Service and restaurant 👎🏻 After ordering, the wrong food was brought and we were told we should know what we ordered. The waiter took the wrong order. We wanted to continue our order but weren't even noticed again. Absolutely disrespectful. I wanted a bill, and the owner looked at me like everything was new. I was told to wait 10 minutes for a bill. He explained why I needed a bill.

So, I don't understand the good reviews. The ambiance is nice and relatively new, but the chairs are very old, and the seat is coming off the frame, so I almost fell off. The food is not good at all. The cevapcici were undercooked and therefore inedible. There are language barriers at the service, as they don't really understand what you're ordering. Thank goodness there are numbers on the menu. The staff probably can't count either, as the small cevapcici plate with 6 cevapcici only arrived with 5. On top of that, it's completely overpriced. You can eat better on every corner in Mannheim. Not recommended!!!

Top-notch food, top-notch service, and a super-relaxed atmosphere. You can immediately tell that the heart and soul of this place is infused with passion. Everything runs smoothly, superbly organized, and incredibly welcoming.

New address in Mannheim, Google took a long time to show the move. The grilled meat is great, as are the bread and side dishes. If you don't want your bread soaked, you should let us know beforehand; Balkan people soak their bread in the meat juices. One flight upstairs is a Balkan supermarket with everything from imported cheese and smoked meats to sweets. Keep it up!

We sat down and opened the menu when the waitress came running over, extremely rude, and wanted to take our order right away. After waiting for 45 minutes, the waitress came up to us and laughed at us for still not getting our food. She then wanted to check our order and tell us that the dish was no longer available, even though it was the wrong dish anyway. We just got up and paid for our drinks, only for the man at the cashier to tell us that the food had been ready the whole time and that we definitely wanted a warm meal. The best part of the visit was a live fight right outside the store. It was a complete disgrace and a waste of time to go there!

The food was very tasty – we had two cevapi with fresh bread, onions, and kajmak. The service was friendly, but it could be improved a bit. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant. We would gladly return and would recommend the Balkan Grill House to our friends.

After eating there, I had severe stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea for a week, and it could only be food poisoning. I was there on a Saturday, and we waited an extremely long time.

The address is poorly marked on the map, making it difficult to get there. When we arrived, there was no welcome: not even a hello. We waited 10 minutes before they brought us our menu. When we pointed out that we were in a hurry, the server simply replied, "Everyone has their turn, the others haven't been served yet either," without any consideration. In the end, the dishes were prepared "express," but one of them wasn't the one we had ordered. The fries were barely cooked, and the cevap really didn't taste very good. The whole thing is quite expensive for what it is, which further exacerbates the disappointment. A bad experience, both in terms of service and the quality of the food.

With all due respect, I was very happy that there are finally real Albanian restaurants in Mannheim. But they aren't Albanians, that's just a strategy! The food is nothing special either, neither the meat nor the side dishes. The portions are tiny and absolutely not justified for the price. There's only one person serving food, so if you want to buy something in the shop, you have to wait a long time because the same waitress is responsible for two positions. If you really want to eat like you're in Kosovo, you have to go to the Albanian restaurant in LU. Hemshofstraße 17, 67063 Ludwigshafen

Unfortunately, a disappointing visit – wrong food, long wait There were four of us in the restaurant, and we didn't get the menu we ordered. Instead, we were served a different one. When we pointed this out to the waiter, the only response was, "It's the same" – without explanation or apology. Furthermore, only three of us got our food at the same time. The fourth person had to wait a full 20 minutes for their dish to finally arrive – while the others were almost finished. Overall, the service was inattentive and not very customer-oriented. It's a shame, we had hoped for much more. - Don't go there!!!!

We ate there as a group and were unfortunately very disappointed with the service. The food arrived very late and was unfortunately already cold. Furthermore, the service wasn't particularly friendly. Since there are many restaurants of this kind here, we recommend choosing another one.

You can't order anything without waiting for 10 minutes to go to the cheese shop yourself. The food wasn't good value. The menu I had in my hand listed the price of menu item 8 as €7. The waitress charged me €12. I showed her the menu I had. She just stared at my face. Nothing to recommend.

Very disappointing 😔 we drove extra far. Šopska salata was a joke, I've never had so little and asked again if it was definitely a portion. Everything looked like it was without love and everything was very economical and cold. It's a shame but we won't come again.

Hello, first of all the food or the cevapcici were cold. Service friendly! Ambience nice too! My friend and I ate there yesterday and since then we have both had terrible stomach pains and diarrhea! Not at all to recommend the food there!!

Homemade bread that goes very well with the Cevape. The cevape literally melt in the bread. Generally very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Definitely a recommendation🙌🏽

The food was okay! The service (full staff) and the waiting time are crazy! Never experienced anything like this! DANGER! Expired products for sale upstairs in the supermarket. I was there today with my 3 children and bought products that were 1 year old. How is that possible when the store opened on Tuesday? Might as well close the shop!

I can't understand the positive reviews. When we arrived there was no greeting or eye contact. When we went to place our order, the unfriendly waitress didn't even bother to come to our table, instead standing at the counter. We ordered dish number 04 twice - once with fries and once with rice. However, after about 20 minutes we received both dishes with fries. It seemed as if the three employees present had no organization or plan for what they were doing. In addition, everyone was very serious and not at all friendly. The Ćevapčići were not cooked properly and some were still raw. In addition, guests who arrived after us received their food faster than we did. The price-performance ratio is also not right.

Food very tasty, waiting times bad. Went there as a couple and wanted two portions to eat there and one portion to take away. The lady apparently didn't understand us, so we only got one portion. In the end, one of us sat there for 40 minutes without eating until we were told at the end that the rest was ready to take away. We won't come again.

Always coming gladly back for the taste of home. It tastes nowhere like back home but these definitely come close. Personal is always nice and helpful which makes every visit even nicer. They have a little Balkan Market next to the store, but I rather come for ćevapi that are so so good

Absolutely delicious authentic food and friendly service.

Ich habe um 18 Uhr für 4 Personen Essen bestellt zum abholen um 19:30. Habe das Essen abgeholt und wo wir das Essen ausgepackt haben hat alles von außen normal ausgesehen, innen war das Fleisch roh und alle 3 Portionen waren scharf. Eine Portion habe ich zur Fastenzeit verschenkt und schäme mich dafür weil ich mir denken kann das die 4. Portion genauso war wie die anderen 3. Sie hatten genug Zeit um alles richtig zu zubereiten. Ich habe nicht gedacht das ich die Katze im Sack kaufe. Das schlimmste ist, ich bin auch noch schwanger und habe mein Essen weggeschmissen da ich kein Rohes Fleisch verzehren darf. Ich werde nie wieder mein essen in diesem Laden kaufen. In 90 Minuten kann man wohl dafür sorgen das das Essen richtig zubereitet ist!

Wunderbares kleines Restaurant. Kleine Karte, aber alles selbstgemacht und frisch an der Grillstation zubereitet. Man kann beim grillen zusehen. Die Produkte werden auch tiefgefroren verkauft. Ausgesprochen freundlicher Service. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ich war noch nie in Albanien, aber wenn die Cevapcici wie in Kroatien schmecken sollen, dann stimmt es 100%. Ein kleiner Nachteil: da das Lokal in Klein-Istanbul in Mannheim liegt, gibt es kein Schweinefleisch und daher gibt es kein Rasnicij und daher nicht mein (ex)-jugoslawisches Leibgericht: Pola-Pola. Sehr freundlicher Service.
