The food is very good and portions are really big! The prices are also very good for the portions. I loved the Pad Thai! The restaurant is very simple, and the staff very nice. I would definitely recommend it.

Food was great for the portion and price, we ordered a lot thinking it would be small but hey, had to take some of it back home haha. Service was friendly, my girlfriend loves Coriander so we asked twice for extra Coriander and they gave us some. Would recommend.

I had laab ped (duck salad) here for the first time with my mom, and I was absolutely blown away. Super, super delicious! The staff was also very friendly and even recommended laab ped. In my opinion, the best Thai restaurant in the area. Small, cute, authentic in both character and taste. I'd love to go back soon ☺️

Here I found one of the best Pad Krapao in Karlsruhe. This dish was very nice and authentic. The price was affordable and the service was good.

You can expect delicious Thai food from this place with cheaper price than the other Thai restaurants in town. For example Thai fried rice here starts at 9€. Curry and stir fried menu is around 10-12€. Recommended for customers with limited budget. Update from Jan 2025: All of the menus are increased for 1.5-2€. The fried rice with chicken is now 10.5€

Discovered by chance and was not disappointed. It's a snack bar... not a restaurant in the traditional sense. In Asian for sure. ;-) But this impression was made up for by very tasty, fresh cuisine. The dishes we ordered: sweet and sour pork with various vegetables and chicken with vegetables and ginger, with rice as a side dish, were obviously freshly prepared, the meat was tender and the vegetables were crunchy. A little more salt wouldn't have hurt the rice - but it didn't detract from the overall taste. The size of each portion was also more than generous. We saw the large portion of soup at another table! This can also feed 2 people. The service was friendly, but busy processing ordered dishes. Paying works best if you go straight to the counter. They also didn't ask if you wanted something else to drink after the drink you first ordered had been emptied. The appearance corresponded to the expectations of a "snack bar", the toilet rooms were clean. We would eat there again at any time.

I like eating Thai food. Unfortunately, no one pays attention to the list of ingredients here. It can happen that you unexpectedly find some tofu or other allergens in your food. Too bad...

We ordered and picked up, it was relatively quick. The Pad Thai is tasty, but could be a little spicier and less greasy. For €10.20 you get some huge portions.

ATTENTION was on the disgust list because of, among other things, a heavy cockroach infestation! The operator reacted immediately after the WKD visit, but the findings showed that the problem had existed for much longer and was CONSCIOUSLY accepted. A pity. I've lost my appetite, unfortunately.

My absolute favorite Thai outside of Thailand itself ;-) Very tasty, authentic, inexpensive food. Really comfortable for a fast food restaurant. Ordered and a few minutes later it was there. That's how it has to be.

The Bangkok is located in the middle of the city of Karlsruhe. From the stop just 1 minute from Europaplatz. The Bangkok is quite authentic, set up accordingly. The kitchen is great...the food is always great. The service was very friendly. You feel very comfortable. Really recommended

The service was friendly, but after we brought the food no one came to ask if we wanted anything else The atmosphere was kind of cool... some of the decorations could be used downstairs in the toilets (they were very clean), then it wouldn't be so dreary in the basement. Wir sind öfter mal in Karlsruhe, im Umkreis gibt es eine große Auswahl an Verschiedenen Läden. Wir gehen gerne im Thai Foodland was essen. Und schmeckt es hier und das Essen ist sehr schnell am Tisch. Der Service ist auch nett und freundlich und Aufmerksam. Wie schon von den Vorgehenden Bewertungen empfohlen, sind auch die Suppen zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist ein wenig ins Alter gekommen und könnte ggf. mal aufgehübscht werden, ist aber kein Muss.

Sehr leckeres Essen, zu guten Preisen, bei freundlichem Servicepersonal in einem sauberen Lokal. Vielen Dank und kommen definitiv wieder ! 🙏🏽

Ein kleines Thailand Lokal am der Seitenstraße von Europaplatz. Es ist nicht all zu groß. Gefühlt passen ungefähr 60 Gäste rein. Das Essen ist super lecker und günstig. Ich hatte Pad Thai gehabt und würde richtig sagt. Wir sind spontan hinbekommen und haben direkt Plätze bekommen. Die Bedienung ist super nett. Wir gehen auf jeden Fall Mal wieder hin. Die Einrichtung ist es abgenutzt, spielt aber keine Rolle.

The soup and the samosas were great. The soup had a nice flavor, but a little “soft”. But it can be adjusted by adding some sauces (e.g., spicy) they gave with the food. So, no problem. Also, mixing the soup very well helps a lot because in the bottom the flavor is more powerful. The size of portion are very good. Two “standard hungry people” can share the soup without any problem. The people are very gentle and fast. The place is comfortable, clean, calm, familiar/couple ambient, etc. It is very multicultural and interesting. 100% recommended.

Sehr gutes Essen egal ob vor Ort oder ob es geliefert wird. Habe heute bestellt Warenwert ca 40 bis 50 Euro alles sehr warm und die Suppen noch heiß . Meine Mutter ist Stammkundin und hat früher immer Fisch geholt aufgrund von Krankheit ist es leider nicht mehr möglich. Wo meine Mutter im Krankenhaus lag gab die Chefin die Bestellung umsonst da merkt man dass Stammkunden sehr viel Wertschätzung bekommen vielen Dank nochmals dafür . Liebe Grüße Familie Klaus und Ooy

Bin mehrfach in der Woche beruflich in Karlsruhe und lasse dabei einen regelmäßigen Besuch in diesem Restaurant nicht aus. Das Essen ist hervorragend und auch authentischer als die meisten anderen mir bekannten Thai-Restaurants in Deutschland. Der Service ist gut und freundlich. Das Ambiente hat für mich den Charme eines Schnellrestaurants in Thailand - also durchaus ebenfalls authentisch, dennoch etwas auffällig ranzig. Falls jemand vom Ambiente Rückschlüsse auf die Hygiene des zubereiteten Essen ziehen möchte: Nach ca 50 Besuchen, immer in einer größeren Gruppe hatte nicht eine einzige Person auch nur einmal einen grummeligen Magen. Insgesamt eine sehr solide Empfehlung für Gäste, die ungezwungen gutes Essen zu einem fairen Preis genießen wollen und es schätzen, dass Gespräche auch nach dem Essen nicht ständig durch den Service unterbrochen werden.

Nicht mehr so gut wie es mal früher war Ambiente die Möbelstücke schon Runtergekommen , Qualität vom Essen und Sauberkeit war besser.

Wie seit über 10 Jahren sehr gute Qualität, aber leider auch teurer geworden. Mein Stammessen Nr. 46 Ente scharf mit 2 Peperoni....ist mit inzwischen zu mild. Nächstes Mal 3 Peperoni. Ente ist stets knusprig aber nicht trocken. Bravo!

Ich gehe dort seit 6 Jahren essen. Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.

Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und man bekommt immer sehr schnell das Essen. Wunderbare Lage am Europaplatz, lohnt sich immer nach einem Bummel hier rein zu schauen. Kartenzahlung wird seit Neustem auch akzeptiert.
