Delicious food, outstanding service!

I only ordered from Uber Eats and found my Chicken Madras really delicious, as well as the homemade naan. The only thing to criticize is the salad with half a shot glass of dressing, but I wasn't expecting that when I ordered, so no points deducted. The price/performance ratio is definitely right here 👍🏽

Overall, I was satisfied, as the food was delicious and the staff very friendly. I just think the portions could be a bit larger (a little more rice would help). It wasn't very busy, but we still had to wait a while, and no one came to take our drinks for a bit, which meant we could only order drinks once at the beginning and then not again. Otherwise, it's very cozy and nicely decorated.

Very child-friendly staff, good Indian food. You will definitely leave satisfied. Excellent value for money. Indian music plays continuously.

I've been to many Indian restaurants, but this one tastes the best. I like the quiet and discreet ambiance. I especially recommend the lamb kasmeri (I don't know how to spell that... =))

We always ordered for pickup. It was quick and no problem. The salad could have used more dressing. Unfortunately, the naan bread is disappointing – it's store-bought, and you can really taste it. Why are you currently closed for so long? Will you be reopening soon?

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered food for delivery and had to wait >2.5 hours, even though we were told it would be 50 minutes. One of the four meals was no longer edible because it leaked in the bag. After a while the rest was of course cold and watery. No understanding from the driver or the boss on the phone. They didn't want to give a discount, just empty promises that the next order would be free. But suddenly no one can remember the incident anymore.

I was very impressed with the quality of the food. Indian cuisine is a worthwhile experience for everyone, and the prices are reasonable. The delivery service was very friendly and arrived on time.

It’s great that it opens at 11:00 am on Sundays. Service was good—it helped we were there alone. Nice interior. The food was good. Well spiced. Rice came with the dish—a nice plus. The mango lassi was quite good and a good portion. The vegetables in the chicken tikka were a bit salty or overly spiced—I found myself drinking a lot of water afterwards. Still a good meal. I would go back.

Relaxed and homely, simple Indian restaurant. Just what we like. Classic dishes, well done. The cleanliness of the toilets was disappointing.

Update: I apologize for not checking the website before coming. However, most people check Google maps before going to places. Maybe I'm wrong for writing that comment. However, you attacking not me, but my country means that your deep-rooted racism is far beyond means and clearly you went overboard. YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS TO ATTACK MY ETHICITY!!!!! I hope people make an informed decision before visiting your restaurant. In this business, you have to be level headed. I apologize for me overlooking those details but that doesn't mean you have the rights to attack my people.

Very tasty and authentic Indian cuisine. The paneer in particular is extremely tasty.

We loved our lunch here. We like Indian food in general and search it out in our travels. We were impressed with the quality and serving sizes offered here. The "Auntie" that cooked up the meal really satisfied us. The spiciness was spot on for their European audience. A bit of heat but not overwhelming. The side breads were delicious and the basmati fresh. Thank you!

Food is good in itself. Only the service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff disappears into the kitchen without a trace and doesn't check on their customers. It then takes a long time until they show up again. In addition, the tip was simply rounded up when paying by card.

45 minutes of waiting time for a simple rice dish from the (short) lunch menu is simply unacceptable, especially when there are only two other tables occupied in the almost completely empty restaurant (less than 10% of the seating capacity), at least one of which has already been served. The dish I ordered was not what I expected based on the menu. I've been eating Indian food regularly for over thirty years and can say that I now know a bit about it... The food was, to say the least, quite unspectacularly seasoned (you can get that better in the frozen section of a discount store), but it was totally oversalted! What's more, it was very little. Overall, a really bad value for money. Even my drink was stale. There may be restaurants that you might want to give a second chance to because any mistakes were "forgivable" or maybe it wasn't all bad. However, this establishment in Kehl is not one of them.

All in all I liked it. Lights in and around the toilet should come on automatically. Otherwise it's a search game.

Incomprehensibly we were the only guests. Therefore, the landlady had to be woken up by her husband, who was sleeping in the guest room. Understandable, but it killed the ambience a bit. Otherwise nicely furnished, very good Indian food, everything seemed clean, the service was nice and quick and moderate prices: definitely a recommendation. The only thing is that the location is very hidden, so probably not a lot of passing customers and more of an insider tip.

We had a reservation confirmed by phone at Christmas and that day they said they weren't open! You can't make plans like that...

Nach einem langen Einkaufsbummel ließ der Hunger auch nicht auf sich warten. Haben uns für dieses Restaurant entschieden ohne es zu kennen und es hat sich gelohnt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und das Essen übertraf meine Erwartungen. Preis/Leistung passt. Kann ich empfehlen, vorausgesetzt, indisches Essen und die Gewürze sind gewollt. Das einzige, was nicht passte, war dass der Reis kein Basmatireis war, sondern Parboiled. War dennoch sehr lecker.

C'est un bon indien. Des prix abordables et le personnel est très gentil. Tout d'abord, je fut surprise des quantités proposées : environ 7-8 bouts de viande (en l'occurrence du poulet) très gros, dans chaque plat !! Est-ce des "rations pour allemands" communes à tous les restaurants germaniques ou une particularité de cet indien ? Les plats copieux était très bon. 1ere photo : Chicken Cheese / 2eme photo : chichen ticka. Bien que le Chicken Cheese soit la recommandation du chef, je vous le déconseille car peu épicé et c'est une sauce très crémeuse qui peut déplaire. Je ne met "que" 4 étoiles, car l'attente pour recevoir les plats fut trop longue ! 1h d'attente en sachant que nous sommes arrivé les premiers, et que nous étions que 6 dans le restaurant.... Par ailleurs, je me dois de faire un commentaire sur la terrasse ! L'accès est bizarrement fait et surtout lors de notre passage, un homme faisait des travaux dans l'enceinte du restaurant... Compte tenu de tout cela, j'aurai aimé attribuer la note de 3,5 mais Google ne permet pas les décimales... Je préfère arrondir au chiffre supérieur c'est à dire 4.

I was there with a couple of friends and man, this is one of the best places to eat in general in Kehl/Strasbourg. Perfectly prepared meat, (Indian) spicy sauce was really spicy but not killing the dish taste, naan bread with cheese inside was amazing! If you love spicy stuff, you like cheese and you can eat meat - you should definitely visit here.

Si vous cherchez un restaurant indien, au goût et saveur provenant directement des Indes, n'hésitez plus le saffron éléphant est fait pour vous. Cuisine fraiche, plat copieux, prix peu onéreux et accueil chaleureux que demander de plus. Une carte des plus fournis. Tout un choix de poulet à toutes les sauces, curry, tandoori, cheese, chili massala et j'en passe. Leur cheese nan sont un must. À ne surtout pas manquer.

Essen sehr lecker, könnte nur etwas schärfer sein. Der Paneer ist selbst gemacht und hat ein hohen Suchtfaktor. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben heute 19.3.23 online über Lieferando bestellt. Punkt 19 Uhr klingelte es wie bestellt an der Tür- wir konnten es kaum glauben! Absolut Spitzen Service! Das Essen war sehr reichlich und super lecker! Wir bestellen definitiv wieder!!!! DANKE

The food was some of the best Indian food we’ve ever had. Everything was packed full of awesome flavors and the meat was tender. We stopped here just passing through but if we are ever in town again, we would definitely eat here again.

Wirklich Leckeres Essen, aufmerksame Bedienung. Für mich persönlich lag das Ambiente bei ca 80%, kann aber auch an unserem Sitzplatz in einer engen Ecke gelegen haben

Bin grundsätzlich sehr skeptisch in das Restaurant gegangen, da meine bisherige Erfahrung mit indischem Essen... sagen wir nicht wirklich mit positiven Emotionen verknüpft waren. Wurde aber positiv überrascht. Die Auswahl war groß, die Wartezeiten gut, das Essen lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Wir haben das Essen bestellt ca 1std war es da. Mango-Curry Hähnchen hatte ich und es war SEHR lecker. Salat und ein knackiges dünnes Brot gabs umsonst dazu. Habe mir noch frittierte Hähnchen mit Kichererbsen-Marinade bestellt und ein Knoblauchbrot was auch unfassbar lecker war. Das Restaurant kann man nur weiter empfehlen, Personal auch sehr zuvorkommend 10/10

We were back after many years and were not sure what to expect. The restaurant was open, and though was not well frequented, we were glad we stopped by. We had lamb curry, chicken tikka, garlic naan, and drinks. They were all good. Service was also good. We will come back when we visit Kehl again.
