Terrible service, over an hour's wait, no communication, not good at all, extremely dry meat, a very bad experience.

First and last time. The service was far too slow. We ordered kebabs. The meat was dry, like meat chips, and there was more salad than anything else—a salad sandwich… I really don't recommend it.

Today I bought a yufa, it was too dry, took forever to chew, and the meat was just as dry with chunks of fat in it. And you couldn't taste the steak at all, just the sauce, and it cost €10.50.

Very good yufka and similar dishes. It's best to pre-order food by phone; otherwise, you can easily wait 30 minutes for a single yufka during peak hours, as everyone is served in turn.

We were there yesterday, and the food was good. The pide was huge, but it also cost €18. It tasted good, but not the best I've ever had. The doner meat, on the other hand, was quite delicious, unlike anything I've had before. The doner sauce was also very good. However, the service left a lot to be desired. We were served by a young woman who wasn't very customer-oriented; she was rather unfriendly and not very polite. We asked if she could pack up the rest for us, and she said, "I'll bring you the boxes, and you can do it yourselves, okay?" instead of, "I'm really busy right now; would it be okay if you could do it yourselves today?" Given the high prices of the food, good service should be a given. Her manner of speaking to us wasn't exactly friendly either. Furthermore, they had no Coke, no Coke Zero, and no regular doner meat left—all this on a Saturday evening at 8 p.m. The next table also wanted to order a Coke, but the server explained that they were out. After some back and forth, they changed their minds, and the server responded with a snide "Well, there you go," just like when they had recently opted for iced tea... All in all, the food was quite good and the restaurant was nicely decorated, but the service significantly detracted from the experience.

For the past two or three weeks, they've been offering this new premium steak, and what can I say? It's by far the best meat in the whole area. The ribeye is cooked to perfection, sliced ​​beautifully thin, and has a real, authentic flavor without any of the additives and preservatives. The new steak actually costs the same as the other cuts of meat (everyone else around charges an extra €1-2) – which I think is great. The service was excellent; the owner and staff were incredibly friendly. I had a baked yufka and couldn't even finish it because it was so big (but it was really delicious). There's absolutely nothing to complain about; it's the best place around. Cheers!

I spontaneously drove to ATA in Baden-Baden one evening because I'd heard so many good things about it. Even though it was my first visit, I was greeted incredibly warmly. I wanted my doner kebab without tomatoes, and the owner himself immediately asked if I had a tomato allergy. You can tell he's thoughtful and truly passionate about his business. The food was absolutely delicious, and the owner is an exceptionally friendly person. Highly recommended – I'll definitely be back.

So, I ate at ATA for the first time today, and the service was an absolute disaster. I waited an hour for two doner kebabs and two doner boxes, and in the end, it didn't even deserve that long. The bread was too crispy, the doner box arrived without cutlery, and there were no napkins either. The doner itself tasted okay.

We went to ATA today and were very disappointed. I got a doner kebab that was more like a salad sandwich – hardly any meat, but four (!) pomegranate seeds – and that for €15.50. My colleague also had a doner kebab, and there was practically no meat to be seen in his either. To us, it seems like a complete rip-off. In total, we paid around €40, including a can of Coke for €4. The value for money is extremely poor. You can clearly tell that they're more concerned with making money than with quality or customer satisfaction. For me, that means: Never again. Baden-Baden has so much more to offer than places that are only out for profit.

Unfortunately, the prices are too high. €13 for a cold çiğ köfte yufka with dry bread is not the best experience. The other dishes are definitely worth 5 stars in terms of taste. The pide looked very good, but even there, €18 is too expensive for me. A shame.

The food tastes okay, but the price-performance ratio isn't right for me. The prices are sometimes even higher than in some Italian restaurants. I was annoyed that there weren't any smaller portions for children and not even small bottles of water for kids – that feels like a rip-off. The service was neutral, nothing special. At these prices, I would expect the staff to at least be paid well. Overall: taste okay, price/selection needs improvement. 7 euros for water is simply not normal.

Yesterday I ate at ATA Grill & Kebab – Oriental Soul Food for the first time, and I have to say, it was a special experience. We had a yufka, a baked yufka, a premium döner, and a standard yufka, along with ayran and Coke – all for around 50 euros. Yes, the price is definitely on the higher end, but the overall experience more than justifies it. The place is modern and stylish, with everything designed with great attention to detail. You can tell that they place a high value on quality and presentation. I'd especially like to highlight the premium döner with parmesan and arugula – it tasted fantastic, was juicy, fresh, and exceptionally presented. In short: not just a cheap fast-food joint, but a well-thought-out concept for anyone who wants to experience döner on a whole new level. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back.

My husband was really excited the first time, but the last two times the vegetarian yufka was a disappointment. There was far too little sauce, even though we specifically requested plenty of sauce. As a result, it was basically just a dry, oversized wrap full of lettuce with a slice or two of feta cheese, since we ordered the yufka without rice. For €10, that's just not appropriate. I'd rather have a smaller one, better filled, and with more sauce – as you'd expect. We're really disappointed. The pizzas are very good, but unfortunately, they're also incredibly expensive.

If you're looking for a good yufka/doner kebab, you've come to the right place! The quality and freshness of the ingredients are simply top-notch. The sauce is easy to digest and tastes absolutely fantastic. The portions are also very generous and really filling. There's simply no better one in the area. Update after a good two years: the place has simply become outrageously expensive. Yes, you're the best in the area, but €19.50 for a plate of doner kebab? Absolutely unrealistic. I'll probably never eat here again.

Delicious food Service could be better but the good food makes up for it

We recently ate there. We had to wait 20 minutes before our order was taken, even though servers kept rushing past our table. The door to the dishwashing area was constantly open, so the smell of dishwater was constantly in our noses. We had a premium kebab and the iskender. The quality and taste were good, but not really worth the price. €15 for a medium kebab and €24 for the iskender is pretty steep.

Some of the service isn't good. Not recommended. Food is okay. Ambience is okay.

We had a kebab there. The kebab was good, so there's not much to complain about, but it wasn't anything special. But two kebabs (with extra cheese, corn, and rice) plus two drinks for €31 is way over the top.

The yufka tastes amazing, and the falafel is also incredibly good. BUT it's the worst rolled yufka: It falls apart, is way too loose, OPEN at the top and bottom, and they skimped on the aluminum foil. It tastes amazing 10/10, but it's -10 for edibility (€9 for a yufka is pretty expensive).

We were there because of the positive reviews. We ordered a special kebab plate, a special kebab yufka, a kebab box, pide with mozzarella, and lahmacun. The kebab is okay, the side dishes and sauce were good. But good kebabs are made with good meat, not frozen factory-made kebabs. Unfortunately, the lahmacun was terrible. You can see from the photos that it had all the greens on it. The kebab box and mozzarella pide are also okay, but the worst part was, we waited an hour. I'm sorry, nobody told us we'd have to wait so long. That's not possible.

I was at ATA today. I haven't had such good yufka in a long time. I can recommend it anytime. I will only eat my yufka at ATA from now on.

We came especially because it's supposed to be the best kebab - never in my life! We waited 45 minutes for the kebab to arrive, and we had to pay at the cash register. I've never seen a kitchen so dirty. If we had seen it earlier, we definitely wouldn't have eaten there. Just once and never again!

The bread at the Iskender Kebab was completely squashed and tasted and had a consistency as if it had been dipped in water. It was inedible! We even mentioned it, and the waiter said it was because of the tomato sauce. Never again will it be so expensive for such quality. Because you couldn't eat the bread, you were still hungry after the visit… a real shame.

I was here today and ordered a vegetarian yufka. While preparing other dishes, I noticed that the tongs used for the meat were sometimes used for the salads and other ingredients. When I asked the employee about it, they denied this and immediately started using it again. I left the store in horror without taking my order with me. I find it unhygienic, and as a vegetarian, I find it unacceptable that tongs are used for the meat and all the other ingredients at the same time. Then the "vegetarian yufka" is no longer a vegetarian dish. It should be labeled accordingly… WHAT A SHAME!

Compared to other "normal" kebab shops in the region, ATA deserves about six stars. In my opinion, the kebab is the best in the region. Even though it's the most expensive, it's definitely worth the money. The atmosphere is more like a restaurant than a kebab shop. The staff is friendly, although unfortunately often stressed. It's almost always busy, especially on weekends. But their success proves them right. So why only four stars? We've been regular customers for a few months now and pick up food from time to time, occasionally from other shops, but mainly from ATA. A few months ago, the kebab was significantly better in my opinion! It was fresher, a bit more substantial. Unfortunately, that has slipped a bit, and with this review, I want to encourage the team to improve again. Because you can do it! 😉 Then you'll get the fifth star!

The food is truly a 10/10. The taste is top-notch, the price is a bit higher, but I'm happy to pay €2-3 more for a huge, good-quality portion. The only thing that really bothers me is that if you call in advance and order for pickup, you still have to wait just as long as if you just show up and order on the spot. Ate here during our recent European road trip. Wasn’t sure what to have so had what the owner recommended. One of the specials and one of the traditional kebabs. Wow. Both were epic! Great atmosphere. There was a constant stream of customers, mostly local people which I find generally means the food is decent. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

Great atmosphere! Small outdoor area on the street. Two rooms with tables inside. Also suitable for groups. The classic doner kebab is okay, but not great. The portion is large, and the selection of ingredients is good. Unfortunately, both the flatbread for the doner kebab and the flatbread for the yufka weren't freshly baked in the pizza oven, but were bought ready-made and only briefly baked in the contact grill or heated on the hot plate. The bread was unfortunately rather soggy. This deducts two stars, considering that the doner kebab costs €8. The service deducts one star, as the waiting times are unfortunately always very long, and even if you pre-order by phone, you have to wait on site until everything is prepared. I hope to be able to raise my rating if they bake the flatbread in-house again. I would be happy, as the doner kebab shop is otherwise a definite recommendation.

I ordered a rolled lahmacun, but got an open one – annoying when you're expecting something different. The minced meat on top took some getting used to; it had too much of a paprika flavor for my taste. Unfortunately, it was the worst lahmacun I've ever tasted. One thing that really stood out, though, was that the lahmacun bread itself was excellent – ​​the best I've had so far. What really bothered me, though, was that the place was maybe a quarter full, and yet the two of us had to wait almost 30 minutes for a simple pide and a lahmacun. There were four employees behind the counter, but there was little sign of efficiency. This is the second time we've had to wait an unreasonably long time for our food here – despite the lack of business. The overall experience just doesn't add up for me. I won't be eating here again.

NOT RECOMMENDED! I waited a full 40 minutes for my kebab – even though it was barely busy. Inside, it was pure chaos: No one seemed to have an overview, and it seemed disorganized and hectic. When I finally got the kebab, there was hardly any meat in it – truly disappointing. Given the long wait and the poor quality, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

As a Turkish woman, I unfortunately discovered today that there isn't a truly good Turkish restaurant in Germany. Inside, it's a cultural mess – the cooking is often done by Arabs (as if our cultures were the same), and techno music plays in the background. I ordered Pirzola – it came burnt and hard, and the plate was overloaded with everything – also a mess. My husband ordered raki and kebab. The raki came without ice or water 🙂. The kebab was okay. You can tell that effort and good intentions went into it – that's obvious. But the result was unfortunately disappointing. Nevertheless, I'm giving it 4.5 stars because I don't want to lower your rating. Please consider my comment as a constructive suggestion. The food should be of better quality.

We drove there today especially for the New Wave from Phillipsburg to try the "best kebab." It just wasn't good; the bread was completely soggy. The salami pizza was also absolutely not recommended; it was completely dried out and hard. Even though it wasn't busy, we had to wait 30 minutes for our food and 10 minutes to even order. The cutlery, which you could get yourself at the counter, was completely greasy and disgusting, as were the plates that were placed under the menu as "decoration." We did get 6 baklava as compensation, but that doesn't make up for such a bad meal for €50... Once and never again...

I came here because of the many good reviews. They try to present that certain something in the food, like parmesan shavings and pomegranate seeds in the kebab. However, the kebab overall is no more than average, like on almost every corner! My wife's Yufka was also bland and completely dry. The prices are also quite high. Unfortunately, I have to go to Karlsruhe or even better to Mannheim for a good kebab. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a single outstanding kebab in the province here... What a shame!

We came here because we were voted the best kebab (Neue Welle) and can only confirm this. Unfortunately the kebab bread was empty, so we opted for Lahmacum Special and Yufka instead. There are huge portions with plenty of meat and fresh, crunchy vegetables or salad. Service is very friendly and the atmosphere is very modern for a snack bar.

First time I came here in this little kebab and frankly incredible we had a pide it was huge and an iskender the plate was filled on board and it was very good to come without hesitation the only problem lack of parking space.
