The restaurant only sees the customer as a wallet. At first they wouldn't let us sit down because we said there were four of us, but two of us waited outside while we looked for a table first. The person in charge told us that all four had to be present so he could give us a table. He later informed us that we could only stay for an hour, but after just 45 minutes the waiter came twice and disturbed us. After 50 minutes the person in charge came himself and told us that we have to leave. The food was very simple, the portions were small and way too expensive.

The one next door is simply perfect – whether for breakfast, lunch or a relaxed dinner. The quality is top, the food is always fresh and incredibly tasty!! The many vegetarian dishes and the delicious coffee make every visit a pleasure. 😊 And then there's Barry, the owner, who often knows his guests personally and greets them as if they were old friends. This warm, personal atmosphere makes every visit special. 😊 Anyone who has been here once is guaranteed to come back again and again!! Absolute recommendation!

The food was absolutely delicious and so filling. Everything on the plate complemented each other perfectly, and very flavorful. The dishes are also quite unique so I would recommend trying out different ones so that you can share with each other. We would definitely recommend the plate which schnitzel. The prices are really good for the high quality of the food. The place is very busy on the weekends, so it can get pretty crowded and loud. there can also be a line, but it is definitely worth it.

I've been going next door for almost two years now! What's striking: consistently excellent service! Everyone is always super friendly. Healthy and very tasty lunch or dinner. Coffee and cake, especially cheesecake with blueberries, are just delicious! Diverse menu, in my opinion. Simply recommended!

We came on a Sunday at peak time without a reservation and never thought we would get a table. But the friendly gentleman in service made everything possible and actually organized a place for us - despite the full house. The entire service was attentive and quick, our order was taken immediately and the food arrived in no time. The juices, cappuccino and breakfast were simply outstanding - fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared. We are thrilled and will definitely come back!

We found it while looking for a place to have breakfast near the museum district. They have English menus. The flavors on the breakfast plates are delicious, and the cheese selection is great. The atmosphere is nice and the waiters are understandable and fast. They can only offer slightly softer beans for espresso. Everything was great. One of the good breakfast places to go to in Munich.

This is my friend’s favorite restaurant, and I understood why after visiting. She recommended the Penne pasta, and it was delicious—creamy and full of vegetables. My partner ordered the salmon, and it was amazing. We also tried a fresh juice made with orange, carrot, ginger, and more—it was absolutely delicious. The owner is full of energy and provides excellent attention to the customers. If I could eat here every day, I would.

Dear Barry, four of us spontaneously went next door on a Saturday at the beginning of November. Called shortly beforehand and everything was perfect. Great pizzas, fresh😉from across the street. Every dessert is a dream. Recommendation? Simply everything! My tip: The Tiramisu❤️ is a heavenly kiss for every sweet tooth. Loved the atmosphere and the food is absolutely incredible. Make sure you talk to the owner as he’s very charming and chatty! Be sure to reserve your seats for a busy time during the weekend. It’s lovely!

I visited Nebenan for the second time. It's a nice choice for a tasty brunch at good prices (in Munich). Even though it was a Sunday and the place was really full, we were seated immediately and the staff served us on time:) Thank you very much!

Really good cuisine! The dishes are really amazing, you won't find them like this in Munich. The dishes come with salad and incredibly delicious bread. I'll definitely be back. Cake and breakfast also looked great.

I discovered the one next door by chance, but it immediately became a favorite shop. The service is terrific: personable, always friendly, even when it's full they try to get you a table AND then they're incredibly fast - that's an absolute rarity in the station wagon. You can have an excellent breakfast next door, but the lunch dishes are also delicious and incredibly fair for Munich. I almost never order salad anywhere else, but I do so very regularly here because the baked feta with pomegranate seeds is simply sensational. Please stay as you are and thank you for so many good moments!

THE ABSOLUTELY BEST STORE IN MUNICH!!! REALLY!!!! I often go to different restaurants, cafés and bars in Munich. For me, the “next door” in Munich is unbeatable! There is extremely delicious food. The bowl with grilled pumpkin in particular is my insider tip! Hardly any other restaurant can match the quality and freshness of the food. And the prices are more than fair!!!! In principle, you can order everything on the menu blindly. Everything is guaranteed to taste fantastic!!!! The staff is super attentive and friendly and the location is also very cozy and inviting. If I lived in the neighborhood, I would no longer cook for myself and eat there every day. Simply unique in the city!!!! If you don't try it, it's your own fault! A solid 10 out of 10! I'm definitely a new regular

As others have already written here: incredibly nice service! There were 9 of us and got a table within 5 minutes. We had to change tables every now and then, but that wasn't a problem for us! The food is really good and tasty. Prices are really OK 👌

Great selection of particularly good, always fresh meals. The store is well run and therefore always very busy. The boss and his employees respond to customer requests. The food comes quickly. Price-performance is also more than OK. Fantastic!

One of the best places I’ve eaten! Salad bowls are exceptional (especially the one with grilled pumpkin), and the tiramisu was out of this world! Super light and delicious. Loved it!

Unfortunately not good. Very nice service but you wait for a seat without anyone caring (even if there are free seats). Unfortunately, the food selection is not at the same level as the original (Queen 43). Price performance is not good either and unfortunately the taste is not good either (less portion but more price).

Sweet, cozy brunch cafe with very tasty salad 🥗 and great service :) There is a good selection of different dishes on the breakfast and lunch menu. It was a little too early for lunch, but the chef and service were nice enough to allow us to order something from the lunch menu. The salad was very tasty and the bread was fresh, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. However, the caramelized walnuts tasted slightly burnt and bitter - that can happen. The cappuccino was very tasty. You can eat together in groups both indoors and outdoors. The interior is really nice and cozy and the toilet was also clean and cute. Overall it was really nice and reasonably priced 😊

I was last there for dinner on Friday with my sister. We got a table straight away from the lovely staff without a reservation, even though, as always, it was super busy. The food is extremely tasty, we haven't had anything that we didn't like and the portions are large and the price is more than fair. For us, the next door has now become our favorite restaurant because both the food and the staff are simply great.

Came across it by chance and now a repeat offender! 😉 Great breakfast, great service, boss takes great care of his guests. Even when there's a lot going on, he keeps an overview and has time for a little advice! I'll be back...

Went here for brunch on a Sunday. It was quite crowded, which unfortunately had a bad effect on the service and ambience; When it became empty again, it was much more comfortable. The food itself was really good, but relatively small portions for the prices

The two of us spontaneously passed the café on a Wednesday afternoon and were allowed to sit down inside. We had a really delicious cheesecake and a chocolate cake with blueberries, I think. Plus a cappuccino and a ChaiLatte. Everyone was super polite, a great atmosphere. You just felt very comfortable and it was simply delicious. A great afternoon, we can only recommend it!

The very best iced latte in Munich and the bread there is also a highlight. Generally very good food and service. One of my favorite restaurants, I go there regularly and enjoy it, especially in summer. We recommend!

After so many disappointing Service & Places in Munich, we found our place! These people know how to satisfy the guests. The food and beverages great quality, big portions and fair prices! The owner and the stuff super friendly! This place represents hospitality as it should be! In this materialistic town where everybody tries to strip you of, Barry (the boss) made a great place. Great breakfast restaurant. The lunch menu also looked great, but we “only” had breakfast. The food was delicious, the service was super nice and everything went pretty quickly even though the store was completely full. Minimal deduction: Tea in a small cup from the bag for just under €4, coffee €5 is a bit excessive. Other prices are perfectly fine.

It's finally back up and better than before! The large selection of lunch dishes is innovative, modern and healthy and ranges from delicious sandwiches and delicious salads to curries and other warm dishes. The prices are more than good for the quality. The waitresses are incredibly friendly and see themselves as hosts (especially Alex), so that you not only feel like a customer but also a guest next door. I'm looking forward to my next visit there.

We were in Munich this weekend and came across the "next door" by chance. We can only warmly recommend it. The food was great, the service was very friendly and warm and the quality and performance were just right. I ended my birthday here and was very happy to have been there that day.
