Great food and super nice staff!

Very good food served by friendly service staff. If there is something to improve, it is that the music can be a little more varied.

A beautiful beer garden and also a great location for indoor events.

I have been a guest at Averdunkshof for several years. There is a beer garden, which is adjoined by a large lawn with play equipment for children, rooms for parties and a rustic and cozy restaurant. The food is good, although the prices have risen, but unfortunately that is generally the case. I don't like that the otherwise friendly staff has resorted to addressing guests as "du", including the older "semesters". I know that other guests also feel disturbed by this. The owners should perhaps think about whether the general use of first names among guests is appropriate.

We celebrated our wedding in the granary at Averdunkshof and it was an absolutely successful day. The support from the team was great, the service was very friendly and accommodating and they were always available to give advice and support. We were able to try the dishes at a sample buffet and we only received positive feedback from our guests about them and the wonderful ambience. Thank you very much, the day at Averdunkshof was one of the most beautiful we could have had.

Were at a wedding there as guests. The courtyard and surroundings are very nice, including the rooms inside. However, the men's toilet rooms, which are in need of renovation, are disappointing (& only 1 toilet is not enough)

We celebrated our wedding at averdunkshof, it was beautiful, the location, the decoration, the staff, the owners, the contact was super friendly and the response was quick And the sunset was amazing. From our threshing floor you could look at the fields and enjoy the sunset 🌅😍 A very nice place 💕

We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful location than the Averdunkshof for our wedding on July 13, 2024. The planning was very relaxed, Lukas and Tim were always quickly available if we had any questions. Everything was perfect on the wedding day itself. The weather cooperated so we were able to hold the wedding ceremony on the beautiful wedding meadow. But even if it rained there would have been a covered alternative. The subsequent celebration took place in the threshing floor (the smaller of the two rooms) and was perfect for our approximately 50 guests. Looking outside you have what feels like endless green space and a beautiful view of the sunset. We also did our wedding shoot on site because the location also offers a beautiful backdrop. Another highlight was the food; we and our guests were thrilled by the delicious selection. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Averdunkshof 😊 Many thanks to the entire team for this wonderful day! ❤️

We wanted to eat in the restaurant outside this evening from 5 p.m. to 3 p.m., but we were turned away with the comment that everything was reserved and all the guests were coming soon. We then went to eat in the back area (self-service beer garden) because we really wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather We then walked past the restaurant at 6 p.m. and all the tables outside were still free and unoccupied. I then went into the restaurant and said that I felt pretty ripped off and wouldn't be coming back, a shrug of the shoulders and the statement...then that's it. Keep it up, then no one will come anymore, it's underutilized anyway. Hospitality looks different. We had two family celebrations there and ate there several times, we can also spend our money elsewhere.

It was simply MEGA. I haven't eaten sooooo well in a long time. Guys, YOU have to go there. Starter, main course and service were fantastic. We'll be back :-)

A paradise for children outside. The food was absolutely bad. The staff is committed and has to improve the misery. A wild herb salad with just normal leaf lettuce, sautéed pears and also the stalk in the meal for almost €20 is a disgrace. With the vegetarian menu with rosemary potatoes, hiding a single potato in the menu for €20 is not an appropriate price-performance ratio. Service staff try to save, friendly...say that the boss sets the instructions here. We won't eat here again, absolute disappointment!

On September 15th We (19 adults + 3 children) went to brunch at Averdunkshof for a family celebration. We spent a wonderful day there, the service was great - as was the food. The highlight was the outdoor area where the children could move around and admire the beautiful chickens and goats. Thank you again to the entire team! Of course we would love to come back!!!!

Nice location with a great playground attached. The food was tasty. All age groups feel at home here! When arriving by car, enter the parking space as the destination, otherwise Google Maps will send the wrong information!

We were invited to the wedding event there. A very nice location that is also very suitable for children. Our dogs were also welcome. The food was varied and very tasteful. We were completely satisfied and would like to come back.

We were guests at our daughter's wedding ceremony there. The atmosphere was great in the best weather. The options with meadow, open spaces, beer tent sets and parasols were perfect. The rooms with tables/chairs, the separate counter room and the separate room for the buffet were also very practical and well furnished for this party. The food was fresh, tasty, attractively presented and completely sufficient for the company. Unfortunately, the catering staff, with the exception of one experienced gentleman, were untrained, lame, not very attentive (in the afternoon we had to request coffee and milk several times before more were given) and obviously disinterested. A young couple who was "idle" there were more and more intensively occupied with themselves instead of turning to their guests. I would have liked to intervene more there, but I refrained from doing so for the sake of the party.

Were there around lunchtime. First in the beer garden, then spontaneously in the restaurant. We had to wait a bit for the food, but it was actually really good. Had burgers. I have to say it was really really good. Mega meat!! The fries were great too. When the burger hunger comes, we know where to go!

As a freelance speaker for weddings, I was lucky enough to be at the Averdunkshof. The wedding ceremony took place on the meadow. Everything was as discussed. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating! Upon request, two chairs were replaced immediately and we were able to have a wonderful wedding ceremony. I'm looking forward to being able to be with you again next year 😃 I also like it here in my private life and the playground for the children is simply brilliant. Being together comfortably with friends and keeping the kids busy. ❤️

Here is a brief explanation for the poor rating of the “Averdunkshof” restaurant: The reception was strange (around 7:40 p.m.). Half of the tables outside were occupied. There had obviously been guests at the other tables shortly before. The question of which table we could sit at was answered briefly and succinctly: “Outside is closed. Go inside.” Presumably there was no motivation to set up a table. There were four of us and we were given 3 menus. “You can share one, right?” With an estimated 2/3 of the tables unoccupied, the menus can't be too short. Here, too, I suspect a lack of motivation to get another card. The drinks came quite quickly. The bottled beer (wheat) was definitely too warm and one drink only came in a bottle without a glass. We got this ourselves. The actual ordering of the food was also complicated. “We don't have burgers anymore, they're gone.” Maybe they could have mentioned that when the menus were handed out. Especially since “burger dishes” make up a significant proportion of the dishes on offer. The dishes came in a timely manner. Unfortunately, exactly half of the ingredients were missing from one dish. However, she wasn't noticed. Again, we had to do this ourselves. The missing food was provided later, but without any expected commitment. But as is often the case, the best comes last: we went to the counter with the intention of paying and asking to pack the uneaten part of a dish to take away. The employee there pushed the groceries with a used one! Fork from a plate at another table into the outer packaging. Of course we objected to this. The reaction of the staff was extremely unprofessional: denial, denial, cheeky, inappropriate comments and a complete lack of insight. To make it clear again: We couldn't have overlooked this blatant lack of hygiene, after all we were standing right next to it. Of course we decided not to take the food with us. Ultimately, you don't want to know what it looks like behind the scenes. Corresponding indications could be poorly cleaned windows or falling parking lot barriers, etc.

We celebrated our wedding at Averdunkshof two weeks ago and had an unforgettable day here. We can highly recommend the location. The wedding meadow and the granary including the garden were exactly what we always wanted, so we could have both our church wedding and the celebration take place in one place. Since we booked the room, we have felt very well looked after by Tim and Lukas. The two of them were always open to our questions, were very easy to reach and always answered us directly. What we and our guests also really liked was the great food and the great selection of food and drinks. We had something for every taste and we not only offered classic dishes, but also paid attention to more “modern” dishes. Everything went great on the day itself and we and our guests were very happy with the location and the service staff. If you are looking for a location for a celebration, Averdunkshof is the right place for you.

A very nice playground for children!!! A nice location and lots of parking spaces. The food in the beer garden and also in the restaurant is very good. I can highly recommend the Smash Burger.

We weren't entirely happy with the food, the burger was very soggy with the ingredients, lumberjack steak was served strangely, but the meat was good. Service was very, very friendly, prices were high, the atmosphere was unkempt

Converted old farm. We were here with the Schlemmerblock. Large selection. Something for everyone.

Closed escape routes, when you asked about the locked doors you were told there was no key. I don't want to be there if something happens. That is not how it works PS: Service was very good and courteous. The food was also great, as was the location. The application refers solely to the fact that a designated escape door was locked.

The food was very good. Only with the chanterelle soup as a starter and the chanterelle sauce for the main course did we have the feeling that a little bit of flavor enhancer and powder had been used to thicken it. But you can also make a mistake. Maybe a matter of taste. Otherwise price-performance ratio is right. We will be back.

We spent a lovely afternoon there with friends and our four children. We were in the beer garden, where self-service is very important. We sat on beer benches that weren't fresh but were fine. The children played in the spacious area and we were able to have our drinks and have a long chat while the children were busy. We almost always had an eye on the children, so it was very relaxed. Since the summer holidays had already started, it wasn't very crowded. The whole complex is beautifully laid out. There is also a restaurant and the possibility of hosting weddings or family celebrations there. It gave the impression that it was being used. The atmosphere was very relaxed, so we can imagine coming back again.

We celebrated our wedding at the Averdunkshof and it was simply fantastic. The threshing floor was the perfect location and we were able to enjoy the day under cover and completely protected from the weather for the wedding ceremony. Today we were in the front part of the Averdunkshof (not a beer garden) Service didn't come for a long time, and the drinks also took a long time. The food was ok, the second round of drinks didn't come at all, but was charged for. When we wanted to pay, they just said, you have to go in there. Inside we were asked about the table, but there were no numbers on it. Other guests also complained about the long waiting time, and we politely communicated our displeasure about it straight away. But they were immediately dismissed with the words that they were there. If you can't serve 8 tables promptly with 4 waitresses, something is wrong in the organization. And they weren't open to criticism either, they left us standing while we paid and then sent the boss? before. However, she also reacted very unfriendly. Never again!!!

I was there with my family on Mother's Day evening, Sunday evening at 8:15/8:30 p.m. We spontaneously wanted to have a nightcap in the beer garden. The waitress in the beer garden told us that they were already closed. I asked at the front of the restaurant and they were already closed there too. Going to the restaurant at 9:30 p.m./10 p.m. OK, but not that early on a weekend... Beer garden looked nice, I would have liked to enjoy the sunset there with a cool drink, unfortunately that wasn't possible. A pity...

We celebrated our wedding here in the threshing floor on May 4th, 2024 and can only recommend the Averdunkshof! From the first email and viewing to the last email with the invoice, a consistently positive and professional demeanor and yet so warm and close! We felt completely comfortable, our guests enjoyed the day here and everything went smoothly. The service is on point, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is simply cozy! We will definitely come back, be it to the beer garden, to the restaurant or even for a celebration, an absolute recommendation!

We actually wanted to have fun in the beer garden with our family (14 people) because the children wanted to go to the playground. Rain thwarted our plans. We were helped quickly and easily in the restaurant. Service and food very, very good. And children had a play area inside. Gladly again.

We took a break here. Only the beer garden was open. The restaurant is only reserved for celebrations of any kind on Saturdays. The beer garden offers many seats. The service was good. The price-performance ratio was right for drinks and small things to eat (chips, bratwurst, pretzels, etc.). We will definitely come back again to test the restaurant and the dishes on the large menu.

We celebrated our son and niece's communion here last weekend. It was a big celebration (70 people). We had a wide variety of food. The food was terrific. The location was simply beautiful. The service staff was great. The children had so much fun in the large outdoor area. I can recommend this restaurant and this hall with a clear conscience. The entire staff was always very friendly and attentive to our wishes. Our guests were thrilled.

We celebrated our wedding in the Granary in April 2024 and can recommend it to everyone! Since we had already booked the room in January 2023, we of course had no contact with the organizer for a long time. But when it came to the detailed planning, the exchange was great! Everyone was very friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. The invitation to the rehearsal dinner was also great, which helped us decide on the buffet. The day of the celebration was really great! Absolute 10/10. The food was great, the atmosphere was great and everything went absolutely as planned. The service staff did a great job that day! We couldn't have made a better decision.

It's been a long time since we were guests at the Averdunkshof again on the occasion of our daughter's confirmation. We reserved a table outside the restaurant for 5 p.m., which worked without any problems. We were greeted very friendly and then escorted to the table, which was simply and cleanly set with no frills. The order was completed quickly and professionally. Our waiter always had a friendly and relaxed comment ready without seeming intrusive. The drinks were then delivered to the table quickly, completely and without any accidents. Then came two boards with fresh bread and a delicious dip. After about 20 minutes the waiter apologized, Since it would take some time to serve the food - 90 orders at the same time was probably the reason - after another 10 minutes the food was already delivered. So a waiting time of around 30 minutes, for me a completely acceptable and sensational waiting time for freshly prepared food... The quality of the food served was great, both visually a feast for the eyes and absolutely top class in terms of taste - I was more than positively surprised. The kitchen has really put in the work and many restaurants can learn a lot from that. There's not much to say about the outdoor area, a paradise for children - simple play equipment where the focus is still on your own movement. Very quiet in nature and the fresh spring green does the rest. All in all, we'll be back - promise!

Very tasty food - a bit confusing (before I found my date, I went to 3 weddings and 2 children's birthdays😂) and a bit of a long wait! The staff is friendly, funny and accommodating! I can definitely recommend it if you want to eat well and have time!!

Yesterday we ate at Averdunkshof with our friends and what can I say. It's been a long time since we've eaten so well, plus the ambience and the nice, attentive staff. I can only recommend it without hesitation. Some have commented negatively on the prices here, but I can't understand this. The price matches the high-quality products and service. Again any time.

Always happy, every year for Easter brunch 🥰 and afterwards in the beer garden, always great for the children to run around in the playground.

When the weather is nice, it's an absolute highlight because of the beautiful outdoor facilities with great play options for children, such as a cable car or a large climbing frame. We have recently had excellent meals several times. Due to the time of year, inside the cozy restaurant, which is rustically furnished. The price-performance ratio is right and the staff is very attentive.

It's strange when you're approached for your "last drink" at 9 p.m. on the weekend. Despite the good price/performance ratio and the nice atmosphere and friendly service, we will choose another restaurant next time.

As a wedding DJ, you get around and quickly get a feel for how well a location and the team behind it are set up. Averdunkshof stands out as “pleasant” here. The service is outstanding, the food is fantastic and the modern and stylish ambience creates a wonderful atmosphere. We were a closed group, but with others in a room, buffet was not for us alone. You had to wait a long time for drinks. All in all, that's how it works

The food (Christmas brunch) was terribly bad today. Almost nothing was refilled at the buffet, the spaetzle had already dried out and become hard. Simple ready-made food (schnitzel). In my opinion, the staff didn't care. This was supposed to be a special day for our families, but unfortunately it only turned into cold fries. Thank you Team Averdunkshof.

Wir haben die Hochzeit unserer Kinder hier gefeiert. Die Räumlichkeiten waren sehr schön. Auch ein Aussen-Garten-Bereich stand zur Verfügung und wurde bei warmen Wetter ausgiebig genutzt. Der Service war super. Auch draussen wurden uns immer frische Getränke gebracht. Das Essen war der Hit. Alles war sehr lecker und für alle Geschmacksrichtungen war etwas dabei, auch vegetarische Gerichte wurden angeboten und nicht nur von Vegetariern genossen. Was soll ich sagen, bis auf einen Fauxpas des DJ's war es eine Traumhochzeit. Und ich kann den AVERDUNKSHOF uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Sehr leckeres Essen und eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre. Gerade im Sommer perfekt für Familien - Biergarten für die Eltern, Spielplatz für die Kinder. Aber auch im Winter empfehlenswert und auch für Vegetarier sehr viel Auswahl!

Wir haben vor 3 Wochen unsere Hochzeit beim Averdunkshof , in der Kornkammer gefeiert . Das Essen war sehr gut und hat allen Gästen geschmeckt . Die Dekoration war hervorragend und der Raum sah echt toll aus . Das Personal war wirklich super und hat sich echt super um alles gekümmert . Es wurde sich auch an alle Absprachen gehalten. Die Auswahl an Essen und Getränken ist wirklich sehr groß. Außerdem gab es vorher ein Probeessen , was uns bei der Auswahl des Menüs sehr geholfen hat . Es war wirklich ein sehr toller Tag und der Averdunkshof hat uns sehr dabei geholfen . Vielen Dank dafür .

Gute location für feiern. Etwas außerhalb von Moers gelegen. Kinder freundlich. Kleintierhaltung ( Streichelzoo) Aufmerksames sowie freundliches Personal. Tolles Büffet

Das Essen war lecker. Das Ambiente ist etwas rustikal. Personal freundlich, teilweise unkoordiniert. Wir waren zu viert. Erst kamen zwei Salate, dann nichts und plötzlich wieder vier Salate. Bei den Getränken ähnlich. Gläser sind voll und es wird gefragt ob alles gut. Später lässt sich keiner mehr sehen, obwohl die Gläser alle leer. Alles in allem empfehlenswert.

Wir haben am 28.10. Unsere Hochzeit in der Tenne gefeiert das Team und das Ambiente waren einfach nur perfekt zudem war es super das man direkt hinter der Tenne einen weitläufigen Spielplatz für die Kinder hat die man von der Terrasse aus beobachten kann. Hier noch einmal vielen Dank an das Komplette Team des Averdunkshof für den Perfekten Abend.

Ein toller Abend mit sehr guten Essen und einen genauso guten Service. Die Vorspeise war schon etwas besonderes: Ziegenkäse mit gerösteten Wallnüssen auf Salat mit einer sehr leckeren Soße. Der Zwiebelbraten war ebenso „sehr gut“…. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder

Wir hatten heute unsere Firmenfeier im Averdunkshof. Service und Essen hat uns sehr gefallen. Besonders Luisa ist uns als sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich aufgefallen.

Wir haben vor zwei Wochen mit über 90 Gästen unsere Hochzeit hier gefeiert. Wir müssen sagen, dass wir und unsere Gäste rundum zufrieden waren. Die Location ist schön und Rustikal, die Kornkammer passte perfekt, durch das schöne Wetter konnten wir den Garten hinten nutzen, das Essen war top und das Team hat unsere Gäste und uns rundum zufrieden gestellt. Das ist auch das Feedback unserer Gäste gewesen, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Auch die Vorplanung und die gemeinsame Abstimmung lief reibungslos und wurde am Ende genauso umgesetzt. Absolut professionell, Daumen hoch und vielen Dank dafür, dass ihr viel dazu beigetragen habt, unseren großen Tag unvergesslich zu machen!

Wir hatten heute eine Familienfeier dort. Alles war top! Der Service war freundlich und schnell,das Buffet sehr,sehr lecker und das Ambiente sowohl im Restaurant als auch im Biergarten toll. Der Außenbereich ist ein Paradies für Kinder, Idylle pur. Sehr empfehlenswert vor allem für Familien!

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Averdunkshof gefeiert und hatten dort einen wundervollen Tag. Ambiente: Gefeiert haben wir in der Kornkammer. Es war alles sehr sauber und schön angerichtet. Im Außenbereich konnten wir als Gesellschaft für uns sehr angenehm sitzen und mit der bereitgestellten Beleuchtung die Feier genießen. Essen: Das Essen war köstlich und die Gäste waren sehr zufrieden. Personal: Das Personal war überaus aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir wurden oft von den Gästen angesprochen, dass es nie an Getränken mangelte ;). Die Organisation war hervorragend und gut mit uns, dem Brautpaar, abgestimmt. Ein Problem mit einem externen Dienstleister wurde sehr professionell behandelt und innerhalb kürzester Zeit durch die freundlichen Mitarbeiter des Averdunkshof behoben. Es wurde uns direkt von allen Seiten Hilfe bereitgestellt und technisches Equipment angeboten um den Abend weiterhin schön ausklingen zu lassen. Alles in Allem waren wir mehr als zufrieden und können die Location nur weiterempfehlen.

Sehr schöne Ambiente guter Service. Kann man sehr gut feiern.

Wir waren mit einer Taufgesellschaft (~30 Personen) zum a la carte. Das war vorher mit dem Gastronom abgesprochen. Ich hatte einen Burger der ziemlich gut war. Die 4 Vorspeisenplatten waren auch sehr lecker aber zu wenig für die Anzahl an Personen . Der Service war sehr gut. Die Weinkarte exquisit. Leider hatten mehrere Gäste ziemlich ledrige Steaks und Medaillons. Das wurde umgehend reklamiert. Was ich nicht gut fand: Der Koch kam rausgestiefelt und meinte an die reklamierenden Gäste, das alle in der Küche probiert hätten und die Steaks super sind. Nach Diskussion ist man dann übereingekommen für diejenigen was anderes zu bestellen, einige Gäste wollten gar nichts mehr! Da hätte ich mir eine professionellere Abwicklung im Sinne der Kunde gewünscht! (Deshalb esse ich Steaks nur von meinem Grill, da weiss ich wie ich den haben will. Bei einem Burger draußen weiss man was man bekommt! 🤣)

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit in der Kornkammer gefeiert. Die gesamte Organisation und Umsetzung war super unkompliziert und perfekt. Die Räumlichkeiten sind ein Traum und der schöne Garten, lädt zum Träumen ein. Das Essen und die Getränke waren perfekt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das wirklich sehr freundliche Team. Ich habe mich super aufgehoben gefühlt. Ich habe nichts zu bemängeln und bin dankbar so einen schönen Tag /Abend verbracht haben zu dürfen . Vielen Dank nochmal an das ganze Team.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit in der Tenne gefeiert. Ist nur weiter zu empfehlen. Vor der Feier selbst, hatte man immer einen Ansprechpartner falls man Fragen hatte oder sich den Raum nochmal anschauen wollte. Probeessen wurde auch vorab organisiert und war sehr positiv. Bei der Feier selbst war das Personal sehr freundlich und flexibel, obwohl wir früher als geplant da waren. Essen war lecker und ausreichend da und dadurch, dass es nicht mitten im Wohngebiet liegt hat man auch keine Probleme gehabt bis in die Nacht zu feiern. Wir wurden unsere Hochzeit jederzeit wieder dort feiern. Top!

Schönes Ambiente, gerade für Hochzeiten nur zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war für mich ok, allerdings für ein Buffet ausreichend mit genügend Auswahl. Alles in allem 5* für‘s Gesamtpaket.

Wir hatten für ca. 40 Personen einen Bereich im Biergarten reserviert. Leider wurden uns alte , nicht wirklich benutzbare Tische in einer Reihe hingestellt. Die Tische und Stühle sahen so aus als sie mehrere Winter nicht eingelagert wurden. Alle Tischplatten waren total verzogen. Allgemein machte der Biergarten einen sehr vernachlässigten Eindruck. Das kannte ich aus früheren Besuchen anders . Das Service Personal war höflich aber zum Teil etwas überfordert. Trotz vorheriger Absprache mit dem Chef wurde uns um 21.30 Uhr mitgeteilt daß es nun die letzte Runde Getränke gibt. Einer der Service Leute hat netterweise nochmals Rücksprache mit seinem Chef gehalten. Dieser ließ sich nicht wirklich umstimmen. Kurzerhand sind wir dann einfach in ein anderes Lokal gegangen.
