Ata - Oriental Soulfood in Baden-Baden

I've been there three times now. The first two times were really good, but this time, today, I was a little disappointed. The first pide was burnt and they gave it to me like that. The second pide is great, but less meat :/ Why not reuse the old meat from the old pide (10min old)? 🥹 He also charged me a euro more than it cost, but I didn't even notice that when I paid by card (because I trusted him). All in all pretty good, but the guy really had a bad day.

We ate there yesterday, what we immediately noticed was the staff, who were very attentive and friendly, Took our order and shortly after our starter arrived, shortly afterwards our grill platter arrived.. All wishes were fulfilled and the children even found the service very nice, the food was very tasty, freshly prepared, especially the home-baked bread was the highlight as well as the delicate explosion of flavor of the meat. So we were very satisfied and gave 10 stars out of 5 stars If you are looking for child-friendly and very good food, the restaurant is highly recommended

The last time the food was completely different than the time before (pizza). Ordered on the phone. It was very unfriendly. When I asked when we could get the food something was said in Arabic in a scary tone. When we are there, we are always shocked at how the kebab is topped. There's something brutal about it. Incredible stress in the store. Nothing to eat in a relaxed manner. Then they also claim that it is a restaurant. That's a long shot and the prices are sometimes completely exorbitant. You also don't need a yufka that is so big that you can eat it for three days. There are better shops in the area. We're never going here again especially after that phone call.

If you want to eat good Greek with good Greek meat and good accompaniments this is the ideal place, all served in large portions and a warm welcome

The kebab was quite good. Unfortunately it was cold because it wasn't put aside warm. Next time I would like not only to keep it warm but also to not put the tongs in everything because there are people with allergies. Nevertheless, the store is really nicely designed. One more thing, the door when going out is a slight tripping hazard, perhaps a small sign saying “Caution Steps” would be appropriate. VG

Coming across it by chance after a day at Europa-Park, it's a pure marvel, the generous plates of the beautiful Greeks, truly magnificent, speaking only French, they did everything to help us choose, offered tea, incredibly kind, truly the best address. that I made 10/10 saha

Ata Grill & Kebab is the location for delicious kebabs, yufka, falafel, pide, pizza and excellent grilled meat. Not only a culinary delight, but also something to behold! Stylish, tasteful furnishings with that certain something. I have rarely experienced nicer hosts! Always my pleasure...

It was my first time at ATA and I ate a kebab. Doner wasn't the best in the world, as some here claim, but it was good, I can recommend it and I would come again. However, the parking situation is catastrophic. And if you as a man have to pee, you should be extremely thin or have a 30cm long tube down to get to the urinal. Service was nice and friendly. Ambiance is very nice. 11€ for kebab & Coke is ok.

One of the best and tastiest yufka I have ever eaten in my life. The meat was simply great and the service was very nice and friendly.

The store is very good and stands out from others. Unfortunately, the working atmosphere between employees also stands out. Having to wait twenty minutes for two takeaway kebabs is just not nice and not worth the extraordinary taste. The boss is also very unfriendly and almost expects his employees to be submissive. As a customer, it doesn't bother me if my kebab sits at the counter for 10 seconds. What bothers me more is when the boss plays like crazy and makes a fool of his employees in front of the guests. As a customer, you would probably be happy if the boss delivered the food himself... But that's definitely too much to expect in the store. It seems as if it were a pure demonstration of power by the owner regarding the service. The food tastes really great and is worth the price, but because of the service and behavior described by the owner himself, I will avoid supporting such a manager in the future.

Had a Yufka on October 3rd, 2024 at 6 p.m. It was really tasty, actually. I sat on the bowl every hour the whole night and the next day at 2 p.m. I threw up the kebab. Never again. No idea what the problem was.

Maybe we were just unlucky, my pide with pomegranate didn't have any pomegranates on it. I was also asked beforehand if it was ok, but my wife couldn't tolerate the gratinated kebab. Cutlery and drinks also took a while. I guess I'll have to go alone again... hope it was just bad luck on my part.

The kebab plate used to be the best here but they changed the meat. This only consists of minced meat and doesn't taste good at all. The sauces are still very tasty here, but you can only tolerate the meat here if you drink a lot and eat a lot of sauce. It's a shame that you'll ruin the place with such a change.

Service and ambience top! Everyone is super nice! Unfortunately, kebab disappointed me. The “flat” bread fell apart so that half the contents were on the plate and I wasn’t impressed with the meat. I like homemade kebab meat, but the skewer looked like the typical pressed meat skewers that you can get at every kebab shop around the corner. It's a shame, I was really looking forward to the kebab...

This kebab shop was recommended to me a lot, today June 22nd. I was there and probably got the worst Yufka EU-West. I think it was because of the timing and the young man on the spit was unfriendly and for some reason he didn't like my face. My friend's Yufka was great

That was the tastiest kebab I've eaten in my life. The meat tastes incredibly good and high quality, like fresh from the grill. All the ingredients are fresh and the sauces are perfect. We come from Bühl and would drive the long way here just for this kebab, absolutely recommended!

ATA Grill & Kebab is a solid option if you're looking for a quick, filling meal without spending too much. However, there are certainly aspects that could be improved to make the experience more pleasant, notably not taking credit card payments for tourists. Bring cash!

A nice restaurant with good service and a good atmosphere however it's key points are the affordable price the amazing food (best I've ever had in my life) with enormous portions the only faults I can think of is if due to some stomach issues you can't eat to much in which case the large portions are a down side and the fact that it's extremely deep inside the countryside so it's hard to find however it has vegetarian options and also is quite good for people who can't eat pork due to religion or the not being able to eat pork

If you order food to take away, you have to wait at least 1 hour in the restaurant. This was the case for us, we were ignored after ordering, the restaurant was always served first. The food was only prepared after we asked, even though it was ordered directly from the LOCAL.

If you want to eat Turkish food in and around Baden-Baden, you can't avoid the ATA. Be it to eat comfortably on site or to grab something in your hand, there is something for everyone. The selection of dishes is correspondingly diverse. The food was very tasty, the price/performance ratio was more than justified, because the portion per person was so large that you could almost have shared it with someone and last but not least, we were served very friendly and courteously. Our culinary adventure began with a selection of homemade starters, which were lovingly prepared and sweetened our introduction to Anatolian cuisine. Next we were treated to a selection of fresh vegetables, artfully prepared and seasoned with delicate spices. The combination of crisp lettuce, grilled peppers and tender aubergines offered a true explosion of flavor and demonstrated the chefs' passion for high-quality ingredients and sophisticated flavors. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the main course, which included an impressive variety of Anatolian meat dishes and vegetarian specialties. Juicy kebabs, tender lamb and spicy minced meat rolls were artfully arranged on traditional plates and accompanied by fragrant rice and crispy potatoes. The vegetarian options did not disappoint either and impressed with their variety and finesse. But it wasn't just the food that was impressive, the selection of drinks was also impressive. Had a kebab with my husband today. You know the standard kebab and expect accordingly...but far from it! No standard, fresh arugula and carrot make it something new. Super nice and attentive service! The counter is also not standard: no aluminum bowls but everything arranged in beautiful salad bowls. Overall atmosphere very pleasant and modern!

Very good kebab with its own twist! Today I was at Ata and tried the "Ata special kebab". With pomegranate seeds, rocket and fresh lemon juice. That was incredibly delicious!! I'm already looking forward to the next time. Then I'll try something from the grill! Atmosphere and service is also very nice and modern!

I think the taste of Meze is OK. In my opinion a bit expensive for the amount you get. I expected a larger portion for the price, especially because the restaurant is in a small town and not in a big city.

Great kebab shop, staff super nice and accommodating. You are served quickly and it tastes really good. So if you want to eat a good kebab again and don't want to go to the rancid kebab around the corner and want really good quality meat, come here and fill your stomach. My colleague Bastian wants to go here every day even though we have to drive 20 minutes. But it's always worth it.
