The waiter was unfriendly and didn't have time to make me a new drink; they were overwhelmed and no longer had an overview

Unfortunately it was really bad here. The buffet was very poor, we were there at 1 p.m. and the food was only lukewarm. The selection was also very poor as it wasn't refilled. Not even when asked. Soup, mushrooms, duck, chicken in curry etc. were already sold out. When we paid, there was no apology or anything, even though we emphasized several times how bad the service was. We were here for the last time.

We ordered online, the food was delivered HOT and within the stated delivery time. Portions were also fair for the price. Gladly again 👍🏾

Very tasty lunch from the buffet. Price performance top 👍🏼 per adult 11.90 euros. Buffet was good and plentiful. Delicious vegetables, chicken in different variations, duck, fish, two different starter soups, various salads, ice cream for dessert, jelly, fruit cocktail, baked banana, etc. Not to forget the homemade lemonade. Highly recommended

There were metal shavings in the buffet...absolutely unacceptable

This was the last time I was there. The service was very poor and we didn't really have a plan as to where was reserved and where wasn't. I asked for a small drink and was given a large one, but didn't want to waste it so I accepted it. The food was quite good, but with the warm weather, my parents and I just wanted to have a small, hearty meal in between. All the lady at reception said was “Ready so quickly?” Yes, that's the way it is and the sound makes the music. I also think it's a shame that people are now typing with their cell phones everywhere, regardless of whether they're standing at the counter to pay or not. We now drive a little further and know that it is still good after all these years.

There were 3 of us in the restaurant we went for 2 people took the buffet, the 3rd person didn't eat and only ordered a drink. It was expressly stated that the 3rd person would not eat. We are often in the restaurant but the way the waiter treated us when we paid didn't go into such a good tone. There were three people standing in front of the door at the exit because we were paying for the drink. "And he doesn't want to pay or whatever," we would have to listen to it. We said that he hadn't eaten, which we had explicitly said at the beginning. The waiter didn't believe us and said it was impossible to talk to us. So we won't come anymore

The three of us were there for the lunch buffet on Monday at 1:30 p.m. A few years ago you could eat really tasty food here and the service was really friendly and attentive. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. The buffet was filled very slowly and the selection of dishes was manageable. The fried fish was delicious. The taste of the other dishes was below average. Lots of fried convenience products. When we were cashing in we were cheekily cheated. 2x dinner buffet and 1x lunch buffet were billed! ! Paid 10 euros too much. Unfortunately we only noticed it on the receipt when we got home. We do not recommend the restaurant.

Rich, delicious buffet with absolutely fresh ingredients. Missing dishes are quickly replenished. Very nice service who served drinks quickly. Overall, highly recommended.

I'm actually a regular customer for the buffet there. However, the quality of this restaurant has totally deteriorated. The food is "okay" but it has also been better... However, this is the second time that I have been there for the lunch buffet (once with my father and once with my girlfriend) and both times the buffet was not refilled. .. This time it was so bad that there was basically nothing left and I just left with residual hunger. I think that's a disgrace! And then increasing the prices seems almost cheeky!

Unfortunately the entrance area is not attractive but the food and the ambience are very appealing. The three of us ate there and each drank a coke for 62 euros. That was really very good.

Thanks to my new acquaintance, I've been to the Phönix restaurant 4 times now. The buffet is great, but the waitress tries to get the guests drunk so that they become more and more willing to spend (so that they get a hefty tip at the end)!---And They do it so obviously that I find it shameless and tasteless. And to make matters worse, my dear friend, who has been a regular customer there for years and always gives an exorbitant tip, was then insulted by the waiter: "You're drunk, she a...hole!"

Unfortunately, we were yelled at by the owner of the restaurant when we asked him about the special price for children. This price was promised to us when we reserved the table. The next day the gentleman wanted to charge the full price. In response to a friendly hint, we were spoken to loudly. We didn't want to continue the discussion and paid the full price, but will not enter this restaurant again.

We went to the lunch buffet today around 1:30 p.m. Almost all of the food was good and nothing was refilled. At around 2 p.m. I asked the gentleman behind the counter if there was anything more to be added. He then got a little rude and wanted me to eat the rest of the sauce with a few remaining vegetables. I mean, for the €12.90 the buffet costs, I don't want to scrape the burnt remains out of the bowl. Unfortunately for me that was it. I've been disappointed twice now and am actually not a big writer of reviews. But now I had to write about it.

Ordered takeaway food and paid 19% VAT, tax fraud

We were there for lunch today, but unfortunately the chicken wasn't quite cooked through. When paying, I was asked how old my child was (2) and the waiter said children only have to pay from 3 onwards. Then the woman “scolded” the waiter and my bill showed an additional €2. I find that kind of cheeky.

The staff gives me food that is disappointing and a bit overpriced

Food was tasty, but unfortunately only lukewarm. The Spezi had no carbonation. Service was very good, but the clearing was done too quickly, so to speak. The decoration and general facilities are very nice! Overall, however, recommended

There is Asian buffet with average selection and German dessert. However, the ambience is quite loud due to the crowds at the buffet. The service focuses on the standards.

I've been here for years now and can really recommend it. The food is very tasty and is not served hot as hell. The spices are good and authentic and more than enough for a mid-range AucE. The selection is not outstanding but offers everything you would expect. In addition, the staff is more than just friendly and helps immediately without grumbling or complaining. Therefore, a more than just clear recommendation from a local.

Plates were simply taken away during the meal. Waiter was very rude. I understand, it is very stressful due to lack of staff and many guests. But as a solution to scare away your guests? OK.

Always enjoy eating at the buffet

Went here spontaneously after a performance at the Theater Itzehoe and – what can I say: absolutely great restaurant. Interior and ambience tasteful, as you wish. Buffet and service: Excellent and fast. We were looked after in a very friendly manner. Absolute gourmet jewel in downtown Itzehoer.

After more than 15 years, I went to Phoenix again for dinner with friends. The buffet was relatively small and was also filled with warm dishes. Unfortunately, dessert was a flop. Just baked bananas and Jell-O. The ice cream is empty bowls with remnants of ice cream on the edge. Drinks service poor. Unfortunately, the service almost never comes to the table, you really die of thirst. Tables are cleared quickly, but otherwise the politeness still needs to be worked on

Unfortunately, we have to report that it was nothing special. The two soups were very tasty. The main courses had a very limited selection and were lukewarm. The noodle soup, where you can pour the broth over yourself, was unfortunately cold. The sushi was okay. We only had one drink because no one asked for more after the first one. Nobody came to pay, you had to come to the counter. Hence no tip. It was just a matter of getting it done quickly.

The food is good. Now more choice.

We had Shrimp Szechuan and Pork Chop Suey. It tasted great, the portions were plentiful and inexpensive.

Cozy restaurant with good food. My recommendation is the buffet. Definitely worth a visit.

We went there for dinner at 8pm on a Sunday. Unfortunately, our experience there was almost entirely negative. Point 1: there was hardly any food left there and nothing was refilled Point 2: the tables were set so loudly that you couldn't even have a conversation Point 3: the service employee was so busy FaceTiming (which was extremely loud and therefore found very annoying) that we couldn't order a drink. When he was finished we had to talk to him, but then unfortunately the wrong drink came. All in all, the employees were unfortunately more busy with their cell phones than with the guests. A pity.

My friend and I went there again today for the dinner buffet after a long time. Very disappointing.. We usually sit for over an hour to eat... Today 30 minutes 😠 Eat cold 👎 Service unfriendly 👎 For €16.90/person 👎 Toilets not clean 👎 Ice chest didn't look inviting either 👎 We won't be going there again. We paid 0.3 l...40.20€ for the buffet and 2 small cokes 👎

Freundliche Bedienung, gutes Essen

Für Veganer*innen absolut ungeeignet. Am Telefon wurde gesagt das es für jeden was gibt, auch als wir vor Ort waren. Beim Buffet war es mehr als übersichtlich und dann noch viel zu viel Glutamat. Als dann ein falsches Getränk zurück gebracht wurde, wurde es noch unfreundlicher. Später gab es dann noch ein falsches Getränk. Da werde ich definitiv nicht noch einmal hingehen

Aufgrund der Größe des Restaurants ist das Angebot der Speisen übersichtlich. Platzangebot ist gut. Wir konnten auch ohne Reservierung speisen. Kann man Empfehlen.👍👍

Einfach wunderbar, klein aber fein!!! Man darf keine riesige Auswahl erwarten, aber von allem ist eigentlich was da, was man bei nem typischen buffet so erwartet. Wir gehen hier sehr gerne hin!

Viel Auswahl am Buffet Preis sehr gut

Hat nachgelassen. Bedienung war ein junger Mann. Dieser sprach sehr schlecht Deutsch, habe nichs verstanden. Er war sehr freundlich ABER er hat stark nach Schweiß gerochen. Schade ...

Ich war nicht überzeugt. Ich war um 17:30 Uhr vor Ort. Ich bin in das Restaurant gekommen und wurde während des Jacke-ausziehens schon nach Getränken und Buffet essen gefragt, ohne dass ich erstmal ankommen konnte. Was mir dann saueraufstieß ist auf dem einen Bild zu sehen. Salz und Pfeffer Deckel verwechselt und, der Löffel wurde mind. das letzte Mal mittags benutzt und nicht gereinigt, der Deckel von dem "Maggi" sieht auch nicht gerade hyginisch aus. Das Buffet war klein, im Gegensatz zu den asiatischen Restaurants, in denen ich sonst bin. Anstatt Kroketten gab es Pommes, obwohl das Kroketten Schild dort noch stand. Die Pommes waren halb kalt und labrig. Die Frühlingsrollen waren auch nur so lala. Das Schweinefleisch war auch nicht doll. Der Mitarbeiter war nett, hat aber nach kaltem, alten schweiß gerochen. Die einzig positiven Dinge waren: 1) Der nach schweiß richende Mitarbeiter war nett/höflich/freundlich. 2) Der Preis ist für dass, was man bekommt, okay. In meinem Fall waren es Bratnudeln, Reis, Hähnchenfleisch und süß-sauer Sauce 3) Das Lokal war voll und die Speisen beim Buffet wurden schnell nachgelegt. Mit zwei großen Getränken lag ich bei 23€/24€. Ich müsste das Restaurant nicht nochmal besuchen.

Zum Abendbuffet dort gewesen.Freundlichkeit geht anders wir hatten das Gefühl schon mit der Getränbestellung zu stören.Getränke wurden ohne Nachfrage in 0,5 gebracht.Unter dem Tisch befanden sich noch Essensreste vom Mittagsbuffet.Auswahl soweit okay,doch gewisse Speisen sehr zögerlich nachgelegt und da wir im Nebenraum saßen ,waren die Leute mit Blick aufs Buffet klar im Vorteil,denn bis wir da waren,waren die beliebten Speisen schon wieder leer.

Folgende Rezension bezieht sich auf das Mittagsbuffet: Schöne Auswahl an unterschiedlichen asiatischen Speisen zu relativ fairen Preisen. Geschmacklich war es insgesamt okay, teilweise aber etwas salzig. Die Frühlingsrollen kann man jedoch wirklich nicht empfehlen, da sie nur nach unterschiedlichen Garstufen von Teig schmecken. Der Service war nicht so überzeugend. Es wurde keine Getränkekarte geliefert und wir mussten nach allem selbst fragen.

Ich hatte eine Fußmassage. Zuerst war es etwas schmerzhaft, danach fühlte es sich gut an.

Das Buffet ist Mittags unbedingt zu empfehlen! Wo bekommt man inklusive Nachtisch und Kaffee noch etwas für 10€! Es wurde auch immer ausreichend nachgelegt.

Sehr leckeres Essen, Buffet wird immer wieder aufgefüllt.

Gutes Ambiente, leckeres Essen. Ein Stern Abzug, da die Inhaber oder Mitarbeiter an der Kasse vorne rumsaßen und richtig laut Videos auf dem Handy geguckt haben. Dafür 5 …nein 10 (!) Sterne an einen besonderen Kollegen , es war ein Herr mit dunklem Teint , der sich wirklich …. den A*sch aufgerissen hat. Er war gefühlt der einzige der wirklich dort gearbeitet hat. Er ist hin und hergelaufen. Hat Stühle verrückt, Tische aufgeräumt, Kunden nach dem Wohlbefinden gefragt, sehr genau beobachtet was man gemacht hat, ob was fehlt, ob man einen Kinderstuhl braucht, ob man Nachschlag möchte oder etwas zu trinken braucht. Der junge Herr ist hin und her gerannt und war super super fleißig. Also echt zehn Sterne. Ganz toll. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, und hoffen den Kollegen öfter begrüßen zu können und hoffen, dass das mit den anderen Kollegen welche rumsaßen und Videos guckten eventuell nur eine Ausnahme war. So Erstmal rückblickend eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung gewesen und der freundliche und fleißige Kollege hat das mit der Lärmbelästigung (Daher -1 Stern bei “Ambiete”) ausgeglichen. 👍🏻
