A really cool place! The food is delicious and the service is super friendly and attentive! You can tell they love their shop. Lots of lovely details and pictures related to Día de los Muertos. The only downside: unfortunately, they don't accept card payments!

I reserved a table, but after waiting half an hour, there was still no table and no estimate of how much longer it would take. Therefore, I can't comment on the food.

It was quite delicious as always, we had reserved in advance (a must) and they only accept cash. Unfortunately, our table was right by the door and it was rather expensive.

Booked here for New Years Eve. Told us when we arrived it’s cash only and that if we want to pay by card you need to go their sister restaurant - turns out the other restaurant doesn’t take Visa or Mastercard, only “easy card”, so not helpful at all.

Amazing food, but messy service. I’d honestly rate the dishes 5.5/5. The meat quality was top-notch, and the portions were huge. Sadly, the staff seemed clueless; we were a group of 4, yet they somehow managed to order 5 dishes for us. The drink ordering process was also a mess since they didn't know their own stock, which constantly interrupted our conversation. It’s a bit pricey for a student area, but the "Coco"-like atmosphere is beautiful. I’d recommend it for the flavors, but be prepared for service hiccups. They do NOT accept credit cards (Cash Only), which is extremely inconvenient and frankly quite bad for a restaurant at this price point.

The food was delicious, albeit expensive. The ambiance was nice, but it was extremely crowded and noisy. The service seemed lost and, despite repeated reassurances, ultimately brought the wrong dishes. Several drinks I wanted to order were also unavailable. The lack of card payment options was also annoying. Nevertheless, I'm giving it 4 stars because the food was so exceptionally good and plentiful.

I ordered takeaway and received the wrong burrito. Neither the filling was correct nor was it topped with cheese (which was an extra €3). So, it's best to double-check in the restaurant. Aside from that, the food is good and fresh, but the price is absolutely unacceptable for me. €17 for that size? Seriously?

The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is great! The staff is super friendly, but a bit disorganized. For example, we received one dish too many and had to repeat our order several times. Additionally, about three of the drinks we wanted simply weren't available. One of the staff members asked the same question four times, even though one of us obviously didn't understand it because she doesn't speak German. The price is okay, a bit high, but the food was very good.

I love this cozy place, and the food is truly delicious. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The restaurant is perfectly run by Ceyda; she is very warm, attentive, and friendly. I was served by Mahyar, who is very respectful and genuinely cares about the well-being and satisfaction of his guests. His friendly service made my visit even more enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience – I will definitely be back!

The food and atmosphere were great. We had a reservation for 6-7 people and everyone was happy. Unfortunately, the open kitchen made it quite warm, so I couldn't enjoy the spicy food as much as I usually do. Overall, top-notch! 😄

The burrito was completely under-seasoned, the cheese had hardly any flavor of its own, it took a relatively long time to arrive, and it was far too expensive for the quality. Points are awarded for the ambiance.

We waited over 45 minutes for our food, which was generally okay, but simply not good enough for the price. It was also very loud and difficult to have a conversation, which I don't want to blame on the restaurant, of course, but was generally very annoying. I would personally recommend the Agua Fresca Pineapple.

I'm not sure where the good reviews come from. The number of reviews is also a bit confusing. This is a small place, quite out of the way, and the food was okay. The advertised price of €10-20 wasn't accurate either. It was definitely more like €20-30. Nachos with a little guacamole were €10.50, a frozen margarita was €13.50, and chili con carne was €17.50 – so it's not exactly cheap. Just with a drink, I'd already be over €40. The interior, however, has a very nice atmosphere.

We were specifically asked whether we wanted our food with or without coriander. I thought that was great. Everything was delicious.

The food tasted good, but in my opinion, it was overpriced. The worst part was the cheese-covered burrito. We ordered one with cheese and one without. After we couldn't find the cheese and asked the server, she used her phone's flashlight (!) to show us a tiny piece of cheese. A real rip-off for an extra €3!

Anyone who can't tell time doesn't deserve a star. Contrary to what was stated online, the store was already closed at 9:40 PM (until midnight).

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, the drink prices are completely outrageous. Beer is cheaper at Oktoberfest than here; something to think about.

The quesedilas were very spicy, which somewhat masked the other flavors, and the portions were rather small. We also found €5.90 for bottled Mexican soda to be quite expensive. The tables were very close together, but the atmosphere was pleasant overall. The service could have been more attentive. Cash only at the counter.

You can spend a wonderful evening here! The food was super, super good, and we also really enjoyed the ambiance. We ate at the elevated "floor" and it was quite an experience! You sit elevated and therefore at the same height as the "regular" tables, but much more comfortable! The service was also simply perfect; everyone was super nice. We will definitely be back!! The noise level is also absolutely fine; you can still have a great conversation.

Delicious food, absolutely amazing. Service leaves a bit to be desired as they don’t seem very experienced/slightly awkward, but still very friendly. It was pretty loud, but still acceptable. I would recommend some sound deadening material on the ceiling or something to improve this. But in general, I would definitely recommend!

Looked inviting—but unfortunately, it was cash only. What a pity!

We all specifically said no coriander, as we were told there's a bit of coriander in everything. It's true. No matter what food you eat, there's dry coriander in everything. (For whatever reason, they have to sprinkle this over your food if you specifically say you don't want it. If you don't like the spice, you don't need to eat there. Cost: €18 plus €3 topped with cheese. Drink: tamarind lemonade. Cost: just under €7!!! I asked for it to be extra sweet, without ice, but they said that wouldn't work because the glass already had ice in it. What kind of argument is that?? And it wasn't sweet either. For my bowl, they asked if it should be topped with cheese, which cost an extra €3, and they didn't warn me about it. I paid €28 for a bowl and a single drink. No tip. My friends and I will never see that restaurant again. Wow. The service and food were awful. I can't understand the good reviews here at all. Unfortunately, despite its pretty appearance and seemingly large amount of sauce, the bowl was dry and hardly edible for the money. Only the meat was tasty. Oh yes, it was spicy too, even though it wasn't advertised as spicy. was declared. I personally like it spicy, but still find it difficult when it's not declared and is noticeably spicy.

The shop looks really nice, and the food tastes really delicious. 2 points for that. But the management is absolutely intolerable. We made a reservation for 5 people for a special occasion. The reservation was taken on the website, but when we got there, there was no reservation. That was the first disappointment. So we waited outside in the cold and ordered some chips. You can imagine how long it takes for chips, but the fact that it takes half an hour just shows how extremely poorly organized the whole thing must be that it takes so long despite about 8 employees. Imagine the food like a dürüm. Bread, salad, sauce, and meat. How long do you think a reasonably conscious person would need? 2 minutes, 5 minutes, or 10 minutes? We thought the same thing, but 90 minutes proves only one thing: either all 8 people are 100% drugged or the management is doing nothing but creating chaos. Since we were there with children who were getting really impatient with hunger and the endless waiting, we asked again and again how long it would take. All we got were derogatory lies like "5 minutes," which in the end took over an hour and a half, which is way beyond any reasonableness. Then the food came. Of course, not everything at the same time, but the last person had to wait an extra 10 minutes, and when we complained, the symbol of incompetence herself came and said she was the manager and you weren't allowed to talk like that. I think it's clear to everyone that I wouldn't even hire her as a free cleaning lady. And I think it goes without saying that we definitely don't recommend this chaotic place, which also calls itself "lost in Mexico." But the name says it all: 8 people who are completely lost. Never again!

Baborrito is located near the university and has a very colorful and inviting interior. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to our table. The food—borritos and cheesecake for dessert—arrived quickly, and the service was otherwise very attentive. We'd be happy to return.

Absolutely the best tacos I've ever known. I'm very skeptical when it comes to high-quality food, and this place impressed us. Homemade tortillas and delicious mango salad dressing. I also had my first margarita, and now I'm obsessed. He has his own recipes, and they're fantastic. Great quality at a good price. We'll be back.

Quite hefty prices for a Mexican restaurant (20 Euro for a burrito with cheese on top, 6 Euro for a bottle of beer) and we had to wait for an hour to get our food. The food itself was good, although not the best in Hamburg. The interior of the restaurant is very nice though.

Cash only! They mentioned it before i sat down, which i appreciated. ATM just nearby (end of street). Super accessible with a bus stop right out front. No lunch menu, so a but pricy. Burrito and burrito bowl were large portions and super delicious. I really liked the dressing on the side salad. The menu is quite extensive. I plan to come back again to try other items. Chicken Mole was super yummy.

We ate: Chipotle Pollo Burritos and Guac con Pollo Burritos, both topped with cheese. Taquitos con Carne. The food tasted good. The service needs improvement. With the taquitos, they didn't ask which two types of meat we wanted. We were told beforehand that we wanted to eat together. Unfortunately, the taquitos arrived early due to a disagreement in the kitchen... At first, the burritos looked like they were missing the cheese for the topping. The waitress couldn't say anything about it. So we had to test them ourselves, and the burritos were topped with cheese after all. Nevertheless, one of us finished eating before the other two... Unfortunately, there was no beer on tap. Cash only! It's also worth noting that there's no fan inside. So, you were sweating quite a bit... All in all, there's still room for improvement.

Highly recommended. We had a great evening there. The food is delicious, the coffee is very good 😊, and Ceyda provided great service.
