Baborrito in Hamburg

The burritos 🌯 were excellent – ​​perhaps the best we have eaten so far! The restaurant is small, cozy and tastefully decorated. We sat at a small table that was quite close to the neighboring tables, which spoiled the atmosphere a bit. The cocktails are in the upper price segment and there was a slightly longer wait as well as being cash only.

Very great restaurant, with great, courteous service. The food was so authentic and it was delicious beyond words. Please be sure to reserve a table if you want to go there... too it's not big... Keep going at this level, you're awesome.

The decoration of the place is quite nice. I ordered tacos al pastor and they tasted good, but the flavor was more tinga than al pastor, and it seemed very strange to me that they had cream and cheese, since authentic tacos al pastor would never have cream or cheese. What I did think was that the attention was quite good.

Loved the food! Waitress told us the food would take a while, so there was no issues on the service end. Went here with 4 of my friends during Eurofurence :) Waited about 10 minutes for the nachos, and about 30 minutes for the burritos. I had the Vegetarian Bean Burrito with cheese, as seen in the photos. Highly recommend this place! It's very cheap for the quality of food offered here!

Got the Tacos Carne here. Service was nice! We were seated in a very nice atmospheric sitting area outside behind the restaurant. It was very quaint. The food was delicious. They did get a few details of our order wrong. (I got coriander even though I ordered without) but it was still an enjoyable experience. Reminder to visitors: place is cash-only, as are a lot of restaurants in Germany!

Absolutely Perfect, Food was the best Mexican food ive ever had, and i had quite alot of that! The presentation was also absolutely stunning, its an absolute must have when you're in Hamburg!! Just expect a lil bit of waiting time when the place is full, but despite that the staff is still very happy, cheerfull and hardworking even under lots of stress!!

Worth a visit!! The restaurant offers plenty of seating, either inside or outside in the courtyard. But the interior is particularly impressive, just in terms of the atmosphere: music, bright colors, murals, lots of details in the decoration and cozy lighting make the ambience particularly beautiful. The food is very tasty, authentically Mexican seasoned and super fresh. The prices for the food are very moderate, but the drinks are a little more expensive. The service was also very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant invites you to come back :)

If you eat here, you have to have time. All dishes are freshly prepared, and you can taste it. Therefore, it can sometimes take a while for the food to be served. The employees are always helpful and friendly. The ambience is really nice, whether in the outdoor area at the front, in the restaurant itself or on the terrace in the garden. However, it tastes really excellent. For me the best Mexican I've had the pleasure of visiting so far. Baborrito is really recommended for anyone who loves coziness!

I asked both people of the service, if there is any dish without fresh coriander, since I unfortunately can't handle the taste. Both answered, that there is not a single dish without green coriander and they would not make anything without. So I just had a drink while my friends eat. When I went to pay, the guy behind the bar asks me, why I didn't eat anything, so I told him that I can't handle coriander and therefore I couldn't eat anything. Then he looks at me like I'm a complete idiot and tells me, that the would OF COURSE offer ANY dish without coriander. Not a word of excuse or anything. But at least that horrible/Kafkaesque scene made me laugh laugh a little so at least some stars for the atmosphere.

The cellar and kitchen are hopelessly overwhelmed

The service is absolutely terrible. The first time I came they took 30 minutes just to ask for drinks. The second time they took 1 hour 30 minutes to bring the food. Some of the waiters are really attentive and the food is awesome, but the wait times are just unacceptable.

We had reserved in advance and would have gotten a table on the terrace, but unfortunately the rain got in the way. You can have a nice word with the waiter, but not in an intrusive way. Also gives tips for ordering what goes well with it. We had a burrito and nachos with sauce, along with a margarita. All in all, a delicious meal in a great restaurant. We will be back definitely. ☺️

It was our first time in the restaurant: we liked the atmosphere straight away; different colors and lovingly designed Mexican decorations. The food and drinks are higher priced, but everything is made with fresh ingredients and is super tasty. We had Burrito Al Pastor and Quesadilla Carne... yammi. The waitress was very friendly and finally recommended the homemade cheesecake with mango. Can't be compared with "normal" cheesecake, tasted different, but was just delicious to lick off the plate. We will be back definitely.

The overall appearance is very successful! Mexican flair through and through. We sat inside. We were warmly welcomed and served until we left the restaurant! The food was very tasty! We had a burrito and tacos. We both got full. We were also surprised about the prices. And of course we asked. If you're just in the mood for a baritone or some other Mexican delicacies, you've come to the right place. I went there again the next day because I thought it was so delicious. At around 13 to 16 euros for a meal the price is reasonable but drinks are a bit expensive but if you have the money you can try a few lemonades here that I have never had before. Definitely worth a look.

An insider tip in Hamburg. Authentic Mexican cuisine and a great, attentive host. We discovered the restaurant by chance and were thrilled by the homemade tacos and quesadilla. The salad dressing (mango) and the margaritas were also great. I actually never liked margaritas and tacos before, but I've been a fan ever since the visit. The pulled pork in the tacos was also top notch and super tender - we'll definitely be back and recommend you! Note: It is a very small restaurant and if you want to eat on site you have to be patient or make a reservation.

I had the pleasure of trying all of the tacos on the menu at this amazing Mexican restaurant and all I can say is that everything was perfect! The spices were on point and you can immediately taste the difference from the competition. The chef later revealed to us that he uses his secret recipes and you can really tell with every bite. The same applies to the cocktails: the margarita recipes are modern and really suit every taste. The interior is full of loving details. Even though the weather outside was wonderful, I just wanted to stay inside and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and the operators took extra time for us. Even my dog ​​was looked after excellently, which made the experience even better. Here, street food is served on a whole new level. Highly Recommended!

Borritos and Quesadillas --> Fantastic quality!! Every ingredient, every detail of the food, every sauce or even the quality of the meat --> it simply doesn't get any better. If you're a little more hungry you should take the borritos, as they make you feel fuller :D + Homemade quality!!! The tamarind lemonade fits perfectly and tastes perfect too. Went to Baborrito for the first time yesterday. For my wife's birthday, the reserved table was decorated with balloons and decorations. The service was very nice and accommodating. The food was great in terms of taste and value for money. There was even a little surprise for the “birthday child” when he said goodbye. We'd love to come back!
