Dear friends of the finest steaks and regional specialties. We were at the 1872 train station and loved it. As a starter we had the winter special “Two Kinds of Rabbits” and for the main course we had dry aged rump steak with cognac cream sauce. The restaurant is located in the middle of a listed train station and combines a rocky atmosphere with cozy accents. The service is attentive and friendly. We recommend a visit to Bahnhof 1872. A nice address in Nagold to linger and enjoy a steak. Try it out!

Rarely does everything go right when you visit a restaurant. It is absolutely the case here. Service very attentive, friendly and committed despite extra requests ♡ Kitchen delicious food and visually very appealing Ambience great :) And the price/performance ratio is also great. A number of alternatives to alcoholic beverages were particularly highlighted. Sometimes you want something other than water, Fanta. A good non-alcoholic wine would be the icing on the cake ;) for breastfeeding wine drinkers.

Unsere Winterweihnachtsfeier mit sieben Personen war ein voller Erfolg! Das Essen war fantastisch, jedes Gericht hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Der Service war erstklassig – der Kellner war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Ein rundum perfekter Abend in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Dafür bedankt sich herzlich das Team der Mehrwerk GmbH!

The food was delicious. However, the service there leaves a lot to be desired. Food arrived wrong, or the sauces first, or the side dish first, or the side dish arrived way too late. Then the waitress was unfriendly when we pointed out that the meat was well done. And then this price 🫠 Then we also thought it was a shame that 15 of us were seated at two different tables instead of one... we would definitely have been put at one table, even if that would have meant that two tables had to be moved together.

Unfortunately, we had less luck with the food than most other reviewers. The meat was stringy and the “Swabian roast” had a very clear taste of ripe mold. The service was very attentive. All in all an experience worth it, we probably won't make a second visit, also because of the very high prices.

We come here very often for lunch and there are always attractive offers with delicious salads from the buffet and a loyalty points card to collect. However, that evening we were only here as a couple and had a delicious meal. Sweet potato fries with garlic cream are so delicious😋. And the beef carpaccio is also very, very good. The beef fillet is also world class. The service is always top and extremely friendly. The furnishings are very stylish and you feel very comfortable. Can only be recommended.

We love being at Bahnhof 1872, whether it's lunch, a nice dinner for two or with the entire family. You are always welcome and the food is excellent. On Friday there was another special menu, after the beer menu that we had already visited, which was amazing, this time it was the rock history menu... It was just fantastic. The food was amazing again, the band Mirena played bombastically and then of course hearing the stories about how the stars tick... pure goosebumps. Gladly again

We went there to eat Burn a Brettle, where you grill your steak right at the table. Funny thing, tastes great. Price/performance ratio was right and we had a lovely evening with great service and delicious beer.

Very nice restaurant. We had a very good meal there in a relaxed atmosphere and the various beers also tasted good.

Very well-kept atmosphere, very friendly service and the food tasted very good. The menu selection is manageable, which is actually what distinguishes a good restaurant. I had a rump steak which was cooked medium rare. There is a salad bar and in the summer you can also eat outside. All in all we were very satisfied.

Everything is smoky, like in a cheap snack bar. There was terrible smell and smoky smelly staff - antisocial place. We didn't get to try the food - we paid and ran away because of the smell. Simply terrible

Nice ambience but 30€ for a tough roast and bland spaetzle then 5€ for a small mixed salad and no choice anymore, just corn and radishes and an unfriendly boss who insults his employees in front of the guests. You can save yourself that. The chef still has to learn how If you serve a steak, the cooking level has to be right at the advertised steakhouse

I'll just be honest, I have my regular steakhouse and the steak there tastes better and is more tender. You also pay less and automatically have a side dish (baked potato) and salad with the steak. The service was quick and friendly, we sat there relaxed and enjoyed the evening.

Great restaurant with an emphasis on meat (steaks and burgers). Nice to sit, outside or inside. Service very friendly, but could be a little more attentive. Clean toilet and free parking directly at the restaurant.

We were really excited about the delicious food and the great restaurant. There is only one star less for the food because we found the prices a bit high even for a steak house, but otherwise everything was perfect and you can treat yourself every now and then. Our dog was also very nicely provided with a water bowl and swarmed around. We will come back!

Das grillgemüse ist jetzt Tk Ware Lauch Karottenstreifen Paprika streifen. Furchtbar. Dafür 5.90 Das Schnitzel war 4 mm dick!!!!!!! Es ist nicht mehr wie früher vor allem schmeckt es auch nicht mehr so wie früher. Ich geh da nicht mehr hin

Very nice place with nice service. There is more of a trendy crowd here. I had salmon with vegetables and risotto. Unfortunately, the vegetables were in the pan for quite a long time. But the taste is very good. Looking forward to next time.

Tommi and his team took care of the catering at our wedding. The main course was a BBQ which everyone loved. There were, among other things, grilled vegetables, salmon and a highlight were certainly the tomahawk steaks. Since we know his restaurant well, we knew we were in good hands with him. The consultation and planning in advance with Tommi was really relaxed. I can therefore highly recommend the train station to everyone as a restaurant or for catering.

Charming atmosphere and good food, the meat can also be grilled a little longer if desired. The homemade lemonades go perfectly with the burger.

I rarely take the time to write a review but it is simply the best steak house in a 50-70 km radius. Simply great...keep it up!

There are 5 cooking levels available for the steaks. I ordered my rump steak medium and received it bleu. The steak was taken back by the service without any problem. I didn't get a new steak afterwards, but it was put on the grill again. Another attempt, this time it was rare. I also pointed this out to the service, which was answered with a pity. Conclusion: friendly and attentive service. But a restaurant that advertises its steaks like this should get the cooking levels right, if not on the first attempt, then at least on the second. For €35 for a rump steak without any side dishes, the kitchen performance was inadequate.

The worst food of all, dry meat (medium seems to be a foreign word). The service was unfriendly, bad-tempered, listless, cheeky and discriminatory! You don't know sour white wine spritzer, the price for 0.2 is a whopping 10.80 euros.

Ambiance and service is good. The food was once good! Rostbraten (medium) was cold and raw, with all four roasts ordered. In addition, the gravy (which was more of a cream sauce) was completely cold, but since the pot was hot, I assume it was warmed up in the microwave. When I complained, the food went back to the kitchen, the sauce was still cold, the meat was the same, just warmed up again, and of course it was tough after that. The first two times I was there, I ate well, hence 3 stars. Unfortunately the quality has suffered since then!

The place is so cool and has a very cool decoration, the decorations are about bull and Rock Musik. The service was very good. the workers are very nice. The toilets was very clean and good looking.

There were four of us eating, whether the Pfännle or the roast roast, simply not appropriate for the ambience and the price. The meat was just salty and tasted a lot like smoke. It's a shame for the beautiful restaurant and the nice people who work there.

My recommendation: Burn a Brettle - an experience, I chose a glass of “black knight” from the Hochdorfer brewery. A great evening, great location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ gladly again

There were four of us and we ate delicious steaks and other meat. The service was very courteous, charming and humorous. The wait for the food flew by thanks to the many memorabilia on the walls from all sorts of rock stars and other celebrities. A very nice evening, we would love to come back.

Excellent service, super attentive team! Because the little guests are also taken into account here (they offer fries without salt). But unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all. We paid just under €100 for 2 main courses, 1 side dish and 3 drinks. The fact that you pay €3 for a tiny sourcream dip is simply overpriced and in my opinion it should be included so that you can freely choose your dip. The best example is Abacco's Steakhouse in Stuttgart, here you even have 3 dips included and you can order as many side dishes as you can eat without paying extra! Our rib-eye steak was very tasty at the 1872 station.

The food wasn't bad, but not good either. But the prices are quite high. What is on the menu here as a burger with salad is a lettuce leaf on the burger (formulated misleadingly). The tiny salad from the buffet costs extra, as does every other side dish. If you're really hungry, you should go somewhere else. The burger itself was dry, the cheese melted into the bun, but had already become hard again... You can tell that people are trying to get money at every corner instead of offering a reasonable overall price. The lemonade tastes very sugary and artificial. It's easy to park there and also sit with larger groups, but otherwise it's not particularly recommended.

Rump steak or shoe sole? I ordered medium and got a thin shoe sole, well cooked and very dry. The service left his guests thirsty. It got to the point where we had to walk to the counter and order something from the visibly bored staff. I've never had a steak as bad as this. Conclusion: Too expensive, too bad and the service probably doesn't want to make any money from drinks.

Unfortunately not good anymore. Were very disappointed and won't be going back

Sehr gutes Restaurant. Erstklassiges Fleisch und sehr aufmerksamer Service.

Wir waren sonntagabends als Famile essen. Dies war leider ein absoluter Reinfall. Zum einen gab es am Salatbuffet keine flachen Teller sondern nur eine Art "Müslischüssel". Darüber lässt sich noch hinweg sehen. Desweiteren war das angerichtete Fleischgericht kalt und der Zwiebelrostbraten sehnig. Aber das ist ja jetzt mit dem neuen Küchenchef normal. Ein weiteres Problem war das es zum Fleisch keinerlei scharfe Messer dazu gab, somit konnte man das zähe Fleisch nichmal richtig schneiden. Auch die Vegetarischen Gerichte waren kein Stück besser, 25 Prozent war nämlich nicht verfügbar. Ich würde das Restaurant also nicht weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren schon öfter da. Gestern war ich leider nicht so zufrieden wie sonst. Ich hatte das Flank Steak. Irgendwie hat es für mich sehr nach „künstlichem“ Raucharoma geschmeckt. Es sah außen auch so dunkelbraun aus 🤷‍♂️ Das hat mir leider nicht so geschmeckt. Außerdem war es schon fast kalt als es angekommen ist. Die Kräuterbutter ist nicht mal richtig geschmolzen. Sehr schade für 35,50€ ohne Beilagen. Die Portionen könnten allgemein bei den Preisen auch ein wenig größer sein. Ambiente und Service top. Geschmacklich gestern leider nicht so…ich hoffe dass die normalen Steaks ein natürliches „Aroma“ haben welches nur vom Grill kommt.

Wir waren an Weihnachten Essen. Ein Stück Schweinerücken und ein Stück Rindersteak. Beide Fleischstücke waren zu lange gebarten und hatten keinen Geschmack. Der Preis 25€ war dafür total überzogen. Eines der schlechtesten Lokale in den ich bisher gegessen habe.

Wir waren an Weihnachten zum Mittagessen dort. Die Speisen waren gut und eher hochwertig. Allerdings sind die Portionsgrössen teilweise sehr bescheiden. Sowohl ein Teil unserer Hauptspeisen waren eher einer Vorspeise würdig, aber auch Beilagen zu Hauptspeisen waren sehr überschaubar. Das ganze passt nicht zum Preis. Wir kommen aus der Schweiz und sind hohe Restaurantpreise gewöhnt. Die Preise von diesem Restaurant haben in etwa Schweizer Niveau. Die Portionen sind dafür in Zürich sogar etwas grösser.

Schönes Restaurant super Essen werde wieder kommen. Absolut empfehlenswert

Wir waren gestern Abend mit 6 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern zum Essen im 1872 und es war ein tolles Erlebnis. Den Kids wurden sofort Buntstifte und etwas zum Ausmalen gebracht. Der Champagner und der Barolo hinterher waren perfekt temperiert. Alle Steaks hatten genau den gewünschten Gargrad. Auch die Pommes und die Café de Paris-Butter oder die Pfeffersoße waren super lecker. Obwohl das Lokal bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt war, lief alles reibungslos und auch Sonderwünsche wurden prompt erfüllt. Wir freuen uns schon heute auf den nächsten Besuch im 1872.

Obwohl wir 50 Leute waren wurden wir schnell bedient und mussten nie lange auf Getränkenachschub warten. Dem Team vom Bahnhof 1842 ein ganz grosses Lob und ein herzliches Dankeschön. Einfach anders! Tolles Ambiente und sehr gutes Essen. Was aufgefallen ist, alle Beilagen müssen extra bestellt und bezahlt werden, selbst Dips. Das ist aber konstruktive Kritik und muss nicht überbewertet werden.

Ambiente wirklich klasse und auch alle supper freundlich. Aber beim essen leider 1 Punkt Abzug, das Fleisch war nur noch lau warm als es bei mir war was sich leider beim Essen auswirkt.

We enjoyed our lunch today at Bahnhof 1872. As you may have guessed from the name it is at the platform of the the small train station of Nagold. The interior is fresh and stylish, if you pay attention there are plaques of different rock bands with signatures, a motor bike and a drum set. I would categorize it as a steak house with many variations of beef and pork. For vegetarians it will be a pleasant surprise that they have quite a few options with salmon for the pescatarians among us. The meat, fish and other ingredients are of a good quality. I would say the meals are good, and that there is some potential for improvement here and there.

Wir waren gestern mit insgesamt 5 Mädels im Bahnhof 1872. Wir hatten ab 19.00 Uhr Tisch 45 und waren mitten im Raum platziert, also wirklich nicht zu übersehen. Die Aufnahme des Essens sowie die 1.Runde der Getränke verlief von seitens des Service-Personals absolut vorbildlich und kundenorientiert. Bei Erhalt des Essen wurden wir gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei, was wir bejahten. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt lies die Qualität und vor allem die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals leider nach. Wir wurden quasi ignoriert und selbst bei Abräumen des Essens weder gefragt ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten noch ob wir gerne die Dessert-Karte wünschen. Traurig denn komischerweise wurden alle Tische um uns zuvorkommend bedient und mit Getränken versorgt. Gerne hätten wir nochmal ein Getränk bestellt oder uns einen Nachtisch gegönnt, aber leider wurden wir regelrecht nicht wahrgenommen. Wir hatten wirklich dass Gefühl dass das Service-Personal gerne Feierabend möchte. Alles in allem sehr schade, da man das sonst vom Bahnhof 1872 eigentlich anders kennt und der Service bisher immer keinen Grund zur Reklamation geboten hat. Bleibt nur zu hoffen dass das das Personal heute lediglich einen schlechten Tag hatte…..

Sehr freundlich und kompetent. Etwas Fleischlastig was aber ein Steakhouse normal ist. Die Bahnhofpfanne 1872 sehr lecker nur die Käsespatzen etwas zu sahnig. Mag sie eher mit mehr Käse. Restaurant aber ansonsten top. Viel Geschichte von Rock and Roll. Custombike😍 Mitten im Restaurant. Ich komme auf alle Gälle wieder.

Ein mega Cooles Restaurant,Rockig und sehr angenehmes Ambiente. Personal sehr sehr freundlich. Zum Essen kann ich nur sagen hat hier zu wenig Sterne um zu geben. Das Fleisch Hammer und alle Beilagen Hammer. Liebe Grüsse von einem Schweizer wir kommen wider. 👍👍👍
