The food was very good, but unfortunately, even with a reservation, we waited 20 minutes for a free table, and after ordering, it took almost two hours for the food to arrive. Recommended if you have plenty of time.

We sat for about 20 minutes before a waiter came. The atmosphere is boring, the service terrible. Our cevape were almost raw, far too soft and greasy. The ljepina was extremely thin and not cooked well, as if they didn't know how to cook. Considering that we waited outside for at least 40 minutes for our food and were already half frozen by then, I can't recommend this restaurant. We are really disappointed; I don't understand all the hype. Just a tip for the restaurant: You will lose a lot of customers because of the endless wait if you don't fix this. I would advise you to hire new staff, because you won't get very far with that.

Unfortunately our visit was disappointing. We had to wait a whole hour for our food. For three portions of chicken nuggets, only four pieces were served instead of the five stated on the menu. In addition, all the sauces we ordered were missing. Unfortunately, when we raised this in a friendly manner, the staff became rude and reacted inappropriately. I cannot recommend this place for guests who value correct ordering and respectful treatment.

Even the wait for a seat was absolutely disproportionate at almost two hours - especially when you see what comes next. The service was unfriendly, slow and seemed annoyed, as if guests were more of a burden than welcome. Unfortunately, the food couldn't save the evening either: carelessly prepared, tasteless and definitely not worth the long wait. It's a shame about the time - we definitely won't be back.

Unfortunately, our visit to the Balkan Grill at Phönixsee in Dortmund was a complete disappointment. We waited over an hour for our order to be taken, then another two hours for the food - absolutely unacceptable. We were there with babies who of course couldn't do it anymore after this long wait. Even for us adults it was an imposition - especially with small children. In addition, we were not greeted in a friendly manner and the service overall was very inattentive. The food was definitely not worth the long wait: the meat was undercooked and had a tough, almost chewing gum-like consistency. We expected much more for a restaurant in such a location. We will definitely not be coming back and unfortunately we cannot recommend the Balkan Grill to anyone.

The service staff were unfriendly and seemed to have no desire to serve the guests at all. The order was taken incorrectly and when I tried to point this out to the waitress I was treated rudely. Overall, my visit to Balkangrill Asanovic was a big disappointment. The combination of bad food and unfriendly service makes it impossible for me to recommend this restaurant. There are certainly better options for anyone looking for a good Balkan meal. The panels were also very dilapidated and in very poor condition Rating: 1/5 stars.

Service is zero, there is no welcome and no one comes to the table and asks for the dish drink. Nobody comes to collect either. Here it even becomes a criminal offence. 50 cents are charged per card payment. It says on a small sign above the cash register. However, this is not pointed out. This cannot be seen on the bill either. Only after threats from the authorities, customs/tax office, was the bill corrected and a tip added. The report to the tax office is still sent out. If you calculate that based on around 20 customers per day, we are talking about several thousand euros per year. So we were seated at a table outside. Really great in March when the outside temperature was 8 degrees. We then placed an order anyway, as it wasn't even started after over an hour. We left and ate at another restaurant Pure catastrophe, I've never experienced anything like it.

A very needy snack. We were here to break the fast in Ramadan. Even though we had reserved a table, we still had to wait for it. We were in this restaurant with ten friends and each ordered a soup as a starter and a starter plate after about 15 minutes. We even got the dates 15 minutes late to break our fast. For the main course we ordered two mixed platters. The videos and pictures on social media are not what you actually get. The tastiest thing about the meat was really the fries. When we finally wanted to pay the bill, we explained the whole thing to the restaurateur again, but he didn't want to see anything. Anyone can have a bad evening, but as a business owner I would at least make a gesture to the customers and at least not charge for the cold soup that came an hour later. Like I said, I'm deeply upset about that evening and I'm still shaking my head. If you don't want to make the same mistake, think about a visit several times - according to the motto: quality instead of quantity.

We were there as a family of five for my son's birthday and ordered a platter for four people. The taste of the meat was excellent, with a very good balance of spices and salt. In addition, the portion was so generous that it would have easily been enough for 6-7 adults. The five of us didn't manage to finish the entire platter of four. However, I have to point out that the meat, especially the cheese-filled meatballs, should have been cooked a little longer. It was still a little raw inside. Furthermore, it would be better if they used sharper and more suitable knives to cut the meat. But overall, especially because of the large amount of meat, we can definitely recommend the restaurant. Also, they have started serving more customers with the newly opened seating area. There used to be only a very small seating area.

Normally I don't give reviews but this time I really have to because one of the owners is quite snooty. The food has deteriorated extremely since the Tik Tok hype. The meat was RAW in some places. The flatbread, which used to be really tasty and fluffy, is now the opposite. Partly raw, the dough didn't rise, so the flatbread was completely flat and inedible. Before the restaurant's oh-so-big renovation and the Tik Tok hype, the food was much, much tastier. The salad that we also ordered was simply not brought. Cutlery only came to the table after the meal, the kids simply didn't receive any cutlery at all. In the past, when the food was a little more delicious, we often experienced that with the cutlery we only received the cutlery after we asked for it. The waiters are totally disorganized, don't clean the tables immediately and simply drop things on the table, such as onions, which are then simply left there and not cleaned. All in all, I will not visit the restaurant again. I didn't like it anymore.

The start was already bumpy: after 20 minutes we were informed that the menu we had ordered was sold out. Such a note should actually be made directly when ordering. The second order didn't go smoothly either. The drinks came, but in glasses with greasy fingerprints - unhygienic and simply unappetizing. After almost 40 minutes the food finally arrived, but the previously ordered sauces such as mayo and ketchup were missing. We were offered “Jupi sauce” as an alternative, which left the impression that the staff was poorly organized or poorly equipped. The entire experience just seemed unprofessional. If a restaurant claims to have basic items like sauces in stock, it should be able to deliver on that. All in all: disappointing and definitely not worth the 50 km journey. Quality and service should be urgently improved!
