Dear friends, so I thought I'd get a yufka again, since I used to be a regular customer and came here at least two or three times a week. But now... the flatbread was huge, but ice cold – they could have just popped it in the oven for a bit. The meat topping was very sparse and at most lukewarm – the same goes for the vegetables. Because the flatbread is so big, there are naturally some thick, empty patches – unfortunately, the delicious flavor (sauce/meat) is missing – it used to be really good!! It was nice, though, that the long-serving employees greeted me with a friendly smile, letting me know they still remembered me. So – I'll come back again and make sure it's right next time... See you then!

I am deeply shocked!!! There was a metal wire in my yufka (see picture). I cut myself on it while eating and luckily noticed it in time before I swallowed it. Something like this should never happen in a food establishment. I would like to explicitly warn other customers to be especially vigilant—this incident has severely shaken my trust in the store!

I ordered my yufka with beef, but I found pieces of chicken in it. The chicken wasn't even cooked through. I'm really disappointed with the place.

A while ago, we visited the Baran Grill Restaurant in Weilimdorf. I'd been there a few years ago when it was still called Baran Kebap. A lot has changed since then, especially the menu. We sat down at the back of the restaurant and ordered our food. We chose Adana kebabs. After a few minutes, we received our appetizer salad and two different meze dishes: Haydari (yogurt with mint) and Ezme (chopped tomatoes with parsley, garlic, and spices). The salad was acceptable, though very vinegary. The Haydari was mild but still good. Unfortunately, the Ezme was inedible. It tasted stale. Homemade bread was also served, but it didn't arrive until the main course. So we didn't get to enjoy the appetizers very much. The Adana kebabs tasted good, but some of them were burnt, as were the accompanying vegetables. The salad was tasty, but some of the meat was burnt. All in all, there are several areas for improvement that need to be addressed for this place to become a true alternative in the area. Currently, it isn't quite there for me. I found it somewhat irritating that a Yaprak kebab was listed on the menu in many places, but it wasn't available. When I inquired, I was told it would be added soon. Even several weeks later, when I spontaneously bought a doner kebab there, the Yaprak kebab was still unavailable.

I had incredibly good pizza today, and my girlfriend also had a visually appealing and delicious pide. The team does a fantastic job. Highly recommended.

Very good experience! We were passing through Stuttgart for the Oktoberfest event, we went to this kebab shop by pure chance! And surprise! Everything was very, very clean! Very fresh, well-garnished sandwiches, pide with homemade pasta, kebab with fresh bread. Very, very good! I recommend it 100 percent! The manager and workers are great!

Good, large portions, good value for money. Unfortunately, some items were unavailable that day, but we still managed to find what we were looking for and found the food delicious. The only downside...it's very loud when the chairs are moved.

Yufka bread is cold, and it's no longer reheated. Pre-cut meat is also cold. You end up paying for a cold lunch with you. Previously, the dürüm was reheated, and freshly cut meat was warm. Why is it cold now? This four times in a row can't be a coincidence.

This is a really good Turkish grill restaurant. We had lahmacun, Adana kebab and chicken wings on skewers. All of them were delicious. The staff were friendly and kind. It is located near the Lower Market in Weilimdorf. Definitely recommended.

We had a yufka and a doner kebab, but unfortunately, the meat-to-salad ratio was not right in both cases. There was too much meat in the salad, and you had to search for it. I'm very disappointed with the staff, who always manage to ruin my kebab. I recently ordered a beef kebab and ended up with a chicken one, but unfortunately, I didn't see it until I got home when I unwrapped it. If something like that happens once, I'm okay with it, but unfortunately, it happens all the time at Baran. I just ordered a kebab and specifically asked them to please put a little less sauce on it. When I unwrapped it at home, there was so much sauce on it that the kebab was unbearable, and I even had to throw it away. It's a real shame, especially considering I just paid €9.50 for my kebab and the staff don't listen at all to how you want your kebab.

The doner, which felt ready made and was not authentic, did not taste good. The images were misleading and not accepting credit cards or contactless was problematic as we were not made aware of this fact beforehand.

I decided to try a donner kebab at this restaurant. I thought it was delicious, but it has way too many vegetables for my taste. It's quite large, but perfect if I'm really hungry. The staff is very friendly and attentive to their customers, and it's very clean and organized.

I took some with me, came home, and realized that they had simply filled my kebab with the burnt remains of the other finished kebab skewer, which they usually throw in the trash. The whole thing landed right in the trash, simply inedible! A very clever move to save some meat, but immediately lose a customer. Isn't it? Outrageous!

I've been going to Baran since I was a toddler and have never been disappointed.

I used to come here a lot but just ordered tuna pizza. Tuna including cheese falls off the dough because there is too much tuna on it. It smells very strange and tastes very bad too. I think they just put the leftovers from the expired tuna on me. Bah🤢

The food gave me an evening on the toilet I ate there and really wonder if these "restaurateurs" know what they are doing. The meat and rice were cold! I didn't eat it all. The bread wasn't fresh... but now the dangerous thing: The yogurt sauce was cooled... and what can I say: my intestines released it straight away. I developed gastrointestinal cramps and significant stomach problems. It is the first time in my life that I will forward this to food control accordingly. If anyone thinks I'm exaggerating: I'm a former restaurateur. And that's a long way away in northern Germany. So no competitor. But I can judge it. What they are doing there is dangerous in my opinion.

It is an excellent business where I always come and enjoy the food and the employees are always friendly and helpful. I recommend everyone to come.

That was the worst kebab I've ever eaten, the meat was the cheapest quality, I think even with pork because there was so much fat in it and they were probably saving on gas because they didn't grill the meat properly. When we sat at the table, I'll start Employee probably 10 minutes he didn't want to look away but wanted to look straight into my eyes while eating!! I gave him hand signals twice, is there a problem? But keep starting at me, the bread wasn't warmed up but this meat smelled so bad and the aftertaste no matter what I ate or drank the taste was there because I think they are saving on gas that's why the meat isn't completely cooked and the cheapest meat is like that white yellow, actually when I saw the skewer I wanted to get out, we paid 40 euros for 2 yufka, one fries, 3 drinks of coke etc, the shop is not recommended, they have to offer better meat and bring the prices down, the shop is nice but the quality is a catastrophe, I never actually write reviews but that really pissed me off. We were hungry, we walked there for 10 minutes and paid so much, I think the meat was 60% pork and the rest was some leftovers, it was just too greasy for me I hope the health department checks it and maybe something changes because of my post. I put my yufka down after 3 bites. Meat that stinks doesn't work at all. If you want to save gas, make a skewer and good meat and 2 fewer employees then the kebab can be good I wouldn't even give meat to dogs, I'm sure there was pig in it, pig has a lot of fat and has to be grilled properly otherwise you'll smell it, if I knew there was pig in it I would report them, but the health department has to take samples first

Baran Kebab stands out from normal kebab shops and can also be considered a restaurant. Quality and service are important here. The employees are extremely nice and the prices correspond to the normal prices in Stuttgart. The kebab here tastes good and the meat is not stingy.

I discovered this shop by chance and since then I drive a few extra kilometers just to Baran when I want to eat kebab. By far the best kebab in Stuttgart and the portions are good too. Always my pleasure

My visit to the Baran Kebab kebab shop at the Lion Market left me with mixed feelings. I opted for a kebab plate with fries and kebab meat, and although the portion itself was fine, I can't ignore the fact that the price of €14 is simply excessive. The kebab meat was of poor quality and seemed to be a cheap standard product that in no way justified the high price. Unfortunately, the bread that was served was also hard, which further detracted from the overall experience. The fries were average and the service and ambience of the store were fine. Still, I can't ignore the fact that the food wasn't worth the high price I paid. What was particularly disappointing was the employee asking if I would like ketchup on my kebab plate. Every real kebab lover knows that ketchup has no place in a kebab plate. Only when I asked was I offered an appropriate sauce, but it was applied extremely sparingly. All in all, I can't recommend Baran Kebab at the Lion Market. The price/performance ratio is simply not right and for a high quality kebab you should look elsewhere.

Wirklich sehr lecker. Große Portionen. Einen Kellnerservice gibt es welcher das bestellte Essen zügig an den Platz bringt. Für eine „Dönerbude“ doch sehr Gehoben. Freundliches Ambiente im leicht orientalischen Stil. Auch mittags meist noch freie Sitzplätze. Ich komme immer gerne hier her. Die Preise massiv gestiegen was einen wöchentlichen Besuch erschwert. Dennoch lohnt es sich jedes Mal wieder zu kommen.

War heute das erste mal auf Empfehlung mit einem Freund beim Baran Döner. Habe schon lange nicht mehr so einen guten Döner gegessen! Das Brot absolut ein Traum und die Kombi mit dem Fleisch und der Soße einfach lecker. Komme gerne wieder! Alles frisch Personal sehr nett!

Freundlich , zuvorkommend , Wünsche werden unkompliziert erfüllt. Essen war sehr gut und reichlich. Döner Teller ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Nicht nur Fleisch und Pommes sonder auch guter gemischter Salat. Preis Leistung 👍 gut Wenn man Glück hat bekommt man direkt vor der Türe einen Parkplatz.

Mit der Hand ohne Handschuhe die Gurken auf das Salat, als ich Ihn angesprochen hab was das sein soll, sagte er Ruhe .Die Gurken hab ich dann weggelassen. Daraufhin wurde mir beabsichtigt die Reste vom Dönerspieß Serviert und mit Messer kleingehackt.Das geht mal garnicht. 14eur für Dönerteller und dann so. Bravo👏

Schneller Service Großer Döner mit gutem Brot, nicht zu teigig Fleisch ist Hackfleisch was nicht so meins ist da es schnell langweilig und nur nach Gewürz schmeckt

Esse bei Baran Kebab mittlerweile über 10 Jahren und ist seid dem immer noch 1a. Der Teig wird selber gemacht und schmeckt sehr gut.
