We were not carried away by this Thai cuisine which was tasteless to our taste. The service was very unfriendly and we waited a long time unlike the other customers present. Only the place is very pretty and takes you on a journey.

I was in Thailand for 5 weeks and I have to admit that I ate the best and most authentic Pad Thai here in the restaurant. The portion was generous and the price was very fair. I also found the vegetarian spring rolls very tasty; Not only did they taste great, but they also looked like they were freshly made and not just taken out of the freezer. The service in the restaurant wasn't particularly warm, but it wasn't unfriendly either. All in all, the restaurant impressed with the quality of the food and I can recommend a visit there to anyone who wants to experience authentic Thai cuisine.

Very good food, unbeatable value for money in Karlsruhe, large portions - absolutely authentic Thailand feeling from the ambience and especially from the food!!! Here you can also eat really spicy food ("Thai spicy" when ordering)

We found this cozy little restaurant by chance via Google. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, but quite nice inside :) We were immediately taken to a seat, the lady was also super friendly. The food was surprisingly tasty and the portions were quite good. You can't complain about the price either. Unfortunately the location is very disadvantageous but it's worth a visit :)

I picked up the food. It was well packaged, leak proof. It was hot and tasted delicious. I was greeted friendly and with a smile. The restaurant looks neat and nicely decorated. Not too crowded. Order there again. :)

Food is tasty, inexpensive and large portions. Unfortunately there is little space in the restaurant and the tables are very closely spaced. Zero privacy. It was pretty cold in the dining room, at least when we visited.

I can only agree with the person below with the negative review of the delivery. It's really a disgrace what the store does. Then a completely excited employee calls you and says I'm lying. I'll just buy it for the next few years (I was a customer there for a long time) somewhere else. But it's nice to collect more now and rip off the consumer

Simply terrible! Lots of sauce, few vegetables and meat. Disappointing and expensive! The pictures speak for themselves.

I was at Bangkok Foodland today and, as always, I was very satisfied. The food is easy to digest and tastes great. I was particularly impressed by the cozy atmosphere, especially the back area with the straw umbrella and the recipe pictures on the wall. The traditional tablecloths create a homely atmosphere. I will definitely come back, not only for takeaway but also to enjoy the stay on site.

Absolute Empfehlung! Für mich der beste Thailänder in Karlsruhe. Das Pad Thai ist ein wahres Gedicht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Restaurant ist definitiv einen Besuch wert. Negativ und Punktabzug gibt's nur, weil ich eine Preissteigerungen von 15% zu übertrieben finde, auch wenn die MwSt. Reduzierungen ausgelaufen ist finde ich diese Preiserhöhung zu extrem.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen und bin beeindruckt von der durchweg positiven Erfahrung. Die Gerichte überzeugten durch eine perfekte Schärfe, die jedem Bissen eine geschmackliche Tiefe verlieh. Die Portionen waren genau richtig, wodurch man die Vielfalt der Speisen genießen konnte, ohne überfordert zu sein. Die Geschmackskombinationen waren exquisit, dank gut ausgewählter Gewürze, die jedem Gericht eine besondere Note verliehen. Sowohl die Fleisch- als auch die vegetarischen Optionen waren herausragend zubereitet. Wie man sich ein asiatisches Restaurant vorstellt, mit gutem Essen

Der Empfang war äußerst freundlich und das Ambiente hat sehr an Thailand erinnert. Die Bestellung wurde innerhalb von 5min aufgenommen und das Essen kam innerhalb von 10min. Das Essen war sehr lecjer und gut gemacht. Es war sehr schneller, netter und guter Service. Ich kann das Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen.

Bangkok Foodland, war unser Catering bei der Hochzeit. Es war einfach super und Sie haben sogar Live cooking gemacht für 120 Gäste. Wir und all unsere Gäste waren sehr zufrieden und fanden das Essen perfekt. Dankeschön nochmals! Verdiente 5 Sterne 🌟

Wir sind etwas spät dort angekommen, dennoch wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient und nicht unter Druck gesetzt schnell fertig zu essen. Das Essen ist gemessen am Preis wirklich sehr gut. Das gleiche gilt für die Cocktails.

Das Essen schmeckt gut, die Preise der Gerichte sind meiner Meinung nach jedoch etwas zu teuer, da man vergleichbares zu besseren Preisen bekommt. Unser Tisch war, zumindest bei diesem Besuch, leider etwas schmuddelig (Soßenreste von einem oder mehreren Kunden vor uns). Da wir schon mehrfach dort waren um verschiedene Gerichte zu testen, kann ich sagen, dass es alles in allem ein gutes Restaurant ist.

Wir sind seit einigen Monaten Stammkunden und sind sehr große Thai-Fans gewesen, verzweifelt auf der Suche nach einem authentischen Restaurant in Karlsruhe. Hier wird jeder fündig, die Salate sind der Hammer, die Suppen und Hauptspeißen sind stets frisch und geschmacklich überragend. Die Lieferverpackungen sind gut durchdacht, es werden Suppen z.B. in einzelnen Containern geliefert, der Inhalt der Suppe getrennt von der Suppe, sodass alles noch kackig und frisch bleibt. Dazu werden immer noch gratis Chili Pulver und eingelegte Chilis geliefert zum individuellen nachwürzen. Das Lokal ist super gemütlich eingerichtet und das Personal ist sowohl am Telefon als auch vor Ort mega freundlich und kompetent. Wir sind so dankbar, die Thailändische Küche bei uns so authentisch erleben zu können. Vielen Dank, wir hoffen ihr bleibt lange im Geschäft!

Aquí a menudo los tailandeses vienen a cenar, así como los alemanes como yo y mi amigo. La comida es auténtica, lo que creo que es realmente importante, pero también es realmente bueno. El servicio es bueno y muy amable, y todo el personal, todos tailandeses, también habla alemán muy bien. Un lugar para visitar de nuevo.  (Solo fue difícil encontrar un lugar para estacionar mi auto en realidad).

Typical Thai restaurant because of its authentic decoration, busy staff and freezing-cold airco. Large choice in typical dishes which are adapted to European standards. Upon request, you can get the original Thai sharpness. Service is somewhat lacking when you order something "out of the common" (e.g. an appetizer). Quick kitchen also with take-away. Prices ridiculously low for Thai restaurant to European standards.

I came here to meet my cousin for a lunch as they were too busy for any dinner that week. Service was good, and the food was - as every time I came here - excellent. I also like the decoration of the place a lot, makes you dream to be in Thailand

I heard it changed the owner, but staff is mostly still the same - as the complete menu is. As almost a family tradition, I invited my cousin with all the kids here for a dinner. I never really trust quality of Thai food in Europe but saw a good review and had and appetite for something spicy so I took a chance with Bangkok Foodland. Staff was friendly and the food was fast. Taste was okay. I had stir fried chicken with basil and soup for entree. Then a misery for the evening and into the night. I had to take a motilium to be able to go to bed. Either bad meat or very dirty kitchen.

Excellent food, freshly cooked right in front of you! Inexpensive and clean seatings, fast and good service. Branches all over Bangkok but we had our lunch at sukhumvit soi 5 road branch. The restaurant name itself as TOOK LAE DEE (literally mean cheap and good) this restaurant is in every foodland supermarkets

Awesome thai food, the pad thai was pretty good for being in the small city like Karlsruhe! Make sure to get the side of spices to kick it up because it isn't that spice to start.

This is probably the closest one can get authentic Thai food in Karlsruhe. I just wish that they can make their food spicier when I ask for more chilli. Other than that, the flavours are there!

There are 2 restaurant Bangkok and both are really good. The staff is friendly and the menu varied and delicious. I ate in this restaurant many times and I was never disappointed. If you like mild spicy food you have to be sure that your dish is mild spicy because many of them are really spicy, so just ask. 100% recommended.

Different from Chinese Restaurants in Europe, Thai restaurants try to keep the level of dishes as in their home country - the main contribution to cocal needs is adaptation on spice levels: Hot is at most a "mai ped" in Thailand. But they manage to get a lot of fresh asian spices for ingredients, the food still tastes close to what we are used to from Bangkok Capital or from Pukhet. The Menu is just a standard of Thai dishes, if you want them really hot, you have to insist at least twice! But then you should not complain if it is too hot for you. Besides the offer often some special food - written on a blackboard unfortunately only in Thai language: Just ask, what else they can recommend: There they have some excellent fish (even t comes frozen from Thailand). The restauants (both, near Hauptpost and the other in the Leopold Str.) are affordable, good for a quick lunch and also for a family dinner. Do not wonder: many local Thai people come in here and then for there lunch or dinner as well!

Two of us had three courses here: an starter of six small spring rolls, and six small samosas, followed by mains of green chicken curry and green beef curry. The dishes were true to type, and quite delicious. Dessert was banana fritters and icecream, which, too, was perfectly fine. The service was prompt and efficient, and the surroundings pleasant. The total bill, with a pot of green tea and a bottle of mineral water, came to €35, which we thought very reasonable. We were able to get a table for two without a reservation, but it seemed to be the only one not reserved, so it might be wise to book ahead. Well-located centrally, and easy to reach by public transport.
