Nice little restaurant. Food was very tasty and came quickly. The waitress was very nice and gave us a dessert on the house (also very, very tasty).

While we were looking for good ramen in Munich, we happened upon the small and cozy Baoz! Bar bumped. It was busy at lunchtime. The ramen with the braised pork belly is highly recommended. The broth is very intense and a real taste experience for lovers of both normal and spicy food. Price-performance is top.

There is almost no sago in the coconut milk sago, and the coconut milk has no coconut flavor but is a little sour. Chicken drumstick rice is very dry

I did not want to write a review, but the food was very DISAPPOINTING. I ordered the noodle soup with smoked pork belly and the gua bao with beef. The noodle soup is inedible!!! It has a good taste, maybe too salty, but the aftertaste is HORRIBLE. It was a feeling of saltiness and discomfort that I have never felt before. It just goes away after a few minutes. The worst part is that you can feel it from the beginning. You can't really eat it, it just feels too bad in your mouth. The gua was not salty, but it had no taste. After I almost finished it, I noticed that the vegetables inside looked kind of old. I don't know if eating at this place is different, but at least I will never recommend ordering from here. It is a shame, because I feel like they packed everything very well, it looked very promising. The coconut milk I got for "free" was actually good.

Food was very yummy and affordable. The pork belly rice bowl is especially to my taste. The dumplings were just ok though. Service nice and fast.

The two of us ordered 3 Bao Bun Burgers each and sat outside. The burgers were ok but the meat was sometimes rubbery and didn't seem really fresh. The ambience isn't great either, as you either sit on rickety chairs outside on the sidewalk or quite cramped inside.

Serving traditional noodles, rice and soup dumplings, this restaurant may be a bit cramped but the food is worth it. There are some seating outside and can accommodate large groups up to 7 people. The pork they serve is braised in a delicious soya sauce base. The soup dumplings are delicious and the pork buns are wonderful. There are vegetarian options that are just as good. The service was excellent and fast. We were also gifted with an excellent sago and mango pudding dessert.

The food is delicious, the lady is super patient and the service is great! Recommend the spicy and sour beef rice noodles! Recommend the xiaolongbao and steamed dumplings!

Came here specially from Stu to taste it. The pork belly has a fat but not greasy aftertaste, and a sweet and sweet taste. It is worth visiting Munich friends to come and experience it😋

This is by very far the best soup I’ve ever eaten. Tofu, Chicken, Porkbelly. Choose any, you’re going to be blown out of the water. Highly recommended. Also very delicious Bao Burger and Xiao Long Bao

The portion is quite large, but the soup is sweet, which is a bit strange. Sometimes desserts are provided and sometimes not. I don’t even know if they come with desserts.

Yes! Delicious and real Chinese food in Munich. The stuff is very nice and the dishes are big and cheap. Everything is super tasty. I wish I knew this place before!

2024.05 Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated, both in terms of taste and portions. The baozi was not soft and fluffy but flat and yellow in color. Sauce flowed everywhere and made the baozi even more soggy. And the pickles inside were very salty. And the braised pork, which I previously enjoyed very much, no longer came in good, large pieces but rather like leftovers or leftovers (it's a shame I didn't take a photo). Was here last summer and the food had the same problems. I'm really disappointed. Even if the service is very nice, I wouldn't come back. A pity. #supportyourlocal!! They have great deals on weekdays! A bowl 7.5 euros! Tasty and authentic, the menu is inexpensive. And you have to wait a while (sometimes rather long) Baozi with pork is highly recommended! The skin of Peking duck is too greasy, otherwise it tastes good. The others are so-so. The service is always very nice.

The Baoz Bar has now become my favorite bar in Munich. Here you can get the best hot and sour soup with tofu and a very tasty coconut milk with sago pearls as a dessert on the house! The food is also very cheap at lunchtime and you can put together the bowl yourself.

After a long walk on a cold rainy day, we were looking for a hot meal to warm us up, and this restaurant didn't disappoint. The locale is small but cozy, and everything was clean and tidy. As for the food, there's a very easy system to create your dish by selecting first the kind of meat you want, and then the sides and the broth. Mine was extremely tasty, with high-quality ingredients and overall freshness. I highly recommend the pork meat, as it's sweet and tender, adding a special flavor to the dish. To finish the meal, the restaurant serves a small cup of coconut milk with mango, which is incredibly refreshing and perfect to balance your palate after all the strong flavors you just experienced. I highly recommend this restaurant and hope to visit it again very soon.

Had a wonderful dining experience here! The food was great and came at a decent price. Service was quick, and the ambiance was enhanced by some lovely lo-fi Asian music, which added to the overall pleasant vibe of the place. They even surprised us with a free dessert at the end of our meal! Highly recommended.

I ate the most delicious and fluffy baos in London. I tried it here in Munich and what can I say...as soon as I unpacked it and took the first bite, they unfortunately ended up in the trash again. Shame about the food and the money. The buns are firm and there is no loose, fluffy dough as it should be. The chicken, I was disgusted to even try it with the skin and these chicken hairs. You couldn't eat the ones with the glass noodles, everything fell out and it wasn't spicy anymore Once and never again…Thank you for nothing

The Baoz! Bar brings authentic Chinese cuisine to the heart of Munich! When it comes to dishes, you can choose between different types of meat and tofu. Whether it's bao, noodle soup or rice bowl, all dishes are very tasty and very generous in quantity. There is also a dessert for lunch. The service is extremely friendly and warm. Since the restaurant is very narrow, it is not the most comfortable atmosphere and does not invite you to linger. But that's exactly what makes it so authentic and reminiscent of a restaurant in China. Warm recommendation for everyone who appreciates Asian cuisine!

A little tight inside. I didn't find the food great in terms of taste. We tried duck and chicken options, but the bones and animal skins annoyed us. We couldn't finish our meal overall. The cafe employee does not know English very well.

One of our favorite restaurants in Munich for a snack. Food tastes great, the boas are great. The atmosphere could be nicer, it's usually quite full and there aren't that many seats.

Small, cute shop with very tasty bowls/soups. I actually wanted to eat gua bao afterwards but was completely full and will definitely come back. You can choose between different toppings and broths or alternatively a bowl with sauce.

I personally love the spicy rice noodle base very much, u can choose any meat topping u want. Pork belly and duck are rather sweet, chicken and beef r on the salty sides just for ur reference. The Gua Bao is also quite nice, altho I found the pork belly too sweet, it depends on ur personal liking.

We don't understand the hype surrounding this bar. The food was average - the duck was typical cheap meat and had nothing to do with a Peking duck… The pork belly was good - we couldn't find out anything about its origin because the staff didn't speak German or English. Our personal highlight, however, was that cash payment is ONLY possible there... However, there is no sign and no information that only cash will be accepted in 2024...

We ordered different dishes from the menu because we wanted to taste as much as possible. We weren't disappointed. Everything was very delicious. The employees were very nice, the service was quick and of course they understood German. Unfortunately you could only pay in cash, which is why one of us had to walk to a machine again.

I ordered a Pékin duck soul with noddles and was disappointed by the very dry meat as well as the noodles (kind of plastic consistency). The service was ok and they offer you a small desert which is a nice attention. However I don't think I will come back.

The quality of the food at Baoz! Bar did not meet my expectations and the health consequences were extremely unpleasant. On the other hand, a colleague liked the burgers, although I personally can hardly imagine that. I hope this feedback helps Baoz! Bar improves its standards and guests are protected from such unpleasant experiences.

Discovered it through a chinese exchange student who recommended it to me. Sounded promising, right? Well it was! Came two days in a row. Had a delicious noodle soup with braised tofu that tickled my taste buds proper! The only disappointment was the bao, it didn’t quite hit right. Something lacked. Perhaps the fluffiness. It was a little dry and not as jiggly. The service is on top, even give a free dessert - mango in coconut milk, was very tasty!

The boss is super friendly and runs the shop. There are very great lunch specials. The prices are very, very fair and the portions are more than filling. I recommend trying the noodle bowl with sour broth and pork belly. The baozi are also very tasty. There really is something for everyone, enter the store and be surprised by the Asian cuisine! :)

Come very often and as far as I can tell it's very authentic food. It tastes great, from the chicken salad to the frames and the baozis, everything tastes really good. And the desserts are also super delicious. The waitresses are always super nice too. The only thing missing is more space for more guests, but unfortunately that's not possible with the rooms, I think a few more would eat there if there were more tables. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Wer eine gute warme Suppe sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Finde ich persönlich besser als japanische Ramen. Die Nachspeise mit Tapioka und Mangopudding ist auch ziemlich lecker.

I have been coming here almost every week since the opening, and I have never been disappointed. On the contrary, every visit feels like a culinary journey for my taste buds - starting with the incredibly unbeatable hot and sour tofu soup, and then the refreshing coconut mango dessert. War hier schon oft in der Mittagspause und bin begeistert. Die Bowls gibts dann für 8,50€ und man bekommt eine kleine erfrischende Nachspeise dazu. Essen ist eine 10/10 und der Service ist auch super. Kann ich jeden empfehlen!

Heute zum erstenmal da gewesen Als Vorspeise ein chinesischer Burger mit Hühnchen und Curry und Salat und als Menü geschmorter Schweinebauch mit Glasnudeln und Gemüse in süß scharfer Soße Schmeckt sehr lecker und authentisch nach chinesischer Art Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen Am besten ist es ab 14 Uhr zu kommen,dann ist es nicht so voll wie zur Mittagszeit Das Restaurant ist winzig und hat nur eine winzige Toilette Leider gibt es nur Pepsi und keine Cola Aber ansonsten ist dieses chinesische Restaurant einen Besuch wert Von der Universität nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt

Der Schweinebauch ist wirklich köstlich und das Servicepersonal ist äußerst freundlich. Das Entenfleisch kommt zwar nicht ganz an das Niveau der asiatischen Küche heran, aber für meinen Geschmack ist es akzeptabel. Die Siu-Mai-Füllung ähnelt einer Art Hackfleisch, unterscheidet sich jedoch sowohl von den reinen Fleisch-Siu-Mai im Norden als auch von den Klebreis-Siu-Mai im Süden. Das einzige Manko ist das sehr kleine Badezimmer. Ich persönlich empfinde es als etwas unangenehm, dass die Urinale der Männer nebeneinander liegen.

They should considering renaming the place, honestly the baos are the least good thing from the menu, we ordered the Duck Bao and were very disappointed, the bread was not fresh and the duck was chewy. Nevertheless, our whole experience was worth it for their Pork Belly Rice, this is one of the tastiest and most delicious pork belly I have tried, you cannot miss it!

Nondescript but authentic and very tasty! Wouldn't think it when looking at the menu but my gosh that pork belly was perfect and I couldn't stop eating the delicious soup. Can highly recommend!
