Tasty and relatively cheap food

Our server was incredibly friendly. The restaurant is also very quiet and family-friendly. The food was delicious, and the portions were enormous.

A nice rest area for truck drivers

Lot of space for trucks, 14 hours of parking cost 20 € and one get 12 € vaucher for food. I ordered Wiener snitzel art and took a salad (self service for salad) in total 20,5 € There is machine indor between restaurant and gas station where you can pay ticket for spending the night and where you get vaucher and receipt. Positive experience I can totaly recomend this place!

I wasn't in the restaurant. I was in the rather empty truck and bus parking lot with my new car. A man rudely told me I should park somewhere else. He waved off my reply, irritated, that I just wanted to quickly adjust a few settings on the new car.

Fast, tasty and high quality, quick passage even if you are driving from the highway, there is nothing wrong with it.

Perfect parking lot. Very nice and clean showers (€4), very friendly staff in the shop and restaurant. Ample parking (€20, including a €12 voucher for food). Extensive menu. Even later in the evening, almost always a parking space available. For summer: close to a nice swimming lake 👌

Close to the highway, with a very affordable gas station and McDonald's right next door. The exit is worth it for both food and fuel. I'd gladly go back.

I got my lunch there since I had to take a break anyway. The people there are super friendly ☺️ The food, okay (sausage goulash), was so piping hot that the pasta didn't stick to the fork. The sausage didn't taste like sausage anymore, but more like water 😣 It wasn't my taste either, and adding more seasoning didn't really help. 😞 But, as I said, the people were super nice.

Excellent hof. Good selection of dishes, delicious, large portions. Nice people working there. The parking lot should have separate spaces for frigo.

The food was good. Schnitzel Cordon Bleu - good meat Ratsherrenpfanne - good meat - the sauce just tasted artificial like mushrooms. All the dishes were beautifully presented and served with love and friendliness. Although very busy and the staff were very busy, there was no stress and the service was very friendly and prompt. We will go here again and would happily recommend it.

Autohof is a very quiet and peaceful place. You pay €20 (at the machine by the restaurant inside the building) and receive a voucher for €12 for a store or restaurant. The parking lot is lit, monitored, and partially fenced. A quick note: when entering the second parking lot on the left, you collect a ticket. Pay in the machine, as above, and then, upon exiting, insert the ticket with the barcode, which opens the barrier. There's also a mini gym on the left side of this parking lot. It's a nice option if you like to work out. Nothing fancy, but you can do some pull-ups. 😁 You can get water at the station near the truck pumps. There's a tap on the wall, and by holding the button, the water flows. 🙂 I recommend it!

That girl with earrings is abusing her job, she saw me as a foreigner, she pulled me out of the parking space, she said that the parking was inappropriate, but there was another truck parked next to me and she didn't say anything to him, I used to come here often, from now on I won't come anymore and I advise other colleagues not to step foot here anymore

We took a break here. Well, since we're already here, we're probably going to have something to eat. That one in the photo is supposed to be a ⚠️ ⚠️ CURRYWURST. I then asked if they were serious. The answer almost blew me away. It's a cooked sausage that's briefly fried. And I think the 12.20 is a bit cheeky for that. The croquettes are just soggy. But I think they've only been through the deep fryer for a short time.

Okay for refueling. Didn't use the restaurant. Shop like the others.

Fuel is reasonably priced, parking is a bit small but quiet. McDonald's is nearby. Botanical gardens are nearby. A grocery store is cheaper than in France, a restaurant with delicious food and a large dining room, large, clean showers for 4 euros, clean toilets. If they're not available, report them and you'll be fine.

As a Swiss, this was my first time here. I'd be happy to come back because the food and atmosphere are so good.

The portions are huge, but the food is not very digestible

Large parking lot, very clean showers. Shower costs 4 euros. You pay for parking and they give you a ticket with which you can buy food. Water tap is at the gas station. Toilets with charge. Shops 40-50 min walk.

We just charged our Tesla here, had a coffee, and used the restroom. We thought it was nice that the restroom fee was credited to the coffee purchase. The truck stop was clean and tidy.

Overall, it's not bad, but parking is a bit tight. The restrooms and showers are clean, but the food in the photo below is a creation called pizza 🍕, flavored with "nothing"—no spices, salt, pepper, or anything. The best part is the raw broccoli.

The cleanest parking lot in Germany, good food, plus you have a nice swimming pool and even a botanical garden nearby, the staff is surprisingly friendly, so why not take a ZUUUPER place😉👍👏👏👏

You can rely on this truck stop. Always clean, never crowded, and always good service. Even in the middle of the night.

Washing machine: the drying chamber does not work. Shower 4 euros, the voucher for a refund of 1 euro is not valid. 4 shower cabins, clean. The mixer is like at home, you do not need to press the button every time. The restaurant - respect.

Was just there to charge the battery and bought something to drink

I wouldn't recommend it. I waited 10 minutes for service in the restaurant. The staff was there, but they didn't seem interested in me.

I didn't eat there, but the staff were very friendly and remained calm even when it was very busy.

The lady at the checkout today was completely overwhelmed. She wanted to charge me almost €70, even though I only filled up for €25. Then I charged someone the wrong amount... 🥵🥵

It doesn't even deserve half a star in my opinion. We just wanted to grab a quick bite to eat at McDonald's with our grandchild and then get into the RV and eat. We were very rudely told to move on. They said it was just a truck parking lot. That's never happened to us before. Oh, and we also filled up there.

I parked at the front of the gas station at 5 p.m., €15/€10! The staff was very friendly, and the food was (in my opinion) tasty and plentiful, although perhaps not exactly cheap (but that's a matter of opinion). The showers were very clean, as were the restrooms. Conclusion: This wasn't my last time there 👍

Highly recommended. I always enjoy stopping here when I drive home from Switzerland. The staff is particularly friendly. I'll be back next time!

Good truck stop. You can eat well, fill up with gas, and charge your car. There are plenty of gas pumps and charging stations. There's always something going on here. Lots of people, lots of cars.

Delicious food at an affordable price Friendly service

In my opinion, this is the best autohof in Germany. The food is very tasty, which surprised me, because autohofs usually offer low-quality schnitzel and spaghetti. The menu here is quite extensive, with dishes reminiscent of a good restaurant, not a bar at a station. I paid 30 euros for two days, and this time I received vouchers for a total of 20 euros, which allowed me to eat one of two lunches with a small surcharge. I parked despite the lack of available designated parking spaces. The very nice gentleman in charge noticed my search and showed me a spot along the station entrance. The service was friendly and welcoming, the restrooms were clean, there are five shower stalls, and they were constantly checked by the cleaning staff. There are washing machines at the station. The supermarket in town is about a 40-minute walk away, and there's also a lake nearby (great for a hot weekend). The second parking lot, the one by the lake, looks a bit unappealing. It's all concrete and crowded, and by Saturday around noon, it was already full, making it impossible to even turn around. Either way - A very nice place that I mark on the map and will probably come back.

The food and service were good. The restrooms were clean. But the grassy areas in the large parking lot were very unkempt. We pay a fairly high parking fee, so at least they could be maintained.

Saving almost €10 on fuel is worth it at the motorway gas station across the street. The only problem was that there were entrances from two sides, so I had to fill up from both sides.

No matter when you arrive, you can take a shower. Always clean, very friendly service.

The Schwarzwald Stuben at the Achern truck stop is a clean restaurant with an outdoor area. Several dining areas and a children's corner. A good selection of dishes, a fresh salad bar, and friendly service. The restrooms are also very clean. The women's restrooms are wider than usual at motorway service stations.

The most important thing is the lake nearby. Free entrance

There is a beach not far away. A shop is far away. There is a washing machine. Well, as everywhere in Germany everything is paid...

Always cheap refueling next to the motorway

At lunchtime, service was a bit strained—perhaps an additional server would have been helpful during peak hours. The food was good, and the atmosphere was functional and typical of a rest stop.

Used to be recommended, but apparently it's under new ownership. It used to be German. A shame. The cheap sausage (with lumps of fat) and the soggy fries cost €13. Of course, it's a different story if you pick it up, but it wasn't a 10-minute drive, which doesn't explain the soft fries. They were simply undercooked and some of them tasted like undercooked potatoes.

Good, inexpensive Shell station. A bit confusing to find the right pumps.

The food looked great! I ate tomato soup first 10/10. Very tasty soup. The second course was gyros with fries. The fries were awful, I didn't even eat half of them, just salt 😢 as if they had been marinated in salt overnight 🙈 Not enough tzatziki sauce and normal vegetables. Chopped fermented cabbage reigned supreme. I barely ate any of it... The parking lot was great. But I also had a problem because I paid for parking at McDonald's first, 25e for 24h. But I saw that there was a parking space at the station. I drove out and parked there. It turned out that I needed a different payment and here it's 15e for the day 😅 So I paid double. I recommend driving through the gas station first. It's closer and cheaper.

The only downside is that the gas station is across the road. There is also a lake next to the parking lot with a small beach.

This is the fifth time in three years that I've tried to fill up with natural gas here without success. They can't even put a sign on the pump saying it's not working. Pretty frustrating...

Very nice staff, clean and breakfast was good too. The only drawback was the monitored truck parking lot, almost exclusively refrigerated vehicles, no matter which row they were in. It should be arranged differently because there was not much sleeping there with noise coming from left and right.

Weekend 30 euros, 20e in the restaurant. Possibility to pay by card at the counter (Visa), I don't know about other cards. The food is ok. There is a place to walk near the hof.

I simply don't understand the old waiter, how he can have such a bad attitude, you can't call him a fraud! I ate chicken on Saturday and he said it comes with free-range salad! I ate the same thing on Sunday and already charged an extra €6 for the salad! I don't recommend it to anyone, they just scam you!

Dog-friendly truck stop with very good service and good food at fair prices. Unfortunately, things like this are far too rare on German motorways. There are also some fast charging stations for electric cars

On the way towards Frankfurt it is a MUST for us to get off the A5 and take a break here. Nice staff, good coffee and sometimes a piece of cake. Highly recommended.

I have to wait forever at the counter and am treated like air. I'm going again. Something stupid like that... I've been waiting for 12 minutes for people to look at me and it doesn't happen at all when I'm first at the counter... And there's a snake behind me... I'm definitely not coming back.

And one star is too many. I arrived in the evening of 7.04, came to pay, and for some reason I had a receipt from 04.04. All my requests to look at the cameras were answered...n!!! Some staff have no place at all behind the cash register; they begin to behave like masters of the universe!!!

So it's too expensive, besides the expensive parking, and the restaurant is also very expensive, luckily there's a McDonald's nearby, so you have to go if you're not hungry.

Nice and clean. Nice staff. Also there is a little playgarden for children inside as well as outside. Child seat was provided as well.

The three of us had a very good meal. The food was freshly prepared and plentiful. The coffee and espresso were also good. We'd love to go back!
