Food was ok but nothing special. The service and behavior of the employees towards customers is bottom drawer. Waited 1 hour for the food and another 20 minutes for the bill when it wasn't busy. No accomodation from the employees, just rude answers.

Burgers and fries were very tasty at reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. The homemade lemonades are also very good! Would go there again at any time.

It's been a while since I've been there again and I'm shocked at the prices now. I immediately had NYC vibes from overpriced burgers and side dishes. It's a shame, the taste is great, but given the prices you'll prefer other locations.

Wir waren das erste mal dort. Die Burger sehen online und in der Karte sehr gut aus, leider wird das aber nicht richtig umgesetzt. Die Burger kamen überraschend schnell (unter 10 Minuten Wartezeit), aber die Pattys und die Pommes waren anscheinend schon zu lange in der Pfanne/Ofen. Das Fleisch war sehr trocken und das schlechteste am ganzen Burger, hätte so nicht serviert werden dürfen. Wir haben den Service drauf angesprochen, man wolle die Anmerkung weitergeben. Haben das Fleisch dann nicht komplett gegessen, ansonsten ganz okay, aber eher keinen zweiten Besuch wert.

Proud prices for simple creations in cold buns. Efforts are being made to maintain the image of powerful and lovingly designed burgers, but the taste can be improved. Ambience is like that. Menus could be wiped down.

I was never inside, only internet from outside

The atmosphere was quite pleasant. The burger was very tasty and the fries were crispy. The service was unobtrusive but very friendly. However, the prices are also quite high.

I rate the delivery service here. Ordered twice and was bitterly disappointed twice. I was always satisfied in the local restaurant but the burgers from the delivery service are a joke. Dry bun, cold meat, cheese that doesn't even melt, missing ingredients and wrong sauce/paste on the burger, which tasted absolutely terrible of oriental spices (100 % no barbecue sauce as usual). I couldn't taste any spices, such as salt on the meat either. That with 2 burgers for a total of almost 30 euros is outrageous. Delivery time was quick, driver was friendly.

Great burgers, friendly service, amazing fries! (and very tasty lemonade too) We were here a bit late (around 8:45pm on a Tuesday) and it seemed pretty empty, only on other table with guests except us, hence the atmosphere was cozy and the food, and the whole expierence, was really great. I had a burger covered entirely in cheese sauce, this was.. Unusual and very unique, but pleasent, would recommend again anytime.

The Hamburgers came out quickly and were delicious. The pancakes took longer and were cold. They were a little sickening. The establishment is well decorated, clean bathroom But the floor of the room was dirty, and what's worse, the menus were all dirty, full of fingerprints and the pages stuck together. I didn't want to read it

I've eaten at Baseburger twice now and it was great both times. The heart attack with cheese sauce is simply a dream

We were at Baseburger in Wattenscheid around 6:30 p.m. in mid-September 2024. Due to the beautiful pictures and the largely good reviews, we decided at short notice to eat “tasty” burgers here. We didn't have a reservation and were allowed to choose the table and chose a table by the window. When we wanted to sit down we noticed that the table and chairs were wet and sticky, as was the floor. We tried to dry everything with napkins. A staff member rushed over with a wet rag and wiped down the table and chairs. He excused this by tipping over a beer bottle. We tried again to dry everything with napkins from the neighboring table. But it still stuck. The employee then used a wet cloth to dry the furniture, but left it just as bad as before. We tried again with the napkins. My wife sat down and I went to the toilet. When I got there, I encountered an unpleasant smell that occurs when toilets are not cleaned thoroughly. Storage rooms were open and you could see a mess, which also showed a lack of cleanliness. The entire guest rooms looked run down and unclean. The chairs were damaged (armrest loose, you could have gotten stuck) and continued to stick and the cutlery basket that was brought was sticky with grease, as were the menus. We then asked ourselves what the kitchen looked like. After this experience, we left the restaurant pointing out the grievances. Unfortunately, one star has to be given for the review, ZERO stars are deserved here. This restaurant is not recommended.

There is a very good and, above all, exceptional selection of burgers, but also bowls, pancakes and special fries. However, it never feels like everything is there, this was the second time we were here and we were constantly told that they didn't have this or that. The burgers were perfectly fine (you kind of expect more but they are ok) and their prices are ok too. In my opinion, the prices for fries aren't really justified, but you still always order them. Regarding the service: the waitress wasn't unfriendly in any way, but I still wouldn't say it was good service. She was at the table once to take everything in, but then she never came back, not even when our drinks were empty. It took an eternity until we finally managed to tell her that we wanted to pay. The bill came straight after a few seconds.

Vulcano burgers, fries and blueberry pancakes were great. Gladly again!

The burger tasted good, but not freshly prepared, which is to be expected for €15. Plate broken at the top, salad not fresh (for the second time) and everything a bit overpriced for what you get. Not recommended

A very nice shop, I've been there many times and the food is always good and the service too. The restaurant is really nicely designed and you don't have to wait long for your food. The food isn't too expensive either. It gets rather expensive if you order special things such as drinks with a lot of alcohol.

Wir waren zu viert im Baseburger in Bochum als Familie essen und alle vier Gerichte (div. Burger, div. Fries) und der Pancake Nachtisch waren sehr lecker, saftig und geschmacklich gut angestimmt. Auch die "housemade" Limonaden haben uns geschmeckt. Der männliche Ober (vielleicht sogar der Filialleiter?) war sehr aufmerksam, super freundlich und flott. Wir hatten als nicht ortsansässig zunächst etwas Mühe das Restaurant in einer großen Mall (mit Kaufland, Rossmann, Deichmann & Co) zu finden, weil das von der HP zunächst gar nicht ersichtlich war, dass es sich in einem Einkaufszentrum befindet. Insgesamt empfehlen wir Baseburger Bochum gerade für Familien mit Teenagern gerne weiter.

Wir gehen seit Jahren dort mit Freunden essen und heute war es wohl das letzte mal. Die Karte wird immer weiter runtergewirtschaftet. Die Burger sind Zweifels ohne immernoch sehr gut. Der Service der ist aber eine einzige Katastrophe. Und wenn Basics wie Kartoffelgitter oder Avocado um 19 Uhr auf einem Donnerstag aus sind, in einem nicht gut besuchten Laden ist das sehr schade. Was mich aber zu nur 2 Sternen bewegt hat ist der Service. Nachdem wir gegessen hatten, wurden wir nicht mehr bedient. Wir haben mehrfach das Personal angesprochen weil wir noch Getränke bestellen wollten. Nach 40 Minuten haben wir dann die Rechnung verlangt.

Went there on Sunday evening and got a table straight away as it wasn't too full. The selection of burgers is great and they taste very good! The salad was also great. We will be back!!! ✌️

The first time I went there with my girls!!! A very large selection of burgers which were also very tasty as well as the dessert!! We particularly liked the non-alcoholic daiquiry, the size and taste were simply great!!! This certainly wasn't our last visit!!!

The table reservation didn't work out at all, maybe it was a coincidence. The service was absolutely okay, not intrusive. The burgers were something special, very juicy and tasty with very good quality! The versions of fries were interesting but actually superfluous. That's just a matter of taste! We will definitely come back.

Very good restaurant with very good cuisine, the Jagdhsus Schellenberg is located above Lake Baldeney with a wonderful view of the lake. The beer garden is also absolutely pretty. It's definitely worth stopping by on a trip to Lake Baldeney.

It's a good restaurant. The hamburgers are very tasty and excellent. The good thing is that they are new style and fresh, and after eating them, you don't feel stomach pain or heaviness. I think the cocktails could be better.

Got a table half an hour before the actual reservation, food came after 10 minutes and it was really tasty too. Only the portions are a bit too small. We've often heard that it's overcrowded. That wasn't the case for us on a Sunday at 6:15 p.m. The sweet Pornstar (dognut burger) and the sexy Chippendale Burger are highly recommended. The chilli cheese fries as well. They finally consist of cheese sauce instead of just baking the fries with cheese. A real treat! Update: For whatever reason, Sweet Pornstar is no longer on the map. I've now tried the Vulcano, which is also delicious, but really doesn't compare to the Sweet Pornstar 💔 the Mai Burger was a Crossaint Burger. It didn't come close to Sweet Pornstar either. Almost a reason for me to stop going to BaseBurger.

Unfortunately, it depends a lot on who is on duty. Between top service and the best burger I have ever eaten and mediocre service and run-of-the-mill burgers, everything is possible.

A typical hipster burger shop with everything that goes with it: experimental but well-balanced burgers, interesting variations of fries and a reasonable selection of drinks. I've been here a few times now. Overall, always satisfied, certainly not cheap, but definitely worth the money.

Unfortunately it has diminished considerably. Conversations among the staff were more important than the guest. It's sad that so little emphasis is placed on etiquette these days. Unfortunately, I also noticed that the products there have also deteriorated. The pulled pork tasted boring and bland. But the worst thing, despite us confirming our wishes to the waiter three times because he was busy talking to a colleague, was the wrong food for my wife. And not only that. A discussion was then brazenly started as to whether my wife had made a mistake. That was the knockout criterion for me personally. The main problem I see is that apparently unskilled people work there who apparently don't even receive proper training. They probably don't explain even the simplest rules for dealing with guests. I think it's a shame. Plus it's not particularly cheap. And now that the prices have risen further, I think you should make even more effort. Completely incomprehensible that there was no lactose-free milk for a coffee after dinner. This is not a problem for just a few people. So the whole thing was heading towards a complete catastrophe. My money is really too good for that.

Ambiance really nice. Unfortunately there are old fries under the tables right after opening. I would have liked more cleanliness. Going to the toilet was associated with a strong stench from the stairs downstairs. Probably a sewer problem in Old Watsche. Now about the food. Burgers were ok. Nothing special now. Service attentive and friendly. There's nothing to complain about there. Nicely meant 3 stars.

Das Restaurant hat wirklich ein sehr schönes Ambiente auch das Essen war sehr gut. Was ich mir wünschen würde ist, dass es eine Kinderkarte geben sollte und es werden Veganer Burger angeboten, leider aber keine Alternative zur Kuhmilch. Hätte gerne noch einen Kaffee getrunken. Darum leider nur 4 Sterne.

We got the burgers quite quickly and the taste was quite good (except for the fries, which weren't tasty at all) if they had been warm. Since we didn't get any cutlery, even when we asked, we had to take the cutlery from another table and eat the burgers cold. The conditions were visibly overwhelming. Very unfortunate

I ordered from Baseburger. Food arrived on time at the requested time and warm too. The quality did not suffer due to the delivery. The fries were crispy, which is rare with delivered fries. The burger was delicious and one of the best delivery burgers I have ever eaten. The price doesn't seem cheap at first, but you should consider what you're getting. The quality is not comparable to what you get at certain fast food chains. Really good products are used here, which also have their price when purchased, which is why the price is completely justified. 5/5

Unfortunately it was very uncomfortable to sit, the music was too loud and the light was very bright. The tables and chairs are more reminiscent of a fast food restaurant. The tables were only cleaned when we were already seated, so we had the crumbs from the previous guests on our legs. The burgers (The Heart Attack) didn't taste fresh or crunchy. The meat wasn't juicy. I'm hoping for something different from a burger restaurant. The service was nice but slow and very chaotic. Unfortunately we will not recommend it. No parking facility

Burgers were okay, service was a disaster. There was no waitress around for half an hour, so at some point we had to go to the kitchen to pay. Portions of fries are incredibly huge, best shared!

We were regularly at Baseburger Lünen years ago. Unfortunately, Bochum couldn't even come close to keeping up with the food and service today. The burgers (like everywhere else) are of course significantly more expensive than 4 years ago. Unfortunately, some of the preparation no longer worked as well as it did back then. The bacon was rock hard, hardly any sauce on the fries, the patty had two small pieces of gristle. Additionally, the store wasn't particularly crowded. However, we waited a long time for service. We'd rather try it again in Lünen

Update August 12, 2023 It's crazy what a megaburger the Titan is this month. Ok, after enjoying it you'll probably have to make an appointment with a cardiologist, but really guys, the burger is great and should end up on the menu as a permanent guest. It's nice that you're still here, we'll continue to be regular customers. _____________________________ Update 11/1/2022 Oh man, now that things are finally going well, are you closing the store? It's a real shame, not just because you make great burgers, but also for the staff and for the Wattenscheid location. I will definitely stay loyal to you until the end of the year. From the mega-hot burger Sloppy Joe to the waiting time etc. Everything is as it should be. We made a reservation at short notice, the table wasn't positioned so well because it was right by the door. However, we were happy to get a place. The burgers were very tasty and any special requests were addressed immediately and the waitress offered alternatives. The burger patties and rolls convinced us, we'll be back :) Service was super nice and friendly :)

The service was very accommodating, our drinks arrived very quickly. In between, someone asked if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. We each had a cheeseburger and lattice fries, nothing exceptional but it was very good. The vegan mayonnaise was also very good.

Very tasty burgers and the dessert was great too! I had the pulled pork burger. Anyone who takes the waffle donut for dessert, they taste like the sugar waffles from the supermarket - wasn't my thing.

Schlechtestes Fleisch. Es riecht einfach streng. Service überfordert. Denke die guten Bewertungen kommen nur daher, dass es in Wattenscheid keinen alternativen Burgerladen gibt.

Tolle Speisekarte, sehr schönes Restaurant. Portionen waren groß und die Preise gehen auch in Ordnung. Tolle Getränkekarte, alles dabei! Leider war keine Kinderkarte da. Alles gut.

Preisleistung passt überhaupt nicht. Die Burger sind total überteuert mit bis zu 16 Euro. Geschmacklich nix besonderes und releativ klein. Die Pommes kosten 5,5 - 9 € extra!! Ice Tee schmeckt nur nach Wasser. Man sitz auch sehr unbequem da der Tisch zu niedrig oder der Stuhl zu hoch ist. Wir alle hatten rücken nach 20 min....Bedienung war nett und es kam alles schnell.

Probably the best burger I've ever had. I had the Spicy-Cheese burger and my partner had the "Good"job burger. It's not actually called that but Google won't let me post it's real name so use your imagination. Both were delicious. The waffle fries we got with it, a side of spicy japanese mayo, were a great accompaniment.

Wirklich sehr köstliche Burger, Beilagen und Getränke. Eine gute Auswahl, bei der man sich nur schwer entscheiden kann. Meine Empfehlung der "Sweet Prnstar Burger" Hammer Kombi aus süß und herzhaft. Nur könnten die normalgroßen Burger alle ein wenig größer bzw das Pattie etwas dicker sein. Personal war top freundlich und konnte einem auch gut bei Empfehlungen helfen.

Extrem leckere Burger. Die leise Musik ist Recht angenehm, da man hier mit seinen Freunden, Partnern, akollegem etc. Angenehm diskutiere ich kann. Eine Parkgelegenheit sollte man sich allerdings gut aussuchen da man hier etwas gehen muss.

Danke an das Team für den gestriegen schönen Abend. Es war zwar viel los, aber die Servicekraft hat sich trotzdem für jeden zeit genommen und alle wünsche versucht soweit es geht zu erfüllen. Auch das Essen war echt gut. Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder.

Wir waren am 26.12 dort zu zweit essen, direkt nach dem eintreffen haben wir gemerkt das die (nur) 2 Bedienungen offensichtlich überfordert waren. Wir mussten etwa 30 Minuten auf die burger warten, was eigentlich noch in Ordnung ist. Allerdings haben wir kein besteck bekommen und erst nach zweimaligem nachfragen und etwa 5 Minuten später wurde uns von der anderen Bedienung das Besteck gereicht, da waren die Burger so gut wie kalt! Sowas darf in so einer Preisklasse einfach nicht passieren. Die Burger waren okay aber habe schon deutlich bessere gegessen. Als ich dann gegen Ende auf die Toilette eingekehrt bin, musste ich feststellen das nur die Hälfte der Beleuchtung funktionierte und man fast nichts gesehen hat (siehe Bild). Jetzt kommt allerdings die Krönung des Besuchs: Als ich bezahlt habe hat die Bedienung nach Erhalt des Bargeldes das Restgeld selbstverständlich als Trinkgeld angesehen und erst nach Nachfrage zurückgeben! Und nach der Besteck Aktion noch so zu tun als wäre nichts gewesen! Da fehlen mir echt die Worte, soetwas habe ich noch nicht erlebt, da wurde ich bei McDonalds schon besser bedient. Ich kann dieses Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen!

Sehr freundlicher, wenn auch kurzzeitig chaotischer Service. Sonst sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Große Auswahl an Speisen und tolle Burgerauswahl. Selbst für Vegetarier ist was dabei. Sehr löblich war die Schnelligkeit der bestellten Speisen. Bereits nach knapp 5-10 Minuten hatten wir unser Essen. Sehr schön angerichtet und warm. Preislich auch vollkommen angemessen für die Größe an Speisen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 👍🏻 weiter so!!!

Wir lieben Burger! Also mussten wir hier hin. Die Burger sind der Hammer. Die Auswahl ist nicht sehr groß und eher außergewöhnlich. Auch die Pommesvariationen sind der Wahnsinn. Leider finden wir die Burgerteller etwas klein. Ambiente ist gemütlich. Bedienung ist super nett. Was jedoch gar nicht geht, ist das man nach diesem Aufenthalt selbst riecht wie ein Burger. Der Laden riecht so dermaßen nach Fett und gebratenem Essen, dass man seine Klamotten danach komplett waschen und selbst duschen muss. Überhaupt nicht schön. Nach Aussage der Bedienung, wird die Tür zur Küche (wohl aus Bequemlichkeit) nicht geschlossen und steht somit offen, was dazu führt, dass der Gestank der Küche ins Ladenlokal zieht. NoGo!

Eine sehr stimmiges und bestechendes Ambiente führen letztlich zu einer Klasse Atmosphäre für den Angriff auf den äußerst leckeren Burger der Wahl. Welcher sehr appetitlich angerichtet und serviert wird und letztlich extrem mundet, Vorsicht Suchtgefahr! Auch meine beiden Arbeitskollegen waren sehr zufrieden und stimmten mir gänzlich zu. Zuletzt das wichtigste: das Personal und der Service. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service! Selbst meiner Bitte auf die Frage 'Wohin die große Treppe führt' wurde entsprochen und erklärt und sogar die obige Location vorgeführt. Somit noch einen persönlichen herzlichen Dank an die unbekannte Dame die sich trotz viel Arbeit diese Zeit für mich genommen hat sowie ein merci für den Tipp: Trüffelmayo 🍟🖤 Fazit: hierhin komme ich gerne jederzeit wieder 👍🏼

Süper schöner Laden. Das Essen war super zubereitet und kreativ. Die Namen der Burger waren sehr amüsant. Das Personal war überaus freundlich.

Essen war gut und lecker aber die Musik war sehr laut

Beim ersten Mal wo ihr da waren wahr wirklich alles top das Essen war super noch nie so nen guten Burger gegessen. Aber heute wo wir da waren muss ich sagen das einzigste was schlecht war, war leider die Burger da die dieses Mal nicht richtig durch waren und man somit zuhause direkt auf Toilette rennen musste, dennoch waren die Mitarbeiter und das Ambiente top.

Immer sehr zuvorkommender Service, das Essen ist flexibel anpassbar und alles wirklich gut! Ich empfehle hier einen OldFashioned :)

Nicht zu empfehlen für Menschen mit Zöliakie! Trotz der Allergenkarte und Auskunft im Restaurant sowie glutenfreiem Bun und glutenfreiem no beef patty ist das bei uns komplett schief gegangen. Da scheint in der Küche nicht getrennt und unsauber gearbeitet zu werden oder andere Zutaten im Burger enthielten große Mengen Gluten. Finger weg!!!

Sehr nettes Personal, megalegga egal ob Burger, Pulledpork, Fries, Dessert oder die Limes.
