Sorry, wanted to eat here today. Sign outside lights on, even says open until 2 p.m. then closed! What a shame! The completely dry tree at the entrance and the weathered garden furniture are also not inviting. When you consider that raw fish is used here, that's not a good business card!

Super nice and attentive service, the two girls were really welcoming! As a starter we each had miso soup (one of the tastiest we have ever tasted) and truffle salt edamame. The sushi that followed was not only delicious but also creative - not like you get in every other store. Priced completely okay for what you get

Delicious and happy again, even if it takes a while. That's why it's lovingly prepared.

Unfortunately it is far too cold in the restaurant so there are already blankets at the tables so you can put them over your back/legs. We didn't eat sushi but ordered something warm. We waited a long time for our ginger tea (a few slices of ginger in a cup). I waited 80 minutes for my main course. Service is bad. I won't visit this restaurant again.

I was there at lunchtime and was hungry. Otherwise I would have been better off. Vegetable curry with gyosa: There were about 7 small frozen vegetable slices floating in the starch-bound, bland (ready-made?) sauce. The three gyosa were half dried. Worst dining experience in a long time. I told the young man behind the counter. I hope he passes it on... Incidentally, there were tons of salmon fillets lying unrefrigerated in the back counter. Never again!

A Disappointing Evening at Sakura, Bad Vilbel. What started as a promising family dinner last Friday turned into a frustrating experience that left us questioning whether we'd ever return. My wife, two children, and I arrived at 18:30, eager to enjoy a meal together. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other table occupied, which initially seemed promising for prompt service. However, our expectations were quickly shattered as we endured an inexplicable 1.5-hour wait for our food. During this time, we watched in disbelief as: - New arrivals were served before us - Multiple takeaway orders were prepared and dispatched - Other diners began expressing their dissatisfaction with the long wait times The management's priorities seemed entirely misaligned. If their focus is on takeaway orders, they should reconsider opening their doors for dine-in customers. It's unacceptable to treat patrons who have chosen to spend their evening at the restaurant with such disregard. While the food, when it finally arrived, was admittedly good, it couldn't compensate for the poor service and mismanagement of the dining room. The experience left us feeling undervalued and frustrated. It's a shame that a restaurant with potential for great food fails so dramatically in customer service. Unless significant changes are made to their operations and prioritization of dine-in customers, it's unlikely we'll return. A good meal should be about more than just the food – it's about the entire experience, and in this case, the experience fell far short of expectations.

I have ordered take out sushi and udon and miso-soup yesterday for lunch. It's very delicious. And I saw that the restaurant of decorations was very nice too. I hope I'd like to eat in next time😋

Ambience very nice, small but nice. It took a long time for our order to be taken. Both were very friendly. Food was okay, we were missing that certain something. Food was rather lukewarm The drink was delicious and was well explained to us

Really good food. But catastrophic delivery conditions. Minimum order value 60 euros. Delivery time is stated as 25-40 minutes. Ordered for 100 euros. After 90 minutes call asking where the food was. On the phone there is a person who doesn't speak a single word of German and therefore cannot give any information. Then you are thrown off the line and as a result it is permanently busy. This has happened three times now. Sorry…unfortunately never again.

Very nice sushi restaurant in Bad Vilbel. There is a direct connection to the train station and you can easily find a parking space nearby. The sushi itself is beautifully prepared and tastes great too. Clear recommendation.

Absolutely delicious food and excellent service! A delight in Bad Vilbel. The tempura veggie was out of this world with wasabi, and the udon tofu was just as good. Staff were excellent to say I cannot speak German. Highly recommend

Ordered from the evening menu. Food rather blandly seasoned. Sushi was good, as was the seaweed salad. Even though only 2 tables were occupied, we waited over 20 minutes for the drinks to be taken.

So lovely people and great food! We initially had technical problems with our order and so called the restaurant, where an incredibly nice gentleman immediately helped us. On the next attempt it worked and the food came in a reasonable time for Friday evening (thanks also to the lovely driver) and it was really excellent! Everything was lovingly (and sustainably) packaged, beautifully presented and, above all, super fresh and tasty! We will definitely order from Sakura again or even prefer to eat there. ☺️

We went to Sakura for dinner yesterday and enjoyed great, authentic food. The service was very friendly and everything was to our complete satisfaction. The eggplant, edamame, avocado and gyoza starters were delicious. Our main courses were also a poem. We will definitely come back.

Food was very good but service was subpar during my visit. My partner's main course was still not there 20 minutes after I received my main course. When I asked, I was told that the main course had been forgotten. It then took another 15 minutes until the food was finally there. As I said, the food was very good but the service needs to change.

We have been to this restaurant several times and really enjoy going here. Very tasty and fresh high quality sushi. The service is very good.

Service and ambience very good. However, I was shocked by the food. Where is this authentically Japanese? I lived in Japan and saw food on the menu that I had never seen before in Japan. My curry rice had fried onions on it? That doesn't work. Portion too small for a slim woman. I will never eat there again. I'll stick with Sakura Sushi at MyZeil.

I received two deliveries from Lieferando in the summer of 2022. I had high expectations since this is a Japanese restaurant with an elegant look from the exterior, but both times the rice was al dente and remained in my mouth. It was disappointing that the rice was white and uncooked. The first time, all the sushi was half-cooked rice. The second time I ordered the California roll, the rice was cooked properly and it was delicious, but the nigiri was made with half-cooked rice. The price was quite reasonable, so I trusted them, but I learned that I shouldn't be too safe even with Japanese people. At other Asian restaurants, the food is overcooked and often ends up in the shape of dumplings, but at a Japanese restaurant, I was surprised that the food was half-cooked. The sauces and desserts were delicious, but I felt that the quality control was not thorough and that the other ingredients lacked trust. It's not like you're eating it directly at a restaurant, and it's from 2022, so things may have improved now.

Had good experience in Sakura, and the food was delightful. The flavors were authentic, and each dish showcased the skillful preparation and attention to detail. The sushi was fresh, the ramen had a rich, savory broth, Yakiudon dishes were tasty and fresh.The dessert Matcha Tiramisu was unique. The ambiance added to the overall experience, making it a satisfying culinary journey. Highly recommended!

I ordered online (that's why no stars for Ambiente). And later asked by phone because something had been forgotten. So that was quite adventurous, because of the language barrier xD but the food was top notch!! And what was ordered was delivered later (although that took 1 hour, hence only 4 stars for service)

Ordered sushi for pickup, employees are very nice but have slight communication difficulties. Sushi delicious, quality fluctuations in individual parts but ok depending on the fish part. Gyoza very tasty. Price performance is right, the discount for self-collection is also fair. Not the first and not the last time ordered.

Leider war meine Erfahrung im Sushirestaurant enttäuschend. Die Sushi-Rollen wirkten lieblos zubereitet und hatten einen merkwürdigen Geschmack. Selbst die frittierten Sushi teile waren kalt und wurden nicht frisch zubereitet. Insgesamt keine empfehlenswerte Option für Liebhaber von qualitativ hochwertigem Sushi.

Gemütliches, kleines Restaurant mit japanischen Köchen. Super freundliches Personal. Leider musste ich erfahren, dass es ab jetzt kein Ramen mehr gibt, dafür aber einen Ramen Laden im MyZeil. Mittagsmenü lohnt sich inkl. Misosuppe. Ich komme gerne :)

Echt leckeres und gutes Sushi zu einem guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Lieferungen kamen auch immer flott und waren immer vollständig. Für den 5. Stern müsste die Auswahl ein klein wenig erweitert werden! Wird definitiv weiterhin unsere Sushi-Quelle Nr 1 bleiben. Edit 11.1.24: den 5. Stern gebe ich mit Freuden sehr gern!!! Bitte weiter so!!!!!

Wir, eine 5 köpfige Familie, waren um Weihnachten im Restaurant. Die Bewertungen auf Google haben uns auf den ersten Blick überzeugt. Die Qualität und der Geschmack sind in Ordnung, nicht überragend und definitiv nicht den Preis wert. Es war relativ lieblos zubereitet. Z.b. war das Sashimi nur auf Salatblättern geworfen worden, anstatt es schön anzurichten. Bei Sushi-Queen war wenigstens noch Reis dabei, hier Fehlanzeige. Einzig das Kindergericht (für über 10 Euro) war optisch OK. Wir haben ewig gewartet und es wurde noch etwas vergessen. Interessanterweise kam das vergessene Essen dann innerhalb von 2 Minuten. Zuvor mussten wir über 30 Min. Warten. Ich vermisse den Sushi Queen davor und werde hier nicht mehr hingehen. Es gibt zum Glück in Bad Vilbel genügend bessere Alternativen. Die Google Bewertungen sind meiner Meinung nach gekauft! Schaut euch mal genau die komischen Formulierungen der Bewertungen an...

Ein kleiner Eckladen an einer viel befahrenen Straße in Bad Vilbel. Das essen ist wirklich super doch leider ist der Service und das Ambiente nicht wirklich einladend. Das Essen dauert zumindest wenn man vor Ort bestellt immer sehr sehr lange, bestellt mal allerdings telefonisch zum abholen ist das Essen in 10-15 Minuten fertig. Man bekommt das Gefühl als wäre es wichtiger die ausserhausukunden zu bedienen. Leider nur 3 Sterne aber für die die Zeit haben eine Empfehlung.

About a month ago me and my colleague had dinner here. We often think back on how good of an experience it was, so I thought it was only fair to write a review for this lovely establishment. The service was excellent, the sushi was freshly made and tasted amazing. In other words, I highly recommend Sakura. You won't be disappointed.

Haben hier zu Mittag gegessen. Meine Frau hatte California Rolls und Wantan, ich liebe die Udon und Ramen Suppen. Das Essen ist ausgesprochen lecker, fast wie in Tokio. Wie die Gerichte sind Koch und Bedienung auch authentisch japanisch. Speziell die junge Frau, die uns bediente, ist sehr freundlich, immer gut gelaunt und zuvorkommen. Hatte auch schon mehrmals ganz tolles Sushi hier. Dieses Restaurant kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Nachtrag: Wir waren kürzlich auch vor Ort zum Essen! Es war wie erwartet sehr lecker! Zusätzlich tolles Ambiente und super Service, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend!Wir sind ganz und gar begeistert und werden bald wieder kommen!! :-) Wow, das war wie ein Kurztrip nach Japan! <3 Ich habe Essen für zu Hause bestellt und bin begeistert! Sehr gute Qualität, super lecker und der Lieferant war auch noch sehr freundlich!! Hier werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder bestellen und auch sobald wie möglich vor Ort im Restaurant essen gehen! ごちそうさまでした

Das war original japanisches Essen. Die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen.

Ich habe jetzt mehrere tage hier bestellt und vor Ort gekauft und muss wirklich sagen ich habe noch nie so etwas leckeres wie hier gegessen was japanische Gerichte angeht. Ich werde nur noch japanisch hier essen was auch wirklich von japanische Betreibern betrieben wird. Absolute Empfehlung

Für mich das beste Sushi in Bad Vilbel! Auch wenn man bestellt, wird es wunderschön in einer Schachtel zubereitet, dazu ein immer sehr freundlicher Auslieferer.

Absolut empfehlendswert! Es schmeckt fantastisch, ist authentisch, die Höflichkeit bestens. Soweit ich die Qualität beurteilen kann, ist auch die deutlich besser als bei der nahe gelegenen Konkurrenz. Wir waren bereits mehrfach dort.
