion is big, and it is so fresh. Worth every penny. The restaurant also have both indoor and outdoor seats, and private room for the party, which came to our mind that our next party would be here. Big thank and we will be back. Highly recommend

Vegetables fried with a lot of oil, then he deep-fries tofu, a sauce (from the supermarket?) on top and that's it. Rarely eaten such fatty Asian food

Fantastic food, great service and a nice place!

Went there in the evening and left very satisfied. Cash only - no card payment possible, but there are ATMs everywhere. A very atmospherically furnished Asian restaurant where you like to stay longer and relax. Fair prices and absolutely deliciously prepared food. The bowls were fresh and tasted great. Only the edamame could be salted with coarser salt. :) come back!

There is no mention about gluten allergy on the menu

Unglaublich schönes und gemütliches Restaurant mit leckeren Asia Fusion. Nette, freundliche Bedienung. Von der Straße sieht eher unscheinbar aus aber drin ist wirklich Klasse!!! Essen war lecker aber mir bisschen fehlte den Geschmack von Bowl Soße. Sushi waren super, hier gibt's Gunkan mit Masago (Fliegende Fisch Kaviar) und Maki mit Erdnüsse und Avocado 🥑 Batho Bier vom Fass war auch richtig gut!!!

Incredibly beautiful and cozy restaurant with delicious Asian fusion. Nice, friendly service. From the street it looks rather inconspicuous but inside it is really great!!! Food was tasty but I missed the taste of bowl sauce. Sushi was great, there's gunkan with masago (flying fish caviar) and maki with peanuts and avocado 🥑 Batho draft beer was also really tasty!!!

Very mediocre food. The rice and chicken was so stale, had to leave half the plate behind. Cash only, but they don't give you a bill unless you ask.

It was a pleasant dinner I had with my girlfriend. Very good the pasta truffles, also the one with beef! Always very helpful the best worker of this place: PHAM!!! We will be back 💯💪

Cash only. There aren’t any signs nor is it listed online, so we were a bit surprised — generally the rule in Berlin is to be upfront about it. The prices on the online menu at out of date, it’s about 30% more. Bun bo nam bo didn’t come mixed, which isn’t the authentic way to serve it, but it was still tasty. Ice teas were yummy, although perhaps too sweet.

That's it for my new visit, delicious like the first time ❤️very original and well made dishes... I loved the flavors! I advise you ! The servers are very friendly and attentive!

food was good, not amazing but good.. what i couldn’t understand was why we could only pay in cash, the table next to us paid by card but when the waiter approached us with the bill, he said only cash. it so happened that we had some change on us, but shouldn’t there be a sign to let us know before we order, or mention it somehow..

We visited this place last weekend. The food was tasty. I had crispy chicken with rice and peanut sauce and I enjoyed it. I also ordered a cocktail with passionfruit and it was delicious. My friends liked their food as well. Recommend!

I've been twice now. The first time we were a group of three with a dog (they're dog friendly!) and I had the tofu burger and a BaTho Sour. Absolutely delicious! The second time I went for a team event (10 people) and had the shrimp summer rolls, 31 fish udon soup, and the Hanoi Mule, Toki Minto, and BaTho Sour. I don't think there's a single bad dish on the menu! Everything was delicious and my colleagues also loved it. The service is a challenge though - it's difficult to get the attention of the staff to order more or pay, and dishes & glasses pile up on the table and don't get removed for a long time.

The food was quite good, unfortunately I received my meal about 50 minutes before my companion and felt rather bad about eating. The drinks came about 20 minutes after my meal.

The seves was very slow and took more than an hour. Not a great experience

The front part of the restaurant looks very nice, the back part not so much. The menu is varied, so everyone should find something. The waiters/waiters were friendly, but didn't come by that often.

Average Asian place, they don’t give tap water.

We were there in a large group, so the service was rather challenging. Despite this, everyone was very friendly and tried hard. The food was great and definitely worth it! The ambience in the front part is great, we were separated in the back room. Unfortunately the windows were a bit drafty and therefore not comfortable.

It was really tasty here twice - even if the sushi is relatively small for a normal price. I'm definitely willing to pay for quality. Unfortunately, on the third visit to the butterfish there were inedible components. Shortly beforehand it smelled slightly burnt. The fish was flambéed - I suspect it was frozen shortly beforehand. The restaurant was empty and we were the only guests (at 12 noon). I pointed out that unfortunately I can't eat the butterfish because it smells and tastes really unpleasant. The answer was pretty rude - we just freshened it up and finished it. I couldn't finish it. No apology or offer not to pay this. Unfortunately it was probably the last visit.

Food and service were good. Unfortunately, the guest room was only heated with mobile electric radiators, which was hardly noticeable. Through. Unfortunately, with outside temperatures of -4 degrees, it was also very uncomfortable inside.

Can't go wrong with their crispy duck with peanut sauce, rice and steamed veggies. The only minor issue was the potatoes were a bit undercooked but it didn't take away so much from the general deliciousness of the dish. I really liked the store's overall ambiance and the service was also top notch. If you wanna try nice asian fusion dishes with reasonable price tags, I'd say definitely give it a try.✌️

Exzellenter Service! Sowohl mein Mann als auch ich haben Batho bereits zweimal besucht und wir wurden jedes Mal von köstlichen Speisen zu angemessenen Preisen begeistert. Die Gerichte sind ansprechend präsentiert und werden aufmerksam serviert. Besonders genossen haben wir einen hausgemachten Glühwein mit Amaretto, der nicht nur köstlich, sondern auch preislich attraktiv war. Die Atmosphäre des Restaurants ist äußerst gemütlich und angenehm. Ohne Zweifel werden wir dieses charmante Lokal erneut aufsuchen. Batho hat sich zweifellos zu meinem bevorzugten Restaurant in Berlin entwickelt :-)

Some of the best sushis I have ever had. The fish is fresh and thick, and their creations are on point. 100% recommended, it’s so good.

Das Essen (vegan) war sehr lecker, die Auswahl der veganen Gerichte ist gut und vielfältig. Die gesamte Karte hat eine vielfältige Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Gutes-Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Einzig am Ambiente könnte noch etwas verbessertwerden.

We came here on a Saturday night and were glad to find, that there were several seats left (the area around Boxhagener Platz is usually really crowded). The staff was so incredibly nice (their recommendations were amazing), the drinks weren't filled to the brim with ice, so that there actually was a good amount of liquid :)), the food came fast (the sushi is a longer wait) and tasted amazing. The prices are great and I can't wait to go there again. They have an entire page in their menu for vegan options.

Das Lokal roch unangenehm nach Fisch- was in einem Sushi-Restaurant nicht sein sollte. Der Service war nett, aber hat unser Essen in einem Abstand von 10 min serviert, sodass wir nicht zusammen essen konnten. Das Essen hat uns leider nicht geschmeckt, es war lieblos und geschmacklos. Die Drinks waren lecker, allerdings sollte man darauf achten frische Kräuter zu verwenden und keine halb vergammelten, das war schade und eklig. Für den Preis esse ich deutlich besser vietnamesisch um die Ecke :-)

Das Essen war gut, aber leider nicht das, was ich bestellt habe. Da ich Hunger hatte und das Essen was ich bekam auch mit Ente war, habe ich es auch kommentarlos gegessen. Als ich dann anmerkte, dass ich ein falsches Essen bekommen habe und eigentlich nur den korrekten Preis zahlen wollte, der 5 EUR günstiger war als mein bestelltes Essen, wurde es komisch! Der Service hat den Fehler nicht eingestanden, sondern wollte mir erzählen, dass das Gericht geändert wurde, aber noch nicht auf der Karte aktualisiert wurde. Jetzt ist das aber so, dass ich ein Essen mit Roter Beete und völlig anderem Gemüse bestellt hatte und ich zuvor das Essen, welches ich bekommen habe auch auf der Karte gesehen habe. Sie ließen sich leider nicht überzeugen, warum auch immer. Ich wollte nur den korrekten Preis zahlen. Hier gehe ich auf jeden Fall kein zweites Mal hin.

Wir waren zu 4. im Batho. Wir hatten verschiedene Gerichte, u.a. Sushi, Pho Suppe und die Batho Bowl. Sehr lecker und sehr schnell am Tisch. Netter Service - mir zu empfehlen!

Despite the reviews here I had a bad experience there. We ordered a Crispy duck and crispy chicken. It was awful tbh , the chicken was greasy and bland. It wasn’t freshly cooked at all and seemed like it’s been ready since a while ago!!

Essen ist Eigentlich lecker dort aber wenn ihr Abends bestellen wollt kann ich nur davon abraten. Hab bei meiner Suppe statt shiitake Pilzen kleine champignons reinbekommen und der kohl war auch nur ganz klein nicht wie sonnst. Die Edamame war auch nicht richtig durchgegart. Ich hatte erst angerufen zum bestellen weil ich bar zahlen wollte und sie meinte ich wohne sehr weit weg (15min fahrradweg) und sie haben keine Fahrer mehr. dann hab ich bei lieferando bei denen bestellt weil sie doch in meinem Liefergebiet sind. Ich fühle es so als hätte ich mit Absicht eine schlechte Qualität des Essens bekommen und bin sehr traurig darüber weil ich das essen und den laden eigentlich sehr mag.

Service schlecht, Essen mittelmäßig. Die Bedienung hat sehr lange gebraucht, dann einen Hauptteil vergessen und das Falsche serviert. Als ich es moniert habe sind sie ausfallend geworden. Das Essen war qualitativ mittelmäßig. Beim Fleischgericht war quasi kein Feisch enthalten

Really beautiful restaurant in a good location and if you love Asian food you will enjoy the food as well.

Wir waren spontan am frühen Freitagabend da und haben problemlos noch einen Platz gefunden. Ab 20 Uhr war es schon schwieriger. Wir haben beide ein Hauptgericht bestellt, was wirklich sehr gut war (Ente mit Süßkartoffelpommes z.B.). Ich konnte aber auch die Sushi-Kreationen bewundern, die vor mir über die Bar gereicht wurden. Die sahen fantastisch aus! Der Kellner war aufmerksam und immer freundlich. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

I came with my partner at 10.30 pm when closing time was 11.30pm. First they refused to cook saying that the kitchen was closed, but then agreed if we make an order fast. We realized that we needed time to learn the menu and order, so we decided to leave (assuming the quality of food cooked in a rush, which have not low prices btw), but before leaving I wanted to use the bathroom and the staff said that it's only allowed for the customers who make an order 😐 well...

Tried sushi and a chicken dish which and they were both OK. Not bad, but nothing special, either. And the sushi was served too cold. Serive was friendly and polite. The location by Boxi is nice.

Lekkere homemade gember limonade! Eten was goed, personeel vriendelijk.

I went there on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was empty at first and then people started to come. But, there is no need for a reservation. There are a lot of tables inside. I had a pho and it was underwhelming. The service was fast, and the staff was nice. I asked for payment via card but they asked if I could pay in cash. It's not a surprise for small businesses in Germany. The bank fees are high. Overall, it was an ok experience. Not a bad restaurant, the menu has a lot of options. I would go there if the other restaurants in the area are full.
