Schön um im Sommer draußen zu essen

Heute 18:00 Uhr hier gewesen. Nur ein Kellner ( freundlich ), deshalb auf alles warten müssen, haben das Lokal unglücklich verlassen. Warum spart der Chef an Personal? Angeblich läuft es ganz gut! Wir kommen nicht wieder! Schade!

Sehr schön im Grünen . Tolle Mischung aus Europäischen und Orientalischen Speisen. Service ebenfalls hervorragend und sehr zuvorkommend. Nur zu empfehlen!!!

Danke für diesen wundervollen (Hochzeits-)Tag. Wir hatten den Wintergarten ganz für uns, es wurde KEINE Miete erhoben. (Im Vorfeld reserviert) Da das Wetter super war, wurden für uns auch draußen Stehtische aufgebaut. Wir haben eine etwas verkleinerte Karte ausgesucht und unseren Gästen themenspezifische Karten gestaltet. Es gab verschiedene Vorspeisenplatten und Mittagessen. Nachmittags wurde ein unfassbar leckeres Kuchenbuffet angeboten, bei dem wir unsere Hochzeitstorte zusätzlich mitbringen durften. 41 Gäste passen sitzend in den Wintergarten rein, wenn die Tische so aufgebaut sind, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen. Ansonsten vermutlich mehr. Die Deko und Speise-Getränke und Nachspeisekarten durften wir selber am Abend vor der Hochzeit (Freitag) gestalten. Es war alles super unkompliziert. Für uns wurden sogar extra andere Sektsorten besorgt. Auch der Service war super, Danke noch mal an das tolle Team.

Wir waren zum Brunch mit 4 Personen. Riesige Auswahl und sehr lecker. Aufmerksamer Service. Eine etwas gehobene Geräuschkulisse. Das werden wir bestimmt wiederholen.

Der Service und das Ambiente waren hervorragend. Die Portionen waren ausreichend und der Preis angemessen. Allerdings war die Soße etwas zu intensiv, sodass ich Schwierigkeiten hatte, das Essen aufzuessen. Trotzdem würde ich das Restaurant empfehlen und beim nächsten Mal etwas anderes probieren.

Wir währen ja sehr gerne, auf Empfehlung, bei Ihnen essen gegangen, aber haben keinen Parkplatz gefunden. Kundenparkplatz nicht vorhanden. Somit mussten wir unverrichteter Dinge wieder fahren.

Wir haben letztes Wochenende hier die Kommunion unseres Sohnes gefeiert. Dazu haben wir den Wintergarten zu unserer exklusiven nutzung zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. Wir konnten am Vortag Girlanden und Tischschmuck im Restaurant abgeben, und das Personal hat den Wintergarten für uns geschmückt. Die Bedienung war während der ganzen Feier sehr schnell und aufmerksam. Wir konnten aus der kompletten Karte bestellen, so dass für jeden ein Essen dabei war. Aufgrund der guten Vorbereitung und Durchführung war der Tag für uns sehr entspannt und alle Gäste haben sich wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank noch einmal!

Leckere Gerichte und gute Portionen Freundliche Bedienung

Süper Freundliche Kellern der Service ist auch weiter zuenfehlen.

Besonders toll zum Brunchen geeignet. Im Sommer hat man einen herrlichen Blick über Aachen und man kann schön draußen sitzen.

Ich muss meine schlechtere Rezension von vor 2 Jahren deutlich revidieren. Wir waren nun zum dritten Mal bei euch und diesmal konnten wir die Begeisterung der Familie verstehen! Das Essen war um längen besser, der Service total bemüht und alles wie es sein sollte!

Nach einer Wanderung dort zu 10. (reserv.) eingekehrt. Super freundlich empfangen! Obwohl 2 Kinderkommunionen im Haus waren, sehr zügige Bedienung und ALLE Gerichte hervorragend angerichtet und super lecker. Als i-Tüpfelchen wurde zum Ende von Limocello bis espresso gratis dazugegeben. Besten Dank!! Wir kommen alle gerne wieder!

Schönes Restaurant. Besonders an sonnigen Tagen ist es hier sehr angenehm, da man draußen sitzen und den schönen Garten und die Vögel genießen kann. Kinderfreundlich, da die Kleinen auf der Wiese spielen können. Das Essen war köstlich und schön angerichtet. Das Besteckset war ansprechend. Grillteller, Lachssalat und Lasagne waren alle sehr lecker. Die Toilette war sauber und ordentlich. Auch drinnen gab es eine schöne Dekoration für nicht so sonnige Tage. Das Personal war freundlich. Es wäre schön, wenn es für Geburtstage kleine Cupcakes und Kerzen gäbe (ziemlich günstig, aber eine nette Geste). Das erinnert mich an die Spur-Restaurants in Südafrika, wo das Personal den Gästen ein Ständchen brachte, wenn sie Geburtstag hatten. Einfach eine nette Geste.

Ein sehr leckeres Buffet zum Frühstück, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, ein netter Service. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Am Wochenende ist eine Reservierung sinnvoll.

Habe heute meinen Geburtstag hier mit einem Brunch gefeiert. Meine zahlreichen Gäste und ich haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Essen war super gut und das Personal war ultranett und sehr serviceorientiert. Die Vorbereitungsgespräche mit dem Chef, Herrn Karadag, waren freundlich und unkompliziert. Ich habe einen rundum schönen Tag verleben dürfen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team.

Hallo ich dachte mir ich gebe mal ein kleines Statement ab nach meinem Besuch in diesem echt schönen Restaurant.Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Service ,die Frau die mich bedient hat war sehr sympathisch und sehr aufmerksam. Das Ambiente dort ist sehr schön und auch Kinder freundlich. Das Essen schmeckt super und macht satt daher werd ich noch mal ein Tag mit meiner Familie dorthin auf entspannt was essen .Ich kann es jedem nur weiter empfehlen 👍🏼

KLASSE durch Zufall heute das unscheinbare Lokal entdeckt. Es war schon recht gut zu tun, trotzdem war das Personal ruhig und gelassen und nahm sich Zeit für meine Fragen . Man sagte mir das es nun auch Vegane Gerichte gibt , falls dies für mich in Frage käme . Auf der Mittagskarte ist wirklich was für jeden dabei. Preise sind vollkommen inordnung, für das was man geboten bekommt . Vielen Dank für die freundliche Atmosphäre. Im Sommer sehen wir uns wieder .

Ich war heute zum Mittagstisch da. Was soll ich sagen Preis Leistung ist top , unschlagbar. Mayonnaise und Ketchup wurde nicht berechnet, die freundliche Kellnerin sagte dies sei auf Wunsch immer inklusive. Wo findet man heute noch sowas ? Alles in allem sehr guter Eindruck , Essen top servicekräfte top . Wir kommen wieder !

Ich war zur mittags zeit hier und bin absolut begeistert. Das Schnitzel war mit Abstand das beste, das ich je in Aachen gegessen habe – perfekt gebraten, unglaublich zart und geschmacklich auf den Punkt. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit frischen Zutaten gekocht wird. Auch der Service war extrem freundlich und aufmerksam man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Besonders erwähnenswert ist außerdem der Sonntagsbrunch, bei dem ich zuvor schon einige male war. Dieser isz vielfältig, reichhaltig und einfach unglaublich lecker – eine tolle Auswahl, alles frisch und sehr hochwertig. Definitiv einer der besten Brunches, die ich kenne.

Heute Mittag zum ersten Mal dort gewesen. Wir hatten beide Schnitzel mit unterschiedlichen Soßen. Leider wirkten die Wiener Schnitzel wie Fertigprodukte und schmeckten auch so. Die Soße war sehr dick und klebrig, vermutlich mit viel Soßenbinder. Beilagensalat und Pommes ebenfalls Fertig- bzw. TK-Ware. Fazit: Dafür muss man nicht ins Restaurant gehen, das bekommt man zu Hause mit Discounter-Produkten genauso hin. Positiv: Der Service war freundlich.

Ich habe dort Backfisch bestellt und war sehr enttäuscht. Es wurde ein billiger TK Feritgbackfisch serviert, der sehr fischig roch und an der Grenze des genießbaren lag. Das kann man mit den gleichen Kosten deutlich besser zubereiten. Das Lokal ist sehr nett und man würde gerne wieder kommen. Die abgenutzten Sitzbänke sollte man jedoch auch mal zeitnah erneuern, da es nicht so toll aussieht.

Ich bin hier oft und gerne Gast und würde noch nie enttäuscht.

A very good place to throw a party. We held our high school graduation party there. The staff was very friendly, and the food was good. The next day, the four of us tried the brunch breakfast. We also enjoyed that. Good selection, good value for money. We'll be back.

We really enjoy eating there. You can sit outside in the summer, the food is delicious, and the staff are very friendly. Dogs are welcome.

The starter plate is top class and I can only recommend everyone to order one as a starter for everyone

Coolest restaurant! Simply perfect! Kid-friendly, great drinks, and simply amazing food. There's nothing more to say.

I thought the price-performance ratio was perfectly acceptable. We really enjoyed the fresh rolls, like from the bakery, although I would have liked a bit more variety. The food was delicious, but some items weren't warm. They would definitely have been even better if they were hot. The service was friendly and helpful.

We were there for breakfast brunch. The selection of dishes was good, with dips, cold cuts, cakes, fruit, and antipasti, and two hot dishes. However, the quality of the food was only mediocre. Much of it tasted as if it had been prepared the day before. The dips weren't very flavorful, and the cake was (presumably) from the freezer. I would like to highlight the fruit selection and the fact that there is almost always a vegetarian alternative. We were absolutely shocked that a bottle of water (0.75 liters) costs €9. That is, unfortunately, completely overpriced. Unfortunately, we didn't see this until we got the bill. The ambiance outside is very nice. What isn't very inviting, however, are the different glasses the orange juice is served in. From raki glasses to unlabeled glasses of all shapes. For a price of just under €23 for the breakfast buffet, I expect a bit more.

We're a little disappointed. Brunch is supposed to include hot food. This wasn't the case on our visit. Even the scrambled eggs were cold. The coffee was tasteless, and the dishes were cold and therefore unappealing. Cold stuffed mushrooms with cheese and minced meat were impossible to cut and left me with a bit of a nausea. It's a shame. It put us off so much that we won't be eating there again. Sorry, but maybe we were just having a bad day.

Decent Mediterranean and German cuisine at fair prices, especially at lunch and for pick-up. Always very friendly service. We go there often and are always satisfied. 😊

A fantastic restaurant. Such delicious food, with a lovely atmosphere. You don't have to wait long for your food, and the service is excellent. Very friendly, pleasant, and competent staff. My friends Hatice, Hüsniye, and I love going to this restaurant. The waiters are always in a good mood; my favorite is Erturun 🤣. No kidding, they're all our favorite waiters. The chefs are also absolutely fantastic, friendly, and competent. I/we would even give more than 5 stars. Thank you so much for everything, it's great that you exist. Keep up the good work. These days, it's nice to find a restaurant where everything is just right, including the value for money.

We were here for Sunday or holiday brunch. A huge variety, ranging from traditional sweet breakfast scrambled eggs to various salmon variations including whole salmon, dips, sauces, Mediterranean baked appetizers, cakes, etc. Coffee is regularly refilled. Highly recommended.

I was there for the first time yesterday. It was delicious. I wanted to order something else but made a mistake. I also got a bowl of peppercorn sauce. It's top-notch, I highly recommend it.

Sitting outside is very nice. They have a large memory card, which isn't always a good idea. The service is very friendly.

We went here with the family for brunch on Mother's Day. We really liked it there, especially the atmosphere and the food. The staff from whom we received a very friendly welcome are very accommodating. The food was excellent, nothing was missing. It was a very nice day and certainly not the last visit. Went there to eat spontaneously. The outdoor terrace offers an ambience with a view of green areas, RWTH buildings and a panoramic view towards Lousberg. Inside, simple but functional furniture with a cozy leather couch corner. The waiter was friendly and the food came after a short wait. The vegetables were steamed and still really crunchy, the salmon was crispy and just right.

I used to go there often because the price was simply good. Was there a week ago now. Prices have been increased by over 30% but the food is only half as much. The boss was super arrogant and unfriendly. We won't go there anymore

Clean shop that gave us a friendly welcome. The menu is colorful and left a good impression, which cannot be said about the dishes we ordered. The schnitzels were safely in the deep fryer and not really pounded. The “pepper cream sauce” was white sauce thickener with pickled peppercorns. Using helpers is generally not a problem and assembling a basic sauce is part of a cook's everyday business. I wonder what the problem is with a pepper sauce with a little demi-glace or, if the budget doesn't allow for something like that, working with gravy or brown sauce thickener. In addition, the unsalted fries seemed to be counted out, which doesn't leave a good impression for a product that is bought in bulk and is therefore cheap. The service was friendly but uncertain and gave the impression that he didn't know exactly how to proceed. This was clearly reflected when, after the drinks were brought, the cards were taken without taking any food or at least asking if there was food. All in all, I wouldn't recommend visiting this establishment, at least not to dine. As a restaurateur, I can only give the tip to revise the menu and optimize the processes in the kitchen. Even untrained personnel can handle powders. You should also treat the chefs to a culinary course or talk to restaurateur friends about working with and preparing convenience products and take a risk.

Delicious food with a good selection. We were there with a larger group and yet the food was ready quickly for everyone. The service was quick and friendly. Parking is a bit difficult had to walk about 200 meters. That's why only 4 stars. Gladly again

The location is ideal, with parking in front of the building. Very friendly and attentive staff. Brunch offered bread rolls, packaged jam, and a variety of Mediterranean salads on large platters, cold-cooked whole salmon, and scrambled eggs made from whole eggs instead of whole eggs from a Tetra Pak. This was very commendable, given the large portion size. Hot dishes: kofte, salmon, rice, and baked vegetables. Finally, there was a wide selection of fruit salads, cakes, and crepes.

Very friendly staff with good food and very good price

Always worth a visit. We often eat there with three generations and everyone can find something on the menu. The pick-up card is also highly recommended.

We are disappointed..... It may be that it is a restaurant where you can eat well a la carte. The brunch is definitely nothing... Not a burner in terms of taste. Boiled eggs were cold. no bread, fruit only in the form of a fruit salad. Selection very manageable. There are almost no vegan alternatives. Also no oat milk for cappuccino. DEFINITELY not for vegans. It's a shame there are definitely better ones...

Went there today for brunch with 11 other people, the offering was great in terms of quality and quantity, everyone was thrilled. The staff was very nice and attentive. I can only recommend the restaurant.

Das Ambiente ist zweckmäßig, das Essen gut, der Service einwandfrei. Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht. Dies erfreut zwar den Gastronomen, der Geräuschpegel war deswegen allerdings so hoch, daß ein Gespräch am Tisch in normaler Lautstärke kaum möglich war. Sehr schade.

Absolute recommendation, huge selection, delicious food

Unfortunately the worst breakfast buffet I have ever visited. There are almost only casserole dishes, although the “vegetarian offering” is limited to frozen vegetables with cheese. There is meat in almost everything, and nowadays you should at least be able to find something if you are a vegetarian, especially since it is advertised as such. Unfortunately, the food doesn't taste particularly good either, and unfortunately our expectations were more than exceeded. In the end I paid the buffet price and didn't even eat a dessert size, which was a shame.

Food was a disaster. Are Sunday for breakfast brunch. Scrambled eggs were grayish greenish in places and completely dried out. Börek tasted like old oil. “Vegetarian” isn’t really worth mentioning. Price performance ratio was very bad

The terrace is an absolute highlight in the university district in summer. The dishes are excellent, the service is quick and friendly. One of my favorite restaurants in Aachen.

Accused of not paying. Made me feel like a thief. Some waiters seem permanently angry in this place. Relax. UPDATE: After chasing me for money they asked the person I ate with and now, we have paid them twice. Give us our money back, please, and an apology.

I treated myself to the rigatoni casserole and it was the best casserole I've eaten so far 😋

**Terrible Service and Zero Customer Orientation** I had an extremely disappointing experience at Auf der Hörn restaurant on Saturday, August 10th, 2024. Our group of eight wanted to eat there at 12:00 noon, and three of us arrived ten minutes early at 11:50. Given the restaurant’s large capacity, both inside and outside, and the fact that it was completely empty, we decided to sit outside and wait for the other people to arrive. To accommodate our group, we simply connected an adjacent table to ours —there were no signs of reservations on any table, and the place was entirely vacant. To our astonishment, a waiter came out and rudely chastised us for rearranging the tables without asking. His tone was unnecessarily aggressive, and he barked at us about the restaurant not being open until 12:00 noon, even though we weren’t requesting any service. We were merely sitting and waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. While I can understand the restaurant wanting to maintain control over their table setup, the way the waiter handled the situation was utterly unprofessional. Instead of politely asking us to wait or explaining their policy on table arrangements, he chose to be confrontational and rude. This is not how you treat customers, especially in the service industry. Had the waiter approached us with respect and politeness, the situation could have been easily resolved. Instead, his behavior was so off-putting that it completely soured our experience before it even began. We ended up leaving and took our food in another restaurant. To whoever manages or owns this restaurant: you can thank your rude staff member who was there on Saturday the 10th of August 2024 at 11:50 for the loss of at least €300 in potential revenue. Our group was prepared to enjoy a full meal with starters, main courses, and desserts, but instead, we were met with hostility and poor service. I highly recommend reconsidering your approach to customer service, as it’s clear this restaurant has little to no regard for treating customers with basic decency. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place.

It is a decent, high quality and very well designed place. The food is delicious, the employees are polite, the prices are affordable.

We ate in this restaurant for the first time today, I chose Turkish cuisine, I thought so I can't do anything wrong, mistake, simply inedible, my husband took a cream schnitzel, the same disaster, once and never again.
