I had the pleasure of visiting Baba Pirzola in Berlin and it was an absolute taste experience! As a starter I chose the meze with the delicious Gavurdagi salad - a perfect combination of fresh ingredients and aromatic spices. The salad was light and refreshing, just the thing to whet your appetite.For the main course I chose the Kuzu Kafes and all I can say is that it was an absolute delight! The lamb was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the sides complemented the dish brilliantly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Baba Pirzola! A wonderful place for anyone who loves Turkish cuisine! I'm already looking forward to my next visit

I think we were dining close to closing, because while the service on entry was good, by the end of it, it s seemed everyone was clocking off. The meat was ok, nothing special. The salads and bread were very good. Toilets don't match the quality of the restaurant this place aspires to be.

The restaurant is very noisy which detracts from the overall experience. The waiter didn't know the soup of the day, and although the restaurant specializes in cutlets, they varied in size and were disappointing in quality. Additionally, salt and pepper shakers were missing from the table and when requested, it took a while for them to be brought. Given the high prices, which correspond to Kudamm levels, I would have expected better quality and attentive service.

Top food. Strongly recommended. Definitely try the Künefe.

Super nice location, you just feel right at home and that's thanks to the very friendly and courteous service. As expected, the food tastes excellent. I would come here again at any time.

The much praised ambience is really worth experiencing, the service is friendly, but could be more attentive. After ordering the food, we (4) felt like we had to "call" for a waitress for each subsequent order throughout the evening - we would probably have eaten significantly more if a little more attention had been paid to the tables. The food is good, but very expensive. (The cheapest main course with a side dish starts at 26 euros.) But that's basically not a point of criticism, because you can of course find out more about the menu and prices in advance. However, it remains rather unusual that you have to choose your own side dish for each dish, with each (!) individual side dish costing an extra 4 euros. You can turn your nose up at the mini portion of rice at the latest; also and especially since many of the dishes/side dishes ordered were unfortunately only served lukewarm. The restaurant was very busy on a Saturday evening (we had reserved in advance), but we still didn't understand why the acoustics were so loud that you almost had to shout at the person sitting across the table to have a conversation. A "balon bread" declared as a starter on the menu, which was explicitly ordered as a starter, unfortunately only came with the main course (but was itself shown as a starter on the bill). When the waiter was asked about this, he replied that the bread was intended as a side dish with the meat...?! It's a shame, Baba... I really wanted something more traditional...

It was our first time eating in the restaurant with the family. It's a shame there are no children's menus. In addition, the waitress couldn't speak German, Turkish or Kurdish. Thankfully one of our children spoke English so they were able to translate for us when we ordered. That was a bit annoying, or rather, disappointing. What surprised us was the bill!!! We wanted to pay and the waitress came and showed us on the tray what we had eaten, but there was no amount. Only the total was shown below. What's that supposed to mean? We didn't get a proper bill. We also rounded everything we ordered and didn't even get to the total given. That's why we honestly didn't leave a cent tip. Tip: Take out your cell phone, just type in the total and add it up and then show what it cost. And confront it. As long as it's not embarrassing for the person, of course.

Food was very good and definitely worth the money. There was also a calm and aesthetic atmosphere that was perfect for a chic evening meal. In addition, the staff and especially Hussein who served us were very, very friendly.

Mashallah what an experience. First of all, it should be mentioned that the meat in particular was of outstanding quality, as one would expect from Turkish cuisine. It's not every day that you experience such a perfect medium rare, compliments! As if that wasn't enough, dessert was even a step up. I don't know the last time I had such an outstanding Turkish rice pudding. The ice cream really matched the combination perfectly. Lastly, the very courteous service should be mentioned. Everyone was served with a lot of sympathy and attention. Special greetings to Faba for the great time :)). If I'm in Berlin again, I'll definitely come back.

Appetizers and grills are very good, meats are delicious, and it is a must-visit place for the price and benefits.

We had truly unforgettable experience at the Baba Pirzola Restaurant. Food was delicious, we could not resist anything. But, what makes this Place special is the Team. From the very beginning we were warmly welcomed and our Waiter Oussama took best care of us. He showed us authentic Turkish hospitality and although being Tunisian, He had profound knowledge of Turkish cuisine. It was my Mother’s Birthday and He even prepared a surprise with other Team Members, singing Her happy birthday. I am very glad we chose Baba Pirzola to celebrate - it was the best choice. Looking forward to come back :)

The food was definitely very tasty. Not exceptional but at a very good level. The ambience was also very nice. What I unfortunately don't think is ok (especially since I haven't experienced anything like this in restaurants in Germany) is that food is charged for what wasn't ordered and that people are given misleading information about the size of the food. Among other things, €3 for bread with the mezze that wasn't ordered. Too bad.

Restaurant with a great ambience: in modern black with plants from the ceiling and on the walls and an open grill station. Huge selection of mezze and various grilled dishes. All very tasty. The service was also quick and very friendly. After receiving the invoice: 8 euros for an Ayran is a bit overpriced. Then from five to four stars in the overall rating, the individual ratings remained at five.

Food tasted good to medium depending on what you ordered. Questionable price structure from the waiter, a few things were charged extra even though they weren't ordered at all. Such as herb butter €4. And fries €4 Ayran 4€ 0.2 cola €4 We (7) came out slightly embarrassed where 2 people were charged for extra things. Basically you pay for a location next to KaDeWe. The waiter asked for a tip which was very unpleasant.

Price-performance ratio catastrophe. Solid in taste and overpriced. Ambience is okay but the table and cutlery were dirty

The place is beautiful and very crowded in the evening. The service is nice and fast. The food is good. Completely Turkish style. Prices are high. Even though there is a good ventilation system, the smell of smoke coming from the barbecue creates discomfort in the place. If the business finds a solution to this, it is a top spot.

Brilliant, great food and service is on point

The food was amazing, from meat from the grill to fresh mezze and hot and cold dessert! We really enjoyed it! The portions are perfect size and they were quite quick with the service of the drinks and mezze. A special thank to the receptionist Fariba who always makes sure that guest are happy! I recommend the Pistachio Kebab, with rice as a side and the hot and cold pistachio dessert!

If you want to get bigger, come here. The soup plate is half portion, Adana pattern is mediocre and there is nothing besides it. Two plump peppers and a chopped onion. Considering the amount and quality of food served, it is not worth going. Prices are a quarter for Kallavi dishes. Before the meal, there is no appetizer and bread service as we are used to in Turkish restaurants. The ambiance is nice, the waiters are friendly, but these are not enough to fill your stomach. I don't understand the concept, I guess eat less, give more and get out. It was an experience, I don't think I will go again.

Very aggressive upwelling culture. We ordered wine and asked for a glass of tab water on the side as we were very thirsty. Waitress refused our request and insisted that they serve only bottled water, at only €7.50 a bottle. She was then very insistent that our party order the big sharing platter. The meat was decent but the sides were poor. Watery iceberg salad, not dried after washing and two bowls of rice. To get to the toilets required a strange walk through the kitchen entrance.

The interior of the place is really beautiful, the food is ok, probably I had a very high expectation, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t just great. Hasir’s food is better. The staffs were ok, they weren’t rude but were also not like that friendly, it wasn’t business at all inside the restaurant was mostly empty, to say that the staffs were overwhelmed by the heavy flow, so I guess it was just that’s how they serve. If you want to go there for a business lunch together with work related partners I think it would be a good option, it’s quiet, beautiful atmosphere, staffs will leave you alone, the food is ok so you won’t be distracted by the amazing taste of food.

Absolutely disappointing value for money. For the high price I would have expected much better quality. The side dishes were charged additionally even though this was not clearly stated on the menu. Overall, completely overpriced and the food did not meet my expectations in any way. Definitely won't be coming back.

A restaurant with no air conditioning and no view, prices probably prepared for the royal family. Salad only with tomatoes and cucumbers €12. The meal includes salad, rice, nothing, just meat.

Nice, modern restaurant, unfortunately located right on a rather noisy side street! Service very friendly and accommodating! The dishes are delicious, although I personally missed the typical Turkish spices a bit, they were a bit too bland for me. I also found the individual dishes too expensive for what was on offer, as did the drinks on offer! All in all only a conditional recommendation, a reservation is advisable!

I have often eaten at Baba Pirzola with guests, The food and service is fast and very good, but the only thing I complain about is that even though you pay exorbitant prices, never less than €250, not once was anything spent, not even the demand. I come from the catering industry myself and find it unusual and sad For that I give 1 minus point
