Richtig klasse, also die Preise finde ich bei dem Umfangreichen Angebot absolut angemessen und die Getränkeflatrate ist wirklich super. Es gab wirklich viel Auswahl egal ob Fleisch, Fisch oder Nudeln, Reis also eigentlich für jeden etwas dabei 👍🏻 Für Vegetarier oder Veganer keine große Auswahl aber es sind aufjedenfall Speisen in diese Richtung vorhanden. Mein Fazit es lohnt sich definitiv und es wird bestimmt nicht der letzte Besuch gewesen sein. 😊

Kein schlechter Laden, die Auswahl an Speisen war groß, aber eine Reservierung ist unbedingt erforderlich. Es war Samstag. Da es in der Nähe keine Parkplätze gab, parkte ich gegenüber. Man kann zwei Getränke bestellen, zum Beispiel zwei Gläser Wein. Danach kann man sich so viele verschiedene Getränke aus dem Kühlschrank nehmen, wie man möchte. Die Einrichtung ist etwas altmodisch, wahrscheinlich aus den späten 1990er- oder frühen 2000er-Jahren.

Das Personal ist unglaublich unhöflich und respektlos. Die Angestellten scheinen zu glauben, sie hätten keine Konkurrenz, und sind deshalb arrogant geworden – obwohl es in diesem Bereich jede Menge andere Restaurants gibt.! Nie wieder..!

Kann ich wirklich nicht empfehlen. Lieber 10-20€ mehr bezahlen und irgendwo vernünftig essen gehen.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal hier und sind sehr zufrieden. Reichlich Auswahl an frisch gekochten Speisen, sowie jede Menge frische Zutaten um sich eine eigene Variation kochen zu lassen.Auserdem Salate,Sushi und ein überaus reichhaltiges Dessertangebot. Wir hatten über VSpots einen Gutschein erworben, den vergaßen wir im Vorfeld zu zeigen, dennoch wurde er nachträglich akzeptiert.Vielen Dank nochmal dafür. Wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder ☺️

Some of the staff were extremely rude to me, even though I didn't do anything wrong or say anything inappropriate. I couldn't enjoy my meal because they kept watching me and repeatedly reminding or correcting me throughout my visit. I've been to many buffet restaurants before, so I know how a buffet works. I wasn't expecting anyone to serve me or tell me what to do. What made the experience even more upsetting was that other customers were doing exactly the same things, yet the staff ignored them and only spoke to me. I felt singled out for no apparent reason. Dadurch entsteht zusammen mit der großen Auswahl ein sehr gutes und faires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Auch das angenehme, klimatisierte Ambiente sorgt für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt, selbst an warmen Tagen. Insgesamt ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant für alle, die Wert auf Auswahl, frische Zubereitung und guten Service legen.

Mittlerweile richtig frech. Der Mitarbeiter der uns kassierte wurde richtig sauer weil ihm das Trinkgeld anscheinend nicht ausreichte. Wir waren hier über Jahre immer wieder und haben hier schon viel Geld gelassen, aber dann so etwas unverschämtes. Vor allem vor versammelter Runde einen Kunden so dermaßen bloszustellen. Ich ärgere mich jetzt ihm überhaupt Trinkgeld gegeben zu haben. Denn ausser kassieren hat er überhaupt nichts gemacht

Großes Buffet, frische Zubereitung und super freundlicher Service Das Gong Bao ist ein reines Buffet‑Restaurant – und genau das macht den Besuch so angenehm. Die Auswahl ist groß, frisch und abwechslungsreich. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass man sich viele Gerichte direkt frisch zubereiten lassen kann: Zutaten auswählen, abgeben, kurz warten – und schon bekommt man ein heißes, perfekt gewürztes Gericht direkt an den Tisch. Der Service ist wie immer herzlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Man merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt, die Speisen werden regelmäßig nachgefüllt und alles wirkt sauber und gepflegt. Für mich eines der besten asiatischen Buffet‑Restaurants in der Umgebung – lecker, frisch und mit richtig gutem Service. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ich war zum Mittags Buffet dort für 20€ pro Person. Die warmen und rohen Speisen waren nicht so prickelnd. Bei der Bestellung hat der Kellner erklährt das die Getränke all inklusive sind aber das die Trink Flat was kostet hat er nicht erwähnt. Die Peking Suppe und der Nachtisch waren allerdings gut und die Highlights des Besuches.

Wir sind auf Grund der Bewertungen hingegangen und wurden bitter enttäuscht. Kaltes, fettiges Essen und schlechter Service. Man musste eine Getränkeflat nehmen ohne darüber in Kenntnis gesetzt zu werden. Wir haben für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder so viel gezahlt, das war einfach unverschämt für die Leistung.

Das essen absolut nicht lecker essen war kalt und wenig fleich und wenig fisch, und zitrone immer 4 Stück da mehr nicht aber ganz wichtig!!!!! Es wäre viel angenehmer, wenn der Kellner nicht jede Minute am Tisch steht und schon den Teller unter der vollen Gabel weg zieht! Man fühlt sich da nicht wirklich wohl

Wir waren gestern hier essen. Alles frisch und wurde lange aufgefüllt. Die Schokobrunnen wurden leider schon frühzeitig abgeschaltet (mehr als eine Stunde vor der angegebenen Schließungszeit). Sehr sauber, auch die Toiletten. Personal durchweg freundlich. Wir würden wiederkommen. Die schlechten Bewertungen können wir definitiv nicht bestätigen und nicht nachvollziehen. Danke an das Team von Gong Bao, es war ein schöner Abend.

Dieses Asia Restaurant kann ich nur empfehlen !Besonders das Buffet, ich liebe den frisch gebratenen Oktopus 🐙 mit Tomaten, Knoblauch, Ingwer, Zitrone, Chili, Paprika, Chitake Pilzen und Thai CurrySoße, der frische Algen Salat und Sushi, super freundliches Team, sauber gepflegt, gute Verkehrsanbindung an Bus und Ubahn, Richtung Stadt und Hombruch,überzeugt Euch selbst !

Ich glaube das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, inklusive Getränke.

Also...was soll ich sagen? Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit guter Atmosphäre und nettem Personal. Es gibt mittlerweile übrigens auch Roboter die auch witzig sind und gute Laune machen. Getränke kann man selbst auffüllen und seine Gerichte kann man extra (bei Fisch z.B.) warm machen lassen. Die Schokobrunnen sind sehr gut genau wie das Eis und das meiste dort. Das Personal ist immer gut drauf und bei Fragen und Wünschen steht es immer bereit. Einen Besuch auf jeden Fall mal wert. Update (März 2026): Heute war ich das erste Mal nicht hier vorot sondern habe über Lieferando hier bestellt und muss sagen das es sehr schnell gang, frisch und wieder sehr lecker war. Kann die Lieferung also auch empfehlen.

Vor einigen Tagen waren wir wieder einmal in diesem Buffet Gong Bao essen. Bei unseren früheren Besuchen waren wir sowohl mit dem Essen als auch mit dem Service stets sehr zufrieden. Leider wurde unser letzter Besuch durch einen sehr mangelhaften Service deutlich getrübt. Bereits zu Beginn brachte uns der Kellner Bier, ohne zuvor nachzufragen, ob wir überhaupt etwas bestellen möchten. Als ich später meine Grill-Bestellung aufgab, wurden meiner Bestellung plötzlich Pilze hinzugefügt, obwohl ich diese nicht bestellt hatte – besonders problematisch, da ich gegen Pilze allergisch bin. Der unangenehmste Moment folgte jedoch beim Bezahlen. Wir waren zu dritt und haben insgesamt 10 Euro Trinkgeld gegeben. Kurz darauf wurden wir von unserem Kellner fast bis zum Parkplatz verfolgt. Er wollte uns unbedingt mitteilen, dass wir seiner Meinung nach sehr geizig seien. Seiner Ansicht nach müsse man an seinem Geburtstag jedem anwesenden Kellner Trinkgeld geben – nicht nur ihm. Eine solche Unhöflichkeit haben wir noch nie erlebt. Auf den ersten Blick mag dies wie eine Kleinigkeit erscheinen, doch dieser Vorfall hat leider den gesamten Eindruck unseres Besuchs überschattet. Trinkgeld sollte immer eine freiwillige Entscheidung bleiben – jeder Gast sollte selbst entscheiden können, ob und wie viel er geben möchte.

Wir sind seit Jahren Stammkunden im Gong Bao All You Can Eat und kommen immer wieder gerne. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich top. Für das, was man bekommt, ist der Preis absolut fair. Die Qualität der Speisen ist gut, alles wirkt frisch und wird regelmäßig nachgefüllt. Gerade für ein All-You-Can-Eat Restaurant ist das keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Besonders toll finden wir, wie familienfreundlich das Restaurant ist. Es gibt eine Spielecke für Kinder, was den Besuch für Familien deutlich entspannter macht. Außerdem ist alles barrierefrei gestaltet, was ich sehr positiv finde. Mittlerweile sind sogar Hunde erlaubt – das ist ein echtes Plus für Tierbesitzer. Ein Highlight bei Geburtstagen ist das super süße Tisch-Feuerwerk mit Happy-Birthday-Song vom Servier-Roboter. Das sorgt jedes Mal für strahlende Gesichter und eine richtig schöne Stimmung. Die Toiletten sind ordentlich und sauber, und das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich willkommen und gut betreut. Für uns steht fest: Gong Bao ist seit Jahren eine feste Adresse für gutes Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Absolute Empfehlung.

Das Restaurant ist in die Jahre gekommmen, aber die Auswahl und Qualität sind echt gut für den Preis. Komme wieder.

Sehr enttäuschender Besuch. Wir hatten für 9 Personen reserviert, vor Ort hieß es plötzlich, es seien nur für 7 Personen reserviert. Das Buffet war teilweise kalt, geschmacklich schwach und wirkte insgesamt lieblos. Als „Lösung“ für die Reservierungspanne wurden wir direkt an einen Tisch vorne an der Eingangstür gesetzt. Die Tür ging ständig auf, teilweise über eine halbe Stunde am Stück, weil laufend neue Gäste kamen. Es war kalt, zugig und extrem unangenehm. Auf unseren Hinweis wurde uns ernsthaft gesagt, wir sollen uns eine Jacke anziehen, wenn uns kalt sei. Absolut unprofessionell und respektlos gegenüber zahlenden Gästen. So stellt man sich weder Service noch ein gemütliches Restaurant vor. Einmal und nie wieder.

Typical Asian buffet. The price and buffet conditions, especially the included drinks, are really good. The food is consistently bland and unimaginative, and grilled items take a very, very long time to prepare. Sometimes, while waiting for the first dish, you end up making yourself another plate to eat without a forced break. It's probably fine for children's birthday parties or other informal celebrations, but anyone looking for "good/authentic food" should look elsewhere.

We wanted to try something new, so we ended up at Gong Bao for the lunch buffet. It turned out to be a lucky find. A fantastic, large, and delicious buffet with a great taste. For €21.90, an unlimited drinks package was included. I've definitely experienced a more inviting atmosphere before, as you could tell the restaurant had probably been a grocery store at one time. That's why I'm only giving it 3 stars. However, the staff was sensational – friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. If you enjoy good food and appreciate excellent hospitality, this is the place for you.

I celebrated my wedding there because I wanted a quiet celebration. There were 17 of us, including children. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful with the decor. The food was delicious and freshly prepared! We'll be happy to come back!"

We went to Gong Bao twice, and once it was quite okay, the other time a real disappointment. The dishes taste okay, except for the grilled dish – I thought that was really good. There's always only a little in the bowls, which I generally think is a good thing, but I found it annoying that I had to keep pointing out when something was empty, which happened incredibly often. On top of that, the price is really high. In my opinion, other restaurants simply offer much more, better quality, and a nicer atmosphere for the same price.

Everything is a bit shabby, the walls are stained, the tables are old. But the food is normal (although the choice is not big) and the staff is friendly.

We were there yesterday and we loved it. The food was delicious, and there was a large selection of drinks included in the buffet price. Hot drinks were also available. There are high chairs and a play area for children. The restrooms, however, are no longer nice and need to be renovated.

Today, four of us went to Gong Bao; we've been eating there regularly for several years. Unfortunately, I have to say that the quality of the food has declined considerably over the last two times. The Mongolian buffet is still good and tasty, but the regular Chinese buffet is no longer good. Some of the food is cold, tastes sticky, as if it's been sitting there for a while or is old, and some of it isn't seasoned at all. The drinks package doesn't help much, because we want to eat well, not drink ourselves to the bone. Sorry, but we won't be coming back for a while.

Wir waren mit mit 5 Pers. zgl. 3 Kinder da. Mein Vater sitzt im Rollstuhl.. Um 17,30 öffnet dieses Lokal.... Die Bedienung hat die Tür aufgeschlossen ( aber ein NOGO ) nicht die Tür aufgehalten !!!! NAJA Essen war OK... Viele Beilagen waren fast roh ( Broccoli ) sowie andere Beilagen auch... Ich war zum 1.mal... Komme aus Dorsten... Die erdnuss-sauce ( ich liebe sie ) unter aller Würde!!!!... Schmeckt nach Wasser.... zu einen preis von 35€ pro Pers..... Nie Wieder das ist es nicht wert

Hi, it was my first time in this restaurant and I couldn't help but be amazed because even when there were 12 of us, we were greeted in a really friendly manner and the service staff explained everything to us, where we could get drinks and how the really great and delicious buffet works, from side dishes to fried meat, fish and much more, everything I ate was just delicious and there was an empty plate on the table that was cleared away by the service staff. Thanks for the delicious evening!

Super tasty all you can eat buffet with a huge selection and flat drinks. This even contains branded bottles. If you really want to drink wine or beer with alcohol, you get 2 in the flat. We'll be back✌️
