Seit Jahren kommen wir zu besonderen Anlässen oder für eine Auszeit ins Avus. Das Wohlfühlambiente, die leise Hintergrundmusik und der aufmerksame Service laden zu Genuss und Entschleunigung ein. Wir freuen uns auch immer darauf, neue Weine zu entdecken und sind jedes Mal begeistert vom Essen. Das neue Signature-Menü ist nochmal eine Klasse für sich. Herausragend. Was für eine nette Idee, Kärtchen mit den einzelnen Gängen als Erinnerung mit zugeben. Danke an den Koch, der sein Handwerk lieben muss und das tolle Service-Team für einen wunderschönen Abend. Wir freuen uns, aufs nächste Mal.

„AVUS x Stefan Meier – Unter diesem Gedanken wird das neue Signature-Konzept im AVUS zu einer kulinarischen Entdeckungsreise.“ Genau dieses Versprechen wurde bei meinem Besuch voll und ganz eingelöst. Jeder Gang war überraschend, perfekt komponiert und mit viel Liebe zum Detail angerichtet. Die Kombination aus hochwertigen Produkten, kreativen Ideen und präzisem Handwerk macht das Menü zu einem echten Erlebnis. Das gemeinsame Signature-Konzept von Sternekoch Stefan Meier und dem AVUS-Team ist hervorragend gelungen. Abgerundet wurde der Abend durch einen aufmerksamen, herzlichen Service und das stilvolle Ambiente des Audi Forums Ingolstadt. Man spürt, wie viel Leidenschaft und Qualität in diesem Konzept steckt. Für mich war es weit mehr als ein Restaurantbesuch – es war tatsächlich eine kulinarische Entdeckungsreise. Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die moderne Küche auf hohem Niveau schätzen. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Alles ist sehr exklusiv in diesem Restaurant- für besondere Anlässe bestens geeignet!!! Wir waren 5 Personen und hatten einen großen runden Tisch in einem kleinen Raum und konnten auch unsere beiden kleinen Hunde mitbringen.

Tolle Atmosphäre, super nettes Personal und das Essen, angefangen von der Vorspeise, Gruß aus der Küche, Zwischenhäppchen bis hin zur Hauptspeise und Dessert ein Traum. Geschmacklich perfekt abgestimmt und somit eine Geschmacksexplosion am Gaumen. Es werden hervorragende Weine zum jeweiligen Gericht serviert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Mein Rib-eye Steak war leider an der Grenze zu zäh. (kein fine dining niveau). Rinderfilet meiner Frau war hervorragend. Vor- und Nachspeise ebenfalls sehr gut. Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Seit nunmehr mehreren Jahren begleitet uns das Avus. Jeder Besuch, egal ob die traditionellen Silvestermenüs, das Dinner for two, Surf and Turf oder à la carte, ist für uns ein Highlight und macht das Leben einfach für ein paar Stunden schöner :). Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend, achten auf Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten. Man fühlt sich durch ihre freundliche Art einfach wohl. Die Küche überrascht uns jedes Mal wieder (positiv) mit neuen Ideen und Geschmäckern. Das Restaurant referenziert in der Karte auf viele regionale Erzeuger. Und wir haben in dem einen oder anderen Sternerestaurant definitiv schon schlechter gegessen. Preis Leistung stimmt hier einfach. Heute hatten wir eine bunte Mischung aus Gerichten aus der Karte. Spargelcremesuppe, Pulpo mit Dinkelkrapfen und Wakame, Sous-Vide gegarte Lammhüfte und einen kreativen Nachspeisenteller mit Rüblikuchen, Zitronensorbet in einem Bett aus Schokokekscrumble und Spongecake. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Avus ❤️

Das Essen war einfach ein Genuss für alle Sinne. Ich hatte das 4 Gänge Menü "Fisch" und durfte ohne Probleme die Nachspeise mit der aus dem "Fleisch" Menü tauschen. Jeder Gang war herrlich abgestimmt und wundervoll angerichtet. Als Getränke habe ich mich für den Formula 1 Fizz entschieden, kann ich nur empfehlen. Der Service war angenehm, immer zur Stelle, aber nie aufdringlich! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat mich begeistert. Wer kreatives Essen liebt, ist bei Avus richtig!

Wir waren zu fünft und jeder hatte irgendwie einen Sonderwunsch. Die Reaktion von den Angestellten im Restaurant Avus, einfach nur hoch professionell! Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt und wieder mal sehr hochwertig Küche zum angemessenen Preis! Immer wieder immer gerne!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen, die Atmosphäre war sehr schön. Das Personal freundlich und höflich. Vielen Dank für das tolle Erlebnis.

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Super aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Das Essen war leider ein hit und miss. 75€ pp (ich habe versucht mein Empfinden mit dem Preis der Speisen zu verrechnen): - Der Cocktail sehr lecker - Die Präsentation der Speisen sehr schön - Die Qualität der Zutaten hoch - Die Zubereitung leider durchwachsen, deshalb auch 3 Sterne. 1. Die Portionsgrößen zu groß (ja, das gibts ;)) 2. Weniger ist manchmal mehr. Die Suppe viel zu salzig, die Creme bei den Gemüsespießen so sauer, dass die Zunge pelzig wurde. Das (rohe) Zandertartar wurde auch nach dem 10 Löffel einfach mehr im Mund, so auch das Rindertartar. 4. Der Fisch nicht gesalzen 5. Die Nachspeise viel zu süß. Insgesamt würde ich wahrscheinlich jedem empfehlen das Dinner for 2 zu nehmen, 90€+Getränke, da zahlt man dann nicht z.B. 16€ für eine Ecke Spitzkohl und damit bekommt das ganze Menü eine andere Relation. Vielleicht scheint 3* gesamt wenig, da der Service und Ambiente super waren. Am Ende gehe ich des Essens wegen zum Essen, und das war nun mal für mich leider 3*.

It was a wonderful New Year's Eve, the menu was sensational – it couldn't have been better – the staff was wonderful, the organization and service perfect, and the atmosphere relaxed. Highly recommended!

The New Year's Eve menu for 2025/26 was perfectly organized, the menu sequence very well chosen, and ultimately each course was excellently prepared and presented. The staff was always courteous and attentive. A very enjoyable evening.

In November 2025, four of us dined at Avus and each enjoyed the Dinner for Two. The individual courses of the menu were excellent, and the portion sizes were perfectly adequate. The wine pairings were also superbly matched to each course. We would gladly return.

Another very pleasant and relaxing evening at AVUS. A great advantage is that all the tables are spaced far enough apart, allowing for an undisturbed and enjoyable evening. The decor is very tasteful, the dishes are creative and delicious, and the staff is extremely attentive. A slightly quieter atmosphere would be nice, as a lot of noise travels upstairs during events on the ground floor.

We once again had the pleasure of enjoying the monthly "Dinner for Two" at the Avus Restaurant in Ingolstadt and were once again completely thrilled. This culinary experience confirms our consistently positive impressions from previous visits. Service: The service at the Avus Restaurant is remarkable. The staff were extremely courteous, attentive, and discreet. From the moment we greeted us to the moment we left, we felt well looked after. Our wishes were anticipated, and the menu flowed perfectly. This high level of service contributes significantly to the overall feel-good experience. Food & Drink: The quality of the food was, as usual, of an excellent standard. The four-course menu was not only tasteful, but also very well-balanced in its components. It demonstrates craftsmanship and creativity, with each course perfectly harmonizing with its flavors and textures. The presentation of the dishes was always appealing and in keeping with the fine dining standards of the establishment. Ambience: The overall ambiance of the Avus Restaurant is very stylish, sophisticated, and perfect for a special evening for two. The atmosphere is pleasantly calm and elegant, allowing for an intimate and enjoyable retreat. Conclusion: The Avus Restaurant consistently delivers a top-class culinary experience. We eat here every year for our wedding anniversary. This was our seventh or eighth visit. We have no complaints. The food and service are top-notch every time. We'll be back next year, too.

We opted for steaks, which were delicious and cooked to perfection. AVUS is one of my favorite restaurants in Ingolstadt!

After picking up my car, we were invited to Avus. The menu seems very well thought out, with exciting creations. Some ingredients are used and presented in a fascinating way. Anyone who enjoys creative, fine dining will be in good hands here. I still had to question the reservation, as there was only one table available at 5:30 or 8 p.m. When we got to the restaurant, only one other table was occupied. Only one other group came in during our stay. So, it was by no means as exclusively booked as had been suggested beforehand. Still, a definite recommendation 🙏

The ambience of the restaurant is simple, but still high quality. The furnishings rely on elegant restraint, which creates a pleasant atmosphere and leaves space for conversations. The service was consistently friendly and attentive without being intrusive, which made the evening pleasant overall. Unfortunately, the food couldn't quite keep up with the high standards of the ambience and service. Unfortunately, the dishes were quite bland and seemed not very seasoned, which didn't really bring out the taste of the individual components. The composition of the dishes didn't seem particularly exciting or innovative either, which is more to be expected in an upscale restaurant. For the price I would have liked greater sophistication and more intense flavors. Overall, the price-performance ratio is not good for me as the quality of the food is not in line with the cost. It's a shame, because the potential was definitely there.

We hadn't been to AVUS Essen for a while, which later turned out to be wrong. A 4-course menu as dinner for 2 for €89 was excellent. Very nice atmosphere and extremely nice staff. What more could you want? In any case, my wife and I were thrilled. p.s. we will come back :)

For my special birthday we had a round table that was somewhat separated from the rest of the restaurant. Reservation went very well, we had no complaints about the service or drinks/food. We had different menus and everything was to our satisfaction. The ambience is very nice anyway and especially in this room it is very quiet for conversations and therefore less strenuous.

The entire ambience was great. There were eight of us, the table was excellently placed, as discussed when making the reservation. The division of space makes it pleasantly quiet. The food was very good, especially the vegetarian and vegan menu. The service was very good.

Went there for dinner for two. Very attentive and polite staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Wine accompaniment with 3 wines for 4 courses is not optimal. Food was good but with minor errors/defects. For the starter, the red cabbage was without any oil/dressing. At the Dessert was the plums raw. As a plum roaster (like in Austria) they would have been a much better fit.

We were recommended several times to eat at Avus after picking up our Audi. And we weren't disappointed. Very friendly and competent service without being intrusive. The employees really enjoy what they do. The food was extremely tasty. Each course was explained in advance and was a treat for the palate. We had the fish menu and loved it. When we drive past again, we will definitely treat ourselves to this pleasure again.

We have visited the restaurant in Ingolstadt several times over the last few years and are always blown away. While our last visit surprised us positively and the quality of the food was impressive, this time our expectations were unfortunately disappointed. It seems like the cuisine is a different experience from visit to visit – sometimes excellent, sometimes disappointing. On our last visit, the starter was unimaginative and lacked the sophistication we expect in this price range. A simple combination that failed to impress either in terms of taste or appearance. The main course was a similar story: it tasted flat, as if the dish lacked depth and the courage to spice up. Unfortunately, the low point was the dessert: a chocolate ice cream that was carelessly draped on two plums, accompanied by a mousse that had obviously seen too much gelatin and therefore lost all lightness. Here we really wondered if this was the same chef who wowed us so much last time. However, we would like to highlight the service positively. The service was consistently attentive, friendly and professional. Special requests were implemented easily and despite the disappointing food, we felt well looked after as guests. In this regard, the restaurant has maintained its high quality. Overall, the restaurant leaves an ambivalent impression. Sometimes at a high level, sometimes unimaginative and without attention to detail. For a restaurant that wants to compete in this league, the quality should be reliable. We hope for consistency because the potential is there - but unfortunately this time it was a step backwards again.

Being at Avus is like taking a little break on an island.

The AVUS Restaurant really impressed us! The beef tartare and beef fillet were incredibly tasty - the meat was perfectly cooked and of the highest quality. The flavors simply harmonized fantastically. The service also deserves special mention: very friendly, attentive and courteous. You feel completely comfortable and in good hands here. If you're looking for a great meal in a pleasant atmosphere, AVUS is the right place for you. We'll definitely be back!

Great restaurant for breakfast or brunch. However, you should definitely make a reservation beforehand for brunch. The food is really delicious and leaves nothing to be desired. Parking is free if you have your ticket validated at the entrance. I would love to come back to AVUS.

Das Dinner4Two ist sehr zu empfehlen, auch wenn es über die letzten Jahre doch deutlich teurer geworden ist. Aber speziell für einen besonderen Anlass oder Geburtstag ist das Avus Restaurant hervorragend geeignet. Wir kommen immer wieder gern zum Dinner4Two. Preislich ist das Avus im oberen Segment angesiedelt, hat eine edle aber sehr teure Weinkarte. Wer a la carte essen möchte wird hier auch nicht enttäuscht. Alles in allem aufgrund des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses 4 von 5 Sternen.

We were able to enjoy excellent food at dinner for two. The service was always friendly, courteous and attentive. The ambience was also appealing and invited you to linger and relax. We will be happy to come back as there are no other restaurants in Ingolstadt that offer the complete package of excellent food, excellent service and stylish ambience.

A perfectly successful evening for us

Pleasant atmosphere, very polite staff, but unfortunately the menu selection was very small on Saturday afternoon and the “potato rösti” we ordered was a larger flatbread which was only slightly cross on the outside but still completely raw on the inside. Inedible.

what should you write….just experience it.

The food is just incredibly delicious! The service is great and friendly. The meat menu is highly recommended and the non-alcoholic drinks are a great change! We'd love to come back!

Avus not only stands for a legendary former automobile test and race track in Berlin, but is also a fixture for lovers of culinary highlights. In addition to the incredible ambience in the Audiforum in Ingolstadt, the service and of course the food are at the absolute top level! We would like to share this as feedback.

Great service, great location, delicious food. However, I have to deduct a star for the food because the selection for vegetarians is very limited. There is virtually nothing for vegans. If this were to be expanded a little further (e.g. 1 vegan menu and 2-3 more vegetarian/vegan dishes) it would be perfect ;)

Food :( not recommended. In my view food is of central importance to the experience while you are visiting a food joint, irrespective of whether you are visiting a normal restaurant or a fine dine-in venue. Unfortunately food options for dinner were limited & even from limited options, food was not close to good in taste. I being a vegetarian, had ordered “Safon risotto”, it was below average in taste. Soup was ordered, it was good in taste but limited in quantity. So overall, bread & beer could only helped me not goto to another restaurant for dinner 😅

Wanted to enjoy a cocktail before going to the cinema today. It wasn't stated on the website that the bar was being renovated. We were warmly welcomed at Avus. Unfortunately, the cocktail we ordered was the worst we've ever had. The cocktail doesn't even deserve one star. Nothing more than a watery broth... Unfortunately, even the improvement didn't bring any improvement. Conclusion - the Avus won't see us again until we go to the cinema

Very pleasant atmosphere. You could have a good conversation. It wasn't too loud. The staff was very attentive. We had dinner for two. It was excellent.

All in all very nice BUT about 4 years ago you felt like you were a special guest who was being looked after. Now you are “just” a guest.. everything is great but not “special”! Even little things like the greetings from the kitchen that are missing make a difference...

We were really looking forward to this meal as we had already heard a lot of positive things about the restaurant. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the dishes. Beautifully presented to the eye but unfortunately the taste is not good at all, sometimes without any taste and in the next course it is so spicy that you would need a glass of milk with it. For the price you would expect good food. Very unfortunate.
