Ich kann einen Besuch nur empfehlen, es ist sehr lecker, und vor allem kann man sich aussuchen, was man auf dem Teller haben möchte.

Ich war gestern das erste Mal bei Mukii Malatang und kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Das war das beste Malatang was ich je hatte. Die Rinderknochenbrühe war super lecker und es hatte auch die perfekte Schärfe. Die Auswahl an Zutaten war auch echt groß und was ich am besten fand, war das die frittierten Garnelen und Youtiao nicht in der Suppe mitgekocht worden sind sondern extra zubereitet wurden. Dadurch waren sie nicht so matschig wie bei anderen Malatangrestaurants bei denen ich war. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und das Restaurant hat insgesamt eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre. Ich freue mich darauf wiederzukommen!!

Nettes Personal und gutes Essen, die Auslage sah frisch und ordentlich aus. Sowohl die dry Noodles meines Mannes als auch meine Tom Yam Brühe waren sehr lecker. Da wir uns ausversehen den heißesten Tag des Jahres ausgesucht haben, um unseren Gutschein einzulösen, war unser Appetit nicht allzu groß, man hat uns das Essen gut verpackt, sodass wir abends cold Noodles verspeisen konnten.👍🏼

Ich fand es nicht besonders lecker, Fleisch und Fisch nicht ordentlich gekühlt und Fliegen drauf...hab es daher garnicht erst probiert.Leider gab es auch keinen Reis, obwohl die Website damit wirbt .Musik zu laut um sich noch zu unterhalten. Das war der Erste und letzte Besuch.

Ein toller Ort für eine schnelle Mahlzeit. Man kann die Zutaten selbst auswählen, und das Essen wird schnell zubereitet.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal nach dem Umbau dort und es hat uns wirklich gut gefallen. Das Essen war lecker und hat echt satt gemacht. Der Preis ist super fair für das was man bekommt. Wir kommen wieder!

Ich war dort vor ein paar Tagen mit meiner holden Maid speisen. Von einer Quelle bekamen wir einen Rabattcode ( Tiktok). Es war vermos, jedoch waren wir ein wenig gekränkt, weil es dort kaum Tierleid-freie Speisen gab. Gemüse gab es in Massen. Trotzdem hat es uns sehr gemundet, ein hoch auf die Miso-Suppe☝️👽 Wir wünschten es gäbe eine größere vegane Auswahl🫪 Wir raten außerdem von dem schwammigen Tofu ab. Die Konsistenz hat mich nun wirklich nicht überzeugt. Alles in Allem eine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bewertung, Bedienung war sehr freundlich, Musik war nicht zu laut und das Gemüse war köstlich🌽 Kommet ruhig her und lasset euch selber von den Speisen überzeugen GaLiGrü 🦅🦅🦅

Einfach super dort, war da heute zum zweiten Mal mit meiner besten Freundin und der Service als auch das Essen sind einfach Klasse. Annia (hoffentlich richtig geschrieben) ist mega nett! 🫶

Mit einer kleinen Gruppe wollten wir diese Location einmal ausprobieren. Als wir ankamen war die Begrüßung und der Service noch gut. Wir nahmen Platz, es dauerte eine Weile bis die Getränke aufgenommen wurden, die Location war noch recht leer. Einfach und recht spartanisch eingerichtet. Die Speisen waren geschmacklich ok, Durchschnitt. Leider wurden die Gerichte beim Abholen etwas durcheinandergebracht. Was ich als wirklich negativ einstufe, ist das obwohl mindestens 10 Mal an unserem Tisch entlanggelaufen wurde ich 50 Minuten ein leeres Glas hatte, es wurde nicht einmal nachgefragt, ob man noch etwas trinken möchte. Dann würde irgendwann der Tisch zu 3/4 abgeräumt. 2 leere Gedeck blieben über eine Stunde auf dem Tisch stehen, obwohl man zig Mal an unserem Tisch vorbeigegangen ist. Insgesamt würde ich nicht nocheinmal dort einkehren, denn Service und Aufmerksamkeit zum Wohlfühlen stelle ich mir ein wenig anders vor.

Alles top, bloß etwas zu dunkel im Restaurant.

Es ist unser liebstes malatang Restaurant , es lohnen sich immer wieder die 48 km Fahrt. Schönes Ambiente , eine große Auswahl an selbst gemachten Getränken zu einem guten Preis und freundliches Personal.

Hervorragender Service, große Auswahl und schönes Ambiente. Frische Zutaten zur Auswahl und auf Allergien wir Rücksicht genommen.

Bei mir war ein Haar in meiner Suppe. Das war für mich an sich nicht das Problem, da sowas wirklich mal passieren kann, aber nachdem der Service dort leider nicht angemessen reagiert hat, kann ich nicht mehr Punkte geben. Angeblich kann man kein Geld mehr zurückbuchen, da sonst der Steuerberater Fragen stellt? Der sehr Kundenorientierte Lösungsvorschlag war eine Cola aufs Haus bei einer Suppe für knapp 30€.

Nach dem Wechsel des Angebots zu Malatang und Bowls muss ich sagen, dass wir weiterhin begeistert sind. Das neue Konzept ist super. Man hat eine große Auswahl an "Füllungen"/Zutaten für seine Ramen und auch die Bowl war mega lecker. Der Service war freundlich und hat uns den Ablauf auch sehr gut erklärt. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Die Brühe Sorten sind schwierig. Es fehlt eine kräftige-klare/"neutrale"-Brühe. Wir würden uns wünschen das die Brühen überdenkt werden. Ansonst alles ok.

Ich mag das Konzept, sich seine Ramen-Suppen selbst zusammenstellen zu können. So ist es kein reiner Restaurantbesuch, sondern auch etwas spezielles. Bedienung war extrem freundlich, Örtlichkeit hygienisch astrein, gepflegt und ansprechend. Essen war top! Rosenthal/Kleppingstraße hat sich generell in den letzten Jahren gut gemacht. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

Im Mukii Malarang erwartet einen eine wirklich große Auswahl an frischen und bereits gebratenen Köstlichkeiten, die man sich ganz individuell zusammenstellen kann. Besonders begeistert hat uns die umwerfende Auswahl an Nudeln – darunter auch frische Varianten – sowie die vielen unterschiedlichen Spieße. Genau das macht das Konzept abwechslungsreich und interessant. Auch unser Kellner war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Man sollte allerdings wissen, dass nur die Getränke serviert werden, der Rest läuft im Selfservice ab, was aber gut organisiert war. Etwas enttäuschend fanden wir die Getränke. Wir hatten das Mango Yakult House Special sowie die Berry Style Limo. Beide waren für unseren Geschmack deutlich zu süß und schmeckten eher nach Sirup als nach frischen Zutaten. Trotzdem insgesamt ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant mit spannendem Konzept und toller Auswahl.

Das Malatang ist hervorragend, auch wenn ich die Lagerung der frischen Zutaten (insbesondere Fleisch und Fisch) auf Eis bevorzugen würde. Es schmeckt jedenfalls sehr gut. Das Essen wird im Anschluss auch super schnell zubereitet. Der Service ist auch freundlich. Beim Ambiente gibt es einen Stern Abzug, da der Gemütlichkeitsfaktor höher sein könnte.

Habe letzte Woche eine Bowl mit Hähnchen gegessen. Kurz danach ging es mir sehr schlecht (Durchfall, Erbrechen, Fieber), daher vermute ich eine Lebensmittelvergiftung. Geschmack war okay, aber die Erfahrung leider gar nicht.

Alles super, tolles Feeling und gute Atmosphäre. Auch das Essen ist immer wieder Eine Freude.

Leider war meine Bowl überhaupt nicht genießbar und ich musste sie stehen lassen, weil ich nur(!) Sojasauce geschmeckt habe und es wirklich einfach überwältigend war. Wirklich schade, da es offensichtlich eine frische leckerere Bowl gewesen wäre. vielleicht sollte man die Soßen in einem extra Schüsselchen servieren.

Erster Eindruck war sehr positiv. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und die gesamte Aufmachung gefällt mir persönlich auch sehr. Man darf nur nicht zu genau hinschauen. Löcher in der Wand, Farbe, die mit der Dose schlecht aufgetragen wurde, etc. Die Stühle müssen weg! Direkt beim ersten Mal Anlehnen wollten wir alle wieder weg. So unbequeme Stühle habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gefunden. Die Stahlstrebe drückt unangenehm im mittleren Rücken und sagt ganz klar: „Bezahlen und gehen!“ Essen: An sich sehr lecker, was ich probieren durfte, jedoch empfand ich das Fleisch als sehr salzig.

Für Malatang gab es eine gute Auswahl an Lebensmitteln und Brühen. Leider schmeckte es uns nicht so wirklich, sodass wir das erste Mal sagen würden, dass wir das zuhause besser können. :D Ich habe das Essen zudem überhaupt nicht vertragen und das Eingepackte am nächsten Tag war leider für die Tonne, schmeckte auch gar nicht mehr. Das Ambiente war echt nicht so dolle. Abgewohnt, wir haben auf sehr alten kaputten Sesseln gesessen und auch sonst gabs nicht viel anzugucken. Der Service war gut und nett. Wir kommen vermutlich nicht wieder.

Schwarzer, lebender Käfer aus dem Essen heraus gekrabbelt. - Wir waren gestern Abend vor Ort & haben uns 2 Suppen zusammen gestellt. Da wir bei einer Suppe zu viel in die Bowl gelegt hatten und einiges übrig geblieben ist, haben wir uns die Suppe einpacken lassen. Diese hatten wir über Nacht im Kühlschrank und wollten sie gerade nach dem Aufwärmen essen, als dieser kleine Käfer aus dem Essen gekrabbelt kam. Leider ein absolutes No-Go. - Der Kellner vor Ort war super nett und hat uns das Konzept des Restaurants in Ruhe erklärt. An sich hat uns die Möglichkeit der individuellen Zutatenauswahl auch gefallen. Dennoch bleibt jetzt ein mulmiges Gefühl.

Mu-Kii. Bekannt vor allem unter dem Etablisment aus dem Raume Dortmund Hörde. Gänzlich zufrieden war dort die kulinarische Reise der Sinne. Nur ist es in dem Etablisment absolut untergegangen. Das positive zuerst: Die Servicepersonen sind äußerst zuvorkommend und lassen keinen Wunsch offen. Auch das Ambiente, bzw. die allgemeine Ästehtik des Raumes, mag zwar modern japanisch sein, jedoch ähnelt es mehr einem Buffet-House. Die herabhängenden Regenschirme an der Decke sind definitiv ein Hingucker. Ebenso wie die Toiletten, sauber und hygienisch, kein Bahnhofsklo. Nun kommen wir zum Herzstück jedes Restaurants: Das Essen. Eine gute Bowl, eine gute Ramen ist im Kern von einer kraftvollen und umamilastigen Brühe berührt. Bei meiner Bowl, wurde sie von unproportionierten Glutamat produziert und mit mehr Salz als Brühe gewürzt. Bitter, metallisch und einfach „leer“. Die Zutaten selber, saugen leider den Geschmack auf, wodurch das Gesamtprodukt leidet. Auch die Tomatenbrühe meiner Kompanin, hat mit japanischer Küche soviel zu tun, wie Markus Söder mit sozialen Werten. Na ja, müsst ihr wissen.

Echt lecker aber für uns war es am Ende doch ein teurerer Hot Pot 😅

Es war sooo lecker 🥹 War bisschen skeptisch, weil ich das Restaurant noch für Sushi kannte, aber die Suppe wurde bis auf den letzten Tropfen LEE geschlürft. Fazit = LECKER!

Einfach wow. Das Essen könnte nicht besser sein und preislich auch super im Rahmen. Nette Bedienung, gerne wieder!

Am Wochenende mit der Familie dort gewesen. Das Konzept ist richtig gut, die Suppe war sehr lecker. Ja, es kostet vielleicht den ein oder anderen Euro mehr aber für diese frische Art der Zubereitung und die Auswahl an teilweise exotischen Produkten gebe ich das gerne ab und an mal aus!

Zu Teuer. Wir haben zu zweit dort gegessen und haben Malatang ausprobiert. Man nimmt pro Person eine große Schüssel und geht durch das Buffet und füllt die Schüssel mit beliebigen Zutaten. Die Schüssel ist wie eine riesige Salatsschüssel und man hat gar kein Gefühl dafür, wie viel man hinein tut. Dadurch sieht der Inhalt auch sehr wenig aus, weil die Schüssel so groß ist. Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort, ich kann mir vorstellen, dass bei viel Betrieb das Ganze ziemlich nervig ist, weil jeder am Buffet stehen wird. Wir haben für 850 g Schüsseln 55 € bezahlt, was ich ziemlich teuer finde. Wir könnten bei dem Asiaten nebenan für zwei Ramen Suppen inklusive Getränke für 30 € für zwei essen. Letztlich ist es eigentlich nur eine Suppe mit beliebigen Zutaten. Das Konzept ist ganz cool allerdings finde ich es viel zu teuer.

Vor allem das Malatang im Mukii Dortmund war einfach hervorragend – super frisch, große Auswahl an Zutaten und genau richtig gewürzt. Man kann sich alles individuell zusammenstellen, was ich besonders toll finde. Die Brühe war richtig aromatisch und authentisch – genau so, wie man es sich bei gutem Malatang wünscht! Auch der Service war freundlich und die Atmosphäre angenehm. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Das Konzept fand ich ziemlich interessant. Es macht sehr viel Spaß sich seine Suppe selber zusammen zu basteln. Und ich verstehe dass man pro Kilo bezahlen muss. Allerdings finde ich es sehr unverschämt, dass die einzige Waage im Restaurant an den Kassen ist. Ich kann echt nicht gut einschätzen wie schwer etwas ist und war dann echt überrascht, dass ich über 25€ für eine Suppe bezahlen musste. Außerdem war ein Kellner sehr unfreundlich. Daher werde ich, obwohl das Essen lecker war, vermutlich nicht nochmal das Restaurant besuchen.

Ich habe das auf Tiktok gesehen und habe mich echt auf Malatang in Dortmund gefreut, weil ich das Konzept auch nicht wirklich kannte. Dennoch muss ich bedauerlicherweise heute etwas negativ sprechen. Meine Miso-Suppe war leider nicht so lecker. Es war vorallem sehr klebrig. Personal war sehr lieb und freundlich, daher war ich am ende echt traurig, dass das nicht so gut geschmeckt hat wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Das Bestellsystem mit den Getränken, leider echt kompliziert. Ambiente hat mir leider auch nicht so gut gefallen. Da müsste aber jeder seine eigene Meinung machen!

Wirklich die beste Neueröffnung in Dortmund seit langem! Wir waren gestern abend da und trotz der vielen reservierungen war das mu-kii team sehr herzlich! Da meine Suppe mir erst viel zu scharf war, hat mir der Service angeboten, sie noch einmal neu zu machen, das kann man nicht in jedem Restaurant erwarten! Mega lieb und die Malatang Suppe war super lecker!! :))

Ein wirklich hervorragendes Essen. Tipp von mir: Heiße Getränke und Fleisch erst bestellen, nachdem man an der Suppenbar war, sonst steht es bei der Rückkehr kalt am Tisch. Auf die Bestellung der Getränke mussten wir lange warten. An sonsten zahlten wir füe drei hervorragende Suppen 76 Euro plus Getränke.

Malatang: Kantinenatmosphäre, zu teuer, zu unruhig durch das Gerenne, Platz für die Zutaten für Ramen zu beengt. Man behindert sich gegenseitig. Essen ok

Es war unglaublich lecker, die Bedienung ist super freundlich, man fühlt sich im Vergleich zu anderen Malatang Läden nicht gehetzt. Und es gibt viele verschiedene vegetarische Brühen, ich werde nochmal kommen :)

Ich war vor ein paar Tagen hier essen und ich liebe das Konzept. Man hat eine riesen Auswahl, es fehlt an nichts und man wird wirklich sehr satt für einen tollen Preis. Ich hatte die Miso Suppe als Grundlage und diese kann ich auch ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen. Ich komme gerne wieder! Danke

Tolles Konzept, vor allem wenn man sein Essen gerne selbst zusammenstellt. Ich fand es richtig cool, dass man zwischen Malatang, Bowls und gegrillten Spießen wählen kann und Schärfe sowie Zutaten selbst bestimmen kann. Dadurch hat man nicht einfach irgendein Gericht, sondern wirklich etwas, das genau zum eigenen Geschmack passt. Die Auswahl ist vielseitig und modern, besonders wenn man asiatisch inspirierte, frisch zubereitete Gerichte mag. Auch das Ambiente fand ich wirklich angenehm❤️

Das Konzept an sich (also Fokus auf Malatang) ist in ordnung, aber paar Punkte kann ich überhaupt nicht verstehen. 1. Wie kommt man drauf Schiebefenster bei den Malatang Sachen einzubauen? Das ist Katastrophal, man kommt an die Sachen nicht richtig ran und die Kunden nehmen sich gegenseitig den Platz weg. 2. Kellner Konzept bei einem Malatang Laden. Völlig unnötig und sogar nervig, passt überhaupt nicht zu dem Konzept. Verzichtet auf die Fancy Getränke, packt da ein Kühlschrank hin und gut is. Die Getränke passen sowieso nicht zu Malatang! Das ganze Konzept ist unnötig kompliziert gemacht. Man ist genervt bevor man schon das Essen bekommt. 3. Das wichtigste: der Geschmack. Die einzelnen Sachen die man auswählen kann sind ganz inordnung, (auch hier richtig unnötig das man eine ganze Packung Udon nudeln nehmen muss) aber die Tom Yam Brühe hat leider überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Also der Geschmack hat das nervige Konzept nicht gerettet!! Wenn da nicht s verändert wird sehe ich den Laden flöten gehen. Ein zweiten Besuch von mir wird es aufjedenfall nicht geben.

Für mich ist das Mu-Kii Dortmund Innenstadt deutlich besser als das Mu-Kii Phoenix See. Die Qualität des Essens ist spürbar höher: frischere Produkte, bessere Zubereitung und geschmacklich einfach überzeugender. Alles wirkt sorgfältiger gemacht und nicht wie Massenabfertigung. Auch der Service ist freundlicher und aufmerksamer. Man fühlt sich willkommen und gut betreut. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Die Toiletten sind sauberer und es gibt mehr davon als am Phoenix See – das macht gerade bei viel Betrieb einen großen Unterschied. Klare Empfehlung für die Innenstadt-Filiale.

Zunächst einmal möchte ich sagen, dass es in Deutschland viele asiatische Restaurants mit All-you-can-eat-Angebot und Tablet-Service gibt, und einige davon bieten einen hohen Standard. Leider kann ich das von Mu Kii Dortmund nicht behaupten. Bis heute hätte ich nicht gedacht, dass man Lammkoteletts mit Knochen so verhunzen kann, aber es geht. Das Fleisch war faserig und völlig ungewürzt. Nach dem Braten wurde es einfach nur mit etwas Soße beträufelt. Absolut widerlich. Die scharfen Edamame mit Sesam enthielten keinen Sesam, und das Lachstatar mit Mango war eine ganz andere Geschichte – wahrscheinlich mit der Axt gehackt. Was Sushi angeht: In Restaurants, in denen der Preis pro Person 30–40 € beträgt, kann man gutes Sushi mit gutem Lachs oder Sashimi nach Herzenslust genießen. Hier leider nicht. Das Lachssashimi, auf das wir uns am meisten gefreut hatten, kostete 2 € extra. Dasselbe gilt für die Getränke. Die Cola wurde uns nicht in einer Flasche serviert, sondern wir bekamen ein Glas mit etwas Ähnlichem vom Fass … igitt … Ein Glas Weißwein kostete 7,90 €. Die Maki California mit Surimi, Heringskaviar und Philadelphia-Rolle enthielt mehr Gurke als Lachs. Das Nigiri, ohne einen Hauch Wasabi unter dem Fisch und mit Algen zusammengebunden, zerfiel leider. Und der Reis … Oh, dieser Reis! Gut gemachter Reis ist so lecker, dass man ihn pur essen könnte … aber dieser hier nicht. Sogar die Sojasauce wird in Yamasa-Flaschen serviert, die wahrscheinlich schon hunderte Male nachgefüllt wurden. Und meine Lieben … wenn man die Garnelen zu lange kocht, werden sie zäh, genau wie eure. Das Essen ist einfach nur schrecklich. Ich rate dringend davon ab, hier gut zu essen. P.S. Es gibt keine Garderobenständer für Oberbekleidung im Zimmer, und alle müssen ihre Mäntel über die Stuhllehnen hängen. Da diese niedrig sind, schleifen die Mäntel über den Boden. Das Zimmer ist voll, daher empfehle ich, die Ausstattung zu verbessern, denn dieser Zustand wird nicht ewig so bleiben. P.S. 2: Es wäre hilfreich, Warmwasser im Badezimmer zu installieren, Handtücher bereitzustellen und die Spinnweben zu entfernen.

Das All-you-can-eat lohnt sich eigentlich nur, wenn man viel Sushi isst, da die warmen Speisen eher unterer Durchschnitt sind, wenn auch nicht schlecht. Das Sushi hingegen ist aber wirklich gut gemacht und echt lecker!

Gestern Abend dort gewesen, in der Nacht und am nächsten Morgen Magenschmerzen und erbrechen gehabt. Vermutlich war es der Reisburger mit Hähnchen.

Man könnte 0 Sterne geben – leider wäre das noch zu viel. Wir waren am Wochenende zum ersten Mal dort. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett, aber das reicht leider nicht aus, wenn man extrem lange auf seine Bestellung warten muss. Wir haben alle Gerichte getrennt bekommen: Eine Person war schon am Essen, der Rest hat nur zugeschaut, weil auf dem Tisch jeweils nur eines von insgesamt 15 bestellten Gerichten stand. Unsere Bestellung aus Runde 1 haben wir teilweise erst in der 4. Runde erhalten. Die Mitarbeiter haben sich mehrfach vertan, Dinge vergessen oder wussten teilweise gar nicht, was wir eigentlich bestellt hatten. Wir mussten selbst ständig darauf achten, dass unser Essen kommt. Einige Speisen haben wir am Ende gar nicht bekommen, obwohl wir mehrmals danach gefragt haben. Hier fehlt definitiv die Kontrolle. Wir haben volles Verständnis dafür, wenn viel los ist. Auch längere Wartezeiten sind normal. Aber wenn man am Ende eine kalte Suppe bekommt und danach weitere 50 Minuten warten muss, geht das gar nicht. Das Sushi war geschmacklos und teilweise so schlecht gemacht, dass es schon auf dem Teller auseinandergefallen ist. Viel zu viel Mayo, das Sushi war sehr trocken und man konnte kaum unterscheiden, was überhaupt drin war. Wir hatten das Gefühl, als würde dort jemand kochen, der leider keine Ahnung von Sushi hat. Die Auswahl an Speisen, vor allem beim Sushi, war sehr, sehr klein. Nach vier Runden gab es nichts mehr, was wir bestellen wollten, weil alles, was wir probiert haben, eine Katastrophe war. Die Desserts waren leider genauso enttäuschend: Von 8 Eissorten waren nur 3 verfügbar. Raffaello wirkte, als wäre es einfach aus der Mikrowelle. Die Banane war fettig und flüssig – nach einem Bissen konnte man sie nicht mehr essen. Ich bin wirklich sehr enttäuscht. Ich habe extra meine Freunde eingeladen und hatte große Hoffnung, dass wir bei euch lecker essen können. Am Ende waren wir alle unzufrieden. Es tut mir leid, aber so ein schreckliches Essen und einen so schlechten Service habe ich persönlich noch nie erlebt.

The most unpleasant and unfriendly restaurant in the city. As a tourist I do not recommend it

This was the first restaurant my husband and I visited where we ordered using tablets. A great idea, and it's wonderful that so many other places now offer this service :D <3 The food has always been very good, although I always felt it was missing a sweet and spicy chili sauce. Almost everything was served with just teriyaki or soy sauce – which is a bit of a shame. But the food was excellent, the sushi was fresh and delicious, and it's great if you just want to try a few different things. The drinks are top-notch; I wouldn't trade them for anything. They've all been really well-made, very tasty, and not too heavy. We'll definitely be back :)

Very friendly staff and the food was really delicious! The shop and restrooms were clean, so I have nothing bad to say about this place.

The food in the restaurant was okay. The sushi was fine. What made the experience less pleasant was the waiters' strong perfume smell. This is quite distracting while eating, as it overpowers the aromas of the food. It's a shame, because with a little more attention to these details, the overall experience could be much better.

The quality of the food at MuKii Dortmund City and Phönixsee differs significantly. The food in the city center is consistently good after several visits; it's really delicious and cooked to perfection. At Phönixsee, however, the restaurant primarily seems to be run with a focus on profits. The location of MuKii at Phönixsee is therefore greatly overrated, which is reflected in the food. MuKii in the city center, on the other hand, is recommendable for its cuisine and ambiance.

Anyone who likes Asian food, especially sushi, has to come here. The price is reasonable considering the quantity, variety, and quality.

My family and I had a truly wonderful experience at this restaurant. The main reason for this was Victoria, who looked after us. We've recently moved to Germany and are still in the process of learning German. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, and supported us in such a lovely way—I would like to thank her so much for that. If I go back to this restaurant, I definitely want to sit at the table Victoria is in charge of. I think employers should reward employees like her. She even briefly chatted with us about football as she walked by—a truly very polite, personable, and friendly employee. I thank her from the bottom of my heart. See you soon!

What was that? It wasn't my first time there, but it might be the last. I've never experienced having to wait at least 15 minutes for food. Normally, it arrives piece by piece, taking just a minute. How can it take 20 minutes for ice cream? That's not normal. We've already ordered food for the third round, even though the second one didn't even arrive because it took so long... that's NOT OK!

We were here with a group of 9 people and had made a reservation. When we walked in, we were barely greeted, the tablets weren't explained to us, and we were only briefly asked if we had been there before. One person in the group confirmed that they hadn't, and several others denied that they hadn't. Here, we were simply noticing that we had. At the table, you could easily hear the conversations of the other tables, even though their voices weren't actually that loud, and sometimes they were louder than your own. We personally didn't like the interior design, especially the stone statue that was squatting next to the table as if defecating. But of course, this depends on your taste. The tables and tablets were clean, and it wasn't a problem to put two tables together, which is a definite plus. The drinks are reasonably priced at €6-7 for a lemonade, around €4 for a Coke, and €3 for a tea. As mentioned, you could order food via a tablet. Here, we had a tablet for 4 people, and you could order 4 dishes per round, so in our case, 16 dishes per round, every 15 minutes. You could order a maximum of 6 rounds of food, which meant you could only order drinks and dessert in the 7th. The selection was large, but more than a third of the items cost extra. My main problem, however, was that the items arrived very late, even if the same item was ordered in the same round. For example, my colleagues had already ordered their third round while items from my first order round were still arriving. Also, items kept coming, either not at all or incorrectly, meaning they weren't ordered by anyone at our table. Once, I tried to find or speak to a waiter because instead of udon noodles and a chicken skewer, I got a shrimp skewer and regular noodles, and no one else at our table had ordered either of those. Finding a waiter proved difficult; no one looked at the table or in our direction, and even when serving food to other tables, the waiters were gone in a flash, which seemed more rushed than professional. When I finally asked a waiter who came to our table to collect our empty dishes, he looked completely overwhelmed and couldn't understand my question about whether I could exchange the food or return it free of charge and get my order. Only when someone else offered to take my order did the waiter get used to it, gave him the order, and offered to pass my order back to the manager. In general, it was difficult, if not impossible, to ask questions or speak to a waiter. The food itself was ambivalent in terms of taste, quality, and portion size. There were options for ordering two small pieces of maki or one nigiri, but also whole bowls with a few toppings and otherwise tons of cold rice. Some of the food was very tasty, some bland, like the miso soup or the gyoza, but some of the vegetarian sushi, for example, tasted fermented, or the rice was several days old and cold. Heat was generally the problem. Skewers, steak, rice, breaded maki, and more arrived cold, even when they were deep-fried or pan-fried, and other times they arrived warm. For dessert, there were free fried bananas, Raffaellos, and ice cream. There were theoretically seven flavors of ice cream, but at the time of our meal, only three. You could place one order per person, with a maximum of three scoops. Unfortunately, the ice cream arrived half-melted, and even then, after a very long wait. Finally, paying was problem-free. You could pay for the people sharing the tablet either together or separately. If you wanted to pay separately, you just had to specify which of the extras belonged to your own bill. So it was a very mixed evening, very enjoyable thanks to the company, but we won't go again.

We ate there in August and unfortunately had a rather mixed experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, which we really want to highlight. Ordering from a tray was also cool and easy. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, but there's no room for jackets or bags, which is quite inconvenient. Many dishes were unfortunately cold and the overall taste was very bland – not just the sauces, but also the food itself didn't impress us. That was quite disappointing for us, especially considering the prices. The drinks, on the other hand, were really great and saved the evening to some extent. Another annoying thing was that the entrance door was broken – you couldn't open it yourself from the outside because there was no handle, so the staff had to help you every time. Overall: very friendly service and good drinks, but the food and some organizational aspects still have a lot of room for improvement.

While we were still able to give this place 5 stars across the board four years ago, only the food remains very good. The ambiance has deteriorated considerably, as defects are not repaired and remedied. The attached photos of the restroom are just one example, as I didn't want to take photos in the restaurant itself. One gets the impression that the place is now used solely as a cash cow to extract money, with little emphasis on the appearance and ambiance as it was a few years ago. This is probably also the reason for the drastic decline in visitors and employee numbers. It's a shame about such a beautiful basic concept, which will probably disappear from Kleppingstraße sooner or later.

Why do we have to put a receipt on every meal? Sure, it's easier for the waiters. But isn't that thing toxic?

Great service and the food is delicious, BUT it feels like you're starving for 30 minutes between each round. It's almost outrageous that you have to wait so long between rounds and the number of dishes you can order per round is so limited.

We recently dined at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. What I didn't like was that there was no room for coats, bags, or similar items (birthday gifts), even though they had pointed this out when making the reservation.

Very nice! I highly recommend it. The staff is very polite and you receive a very warm welcome. There was a very large selection. I can recommend the drink "MU-KII LEMONADE." I think the lunch is perfectly adequate. I highly recommend it.

Food arrived incomplete several times. The first order took 35 minutes, even though the store was half full. The food was, at least when it was right, delicious. Card payments are only possible for amounts over €15, which wasn't communicated anywhere.

We visited Mu-Kii downtown for another visit, and it was a bit mixed. It's interesting that you can order dishes using a tablet. With each order, you can order four dishes per person. The next ones arrive after 15 minutes. Drinks, however, are exempt from this rule and can always be ordered. Some dishes were lukewarm, some were actually hot. Overall, we enjoyed the dishes. The specials menu, which offers new creations every now and then, deserves special mention. The drinks took a long time to arrive because we already had our first dishes on the table. It's important to note that not all dishes are included in the all-you-can-eat menu. For example, salmon or tuna sashimi costs extra. The team at Mu-Kii downtown is very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has been expanded to include an additional room, providing even more seating. There is also an outdoor seating area. The noise level was okay, but the tables are very close together.

Three of us were there yesterday. It was quite busy for a Wednesday during the school holidays at 6 p.m. The food was okay; it's a kind of all-you-can-eat, so don't expect too much. The sushi, for example, was OK, but the lamb was a bit tough and not cooked well (tendon). That's the spectrum. Overall, good, but not outstanding. There were problems throughout the evening; at some point, the ordered items don't arrive, arrive very late, or are incorrect. It's annoying and also tarnishes the overall experience. I only go there once every few months. The atmosphere is quite nice, sometimes in the city, sometimes at Phoenix Lake. The good thing was that it wasn't as loud as at the lake. Conclusion: I'll definitely go again, but it wouldn't be my preferred feeding place.

Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. The service was very slow – we had to ask for a tray twice before we were even served. The soy sauce tasted like it had vinegar in it, and the wasabi wasn't at all spicy, like you'd expect from a good wasabi. The Coke was also unfortunately still carbonated. The sushi was delicious, though – that somewhat salvaged the overall impression. Overall, the value for money wasn't right for me. What a shame!

Unfortunately, the selection is small and one-sided compared to competitors. The wrong thing is often brought to the table, or orders suddenly arrive all at once. Otherwise, the servers were pleasant, and the food was okay, so it wasn't a disaster.

To be honest, the food was pretty bad; I only liked half of the dishes. I usually like everything at Asian restaurants or sushi... but it would have been pretty expensive at €33 for the all-you-can-eat option.

This was our third time here, and unfortunately, we were so disappointed this time that I have to say I wouldn't go to Muki downtown again. We ordered food, and each time something was missing from our order. I went to the waiter three times without success, but I still didn't get the edamame. When paying, we pointed out that we had asked for it several times, but we didn't receive any compensation. I won't be going to this place again, as no one tried to accommodate us. They then told us that since we only had five rounds, it wouldn't be worth it to get a discount. It would have been enough for us to get a free drink, or at least a small gesture as compensation, but the service simply didn't care. I'll go to Phoenix Lake instead ✌️

We came across mu Kii, one of the V-Spots, and "luckily" paid around €55 for the all-you-can-eat food. Drinks cost €11 on top, and sauces actually cost extra there, like the sweet and sour sauce in my case. Unfortunately, the waiters were extremely slow, so some of the food arrived cold. When I sent back the noodles from the first round (we were in the 4th round) because they were simply cold, the waitress came back and brought me "new" ones. They were so extremely salty that I had the feeling "put soy sauce on them, turn on the microwave, that's fine." On top of that, things arrived at our table twice or the wrong items. The meat was shoe-like, whether in the soup or marinated, it really was "stuffing puller", you chewed and chewed and it just didn't get any better. The chicken was very dry, but the sushi was okay. The drinks were full of ice, so after just a short time, they tasted diluted... which is a real shame. We would have paid around €90 for that, which, in my opinion, is absolutely not worth it.

Hello, where we arrived, you have to pay for parking up to one hour, but if you register online you can extend the parking time. The atmosphere was very nice with Asian pictures, the shop itself was very clean and modern. The food was very tasty and there was a lot of it, we had a voucher and it was a 10-course menu 8 times....L.g

Today was our first time at this branch and unfortunately also our last. The service left a lot to be desired. The food took ages to arrive; 10 minutes after being greeted we were given a tablet which didn't even work. Then we got food from other tables and ours didn't arrive because the waiters couldn't understand or read German very well. When we paid we were told we didn't have any change and so couldn't get the full change. We'll stick to the branch at Phönixsee; everything is much better there... there's a world of difference.

Unfortunately, we arrived very late, which may have been the reason why all the food was cold. The sushi tasted like nothing without sauce, the edamame were very mushy, falling apart, and there was no salt on them. On a positive note, the servers were very friendly. They prepared a table for five people, brought blankets, and replaced the Coke because the first drinks weren't carbonated. Overall, we were disappointed with the food, but the service was really friendly. It was much better in Wuppertal, which is why I came back... the last time.

Unfortunately, the Mu-Kii in Dortmund was a complete disappointment for us! The value for money here is completely out of the question: For the prices quoted, you get neither good quality nor reasonable service. The food was a disaster – either completely oversalted or completely tasteless. On top of that, the selection is much smaller than advertised online. Many items also have to be ordered separately and paid for extra, which drives the already high price even higher. Another major drawback is the waiting time: You can only order four items at a time and then have to wait a full 15 minutes before you can even order more. This drags on and makes the visit extremely stressful. Overall, the waiting times are very long and absolutely unacceptable. Particularly annoying: Many of the ordered dishes never arrived at our tables. Although we politely pointed this out to the staff several times, they still didn't arrive. For us, it was the first and last time. There are definitely better alternatives in Dortmund.

A complete failure – the Mu-Kii in Dortmund is absolutely not recommended. Completely overpriced for what is offered: unloving, sometimes inedible food, a limited selection, and poor service. Many dishes never arrived, despite repeated requests. Add to that an absurd ordering system with long wait times – a maximum of four dishes every 15 minutes. This turns a restaurant visit into a test of patience. Once and never again.

The food arrives quickly and hot. The service is friendly and prompt. The decor, and even the walls, are starting to need some renovation in some places. We like coming here, even though it's definitely not cheap. Allow €40-45 per adult.

We mentioned several times that my boyfriend has a fatal sesame allergy and that our food isn't allowed to touch sesame. Apparently, this was reported to the kitchen, but there was still sesame stuck to the bottom of our sushi. If we hadn't seen this, it would have been life-threatening for my partner. Furthermore, the service was extremely poor. Some of the food didn't even arrive; a Coke took 20-30 minutes to arrive in a restaurant that wasn't full, and any questions weren't answered at all. The food was delicious, but for that price, I expect adequate service that can at least communicate with me in one of the languages. I really can't recommend it :/

We came all the way and were really looking forward to the food. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment: the food was cold, the drinks took a long time to arrive, and the food was completely tasteless—sloppy and flavorless. For the price, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

We came from far away, and it was a complete disappointment. Every dish we ordered was lukewarm to cold. It was as if the food had come out of a microwave. -The fried noodles: Cold. It was more like a pepper noodle stir-fry. The pepper pieces were so long that you could tell the chef didn't care about chopping the vegetables. I wouldn't be surprised if the chef had included a whole pepper with the noodles. -The lamb chops were cold and overcooked. Additionally, the meat quality was subpar. The price/performance ratio was absolutely terrible. My partner and I paid €81 for such a disappointment. Never again.

I'm sorry, but unfortunately the food wasn't tasty. I've personally tried a lot of Japanese all-you-can-eats, and unfortunately, I have to rank this one way down in terms of taste. It just wasn't tasty; there's not much to say about it. Some things also tasted very stale; I wasn't the only one who felt that way.

It's nice and tasty. The all-you-can-eat menu isn't cheap, but it's not too expensive either. Still water should be cheaper, though.

The plates came dirty, when we ordered the plates again, they were brought as plates used by other customers with napkins on them, the soy sauce was sticky. The avocado and cream cheese sushi we ordered was quite small. Since the waiters were not paying attention to us, we had to go to the waiters and order.

What used to be really great has unfortunately declined. The food came late, sometimes didn't arrive at all, or was cold. The waiters are nice and can't always help it, but the place used to be better. I also like the ambiance at Phoenix Lake.

This meal costs 38 euros. The fried chicken wings and sweet potatoes are extremely greasy and moist, as if you were chewing on a mouthful of oil – completely lacking the crispiness you expect from fried food. The Spicy Rock sauce is very salty, and a thick layer of oil collects at the bottom. The whole thing is absolutely not worth the price. The maguro was not fresh at all. As soon as I picked it up, I could smell an extremely strong fishy odor. My mouth lacked any fresh, sweet taste you'd expect from sushi. After swallowing, I immediately felt nauseous – the rest ended up in the trash. The fish slices were also so thin that you could almost see the rice underneath. This was by far the worst sushi I've eaten in Germany. I will definitely never return and absolutely cannot recommend this place.

We've been here so many times and are incredibly disappointed this time. Many items were sold out, even though it wasn't crowded. For that price, five items were no longer available. It takes forever for anything to arrive. The sushi was tasteless and didn't seem as fresh. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend it.

There were three of us here. One of us already knew how to use the tablet to search for and order food and drinks, and also how to price things. We had a really fun evening and tried a lot of things. It's relatively expensive, but if you know how to do it, it's okay given the high-quality food. I would go back.
