Essen war wirklich sehr lecker, würde mir etwas mehr Salatbeilage beim Sesamschnitzel wünschen. Service freundlich, gehen auf Extra-Wünsche ein und sind relativ schnell. Kann ich absolut empfehlen.

Gute Auswahl an Speisen und freundlicher Service :)

Das Sesamschnitzel war sehr gut, ebenso die Gulaschsuppe. Wir wurden zu Beginn – und das zu Recht – auf die Wartezeit hingewiesen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Das Essen war absolut hervorragend, allerdings haben wir knapp eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet. Zumindest hat sich das warten gelohnt. Ein Bestellung wurde leider auch verwechselt, aber das richtige kam dann schnell hinterher.

Fanden das Essen leider schlecht. Alles gekauft und warm gemacht, keine Kochkunst. Lage draußen ist allerdings echt schön, innen drin ist alles etwas altmodisch.

Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück! Eine riesige Auswahl an hochwertigen und leckeren Speisen. Der Service war sehr gut – die Angestellten waren sehr höflich, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr empfehlenswert! Man kann das Frühstück auch als Nicht-Hotelgast erwerben.

Wir haben am Samstagabend hier ohne Reservation noch einen freien Tisch gefunden. Die Speiselarte ist nicht besonders üppig, aber vielfältig. Service und Essen sehr gut trotz vieler Gäste. Etwas laut in der Haststube.

Das Sesamschnitzel war sehr lecker und es gab sogar etwas vernünftiges für die Kinder: Schnitzel, Karotten und Kartoffelbrei. Normalerweise ist es oft schwer, dass die Kinder ihr Gemüse essen, aber die Karotten wurden problemlos gegessen.

Wir waren hier zum Abendessen. Es gab genug freie Tische im Außenbereich und auch der Hund fand seinen Platz. Die Kellnerin war schnell zur Stelle und auch die bestellten Getränke kamen schnell. Wir bestellten Schnitzel mit Spargel und Salzkartoffeln sowie Hähnchenbrust a l `orange mit Bandnudeln und glasierten Möhren. Das Schnitzel mit Kartoffeln und Spargel war insgesamt gut. Die Hähnchenbrust war sehr trocken, die Bandnudeln leider ohne jeden Geschmack ( wie einfach aus dem Nudelsieb auf den Teller gegeben). Die "glasierten" Möhren sahen zwar gut aus hatten aber ebenfalls keinen nennenswerten Geschmack, weil sie eben nicht glasiert waren. Die Orangensauce war eher Orangenwasser und hat dieses Menü so auch nicht mehr retten können. So war es zu 50% enttäuschend für uns auch angesichts der relativ hohen Preise. Ich würde dringend raten dieses Gericht zu überarbeiten oder ganz von der Karte zu nehmen um anderen Gästen die Enttäuschung zu ersparen.

In diesem Restaurant hat man uns zweimal den Abend gerettet. Das Essen sowie der Service waren fantastisch gut. Man kann sich in diesem Restaurant auch Mal überraschen lassen. Z.b. Himbeersorbet mit Gin und einer Physalis. Steht nirgends auf der Karte. Wunsch erfüllt. Zu dritt 3 Essen 6 Getränke ca. 100€ Super Preisleistung. Gerne kommen wir wieder zum verweilen essen und trinken. Danke nochmal.

Sehr positive Erfahrung – die Bedienung war schnell, aufmerksam und nett, und das Essen hat uns allen – 2 Erwachsenen und 1 Kind – sehr gut gefallen.

Sesampaniertes Schweinefleisch 23 € Der Geschmack ist okay, daher nur 4 Sterne. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet, die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist ebenfalls super. Den Preis wert. Montags um 17 Uhr war niemand da.

Ich hatte noch nie zuvor Sesam-Schweinekotelett gegessen und war total überrascht, wie gut es schmecken würde. Das Kotelett war zart und saftig, und durch die Sesamsamen hatte es einen Hauch von Fernost. Die Beilage waren frittierte Kartoffelbällchen, die viel besser als Pommes waren – einfach fantastisch! Wir bestellten außerdem eine lokale Spezialität mit Käse und Schinken, die perfekt zum Mittagessen war!

Essen war lecker und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Sehr zentral am Marktplatz gelegen.

Hier kann man fast sagen dir wird jeder Wunsch von den Lippen abgelrsen. Die Kellnwrinen und Kellner sind schnell und wrden nicht aufdringlich.

Excellent service and great value. The waiter was very friendly and knew a little Spanish, which was much appreciated. We ordered pumpkin soup (it's pumpkin season) and it was delicious, a vegetarian dish, and a breaded cutlet with mushroom cream sauce. The portions were generous and very tasty.

We just wanted a coffee and a snack, and we got a table right away. Our dog was allowed in too. The service was courteous and the price was absolutely reasonable. The cakes and coffee specialties are delicious.

We just popped in because it was full outside. We still got a seat right away. The waiter was very friendly and always had a good joke. We had to wait a bit longer for our food, but they apologized with a free shot of schnapps. The food was delicious 😋, and it was the right decision.

We had dinner at the Bären and were ultimately quite disappointed. We had hoped for good, home-style cooking. The menu read well, but unfortunately, the food was simply not good enough for the rather high prices. The trout "Müllerinen" was okay, but simply not good enough for €27. My salad, for €18, was the biggest disappointment: the described salad variation consisted of iceberg lettuce with a bit of cucumber, tomato, onion, and corn. The sauce was lacking everything, and the chicken wasn't anything special either. It wasn't bad in itself, but it really wasn't good for the price. What is actually nice is the location; you're sitting right on the market square.

We ate 6 adults + 2 children inside the restaurant for lunch. It was super good, very child-friendly and very delicious food.

Excellent food & warm service! A restaurant visit as it should be: From the very first moment, we felt completely at home. The atmosphere is stylish, yet relaxed and inviting. The food was prepared to perfection – creative, fresh, and simply outstanding in taste. Each course was a little highlight in its own right. I would especially like to highlight the service: The waitresses were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and yet wonderfully unobtrusive. Our child was greeted with pencils and coloring sheets, and every "special" child request was accommodated – thank you very much for that! With a smile on their faces and genuine interest in the well-being of the guests – you don't experience that everywhere. Here you can see that hospitality is truly lived. I can highly recommend the Restaurant zum Bären and am already looking forward to my next visit!

The restaurant and hotel is located right on the beautiful old market square. The food was excellent, as was the service.

We visited the restaurant this evening and experienced outstanding and, above all, very child-friendly service. We were served by a trainee who immediately arranged a high chair for our child. We were then brought a children's menu with sharpened pencils. The menu is varied and the quality of the food is very good. We can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant.

I don't normally review restaurants, but here I want to point out that appearances can be deceiving. Very central location with a beer garden in the back courtyard and a decent atmosphere inside. So far so good; I got a table immediately without a reservation. I ordered veal schnitzel in rosemary sauce with carrots and potatoes for €29. The quality of the meat was mediocre, and the sauce never had a hint of rosemary, which was the biggest disappointment for me. Along with three carrots and two potatoes!!!, I think you can expect more for the price. The service didn't even come to check during the meal. Overall, unsatisfactory.

We have nothing to complain about. We stopped in after our city tour and received a very warm welcome. A lovely, clean atmosphere, and best of all, a superb schnitzel with asparagus and hollandaise sauce that tasted and looked homemade, not like it came from a tetra pack. A delicious dark beer to go with it, perfect.

Absolute tourist rip-off, no card payment possible, small portions, big prices. Furniture from the 90s. You can tell that the owners are resting on their location in the center.

I had asparagus with schnitzel and potatoes. It really was perfect! The hollandaise was also great. Completely satisfied!

Very bad service!!! We waited 1 1/4 hours for our food. After asking several times, we were told that the food would be coming soon. After we noticed that all the people who had arrived later than we had already had their food, they demanded our food a little more aggressively...If it hadn't already been so late, we would have left. After an hour of waiting, the food came. I ate tagliatelle with salmon for €25. Completely unsalted and unseasoned. It really didn't taste good.

The restaurant was very nicely decorated, the service was extremely friendly and accommodating and the food was fantastic. There was a coloring card and colored pencils for the child. My sesame schnitzel with fresh cream Mushrooms tasted wonderful and even an inconspicuous starter salad turned out to be outstanding. The higher price range is worth every cent and eaten straight away...

The service was excellent and very child-friendly. The food tastes good, but a lot of it seems to be frozen, e.g. B. the cauliflower thalers. I don't think that's appropriate for a restaurant in this price range.

Last night we stopped at the Bär Restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and we were happy that we still got a place at the patchwork table as everything was fully booked everywhere. The waitress was friendly, but warned us straight away that the line-up wasn't the best. This became noticeable while she was waiting, but what can you say, she played with her cards open. To eat: the large one was delicious, the fish was a little too bathed in butter. When we ordered drinks, a bottle of water was immediately provided, which was actually requested differently, but to be fair we didn't say anything about it - which we could have done. The potatoes could have used a few more crumbs of salt, but salt and pepper were available. We fell into bed full and satisfied. Thank you very much.

Good restaurant in a great location right in the center. Despite not having a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and served quickly. The food was delicious, especially the cauliflower thalers are recommended!

The bratwurst didn't make it. The 2024 Christmas market in Quedlinburg was incredibly full, but also extremely beautiful. Anyone who has ever been there knows that there is one food stall next to another. The Thuringian Rostbratwurst has visitors firmly in their hands. But on the third Advent we actually ended up at the Hotel Zum Bär to have lunch there after our arrival. Without further ado, we can hereby announce: We were not disappointed. A sesame schnitzel with fresh cream mushrooms and croquettes, and for me please also the pork medallions with fresh cream mushrooms and fried potatoes. We wouldn't necessarily give it a Michelin star, but our food was solidly cooked and we both enjoyed it very much. The service was friendly, the drinks were at a good temperature. There's nothing to complain about. Would we come back? Well, there's nothing wrong with it, but there's still a little room for improvement. So we don't rule out a future visit. It was tasty but not outstanding. There is definitely a simple thumbs up. 👍🏻

I made a reservation by phone for 15 people, then there were one more, it wasn't a problem, the employees on the phone and in the restaurant were all very nice and friendly, service and service were good but seemed a bit hectic, perhaps too few staff or too much to do , food was good but didn't come all in a row, it was also Advent time in Qlb. The portions are large, any special requests were accepted, I had salmon fillet with ribbon noodles and leaf spinach and cocktail tomatoes, €25, I found the salmon a bit too dry, the other ingredients were ok, but the price was a bit overpriced. Was there for the first time, would go there again and eat there.

In my opinion, the price-performance-quality ratio for the food was not right and is not justified. Food is okay but clearly too expensive for the quality of the meat. I like to spend a lot of money on food but this wasn't right and I wouldn't eat there again. Service was good and attentive and also rated well.

Pork medallions were mediocre, bland in taste, a disappointment. The price is even sportier: 32.50 euros including beer! No recommendation.

The pan-fried vegetables were disappointingly cold, greasy, carrots from the frost, and too expensive for that. Bear pan is good for this, very lush

We were in the cafe. The waitress who picked us up was friendly. Even changed the cutlery when it fell down.

We love going here, sometimes before 12pm and sometimes around 5pm. I always ate shrimp pan. Great, of course all the other dishes too. I can only recommend this restaurant to all visitors to Quedlinburg.

You sit at the hotspot of Quedlinburg - very, very nice. The food was okay and the service “made an effort”.

First of all: the meat eaters were very enthusiastic. But as a vegetarian I was disappointed, I ordered a salad that was listed under vegetarian dishes and only consisted of some iceberg lettuce, a few cocktail tomatoes and cucumber slices. Disappointing for such a restaurant at this price. A Mediterranean vegetable (which I ate on another day because my enthusiastic grandparents wanted to eat meat again) was rather overcooked (and frozen vegetables) and on top there was frozen herb butter - at least it kept its attitude! ;) . Also disappointing. However, the service was very nice!

I stopped here for a drink a few times during my stay in Quedlinburg. The service is very friendly and attentive. The food I saw looked very good. It seems to be one of the few restaurants in Quedlinburg that doesn't close at half past seven in the evening. I would come here again!

Nice restaurant with friendly service. Our dog was allowed to accompany us inside. The food portions were generous. We were well fed. The veal schnitzel and chicken breast fillet were particularly tender. We'd love to come back.

Super friendly and quick service with humor, excellent food (tender pork medallions with perfect fried potatoes, very good goulash soup) -- we actually wanted to go to a different restaurant every day, we ended up there on the penultimate day of the trip and are coming tomorrow (last day before departure) again again. Absolutely recommended, the best of the restaurants we tested in Quedlinburg.

Unfortunately, the Bärenfanne for 33 euros was a total failure, everything was fried to death. We complained about it to the cellar, who told us he would take it off the bill, unfortunately we had to pay it in full on the instructions of the boss. That is unworthy of a hotel We know that the catering industry is having a hard time at the moment and we are ignoring a lot of things. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

We came here spontaneously for dinner and got a table straight away. It is home-style cuisine in the upper price segment. All dishes were super tasty and of great quality. The service staff was nice and accommodating. We would definitely come again.

Delicious snack, but way too much for one person. It's better to share. I could also order the snack vegetarian. Unfortunately, there was still pork aspic. That's more of a no-go

Exceptionally well prepared and good food. Very friendly and professional staff who took good care of their guests. The restaurant was experienced as genuinely German with modern dishes.

A friend (BIPoC) and I wanted to eat at this lovely restaurant on the market square yesterday. Even though it wasn't super crowded outside, there was no service despite several hand raisings and initial eye contact. Later we had the impression that people were deliberately not looking in our direction, even though the waitress came out several times. All other (white) restaurant guests were served in a relaxed manner. We asked ourselves whether the staff deliberately only served white people because of a racist background and left after waiting 20 minutes.

I was in the beautiful city twice last year (a world heritage site because of the cathedral but also because of the old town, which has now been restored. On the second visit I had lunch at the Bär with a good friend of mine. The price/performance ratio was very good, I'm writing this review belatedly because I want to report on an episode that I've never experienced before. Since the main course was far too rich, it was packed to take away. Why we forgot it, I have no idea. We But we were still able to eat it in Leipzig because the waiter ran behind us screaming loudly for about 300 m with our packed emergency provisions!

We ate at the “Bäre” on a Thursday. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but the service was attentive and courteous. We ate a very tasty shrimp pan as a starter, trout Müllerin and a wild garlic schnitzel as main courses. All dishes were very tasty and prepared with fresh ingredients. Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit.

A very nice restaurant with a cozy interior and friendly staff. The food was very tasty and the service was very accommodating. We chose the vegetarian dishes (breaded cauliflower and vegetarian meatballs with homemade hollandaise and salad) and were very satisfied. It's just a little more expensive than the restaurants nearby.

Nice home-style restaurant with prices in the upper range for this category. We just stopped here for a small snack. My husband had the goulash soup as the offer of the day and was very satisfied. Even though pork was used here, the soup was delicious. My baked potato wasn't particularly noteworthy, only the side salad was fresh and tasty.

Simple restaurant, without a reservation we had to wait a long time at 4 p.m. to see if there was still a table available. When we left again at 5:30 p.m., more than half of the tables were still empty. The food is simple but ok. The fried potatoes came to the table before the meat and were already only lukewarm. The lady would have taken you back but the meat was there for us. They were tasty nonetheless. For us as tourists it was ok, if we had stayed longer I would probably have chosen a different restaurant. Oh, the portion sizes are huge and the prices are moderate.

Reservations are not possible for non-hotel guests, but it's worth stopping by! The food was very tasty. The hotel's restaurant can be reached via the market square.

Der Service war sehr flott und freundlich. Es war heute voll und gut besucht. Die Speisen gut angerichtet nicht überwürzt. Das Ambiente war rustikal und zweckmäßig. Die Toiletten sauber und nutzbar. Es hatte uns allen gut gemundet, preislich ist hier gehobene Gastronomie zu finden.
