Balkan Kebap in Ulm

I can only agree with the positive comments: from the outside, it looks "meh," but the food: "wow!" Best kebab I've had in a long time, and not comparable to the many other stalls in the area. (And I spent a week 'testing' everything...)

A visit to Balkan Kebap feels like I'm eating my delicious kebab in a good friend's living room. Doner kebab is always delicious, the boss is great and the ambience is unique. I always enjoy coming back there.

It was my first time in Ulm and I actually just happened to pass by. But it was worth it! Not only was my dürüm delicious, the chef was incredibly attentive and even gave me an ayran. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop by again!

Today was very bad. Very old and dry meat in my kebab. Straight into the trash. I will never come again.

Perfect. The kebab here is a creation of the very finest, every single ingredient contributes to the absolute ecstasy of the taste buds. Good and warm meat, fresh onions, lettuce and even parsley come together to create a dish that you can't miss paired with several sauces! If you like to go for a donation, you're in good hands here. In addition to kebab, there is also a large selection of drinks (including alcoholic ones) and other dishes. In terms of price, this shop is slightly more expensive than other kebabs (€4.8 for a kebab; as of May 17, 2019) but it is also worth it. The interior is comfortable and the whole building is much larger on the inside than a view from the outside would suggest. A toilet is available. The service is sometimes a bit apathetic, but always friendly. In my opinion the best kebab far and wide.

Based on the reviews we went there for the first and last time. The meat and potatoes were overcooked and cold. Even the little one, who loves kebab, didn't like it. I can't recommend it for the price.

The kebab snack bar has been around for 28 years, and I ate there again after over 20 years. I have to say, the kebab was the best I've eaten in a long time. The kebab doesn't taste the same as everywhere else. The owner makes a very tasty homemade yogurt sauce, fresh salads and a really tasty red sauce. The turkey meat is also highly recommended!

Eine extrem leckerer, guter Döner der zwar langsam aber mit viel Liebe gemacht wird. Außerdem bekommt man manchmal eine türkische Süßigkeit als Nachtisch geschenkt. Der Dönermann ist der Beste!

Der beste Döner den ich in meinem Leben je gegessen habe! Das Fleisch ist richtig lecker sowie das Gemüse auch, schön frisch. Der Besitzer ist super freundlich und hat humor. Wird auf jeden fall mein neuer Stammdöner. Empfehle ich zu 100% weiter

Von außen kommt es so rüber als wäre man falsch. Drinnen ist es auch sehr Familiär, aber trotzdem Unschlagbar lecker ich war postiv überrascht!!

Einfache aber Top Kebap Stube. Ambiente ist einfach aber authentisch, man erinnert sich irgendwie an Oli Dittrichs Figur "Ditsche", Bestelltheke hat die optimale Höhe für ein kühles Helles während man auf seinen Döner o.ä. wartet. Frische Zubereitung der Speisen, Eigene Saucen und ein breit gefächertes Getränke Angebot ließen uns nach einem Besuch im Roxy ein zweites Mal einkehren. Der Chef ist sehr aufmerksam, höflich und zuvorkommend. Unsere Damenbegleitungen waren sehr beeindruckt, trotz anfänglicher Skepsis. Ganz klares Fazit, nächster Besuch in Ulm und wir kehren dort wieder ein, aber nur wenn es derselbe Chef ist😃🍺

Absoluter Geheimtip! Etwas ab vom Schuss. Nicht vom Interieur abschrecken lassen: bester Döner Ulm's! Dreierlei Soßen, superlecker, Peperoni inklusive, auf Wunsch mit ner Prise Salz und Petersilie.

What a great place! As tourist, we don't speak German and we were really really well welcomed. Food is amazing , kind et quick service. I fully recommend.

Seit über 20 Jahren mein favorisierter Döner-Laden in der Region. Bereits als Kind war ich Kunde am alten Standort (noch zu DM-Zeiten). Besonders angetan hat es mir die geniale rote, leicht scharfe Sauce. Aber auch die Joghurtsauce und insbesondere die (marinierten!) Salate, Gurken, Tomaten, Zwiebeln mit Petersilie sowie die Peperoni aus Glasschüsseln (keine Aluminium-Behälter) wirken immer frisch und gewürzt! Über Jahrzehnte ein konstant hohes, geschmackliches Niveau!

Der wohl most underrated Dönerladen in Ulm. Von außen unscheinbar, der Döner ist aber jedes Mal sehr schmackhaft gewesen und alles andere als 08/15.

Der Döner ist sehr lecker, vor allem wenn man das Fleisch mit der scharfen Soße bearbeiten lässt, eine tolle und vor allem leckere Alternative zum roten Pulver. Wir waren zu viert und haben noch einen süßes Baklava als Nachtisch genossen. Hier kommen ich gerne wieder hin. Schöne Sitzgelegenheit vorhanden, um direkt vor Ort Essen zu dürfen.
