Classic Chinese as we already knew it in the 90s. Service is top, ambience is a matter of taste, clientele tends to be older. Most importantly, the food is absolutely fine. Maybe nothing special or authentic but solidly tasty and freshly prepared. Price and performance are right. I'll definitely come back.

Food was very tasty, small buffet selection, but completely sufficient, I found it a bit of a shame that there were mushrooms in every dish, I don't like mushrooms. I ordered takeaway from Bamboo Garden today and I love it! The lunch menu offers a great selection - I chose the sweet and sour duck and three types of slightly spicy meat. There was also a delicious Peking soup and finally baked banana with honey. The food was excellently packaged and survived the journey from Dortmund to Bergkamen without any problems. I would particularly like to praise the first-class service – everything ran smoothly and the employees were very friendly. Clear recommendation, I would love to come back!

The buffet offering is very limited, especially for people who don't eat meat or poultry. The only choices left are pasta, rice, boiled vegetables, shrimp and a cheap kind of fish that is fried, and of course fries. Also there is no ice cream for dessert, just a bit of fruit. All in all, I think €18.90 is pretty expensive for something like that.

It's a relatively small restaurant. You can choose between à la carte and buffet. Anyone expecting a large selection at the counter will be disappointed. However, the quality and taste of the food on offer is better than in many other restaurants of this type. The price is reasonable.

The restaurant is relatively small and a bit cramped. But I'm happy to accept that because the food is fantastic. At lunchtime you can choose between lunch (a la menu) or buffet. The buffet is stocked with a nice selection of popular Chinese dishes. Not particularly big but a little bit of everything. The large spring rolls are very tasty. They always sell out quickly. However, refills are made quickly and, thanks to the excellent service, the rolls are brought to the table. Perfect!!!! In general, the service is just super nice, attentive and helpful. Prices are absolutely reasonable.

Mega tasty, great value for money

We like to go there during our lunch break or after work. It is always buffet style (a little more expensive in the evenings but more choice), but a la carte is also possible. Very pleasant atmosphere and extremely friendly staff who clear away used plates straight away. Buffet is rich and tastes very good. Even if you only have a short time at lunchtime, you can get through the buffet style quickly without having to wait. We are happy to recommend the restaurant.

Seit über 20 Jahren unserChinese, besser gesagt Chinesin. Personal sehr freundlich , Büfett wird immer rechtzeitig aufgefüllt, Essen ist einfach lecker. Viele Freunde und Bekannte gehen ebenfalls hierher.

We were there for the 4th time now. I don't like these huge buffet restaurants at all. That's why I love the bamboo garden. The small buffet has everything you need and not everything tastes the same. It's refilled immediately and the food is always there hot. But the best thing is the service!!!! It's rare to see such friendly and committed people. We'd love to come back

Cool concept with the buffet. There is no annoying guessing game about which dish could be hidden behind which exotic-sounding name on the menu. Instead, for 17.50 euros, creativity is the order of the day when putting together a varied selection of dishes. And what is there is delicious. The attentive but reserved service is the icing on the cake. Even chilies were served upon request 🔥

Für mich und meine Frau ist es das Beste Chinesisches Restaurant in Dortmund ! Wir lieben die asiatische Küche! Haben mehrere Restaurants ausprobiert, aber am besten fanden wir das Restaurant Bambusgarten. Wir fühlen uns da sehr wohl. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Wir gehen seit vielen Jahren auch an Geburtstagen und vor kurzem auch zu Weihnachtsfeiern dahin. Da es immer gut besucht ist, wäre eine Reservierung wünschenswert ! Wir können den (Bambusgarten) zu 100% weiter empfehlen! Simon Pfaff.

Wir waren am Samstag das 1. Mal hier. Am liebsten würde ich 10 Sterne geben!!! Es ist ein kleines Buffet sehr zum positiven !. Wir waren schon oft Buffet essen, aber dass,was wir hier erlebt haben, war für uns ein festliches Weihnachtsessen. Wir haben hier das erste mal erlebt, dass alle Speisen ,samt 2 Suppen richtig heiss waren. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und wir können von Herzen dieses Restaurant sehr empfehlen. PS. Nettes kleines China Restaurant so wie es früher auch schon war. Wer keine riesigen aufgeblasen und lauten China Tempel mag für den ist dieses Restaurant genau das richtige. Das Buffet ist klein aber lecker und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir waren schon mehrfach dort und haben uns stets wohl gefühlt. Von daher eine klare Empfehlung.

Sehr leckeres Essen für einen günstigen Preis. Das Büfett hatte eine große Auswahl inklusive Salat und Nachtisch. Und die Bedienung war auch sehr nett. Insgesamt ein super Erlebnis.

Klein aber fein essen wie immer top

Kleines chinesisches Restaurant mit langer Tradition. Wir waren mittags dort und haben das Buffet genossen. Es war alles das im Angebot, was man hierzulande von einem solchen Buffet erwartet. Wenn mal eine Schale leer war, wurde diese auch wieder rasch und frisch aufgefüllt. Es wurde meist kleinere Mengen nachgefüllt, so dass die Speisen nicht lange in der Auslage liegen. Es hat uns geschmeckt und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Sehr schmutzig und sehr unfreundlich + würde gern minus Sterne geben geht leider nicht den Laden würde ich mit besten gewissen meiden. für eine kleine Kinder Suppe die in 1 min leer ist 10.50 abzocke pur einmal und nie wieder

Spontan entschieden, etwas chinesisches zu essen und dort einen Tisch vorbestellt (für "in 1h". Das hat sehr gut geklappt, dann dort "all you can eat" gewählt. Bis auf den Fisch habe ich alle Gerichte probiert und danke waren sehr lecker. Es wurde, sobald etwas leer war, immer wieder nachgelegt. Das Personal war freundlich und schnell (ich habe das, speziell beim Abräumen von benutzten Tellern, auch schon anders erlebt). Der Preis ist angemessen und auch die Getränkepreise sind in Ordnung. Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Bequem, nett und okay vom Geschmack. Hatte die scharfe Suppe, die war leider nicht scharf aber nachdem ich von der Würze die bereitgestellt wird auf dem Tisch, etwas in die Suppe gegeben hatte, hat sie dann auch gut geschmeckt. Preise leider bisschen teuer. Dennoch empfehlenswert 🤙

Leider muss ich meine Bewertung von vor fünf Jahren revidieren und zwei Sterne abziehen. Das Restaurant "Bambus Garten" hat qualitativ leider sehr nachgelassen, während die Preise deutlich gestiegen sind. Für mich hat sich dieses Restaurant durch seine Atmosphäre, den Geschmack des Essens sowie die kleinen "Zugaben" von anderen China-Imbissen abgehoben. Vor dem Essen erhielt man eine Schale Krupuk, danach warme Handtücher zum Reinigen der Hände sowie einen kleinen (alkoholfreien) Digestif. Diese Aufmerksamkeiten werden inzwischen komplett weggelassen. Bei dem "All you can eat"-Buffet könnten die Saucen öfter mal umgerührt werden, damit sie sich nicht so absetzen. Der Geschmack der Speisen hat ebenfalls etwas nachgelassen. Der Zustand sowie die Sauberkeit der sanitären Anlagen sind ebenfalls verbesserungswürdig. Da überlegt man sich leider, ob man beim nächsten Mal nicht doch seine Speisen beim (günstigeren) Imbiss um die Ecke kauft. Sehr schade!
