Very expensive prices, especially for the shisha. The staff are untrained, it's way too loud, and some of the songs are old and poorly mixed. A shame.

The waiters are so bad, this is the first time I see something like this. We call them for 20 minutes to come but no one looks at them. When the cards come, everyone starts looking at them. It is a disgusting service, it made me sick.

We came here twice with a larger group. The first night we got hot tea, and 6 hookas with different flavors. We were seated outside on a chilly night. They came by and offered us lap blankets which was very nice. They only had enough tea for half our group, which was disappointing but we were understanding. The flavors were great. We got watermelon, lemon, a mixed fruit, grape and another. They brought us extra tips for our party. The second night we came, they sat 9 of us at one small table and we had to squish together. It was cold and uncomfortable, we were not offered the blankets and had to ask several times for tips, they were again out of hot beverages, but the hookas were still nice. There is a man that I assume is homeless walking around playing a guitar and shoving his hat directly in your face begging for money, which made it quite uncomfortable. As we are from outside the country and did not carry cash, he got agitated. Overall still a great location and tasty flavors.

Great place, cocktails are very saturated with alcohol and it's cool and the design is beautiful, there is no dilution as in many other establishments, the staff is pleasant, the food is small selection, but for a snack it is quite enough, it is very cozy there, but the fact that there are also hookahs and tables nearby and someone smokes spoils all the smells a little for those who do not smoke 😁

I was there with my boyfriend today, and the waiter was very rude, listless, and disrespectful. He seemed reluctant to serve us. So we only tipped him 90 cents. If you choose a profession, you should do it properly and not be so disrespectful and unmotivated. I hope the restaurant manager does something about his waiters' behavior, otherwise he'll lose a lot of customers.

A disaster in service. First, I waited 15 minutes for someone to even come. And during that time, I approached the waiter/waitress twice. Then, two drinks didn't arrive for 20 minutes. The place wasn't busy. Then we had to wait another 10-15 minutes to pay. The friendliness here doesn't match the image of the place either. No smiles, no pleases, etc. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Not recommended – great on the outside, terrible on the inside When I first saw the place, I was really impressed. Modernly furnished, well-frequented, a real eye-catcher from the outside. Unfortunately, that impression was just a facade – what I experienced inside was anything but inviting. I've been to many shisha bars, even worked in one myself, and know how stressful the business can be. Nevertheless, I was always friendly and service-oriented. Unfortunately, that can't be said here. Given the service provided, I'm surprised how this place even managed to get 4.0 stars. Ambience: It's still appropriate. Prices: Overpriced! Service: Poor to disastrous. Upon entering the place, I wasn't greeted or noticed by a single employee. Only when I approached the waitress directly was I assigned a seat, but that wasn't very friendly either. The seating assignment was unfriendly, almost irritating. Although there were at least 6-7 employees present, it felt like hardly anyone was actually working. There were only two female waitresses in charge, each of whom was responsible for taking orders. The dark-haired waitress was the only one who had to serve each guest and also take orders, while the blonde waitress stood inside most of the time, occasionally bringing out orders. I felt like she wasn't doing much. She just stood there most of the time. Service was very poorly organized. I certainly don't want to mention the staff at the counter. After I sat down, I sat there for almost 30 minutes before anyone even came to take my order. The blonde waitress stood around the whole time, without any discernible task – almost like decoration. She did occasionally bring out orders and tidy up, but her expression said a lot. She was just annoyed. After 25 minutes, the dark-haired waitress came and took my order – unfortunately, it was also brought out incorrectly. I had to get up myself and complain at the counter. I was treated unfriendly there as well, no apology, not a word – the employee preferred to talk on his cell phone while silently handing me the new order. Very professional!!! The biggest problem at this place is clearly the service. It seemed as if no one there really wanted to work. The blonde server's facial expression spoke volumes – annoyed, disinterested, almost reluctant. The other dark-haired server struggled to take all the guests' orders. While there were two servers actually working – one taking orders, the other clearing up and bringing them – that's far from enough for such a busy restaurant. Feedback to management: Where are the leaders? There should be regular team meetings where guest feedback is truly taken seriously. The team needs significantly more support, motivation, and leadership. It would be important for management to be more present and actively involved in improving service. Shisha: The shisha arrived after about 15 minutes. The taste was okay, so I can't really fault it. But again, with better service, the experience would have been much more pleasant. Conclusion: If you value atmosphere, hospitality, and a pleasant evening, you should think twice about visiting this place. It looks great from the outside – but unfortunately, it's a complete flop inside.

I was extremely dissatisfied with my visit. A Syrian waiter brought me the wrong bill and obviously couldn't do math correctly. He was also very rude, which only made the situation worse. I've never experienced such audacity in my 20 years in Germany. Fortunately, a Turkish waiter was on hand who was very friendly and tried hard to clear up the misunderstanding – a huge thank you for that. As if that weren't enough, we were also told to leave the table because other guests were supposedly coming. Honestly, that's not my problem. When you're there as a guest, you expect to be treated respectfully – not to be simply sent away. Nevertheless, I find it incomprehensible how you can employ staff who can neither do math nor treat guests with respect. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant, nor advise any of my friends to smoke shisha there. Such experiences shouldn't happen in the restaurant industry.

The shisha bar was a very pleasant place, but unfortunately we were served very badly. I was there on a Monday and we wanted to celebrate a birthday. The waitress served us, our bill was €180, she said €200, then when we wanted the bill she said I wrote €20 for drinks, what kind of rudeness is that???? The customers decide how much they get to drink, not the waitress. All I can say is, make sure you get the bill when you visit Azure!!!!! Never again, they definitely need to hire new staff.

Based on a friend's recommendation, we wanted to try Azure. Unfortunately, it wasn't that great. The waitress seemed overwhelmed, even though it wasn't busy. The shisha was quite expensive. The food and drinks were also disproportionately expensive.

I've been to Azure before and had good memories - so I wanted to convince my friends from Switzerland who were in Cologne for the first time to do the same. Unfortunately, the experience couldn't quite keep up this time. The digital menu via the QR code was no longer up to date, so we got a printed menu - but many dishes were no longer available. We opted for nachos, which were fine, as was the shisha and the service - all OK, but nothing special. What particularly disappointed us was that we were only allowed to stay for two hours even though the store wasn't full. Overall, unfortunately not the experience I had hoped for my guests.

The blonde waitress was super annoyed and ignored us and then we got a table in a corner where we couldn't see anything and we were promised a third table outside, which wasn't the case. We continued to be ignored after that.

Chic location, shisha and the drinks are good, you can treat yourself every now and then. Prices above the average for comparable locations, there is sometimes a queue in front of the door on weekend evenings, you can also make a reservation

Coming from India, the hookah is 7/10 okayish, but we liked the vibe here. A lot of the other hookah bars we found in the area were a bit shady. The drinks were nice here. The food is not too bad. Some of the servers were sweet, others are attitudinal. The crowd is nice.

We entered the restaurant, but were immediately stopped at the entrance by a waitress who refused us entry. When we asked why, she explained that my boyfriend was wearing sports pants. Should we wear a suit and tie?!!!!!! It's the first time in Germany that I've experienced something like this - that people in shisha bars are judged by their clothes. She said those were the boss's orders. Disappointed, we left the restaurant and instead went to another shisha bar (Barcod), where we were greeted and treated much friendlier.

Nice lounge where you can have a good time. There is food and interesting cocktails. However, sometimes they set the music too loud, which makes communication uncomfortable, and sometimes you can't hear the person sitting opposite.

We went to this shisha bar today (11/30/2024) around 3 p.m. and had a disappointing experience. When we walked in, the waiter said to us, "Not today, boys," in a tone that seemed very unfriendly and disrespectful. It felt like we had been turned away at a club instead of a shisha bar where you would normally expect a relaxed atmosphere. I hope that in the future the staff will be better trained to treat guests with kindness and respect. A greeting like that doesn't leave a good impression.

Been there for the first and last time. First of all I would like to mention that everything was full when me and my girlfriend arrived, which I can understand. We were told to wait half an hour until we could sit down. After 5-10 minutes the receiver came and said there are 2 girls sitting in the back, we can sit down with those who wouldn't mind.. we did that too. Half an hour after we were sitting in the corner where it was totally uncomfortable we saw people getting up and wanted to finally make ourselves comfortable, the recipient immediately came to us and said in a very disrespectful tone that we can't just sit there and complained at us while everyone noticed. We had to sit back down... then I wanted to ask the waitress where the toilet was, who didn't pay any attention to me at first and after asking the second time she said in a very arrogant tone "down the stairs" in an absolutely unfriendly and disrespectful way. There are certainly places where you are better off and feel more comfortable than the pups shop, but you have never been treated so disrespectfully anywhere else. Take your time and go a few steps further and don't waste your money unnecessarily on something like this, which is also totally overpriced. Conclusion. : The entire staff is unfriendly and unsympathetic and is worth the hype!

Actually a nice shop, the waiter with the curls was super friendly and the service was great. The location is nice, but very small inside and uncomfortable. Prices are utopian! Shisha €20, black tea €3, unfortunately very unfair. Generally a hype load which once again disappointed us.

The person at the door talks to you as if you’re there to fight, with an aggressive attitude. These people clearly have no idea what service is. We were initially told that reservations for the outdoor seating were not possible. However, when we arrived on site they said the tables were reserved, which is incomprehensible and unacceptable to me. Unfortunately I have to share a disappointing experience with the Azure shisha bar in Cologne. I wanted to make a reservation for a group of 11 men for a bachelorette party. After my attempt to contact by phone failed, I tried via Instagram. However, the owner or whoever runs the Instagram account denied us the reservation because we are 11 men. It was explained to me that too many men in the store doesn't look good because the walls are made entirely of glass and everything can be seen from the outside. If we had a group of 11 women, the reservation would probably not have been a problem. This type of discrimination is absolutely unacceptable. A hookah bar should welcome all customers equally, regardless of gender.

We visited this establishment today and the experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, a gentleman asked us to wait and assured us that our order would be taken quickly. After 20 minutes of waiting at an uncomfortable table, located on the side of an alley, we decided to change places. A lady came to tell us that the table was by reservation, but after explaining that we had been waiting for 20 minutes without having been served, she finally agreed that we stay. Taking the order was just as laborious, with an additional delay of 15 minutes before a new person came to take our order. The second waitress, a smiling blonde, contrasted sharply with the first, who was very unpleasant, without a smile or greeting. She kept running back and forth to check if we had finished our drinks which was very annoying. We ordered two drinks, a shisha, nachos and nuts. For the price paid, we hoped to be able to enjoy our table without constraints. However, we were informed that "the table is for 2 hours", which is unacceptable. The service reached its peak when the waitress, a square-headed brunette, offered my partner to get his cup back even though it wasn't even finished, then brought him a new glass after a confusion due to the surrounding noise. Although my husband explained the misunderstanding, she initially charged for the extra glass. After arguing, she finally refunded the tea while huffing and mumbling, an unacceptable attitude for someone working in customer service. To top it all off, the person who brought us the shisha slammed the shisha tube without any apology, adding to the whole unpleasant experience. In conclusion, the experience was far too unpleasant for what we were offered. I do not recommend this establishment at all.

Unfortunately, my visit to Azure in Cologne was disappointing. Although I came to have a relaxing time and eat, the atmosphere was marred by discrimination and racism. The operators, who claimed to be Israel supporters, showed inappropriate behavior towards guests. Such actions are unacceptable and greatly affected my stay.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the Azure restaurant. We were kicked out of the restaurant for wearing sweatpants, which I found to be extremely rude and discriminatory. It was neither a formal occasion nor an upscale location that would warrant such strict dress codes. The treatment of the staff was unprofessional and disrespectful. Very disappointing, especially in this day and age when one would expect more tolerance and customer service. I definitely won't eat here again. ---

Honestly, I expected more. The cocktails didn't taste like the cocktails were supposed to taste? It was way too expensive plus they also took money for the hoses. We were hardly noticed. The waiters made us wait for a really long time. The pipe simply didn't smoke and the tobacco didn't taste good either.

Concept: after 2 hours everyone has to get up no matter who you are. We were asked to pay after 1:40 minutes and to get up after 10 minutes because new guests would arrive. That's probably the concept... Plus, a shisha there costs €25, I swear on my dead mother. I don't say because I rate poorly, but really because it is. This was the WORST shisha ever. 5 people brought 4 shishas. All 4 tried ALL 4 bad. No idea why...
