What delicious food, what friendly service, and such a wonderfully small place. The lovely teapot covers alone are worth the visit. And: Sooooo delicious! It's best to eat the whole menu. (And then dessert is on the house 😍)

This restaurant has no disadvantages for me! The boss lady is nice, the food is reasonably priced and delicious, highly recommended❤️

When we got there, the baoz were already sold out. Then we ordered the steamed dumplings and chicken. They both tasted so bland... Especially the dumplings... They didn't taste disgusting, but almost exactly like the frozen dumplings from the supermarket. They cost 7-8 euros for 30 pieces... We were truly disappointed... and we'll never go back.

Homemade lemonade was good. The Baoz was tasty too but a little bit overstuffed with a lot of nuts and vegetables which was not too convenient to eat.

Unfortunately, the worst meal in a long time! Given the good reviews, I was hoping for something different! My Gua Bao had too little sauce and was therefore too dry. The meat in our bowl (Peking duck and pork belly) tasted very bad, especially the duck. The broth and everything else was okay, but nothing special... Never again!

The best thing is the grass jelly, no doubt about it, the portion is good, and the price-performance ratio is very high. I often come here specifically to eat the grass jelly. The service, hygiene, and taste are all very good, especially awesome!

I was here for lunch and had a really delicious, authentic, and reasonably priced meal. I'd love to go back.

Unfortunately, it tasted very "German" - the hamburgers weren't seasoned at all. The dessert was delicious, though. Service was very friendly.

Ordered braised large intestine rice and Peking duck tea soup noodles The braised large intestine is delicious, so is the sand tea soup, but not the others. The most unacceptable thing is why they put lettuce and the noodle soup should at least be boiled.

The braised pork is sweet but not greasy, and the sand tea soup is also a must-have. The taro balls and braised grass jelly are very rich and delicious. Who knows that it is difficult to eat such good Chinese food in Europe. The staff is also very good and they also give away small desserts 👍🏻

Muss try their new dessert, very tasty. The new desserts include purple glutinous rice, red beans, taro balls, taro paste, matcha jelly, coconut milk jelly, turtle paste and coconut milk soup.

The Baoz!Bar is the perfect place for delicious baozi (buns) and noodle soups - everything is delicious here! As a thank you, we got coconut milk with sago pearls on the house, which was a really nice gesture. The staff is super friendly. The only small downside: the shop space is a bit narrow. If you get a place, it's great :)

Sweet little snack bar with apparently authentic, definitely delicious cuisine. There were a few locals sitting in the shop, which is always a good indication to me that the food is authentic. The Peking duck in a rice bowl for €9.50 was very tasty and the portion was really big! Unfortunately you can't pay by card here, so you should know that.

The rice noodles with pork belly are so delicious… I was surprised when I ate it The meat was 5 large pieces and melted in my mouth I also ordered the noodles reisnudeln and they were delicious!! The caramelized meat texture was a work of art The price was also very reasonable

I ordered via uber some rice and chicken salad. after a first bite of the chicken salad i nealy pucked. It tasted disgusting and not fresh at all! I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Asian food! It is rubbish!

The food was amazing, wife and I stopped in on a Saturday at noon with no reservations and were promptly seated. The prices were very fair, €30 euro total for a Bao, salad, steamed buns and teas. We got six steamed buns, but easily could have split the 10. It’s a quick walk from the Alte Pinakothek and not too far from the residenz museum.

The place is very nice and calm. I like the relaxing music and overall vibe. I really enjoyed my noodle soup with pork (pork was a bit sweet and I liked that, the taste is very interesting and special). They also truly give you a mango in a coconut milk. The service is very good as well. The only disadvantage for me is that you have to pay by cash. Unfortunately, I usually don’t own any cash and had to ask a friend. Other than that — a perfect place for lunch or simple dinner. Thank you ❤️

One of my favorite restaurants in Munich as a vegan <3

I was wandering around Munich on a cold day when I came across this spot. I ordered some Gua Bao and Xiao long bao to warm me up and fill my stomach. The Gua Bao was delicious. The pork belly was so tender and the sauce was moderate sweet, which is the key to this dish. The Xiaolongbao was full of gravy, and the hot soup spread in my mouth. Prices were just right, and portions were very good. Highly recommend!

Oh well... The food only arrived lukewarm, apparently "that's normal for this dish". But I never experienced anything like that in China. The service was so nice and "reheated" upon request - but then only the bowl was hot, but the noodles and meat were cold - I didn't ask for a second time. The taste was OK, but it didn't blow you away. And payment is only possible in cash, so another star deduction. Nowadays, paying via cell phone is actually standard.

Tried a different type of baozi. Beautifully filled, deliciously prepared and the variation with beef, pork and duck is impressive. I can also recommend the steamed gyozas to you too. Overall, the store left a positive impression.

The steamed buns are pretty good, but the highlight is that the beef noodles are delicious~! The boss was so enthusiastic and even gave us coconut milk and sago! ! ! The store has been playing pure music versions of Chinese pop music, and I think the atmosphere is very good~ It’s worth a visit~

I went to Munich for a day and a half and had three meals here. The braised pork rice was really delicious🥲🥲The owner’s sister also gave us mango sago juice.

Very good Gua Baos (刈包) that are worth trying. I highly recommend giving them a taste. Just keep in mind that the restaurant can get busy due to its cozy size, but the food makes it worthwhile.

I had a super delicious soup with pork belly and rice noodles. However, you can put it together individually. There was a huge portion for €11.90. The egg cost €1 extra. Very friendly staff and a small dessert was included for free afterwards. I'll definitely come by again.

A huge transparent plastic piece came out from my mouth when I eat a rice bowl here. I showed it to the staff and the guy told me it is a vegetable and just walked away with the total ignorance. Afterwards they were pretending like they don‘t understand English. No apology, no react. I might swallow some other plastic pieces but who knows. Be aware what you are puttig into your mouth, people.

While we were looking for good ramen in Munich, we happened upon the small and cozy Baoz! Bar bumped. It was busy at lunchtime. The ramen with the braised pork belly is highly recommended. The broth is very intense and a real taste experience for lovers of both normal and spicy food. Price-performance is top.

I did not want to write a review, but the food was very DISAPPOINTING. I ordered the noodle soup with smoked pork belly and the gua bao with beef. The noodle soup is inedible!!! It has a good taste, maybe too salty, but the aftertaste is HORRIBLE. It was a feeling of saltiness and discomfort that I have never felt before. It just goes away after a few minutes. The worst part is that you can feel it from the beginning. You can't really eat it, it just feels too bad in your mouth. The gua was not salty, but it had no taste. After I almost finished it, I noticed that the vegetables inside looked kind of old. I don't know if eating at this place is different, but at least I will never recommend ordering from here. It is a shame, because I feel like they packed everything very well, it looked very promising. The coconut milk I got for "free" was actually good.

Food was very yummy and affordable. The pork belly rice bowl is especially to my taste. The dumplings were just ok though. Service nice and fast.

The two of us ordered 3 Bao Bun Burgers each and sat outside. The burgers were ok but the meat was sometimes rubbery and didn't seem really fresh. The ambience isn't great either, as you either sit on rickety chairs outside on the sidewalk or quite cramped inside.

Serving traditional noodles, rice and soup dumplings, this restaurant may be a bit cramped but the food is worth it. There are some seating outside and can accommodate large groups up to 7 people. The pork they serve is braised in a delicious soya sauce base. The soup dumplings are delicious and the pork buns are wonderful. There are vegetarian options that are just as good. The service was excellent and fast. We were also gifted with an excellent sago and mango pudding dessert.

This is by very far the best soup I’ve ever eaten. Tofu, Chicken, Porkbelly. Choose any, you’re going to be blown out of the water. Highly recommended. Also very delicious Bao Burger and Xiao Long Bao

2024.05 Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated, both in terms of taste and portions. The baozi was not soft and fluffy but flat and yellow in color. Sauce flowed everywhere and made the baozi even more soggy. And the pickles inside were very salty. And the braised pork, which I previously enjoyed very much, no longer came in good, large pieces but rather like leftovers or leftovers (it's a shame I didn't take a photo). Was here last summer and the food had the same problems. I'm really disappointed. Even if the service is very nice, I wouldn't come back. A pity. #supportyourlocal!! They have great deals on weekdays! A bowl 7.5 euros! Tasty and authentic, the menu is inexpensive. And you have to wait a while (sometimes rather long) Baozi with pork is highly recommended! The skin of Peking duck is too greasy, otherwise it tastes good. The others are so-so. The service is always very nice.

After a long walk on a cold rainy day, we were looking for a hot meal to warm us up, and this restaurant didn't disappoint. The locale is small but cozy, and everything was clean and tidy. As for the food, there's a very easy system to create your dish by selecting first the kind of meat you want, and then the sides and the broth. Mine was extremely tasty, with high-quality ingredients and overall freshness. I highly recommend the pork meat, as it's sweet and tender, adding a special flavor to the dish. To finish the meal, the restaurant serves a small cup of coconut milk with mango, which is incredibly refreshing and perfect to balance your palate after all the strong flavors you just experienced. I highly recommend this restaurant and hope to visit it again very soon.

I ate the most delicious and fluffy baos in London. I tried it here in Munich and what can I say...as soon as I unpacked it and took the first bite, they unfortunately ended up in the trash again. Shame about the food and the money. The buns are firm and there is no loose, fluffy dough as it should be. The chicken, I was disgusted to even try it with the skin and these chicken hairs. You couldn't eat the ones with the glass noodles, everything fell out and it wasn't spicy anymore Once and never again…Thank you for nothing

The Baoz! Bar brings authentic Chinese cuisine to the heart of Munich! When it comes to dishes, you can choose between different types of meat and tofu. Whether it's bao, noodle soup or rice bowl, all dishes are very tasty and very generous in quantity. There is also a dessert for lunch. The service is extremely friendly and warm. Since the restaurant is very narrow, it is not the most comfortable atmosphere and does not invite you to linger. But that's exactly what makes it so authentic and reminiscent of a restaurant in China. Warm recommendation for everyone who appreciates Asian cuisine!

Small, cute shop with very tasty bowls/soups. I actually wanted to eat gua bao afterwards but was completely full and will definitely come back. You can choose between different toppings and broths or alternatively a bowl with sauce.

I personally love the spicy rice noodle base very much, u can choose any meat topping u want. Pork belly and duck are rather sweet, chicken and beef r on the salty sides just for ur reference. The Gua Bao is also quite nice, altho I found the pork belly too sweet, it depends on ur personal liking.

We ordered different dishes from the menu because we wanted to taste as much as possible. We weren't disappointed. Everything was very delicious. The employees were very nice, the service was quick and of course they understood German. Unfortunately you could only pay in cash, which is why one of us had to walk to a machine again.

We don't understand the hype surrounding this bar. The food was average - the duck was typical cheap meat and had nothing to do with a Peking duck… The pork belly was good - we couldn't find out anything about its origin because the staff didn't speak German or English. Our personal highlight, however, was that cash payment is ONLY possible there... However, there is no sign and no information that only cash will be accepted in 2024...

The quality of the food at Baoz! Bar did not meet my expectations and the health consequences were extremely unpleasant. On the other hand, a colleague liked the burgers, although I personally can hardly imagine that. I hope this feedback helps Baoz! Bar improves its standards and guests are protected from such unpleasant experiences.
