Barbarossa Steak House in Kehl

Barbarossa in Kehl remains a safe bet every time we go there. The dishes are generous, tasty, and superbly presented, whether it's the hot plates or the burgers; everything is always perfectly mastered. The service is fast. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and you feel at home from the moment you arrive. We paid around €20 per person. A little tip: bring cash as they don't always take menus. Remember to arrive a little early or make a reservation, as the place is very popular. I recommend it without hesitation if you're looking for a good place in Kehl where you can eat well without any unpleasant surprises.

Very good place. We were there with the whole family and everyone really enjoyed it, the food was excellent, the staff was very nice and the room itself was very nicely decorated.

We were there last Saturday after a boxing event. We were looking for a restaurant that still offers warm food after 11 p.m. The steakhouse stays open until 3 a.m. The employees were very friendly and personable. The food was outstanding! Service excellent! We had a burger, cheese kofta, babaganoush and an entrecôte with bulgur.

I went to eat this Sunday evening on the terrace with a friend. I didn't pay attention to the price of the drinks. The lamb chops were listed at €19, so €38, both with 2 rounds of picon, the waiter asked me 64 € when my friend took 1 round the same thing it cost 8.50€ I was robbed of 9 € and like an idiot I left her a 2 € tip

Everything is very nice, but it is very repulsive that they only accept cash as payment method. We are in the age of technology, we do not understand why.

The welcome is very nice, the taste of the meat is great, but the prices are very high, that's the only problem.

Lovely family-owned place, open throughout the day, so you can eat tasty food without sticking to the usual lunch or dinner hours. The plates are big, excellent choice of meat and chicken dishes, I highly recommend the traditional lentil soup and chicken barbeque with potato done in the oven. You would not regret the visit, the wonderful service, the cozy atmosphere, excellent food and the possibility to taste traditional food.

Very good and fresh food, salad crispy. Everything very delicately seasoned. Portions large. Unfortunately, card payment was not possible and it was relatively cool inside. The heating was off.

At first glance, the portions of the burgers don't look particularly large. This is deceptive because you are full. The burgers were very good and had a lot of toppings, nice to see that they didn't skimp on it, a huge plus point. The service is very nice. Even in larger groups there isn't a long wait for food. I'll definitely be back.

We were Saturday evening in this restaurant, we were not served the starters, supposedly forgotten, there were 18 people, the fries arrived not cooked, the waiter was not pleasant. Not happy at all

The food was top notch. The meat came as ordered and quite quickly. When reordering drinks, you have to take action yourself and call the waiter to the table. This is probably because most people eat quickly and leave straight away. But we wanted to sit there for a while and enjoy cocktails. Otherwise the service is friendly. The atmosphere is very cozy. But since there are a lot of guests coming and going, the door is constantly opening. We had our table near the door. That's why it was very cold there and my feet were ice cold. Nevertheless, it was very good and we would like to come back. We just prefer to sit in the back of the restaurant.

A Turkish welcome, always very generous dishes and more than hospitable waiters, that's what we can remember about this restaurant. The cuisine represents their country well; flavor and scents. Staff who are always smiling and attentive despite the often hectic pace required by the profession. We're not in Türkiye, but we almost feel like we are there. I naturally give 5 stars.

Unfortunately a total disaster. The vegetables look like frozen goods from the supermarket. The "BEEF FILET" 250g was a slice of "sausage" for €32. For a restaurant on the German side of the Rhine it is a sad thing that ordering in German is almost impossible. A lot of money was spent on bad food and then immediately stopped at the kebab around the corner to get full. And we're not normally that petty...but this meal was just an insult.

I had heard a lot of good things about the Barbarossa Steak House and now that I have tried it I can attest to it The place is great, warm atmosphere, quality food, thanks to Firat for his service and good humor! It makes all the difference I would come back!! :)

It had been some time since we had been there, we were happy to go back.... But it was disappointing.... We certainly arrived "early" (6:30 p.m.) but the room was not not yet in place... We were seated, took our orders... When I went to the toilet, I noticed that the first door did not have a lock... Never mind, I tried the second. .. As the frame of this one was no longer sealed in the wall, I abstained..... The meal was served and there, disappointment.... The burgers were nothing special compared to what they had been, dry and rather bland... Too bad....

Food was ok, fries are fried with old oil. Operator can't speak any language. I ordered the sauce 3 times but didn't come until I got to the bar twice and the server was still sitting at the food.

We go there very often as a family for birthdays, the food is very good, the cocktails incredible. The service is good. A great discovery in Kehl, really a nice place for a successful dinner. The service is very pleasant and efficient despite the large crowds, the dishes come out really quickly. We booked for 6, the reservation was respected, customers without reservations had to wait and everything was handled very professionally. The menu offers Turkish specialties but also excellent meats. It’s a shame that the carpaccio wasn’t a little more generous because it was excellent. Really good grills and burgers too. I highly recommend this restaurant

Eat : Unfortunately, all of the food was cold. Meat, fries. Potato, pepper sauce When we complained, our steaks (looked more like schnitzel) were taken into the kitchen and I put the fries I had bitten off on top, and not even 5 minutes later the plates came back, probably put in the microwave. When it was back at the table, my plate looked exactly the same as when I handed it up, as if stale steak fries had been warmed up and served. So honestly. If I pay the price of over €30 per person for steak, I expect a reasonable meal. My wife and I leave the store very disappointed and will never enter it again. A pity !!! Service: Another sentence about the staff, it's nice that the staff can speak French, but they should also be able to speak at least German. Nice alone isn't enough for me here. Ambiance: too many tables and everything too narrow

Really shameful the service offered by this restaurant! The reservation was validated and we were surprised to find that there was no room when we went there... To make us wait, the waitress placed us in a semi-cellar which smelled of cigarettes ...I've never had the opportunity to see this before. In short, never again

Backstage Arcade, In shock we found ourselves backstage at the restaurant in a gloomy arcade room. Although we had reserved it was our surprise when we were refused access to a table despite having previously made a reservation. No commercial gesture was made so that we could stay. We were treated like rats and thrown into a room that stank of cigarettes. We would have liked it to be an April Fool’s joke…

Ashamed!! We had reservations and came on time to break the fast but our places were taken. We were kept waiting and offered no solution. A couple in front of us suffered the same fate with the seller's bonus telling them they came late. If you don't know the managers, don't take the risk of going there. Very nice April Fools

Food was great, unfortunately we were literally thrown out after 2 hours because the table was already reserved for others. We had reserved the table in advance by phone and were not told that it was only for 2 hours. You should work on that.

Where to start I don't know. I went there for the first time. We waited almost 35.40 minutes to take our order. So we have to order a burger which was good, unlike the 2nd order - KAVURMA SAC WITH LAMB - so that in the end we put 3 small pieces of lamb my almost 3 good big tomatoes cut limit you have to look for the pieces of meat because there was no meat at all. €17.50 for tomatoes. I didn't ask for breakfast sir... I don't recommend the - KAVURMA SAC - frankly, really a shame.... JUST THE COCA WAS REALLY WELL GOING DOWN LOL.

Das Essen war ok. Meine Pommes waren kalt. Der Kellner hat das durch kräftiges Auflegen der Hand auf die Pommes bestätigt. Habe nach ca 5min genau diese Pommes wieder zurückbekommen - jetzt oben warm und unten immer noch kalt. Es würde dem Ambiente nützen, wenn man ein paar Tische weniger im Restaurant hätte. Dann klappt’s vielleicht auch mit den Pommes 😉

2 étoiles en moins pour le service qui n’était pas du tout au rendez vous. Les cocktails sont arrivé avec 10min d’intervalle. Des plats ont été retiré de la table avant que tout le monde aient fini de manger. Nous avons du demander 3 fois la carte des desserts, au bout de 30 min, ne voyant aucun serveur se préoccuper de notre table, nous sommes parti sans manger de desserts. Le serveur n’était pas du tout accueillant. Les plats plutôt bons, mais c’est tout.

Les plats sont savoureux. L'équipe familiale aux petits soins, très fière du travail accompli par leur papa qui a littéralement construit le restaurant de ses mains. Les déco est soigné et classe. Les prix sont abordables Je n'est pas mis 5 étoiles juste car il n'y a pas le choix d'un plat léger, sinon tout est parfait 👍🏼
