We ate here with the children and can really recommend it!

In my opinion, the price-performance-quality ratio for the food was not right and is not justified. Food is okay but clearly too expensive for the quality of the meat. I like to spend a lot of money on food but this wasn't right and I wouldn't eat there again. Service was good and attentive and also rated well.

Pork medallions were mediocre, bland in taste, a disappointment. The price is even sportier: 32.50 euros including beer! No recommendation.

The pan-fried vegetables were disappointingly cold, greasy, carrots from the frost, and too expensive for that. Bear pan is good for this, very lush

We were in the cafe. The waitress who picked us up was friendly. Even changed the cutlery when it fell down.

We love going here, sometimes before 12pm and sometimes around 5pm. I always ate shrimp pan. Great, of course all the other dishes too. I can only recommend this restaurant to all visitors to Quedlinburg.

You sit at the hotspot of Quedlinburg - very, very nice. The food was okay and the service “made an effort”.

First of all: the meat eaters were very enthusiastic. But as a vegetarian I was disappointed, I ordered a salad that was listed under vegetarian dishes and only consisted of some iceberg lettuce, a few cocktail tomatoes and cucumber slices. Disappointing for such a restaurant at this price. A Mediterranean vegetable (which I ate on another day because my enthusiastic grandparents wanted to eat meat again) was rather overcooked (and frozen vegetables) and on top there was frozen herb butter - at least it kept its attitude! ;) . Also disappointing. However, the service was very nice!

I stopped here for a drink a few times during my stay in Quedlinburg. The service is very friendly and attentive. The food I saw looked very good. It seems to be one of the few restaurants in Quedlinburg that doesn't close at half past seven in the evening. I would come here again!

The restaurant is ideally located on the market square in Quedlinburg. You can sit comfortably and watch the hustle and bustle on the market square in peace. The food is really very good and rich. The waitresses are cheerful and very attentive

Nice restaurant with friendly service. Our dog was allowed to accompany us inside. The food portions were generous. We were well fed. The veal schnitzel and chicken breast fillet were particularly tender. We'd love to come back.

Super friendly and quick service with humor, excellent food (tender pork medallions with perfect fried potatoes, very good goulash soup) -- we actually wanted to go to a different restaurant every day, we ended up there on the penultimate day of the trip and are coming tomorrow (last day before departure) again again. Absolutely recommended, the best of the restaurants we tested in Quedlinburg.

Unfortunately, the Bärenfanne for 33 euros was a total failure, everything was fried to death. We complained about it to the cellar, who told us he would take it off the bill, unfortunately we had to pay it in full on the instructions of the boss. That is unworthy of a hotel We know that the catering industry is having a hard time at the moment and we are ignoring a lot of things. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

We came here spontaneously for dinner and got a table straight away. It is home-style cuisine in the upper price segment. All dishes were super tasty and of great quality. The service staff was nice and accommodating. We would definitely come again.

Delicious snack, but way too much for one person. It's better to share. I could also order the snack vegetarian. Unfortunately, there was still pork aspic. That's more of a no-go

Really really delicious food. We ate schnitzel with white asparagus and that was poetry. Nice place to eat dinner.

Exceptionally well prepared and good food. Very friendly and professional staff who took good care of their guests. The restaurant was experienced as genuinely German with modern dishes.

A friend (BIPoC) and I wanted to eat at this lovely restaurant on the market square yesterday. Even though it wasn't super crowded outside, there was no service despite several hand raisings and initial eye contact. Later we had the impression that people were deliberately not looking in our direction, even though the waitress came out several times. All other (white) restaurant guests were served in a relaxed manner. We asked ourselves whether the staff deliberately only served white people because of a racist background and left after waiting 20 minutes.

I was in the beautiful city twice last year (a world heritage site because of the cathedral but also because of the old town, which has now been restored. On the second visit I had lunch at the Bär with a good friend of mine. The price/performance ratio was very good, I'm writing this review belatedly because I want to report on an episode that I've never experienced before. Since the main course was far too rich, it was packed to take away. Why we forgot it, I have no idea. We But we were still able to eat it in Leipzig because the waiter ran behind us screaming loudly for about 300 m with our packed emergency provisions!

We ate at the “Bäre” on a Thursday. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but the service was attentive and courteous. We ate a very tasty shrimp pan as a starter, trout Müllerin and a wild garlic schnitzel as main courses. All dishes were very tasty and prepared with fresh ingredients. Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit.

Very nice place to stay. Large and delicious pieces of cake as well as great coffee specialties at great prices. Unfortunately the service was a bit annoyed.

A very nice restaurant with a cozy interior and friendly staff. The food was very tasty and the service was very accommodating. We chose the vegetarian dishes (breaded cauliflower and vegetarian meatballs with homemade hollandaise and salad) and were very satisfied. It's just a little more expensive than the restaurants nearby.

Nice home-style restaurant with prices in the upper range for this category. We just stopped here for a small snack. My husband had the goulash soup as the offer of the day and was very satisfied. Even though pork was used here, the soup was delicious. My baked potato wasn't particularly noteworthy, only the side salad was fresh and tasty.

Reservations are not possible for non-hotel guests, but it's worth stopping by! The food was very tasty. The hotel's restaurant can be reached via the market square.

Simple restaurant, without a reservation we had to wait a long time at 4 p.m. to see if there was still a table available. When we left again at 5:30 p.m., more than half of the tables were still empty. The food is simple but ok. The fried potatoes came to the table before the meat and were already only lukewarm. The lady would have taken you back but the meat was there for us. They were tasty nonetheless. For us as tourists it was ok, if we had stayed longer I would probably have chosen a different restaurant. Oh, the portion sizes are huge and the prices are moderate.

Der Service war sehr flott und freundlich. Es war heute voll und gut besucht. Die Speisen gut angerichtet nicht überwürzt. Das Ambiente war rustikal und zweckmäßig. Die Toiletten sauber und nutzbar. Es hatte uns allen gut gemundet, preislich ist hier gehobene Gastronomie zu finden.

Ich habe das Kalbsschnitzel bestellt – sehr lecker.

Wir sind am Nachmittag dort essen gegangen. Wir haben einen unmöglichen Tisch bekommen und um uns herum, war ALLES ..wirklich alles leer .Wir waren die einzigen die drinnen gesessen haben, anne anderen saßen draußen. Ich frage mich bis heute, was das sollte. Warum haben wir den Tisch bekommen, wo direkt neben uns das Geschirr sortiert wurde, mitten im Gang. Unbegreiflich! Das Essen war sein Geld nicht wert. Nichtmal satt bin ich geworden. Geschmacklich war es ok ,aber auch nicht besser. Dafür teuer ! Der Service war mäßig. Allen die Sache mit dem Tisch gehört Für mich dazu. Als wir gegangen sind, war es im übrigen drinnen immernoch leer !

Tolles und Sauberes Hotel mit freundlichem und hilfsbereiten Personal. Schöne Zimmer. Kein Aufzug vorhanden. Gemütliches Restaurant mit gutem Essen.

When I visited on a Sunday evening the restaurant was not crowded at all. The dish I ordered "Quedlinburger Brotzeit" was interesting as it consisted of several items that were local to the Harz region. Actually many of them were also served at the hotel breakfast. The service was good.

Die „Tagessuppe“ war eine ausgezeichnet abgeschmeckte Spargelsuppe. Der „kleine“ Salatteller war frisch, reichlich und mit einem leckeren Joghurt Dressing. Freundliche Bedienung und wunderbare Aussenplätze um das bunte Leben auf dem Marktplatz zu genießen. Sehr zu empfehlen 👍

Nettes freundliches Personal das sich um die Belange seiner Gäste kümmert.

Wir hatten hier für 8 Personen reserviert - das hat problemlos geklappt, leider konnten wir deshalb trotz des schönen Wetters nur drinnen sitzen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und bemüht. Wir saßen sehr bequem und es war eine ruhige Atmosphäre. Das Essen war lecker. Ich hatte eine selbstgemachte Erdbeer-Rhabarber Limonade, die ausgezeichnet war.

Sehr freundlich, gutes Essen, schneller Service. Auf Kinder wurde eingegangen, vom bequemen Kinderstuhl, Besteck und Ausmalkarte alles vorhanden. Auch wenn der Altersdurchschnitt der Gäste hoch erscheint, modernes Essen und alles sehr ansprechend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und haben uns geärgert das wir erst am letzten Tag den Bären entdeckt haben.

Als Hotelgast habe ich hier gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen. Die Angestellten sind überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Beim Frühstück fehlte es an nichts und auch abends kann man aus einer zwar eher kleinen, aber feinen Karte wählen. Edit: kurzfristig mal wieder in Quedlinburg gewesen, in anderem Hotel untergebracht, aber hier einmal wieder das tolle Frühstücksbuffet genutzt, sowie den Mittagstisch.

Ein nettes Restaurant mit leckerem Essen. Was besonders hervorzuheben ist, das Restaurant ist sehr familienfreundlich. Die nette Kellnerin brachte mit den Speisekarten auch eine Kinderkarte die man ausmalen kann. Auch Buntstifte stellte sie wie selbstverständlich hin. Einfach toll und für mich besonders empfehlenswert.

Trattoria da Mario War wieder ein schöner Abend, mit guten Essen.

Wir saßen drinnen im Restaurant, obwohl es bei dem milden Wetter draußen auch schön gewesen wäre. Der Service war leicht überlastet, aber alle waren sehr freundlich und bemüht. Mein Hähnchenfilet a l'orange war köstlich. Ich war ganz begeistert. Das Kalbsschnitzel war auch gut, aber nur gut und nicht so toll wie meine Wahl. Wir saßen sehr bequem und es war eine ruhige Atmosphäre.

We joined the breakfast buffet without being booked in the hotel and were positively surprised. 15 Euro for a full buffet including coffee and juice. Fresh scrambled eggs and buns, large variety of cold cuts and desserts. Beautiful views across the market place. Five stars!

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, toller Service und sehr leckers Essen. Wer deutsche Küche mag, ist dort genau richtig. Aus meiner Sicht, ist es das beste Restaurant in Quedlinburg.

Korzystaliśmy z restauracji hotelowej awaryjnie bo w naszym obiekcie restauracja nie była czynna. Wrażenia doskonałe. Przemiła obsluga, obficie i różnorodnie wyposażony bufet. Dzięki tym miłym ludziom każdy dzień zaczynaliśmy z pozytywnym nastawieniem.

Die Preis/Leistung ist leider mit Hinsicht auf Portionsgröße und Qualität unzureichend...

Gutes Essen. Hatte einen Zander, der war super.

Das Essen war lecker, ist selber gekocht und der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Die Protion fand ich ordentlich, sodass auch ich satt wurde. Ein Beilagenwechsel (ohne zusätzliche Kosten) war überhaupt kein Problem. Allgemein ist es preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Beim nächsten Besuch in Quedlinburg kehren wir hier sicher nochmal ein.

Während unseres Kurzurlaubes in Quedlinburg wollten wir gerne in der Stadt frühstücken. Nach mehreren gescheiterten Anläufen in verschiedenen Lokalitäten kamen wir am Café des Hotel Bär vorbei. Von der Bedienung wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und platziert. Die gewählten Frühstücksangebote waren sehr reichlich und ansprechend arrangiert. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir am Folgetag gleich nochmal dort gefrühstückt haben. Vielen Dank!

Hier muß man sich von der kleinen langhaarigen, blonden Service-Kraft mit der dunklen Brille anpampen lassen, weil wir nicht auf die Ihr gesehen hatten und vor Öffnung reinkamen. Die Tür war geöffnet und wir hatten auf der Durchreise Hunger und die Uhrzeit nicht auf dem Schirm. Danach wollten wir eigentlich ins benachbarte Restaurant Markt7 gehen, aber dort war zu und wir wollten essen und dann weiter. Also doch wieder da rein. Plötzlich war die Servicekraft übertrieben freundlich. Essen war soweit okay., Aber eben Geschmackssache. Angedickter Orangensaft als Sauce... Glasierte Möhren, die als ausgewachsene Mohrrüben kamen, habe ich vor 30 Jahren das letzte Mal auf einer Speisekarte gesehen. Nudeln, Fleisch und Bratkartoffeln waren lecker. Zum Steak in 3 Teilen.. hätten wir uns Kräuterbutter gewünscht. Fazit: wir nicht noch mal

Gut gelegene Location, setzen die Corona Maßnahmen sehr strikt um. Essen gut, Bedienung nett... nicht überragend, aber alles in allem ok. Eher hochpreisig. Zieht euch warm an, es ist nicht zu warm!!!
