Le Petit Chef - Ingolstadt in Ingolstadt

We attended the "Le Petit Chef" event at the Heidehof in Ingolstadt today. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is not appropriate, hence only two stars. The appetizer was good, but the tomato and mozzarella combination wasn't very creative. The fish soup was tasty, but the second course, consisting of a single mussel and a few thin slices of squid, was insufficient. The next course was lobster, served in its own shell with only small pieces in a bland, flavorless roux that masked the fish – a real disappointment. The next course, steak, was good. The finale was crème brûlée, which unfortunately didn't deserve the name and was truly awful. It was cold, not flambéed, the sugar was gritty, and the cream was watery and curdled. Several tables left their crème unfinished. All in all, the video projection was a nice change of pace, but if you're charging €140 for the meal alone, without drinks, it really should be excellent. People don't come for the film alone. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

We were there for a business meeting and enjoyed the excellent cuisine. We had a vegetarian curry made with chickpeas and plenty of vegetables. The curry was very well seasoned, the vegetables were perfectly cooked, and the curry sauce was very mild. Bread was served with it. For starters, we had a delicious broccoli soup, and for dessert, a tasty apple crumble with various dips. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. As soon as we finished our drinks, we were immediately asked if we wanted to order anything else. All in all, highly recommended.

Excellent food. Great show. First-class service. Highly recommended. What wasn't so great was that our plates weren't quite arranged properly and, unfortunately, there were only two of us at a table for four. The breaks were also a bit too long.

The food was unfortunately only lukewarm and not quite as good as shown in the show. The atmosphere in Ingolstadt was very nice. The staff were very friendly, but you could tell they were under stress, as one employee (or boss?) had them working in two rooms at the same time.

A very successful event with unusual and delicious food. However, whether the high price justifies a table that is "only" attractively lit by a light projector is debatable.

For the money I would have expected significantly better quality, the meat was tough and the other courses were mediocre (nothing special), drinks have to be paid for separately.

It was something new, nicely done, and the food was generally good. However, for €120 per person plus extra drinks, you can expect significantly more. I wouldn't come back or recommend it at that price.

Hi, I gave my girlfriend this meal as a Christmas present. We were both thrilled; it was a truly wonderful experience, and the food was delicious. However, I'm a vegetarian, and only the meat dishes were pre-cooked. I know it probably wasn't possible any other way, since there's only one projector at each table. It was still a bit of a shame. But all in all, we're super happy with this unique date.

It was a great experience. The meat from the main course wasn't hot anymore, but it still tasted fantastic.

The show was great, but the break between courses was rather long. Nothing much happened at the table during that time. The menu selection wasn't really to our taste. The animations only applied to the main course, and the menu itself sometimes differed from what was actually on the plate. Drinks were very expensive. All in all, though, it was still a very nice evening.

A very stylish and cozy atmosphere and good service. The tables are beautifully and decoratively set during the Christmas season.

The meal was served in four courses by very attentive staff. The multimedia show was truly impressive. The food itself was—with a few exceptions—very well prepared and visually appealing. Unfortunately, the 45-minute interval between courses was a bit too long. Furthermore, there was far too much meat in the second course, making it difficult to fully appreciate the sous vide steak. It also lacked the characteristic roasted flavors, and while the side dishes were interesting due to their unusual flavors (spicy wasabi ice cream), they weren't particularly tasty. Despite this, we still enjoyed the meal. It was a shame that the drinks were quite expensive. Otherwise, we'd give it a 4-star recommendation. It would make a nice gift, but the dishes aren't suitable for children.

The show was something new – a nice idea to animate the table with a projector. The food was good, but rather mediocre for the price. I really enjoyed the mushrooms and the flat-iron steak. Unfortunately, everything was only lukewarm. Sorbet with wasabi is really unnecessary. And instead of the rice ball in the dessert, they could have served mochi. It got very hot quite quickly, probably due to the projector. The Christmas lights flickered rather annoyingly. What really bothered me was the price of drinks: €7.10 for a 0.5L juice spritzer after paying €120 per person for the food and the show.

We had been looking forward to the evening for a long time. Unfortunately, we were somewhat disappointed. The location was beautiful. Background music or drinks would have been nice for the long wait until the show started. The aperitif was lackluster. The starter was okay. The tortelloni in the second course was almost cold. The main course (vegetarian menu) was awful. The pea and mint cake was very dry and garnished with only a few drops of sour cream. The green vegetables were a tiny portion of brown, overcooked broccoli. The waiter could only take feedback in English and presumably didn't reach the kitchen. You had to make an effort to order drinks in between. The show was very well done. After the show, the money was taken immediately and the tables were cleared, including the tablecloths. All in all, the price/performance ratio was unfortunately not right. I wouldn't give it as a gift again.

Good afternoon, We had a wonderful evening at your event. The food and the show were excellent. However, there are a few points that would have enhanced the experience for the price: We think a welcome cocktail would have been a nice touch at this price level. After the meal and the show, the tables were cleared and emptied very quickly. This created the impression that everyone should leave quickly. Some background music before the show and especially afterward would have made the atmosphere more relaxed and convivial.

Everything was well-balanced in terms of taste.

It was a fantastic experience, delicious food in a lovely atmosphere, simply amazing.

The chefs were small, the food was fine. Spain was the starter, then Italy, France was a must, of course, and Japan was the last. We enjoyed it and it rounded off the day.

There were two of us there and we were scheduled for a table of four. I would have loved it if there were also tables for couples. The animated film on the table didn't match the dishes, but it was also nice and funny. The server had forgotten my wine for the main course, so it didn't match the time and dish. Unfortunately, there was no wine or juice pairing offered by the house. Only individual 0.2l wines could be ordered. The cost had to be paid twice at different locations and times, which I'm not used to and I think it's better if it's only paid once, as is usual in good restaurants. (Perhaps just offer a drinks package.) The food arrived quite quickly, almost too quickly for me. (4 courses in 2 hours.) The room wasn't air-conditioned, so it was already very warm when all the doors were closed. But for us, it's still worth visiting other restaurants with a different menu/film.

Le Petite Chef is an incredibly lovingly and uniquely staged experience. From the moment the show begins, you're immersed in the world of the little chefs, where you can be pampered and enchanted.

We had a truly wonderful evening. Everything was perfect: the seating, the atmosphere, the service, even our table companions. It was an experience we'll treasure and remember forever.

The food combined with the story was simply amazing.

It was a wonderful evening with incredibly delicious food. The presentation was perfect, and everything was perfect. I would book it again anytime, perhaps in a different city. It's truly a fantastic experience for all family members.

The service, the quality of the food, and, of course, the entertainment were all top-notch. Unfortunately, we had less than pleasant table neighbors. Of course, the organizer can't be blamed for that. However, it did somewhat dampen our experience, and therefore I could only give it 4 stars.

A unique experience, but unfortunately only that - unique. Yes, it is something special, but ultimately just too expensive for what you get. We have been to various Michelin-starred restaurants and had much better food. The food was "good", but not exceptionally special. The film that was playing on the table was cute, but it probably doesn't cost a fortune to produce these days, so the price-performance ratio is unfortunately just not right. If the price had been cheaper, we might have done it again with our children. They would both have definitely enjoyed it. But for the money, it's not worth it to us. What a shame, really. 🤷‍♀️ For that price, the drinks should at least be included. The Hugo I ordered cost 9 euros and in the end it was just a small sip. I have NEVER had a glass of Hugo with so little in it. What I got was downright cheeky. What we will remember most, though, is definitely the "kick out" at the end of the show. Who thought of that? Film off, lights on, please pay and leave... You could hardly believe it. I also found it a bit annoying that we were asked over and over again whether we enjoyed our meal. Our mouths are full, or we are interrupted during a conversation. This doesn't have to happen. When the plates are cleared away, there is still a good opportunity (if absolutely necessary) to ask the question. For the 300 euros that it ultimately cost us for the two of us, we can get a good Michelin-starred restaurant and sit there undisturbed as a couple. I find it unacceptable that we spend this expensive and, for some, special evening with complete strangers (we were lucky) and feel compelled to have a conversation out of politeness! We felt really sorry for the couple at the next table. All in all, it was very nice, but given the price and what you get, I would unfortunately not recommend it to anyone, and I wouldn't go there again myself.

We had dinner on May 17th. I can't and won't judge whether it's worth the price. The food was lukewarm to cold. One course had dried bits stuck to the plates of everyone at the table. The service was always attentive. However, when you get a pilsner in a pint glass, you have to question the quality. The entertainment was fun and worth the experience.

We were there today, May 17, 2025. Unfortunately, we can't confirm the good reviews at all. I'm reporting on our experience here. The pesto for the first course was dried on the plate, which can also be clearly seen in another reviewer's photo. The meat, although medium-rare, was absolutely poor quality, incredibly tough, and the taste didn't meet our expectations in the slightest. The advertised truffle in the tortellini was either forgotten or skimped on beyond recognition. The dessert was in no way inferior to a frozen product. The animation is outdated; the graphics didn't exceed a 480p resolution, and some of the animated dishes were served differently or not at all. All in all, the price of €120 per person is, in our opinion, an absolute disgrace. Drinks are not included in the price. The service provided by the staff also doesn't match the fine dining that is falsely suggested here. We strongly recommend everyone to seek out another restaurant.

We've been here twice. Once as a couple for “Date Night” and once as a family (adults and children). Both times we were thrilled with the concept. The location is cozy and chic, the food is delicious (large enough portions) and the “show” is transferred perfectly to the tables. There were also great options for us veggies. We'd love to come back.

Very tasty and a great experience, I gave it to my partner for Christmas. However, the price is not entirely appropriate. The main course wasn't “special” enough for us (including the quality of the meat and side dishes) and the service wasn't at the level of a dinner like this either. The starter and dessert, however, were really tasty.

I really enjoyed the dinner, but the story of the videos could have been better explained in advance or in parallel with audio. That would have made the experience even more individual/spectacular.

It was a real experience! Worth every penny! Both the service and the food are a dream! And then the 3D animated program. We can only warmly recommend it.

It far exceeded our expectations

We were both very disappointed. For the price you simply expect a lot more. As a layman, I can easily get the steak better. The fried pea and mint cakes in the vegetarian menu were really bad, as was the tofu. The rest, well, you can eat it, you don't have to. In hindsight, I would have preferred the Asian guy around the corner. The animations were nice, but they didn't make the food tasty.

This was my second time on the cooking show. This time with my children 19/12 I didn't understand why the children's meal was served with tofu. This time the food wasn't really hot and sometimes you didn't know whether the fried food had already been prepared. So it's definitely not worth €119 anymore. You just have to say that.

the animations are really cute! Very loving and very detailed. However, the animations probably effectively account for 10-15 minutes of the evening (3 hours in total). That's very little. You pay €109 per person. without drinks. With drinks it was around €140 per person. So you're already playing in the "fine dining" league here, but that's hardly reflected in the staff. I expect absolute professionalism and an understanding of how what is being served. For example, the staff wanted to pour red wine into an empty white wine glass. What is most disappointing: Because of the projectors, only 4 people can sit at the table at a time. This wasn't mentioned at all when booking. We were 6 people. This means that if you are a larger group, you will sit separately from each other, or if you book as a group of two, you will not sit alone at the table. You will then be seated at a table for four with two other guests. This should definitely be clearly communicated when booking. There were six of us as a family and there was actually something to celebrate. But since we were separated, we couldn't enjoy our time together. I'm putting the same review online again on Google because my friend's first review of Le Petit Chef was deleted from Google and I find it sad that the company obviously doesn't want to recognize a well-founded and objective review. P.s. Actually, another star will be deducted if worse reviews are simply deleted...

Was there for dinner with friends. Unfortunately we didn't like it for the price. I expected a lot from the animation, but it was more for children. Especially in terms of the music and the sound. The food was so-so, but I think that's because the food has to be the same everywhere at Le Petit Chef and not because of the skill of the restaurant here. Okay for 30/40€, but for over 100€ I can't recommend it.

We were at Le Petit Chef at Heidehof in Gaimersheim on December 6th, 2024. The welcome was very friendly and after paying for the menus we were shown to our table. Shortly afterwards the drinks were picked up and brought to the table very quickly. The dinner show began promptly at 7:00 p.m. This was very appealing and entertaining. The four courses were quickly brought to the table after the respective entertainment, which was always an experience. Every course tasted excellent and completely convinced me personally. During the show, the waiters were also very attentive and regularly took new drink orders as needed. Big praise to the kitchen and the service staff at Heidehof!

Fried vegetable sticks were served, I would recommend the video played to children, the music was so stressful and loud that you couldn't relax. And then the whole thing costs €120 (without drinks), I can't remember the last time I got something fried outside of a fast food restaurant. The best part of the meal was the dessert, but that has no competition either. At the end there was a clap for the best walk; there was complete silence in the room.

We went to Le Petite Chef last night. Unfortunately, the really great experience was greatly diminished and ruined by the very poor service. First of all, I have to say that we found the 3D experience of Le Petite Chef very positive and really enjoyed the short recordings. A great recommendation in itself, but you have to think carefully about whether you are willing to pay the price for it. The food was a gift to my husband for his birthday on October 13th, I had it myself on October 12th. The booking was only made on October 7th. and I called the Heidehof on the same day and asked for a table for 2. This was denied because the experience was designed for a table for 4. This evening, however, at least 3 tables were only occupied by 2 people... It's a shame that our request wasn't fulfilled. Well, we had very nice table neighbors and a very nice evening with them both. During the evening I ordered a glass of red wine, during the performance and the meal only the plate is lit so you can't see the tablecloth. When I first drank the wine, many drops ran down the side and dripped onto the napkin and pants. The pants are blue and white - I don't know if I'll ever get these stains out of the pants again. The glass had a large crack in the glass and so a really large stain - at least 20 cm in diameter - ran onto the tablecloth. We only saw it at the end of the performance when the lights went back on. We complained about the glass, I hadn't really had much to drink. The guests have already started to cash in. Unfortunately, they didn't offer to take the wine off the bill, only that I could get a new glass of wine and - since the event was at the end - drink the glass at the bar. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to remove it from the bill. So I chose a new glass of wine, which I drank with little enjoyment... Meanwhile, my husband waited. The service team came extremely often to ask for additional drink requests. I ordered the glass of wine, my husband literally said I'd stick with water. The waitress apparently took this as an opportunity to bring us a bottle of water. Even before the wine arrived, a bottle of water was brought to us during the performance, which in our opinion we had not ordered and therefore did not accept. Only after paying the bill did I notice that we had also been charged for this bottle of water. (Our table neighbors had a bill of just under €47, although there was also a non-alcoholic wheat and 2 espressos). Unfortunately, the people sitting next to us paid after us. Unfortunately we didn't receive an invoice either. We had a drinks bill of 39.80 with 2 non-alcoholic Hugos as an aperitif, a glass of wine and a bottle of water. All in all, the evening cost us €280. Plus the pants, which were not discussed further. All in all, these experiences leave a bad taste in my mouth and absolutely no recommendation.

die Animationen sind wirklich zuckersüß!sehr liebevoll und sehr detailliert,, Allerdings machen die Animationen vielleicht effektiv 10-15 Minuten des Abends aus (insgesamt 3 Stunden), das ist dann doch recht wenig. Man zahlt 109€ PP ohne Getränke mit Getränken waren es dann bei uns ca 140€ pp, man spielt hier also schon in der „Fine dining“ Liga, was sich aber im Personal kaum wiederspiegelt, da erwarte ich absolute Professionalität und Ahnung wie was serviert wird oder in welchem Glas (Wäre ich in einer normalen Wirtschaft gewesen, wärs mir Wurst, aber bei so einem Preis erwarte ich mehr) Das was am meisten enttäuscht: am Tisch können wegen der Projektoren immer nur 4 Leute sitzen ( wurde bei der Buchung nirgends erwähnt, wir waren aber 6 Leute) dh wenn man eine größere Gruppe ist, sitzt man getrennt voneinander, oder wenn man zu 2 bucht, wird man nicht alleine am Tisch sitzen, sondern mit fremden Personen. Das sollte definitiv bei der Buchung klar und deutlich kommuniziert werden. wir waren als Familie zusammen da, es gab eigentlich was zu feiern, da wir aber auseinander gesetzt wurden, konnte man die gemeinsame Zeit nicht genießen.

Dinnermenü mit Show, die Filme sind nur auf das Klassik-Menü voreingestellt (keine Anpassung an das vegetarische Menü), insgesamt liebevoll inszeniert - jedoch mit sehr langen Pausen, Portionen und Geschmack können im Preis-/Leistungsberhältnis jedoch nicht mithalten. Die Bedienung und das Ambiente waren sehr angenehm!

Ambiente zur Weihnachtszeit ein Träumchen. Service sehr aufmerksam, zügig und freundlich. Let Petit Koch wirklich ein kleines Erlebnis! Unterhaltsam, kurzweilig, und zauberhaften Charme! Das Essen ist natürlich nicht zwingend jedermanns Geschmack, aber das weiss man ja vorher, da online das Menü zu finden ist bevor bestellt/reserviert wird. Portionen sind nicht gross, aber auch nicht winzig. Einen ticken wärmer hätten die Gerichte sein dürfen. Als auch die Wartezeit zwischen den Gängen hätte nur einen ticken kürzer sein können. Wir hatten eine nicht deutschsprachige Person dabei , und sie war, obwohl sie nichts verstehen konnte sehr gut unterhalten! Wir hätten uns nach dem Dessert die Ansage gewünscht, dass sich die Multimedia Köche noch verabschieden werden ( viele bewegten sich zur Toilette oder Frischluft und verpassten den Abschluss) Als auch eine ca Zeitangabe der Pausen wäre hilfreich um einschätzen zu können, ob man den Raum kurz verlassen kann oder nicht. Alles in allem kann man das mal erlebt haben ! Wir waren eine Gruppe mit 4 Generationen und wir hatten einen schönen Abend!

Tolle Idee! Zuvorkommende servicemitarbeiter. Die einzelnen Gerichte waren kreativ und die einzelnen Komponenten waren perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Wir fanden es sehr sehr gut und empfehlen sowohl die Veranstaltung als auch das Hotel weiter.

Die Show wirklich Superklasse. Das Essen spitze zusammengestellt und sehr gute Rohstoffe. Leider hat das timing bei einem Gang nicht richtig richtig hingehauen und er war eher kühl.... zusammengefasst ein super schöner Abend der viel spaß gemacht hat mehr Luft nach oben:)

Sensationell, Mega, Wow, wow, wow!!! Welch eine hammer geniale Idee. Essen, Service und Ambiente der Wahnsinn! Wir waren und sind echt geflasht. Einziger Optimierungsvorschlag ist die Musik, diese sollte unbedingt auf die Länder angepasst werden, zudem ist die Zwischen- bzw. Pausenmusik wirklich schnellstens zu ändern. Ansonsten wirklich ein Highlight! Ein Muss!

Es war eine schöne und liebe Show auf dem Tisch, gefolgt mit exklusiven Essen. Der Abend war einfach nur toll.

Es war ein außergewöhnlicher Abend. Die Animation war herausragend. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Mein Partner und ich waren von ein paar Jahren bei diesem Show-Dinner. Für uns war das eine tolle Erfahrung! Die Show war einzigartig, das Essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt, der Service war ebenso mackenlos. Wir hatten auch das Glück, nur zu zweit am Tisch zu sitzen. Ich habe Unverträglichkeiten vorab beim Küchenteam bekannt gemacht, für mich wurde ein sehr guter Ersatz angeboten, dass auch wunderbar zur Show gepasst hat. Als Geschenk zum Jahrestag eignet sich dieses Erlebnis perfekt!

Ein Erlebnis das ich nie vergessen werde!!! Die Umsetzung von Entertainment und Esser war der absolute Hammer!! Unterhaltsam und lecker !! Ich werde auf jeden Fall nochmal kommen, ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen der auf der Suche nach einem ganz besonderen Erlebnis ist. Vielen Dank an das ganze Team das hinter diesen einmaligen, wundervollen Idee steckt! Meine Kinder und ich waren mehr als begeistert !!

Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die kleinen Köche haben uns gut unterhalten. Es ist etwas besonderes.
