Delicious Asian food at quite reasonable prices. Service was a bit slow due to staffing issues, but still recommended.

Update: Things have been going better for some time now. The specified time is usually adhered to and it doesn't always take as long as it used to, at least when it comes to collection. We are actually satisfied and like to pick things up more often. Unfortunately I have to correct my rating. The food still tastes good, but unfortunately the service and time management have become even worse than before, that is beyond question. There may just be a bit too much fish in the small makis for some tastes, but it's better than just being fed off with rice. Before Corona, with the all you can eat offer, it had already taken an hour until we got the first plate/ship of sushi for 4 people, so after another hour we no longer wanted to do the second round and therefore did NOT eat all you can eat... Since we took part in this twice, we had only ordered menus or for collection. Unfortunately, we had to wait more often, even if the lady on the phone said when we could come to pick it up. Unfortunately today was extremely... When we ordered, she said right away that it would take a good hour before we could pick it up because it was busy. But it wasn't a problem for us (again 4 people), so we accepted it. When we arrived the store was full of people waiting, none of whom had eaten yet. So we had to wait another hour in the store until we finally got our food.. Unfortunately, we then discovered that the prices had been increased but had not been updated online. In addition, one dish was wrong... Given the long waiting time, you could easily have gone to Wilhelmshaven or Oldenburg, which would have taken just as long... Very unfortunate..

Unfortunately, there were several deficiencies when visiting the restaurant. A drink we ordered was not served and the avocado in the sushi was overripe. There was a hair in one of the pieces of sushi. The waitress came to the table on her own initiative and asked if everything was OK. After describing the situation, she removed the hair with her finger and said it was “not hair” and that the sushi could still be eaten. Overall the visit was not satisfactory.

Very tasty sushi! I come from the Ruhr area and have often eaten Asian food in Düsseldorf, but nowhere is the price/performance ratio as good as here. A recommendation for anyone who likes Asian food

Hey! A really good Asian restaurant where you can eat well even if you don't like sushi. I ordered a baked chicken fillet with rice. This small town in Germany has a asia restaurant owned by a Vietnamese. The Thai food is delicious and close to the real Thai taste. There are many menus to choose from. The food is freshly cooked and the wait time is not long. The service is excellent. I can't miss it.

Went here with my girlfriend and it was really good. The sushi was delicious and the staff was very nice. The ambience is really nice and fits in with the rest.

Also highly recommended for vegans! We had "Green Curry" which was super tasty, nice spiciness and fresh vegetables. Top portion, beautifully prepared, simply great! As a starter we had edamame and miso soup. The edamame were nice and crunchy and the soup was well seasoned. The service was very friendly and attentive. Really highly recommended, we would love to come back! Vegans will also find what they are looking for here and get good, freshly cooked, very tasty food! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars for the food. In winter, I would recommend that the team install a vestibule curtain at the entrance so that guests do not feel drafts when the entrance door is opened frequently.

I am very sorry that I have to leave this review. I haven't eaten in a restaurant for three years because I didn't like the service at the table. Since then we have been ordering and picking up our food every now and then and have otherwise been satisfied. However, this is the fourth time I have had WARM SUSHI. Today it was so warm that the salmon was partially cooked. I now prefer to get my sushi from the Combi XL. Today we tried again and were extremely disappointed! No more attention is paid to the appearance of the sushi; sushi with cucumber contains a lot of cucumber peel. Disintegrated edge pieces. Plus you still can't pay by card. Apparently the device is always DEFECTIVE. ;)

I order sushi from this restaurant every two or three days When I entered the restaurant today, something worse happened to me There was a waitress at 11:40 on 04/12/2024 who is a bit fat (so everyone can recognize the woman immediately). She treated me really cheekily today. Her behavior was completely outrageous When I try to ask her, she immediately starts to get angry. I have the bill with me from that day I recommend the restaurant manager not to hire such employees or teach them how to behave I will never order food from this restaurant

The two of us had dinner there on Sunday evening. Drinks came after 20 minutes. Starter didn't come to the table at the same time, but almost 15 minutes apart. Despite arriving after us, the guests around us received their main course before us. After almost 2 hours of waiting, our sushi finally arrived. Food is ok, quality is good. However, service was a complete disaster!!!! And be careful, the prices on the menu are not the same as those charged at the checkout!!!! To-go may work, but you definitely don't need to eat there.

Restaurant with very tasteful interior design and a lot of choice on the menu including Chinese, Thai and Japanese. The portion size of the fried rice dish with duck for €12.90 is very generous. The seasoning and consistency of the fried rice was phenomenal, the best I've had so far. Vegetable content was good, as was the duck. The overall seasoning was very good. The green curry with duck with rice was very good. The menu stated the level of spiciness as spicy and in this case that was actually true. Many Chinese restaurants are actually relatively conservative when it comes to spiciness, adapted to German tastes, but the sheep here was spicier than what is usually served in Chinese restaurants. As someone who likes things spicy, this was very pleasing. The staff was very friendly. Waiting time until the food was served was about 13 to 15 minutes when the restaurant was about half full. Overall, highly recommended restaurant.

I ordered food and extra sweet and sour sauce. The noodles tasted like nothing. When I got home I called them when I noticed that the food wasn't tasty. The worst thing is that, firstly, no one there can really speak or understand German and secondly, some grannies serve you, so you wonder who crawled beforehand. The staff is unfriendly and walk around as if in mourning. Customer also not king. The boss didn't understand at all that I didn't like the food. They had also forgotten the sauce. Not possible at all!!!! I wasn't offered to replace the food and make it new. Money wasn't returned either. Instead, she came with arguments that the food wouldn't taste good. I discussed it for 10 minutes in front of the customers until I only got the new food once have. So customer loyalty is really something different. I wonder whether the other great reviews were bought or whether families wrote them????

By far the best Asian restaurant in Aurich. The food is fresh and there are large portions at a good price. When the weather is nice you can sit outside. The sushi is highly recommended!

I was taken here by some other German relatives. They enjoy going to this spot and I also found it very delicious. The menu had a huge range of food items: noodles, rice, curries, and sushi. The menu had pictures to go with the dishes, so it was easy to understand despite being mostly in German. I thought the prices were very reasonable, and the food quantity was rather large. They are dishes that could be shared with a group of people or eaten by yourself (Though my meal was too big for me and I took home left overs). The restaurant itself has a pleasant atmosphere. When we first entered the place was full and I thought we would have to wait (there was 6 of us), but then we were shown upstairs and there was a lot more seating for larger parties. There is also a little patio with a pleasant view of the city. Service was normal. There was only one lady for the top floor that was constantly going up and down the stairs for food and drinks. I don't think they spoke English there. I was looking forward to trying the Pad Thai, since that is something I have often at home. It tasted very similar and I was not disappointed. We had kids with us and they had some simple meals that were kid friendly (soup and Avocado rolls). And then we got fortune cookies at the end (they were in German as well).

Very good Asian snack. Diverse offer: Sushi, Chinese, Vietnamese, ...... We had completely different dishes. Everything was delicious. Decent portion sizes. Very friendly and attentive staff despite the immense activity. That's why it took a while until the food was ready. But considering the number of orders, that was completely ok. Location, facilities and toilets good. Definitely recommended.

The sushi is definitely recommended!! I love eating sushi and this is absolutely my favorite place! Price-performance ratio is perfectly fine The only thing that doesn't always go smoothly is the pickup time for pre-ordered food! But I'm happy to accept that!

Unfriendly conditions so we went to eat somewhere else

The food is very good, but unfortunately you still can't pay by card and the price-performance ratio isn't exactly the best. Such a small portion of sushi costs €16 with the new price increase and after 3 years there is still no card payment - just a cheek.

The food is great! In winter it is quite cold to sit downstairs. Take your jacket and enjoy sushi ☺️

I've eaten here several times and have always been very satisfied, but today I was very disappointed. The food was great but the service was really bad. The non-Asian service in particular was very unfriendly. It's a shame, hopefully this won't happen again next time because we actually really enjoy going to the Asian Wok.

Food tastes good, but the service is terrible. You order something in advance to pick it up and are given a time, you arrive and are told it will take a short moment. Then you make someone wait 45 minutes and are asked 3 times for the order number. Not again, thank you for that!

Hmm...the staff is super nice and friendly. The food tastes good, but not particularly tasty. The vegetables used are too coarsely chopped to be interesting for an Asian restaurant. Furthermore, the vegetables were still almost raw. Just briefly tossed it through the wok. The food came to the table almost cold. The hot plates didn't help either. The atmosphere is too rustic for Asia. It was nice to try, but unfortunately it won't be my favorite restaurant.

Hallo am liebsten würde ich null Sterne geben,aber das ist ja leider nicht möglich. Nachdem wir an unserem Tisch saßen und Getränke bestellt hatten fing es an. Kaffee war nur lau warm hatten nach Zucker gefragt und wurden nur blöd angeguckt. Keine 2 min nach dem wir die Getränke hatten wurde gefragt was wir essen wollen (in einem unhöflichen ton). Da wir nach 2 min die Karte noch nicht studiert hatten sagten wir freundlich das wir noch Zeit bräuchten. Wieder 2 min später und das finde ich persönlich frech. Weißt du nun was du essen willst! Du? Nein Sie heißt es! Naja essen bestellt und da wurde uns die karte aus der hand gerissen, freundlichen gruß der fingernagel der meine haut an meinen finger weg gerissen hat tut weh. Lange nägel lebensmittel ein no go, und was war wie erwartet schmeckte nicht. Die neben uns saßen waren auch nicht begeistert und so ließen wir und die anderen die Hälfte zurück geben und sind gegangen. Mal ein Lächeln aufsetzten und freundlich sprechen hätte vieles weg gemacht.

Jedes mal wieder ein Genuss dort zu essen. Preis-/Leistungsverhälnis ist sensationell!

Leider ein sehr hektisches Essen geworden durch die Kellnerin. Essen an sich war jetzt auch nicht besonders gut (Nr 44).

Sehr gute asiatische Küche. Gemütliches Restaurant auf 2 Etagen, haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt, Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Sehr nettes Team. Sind bestimmt nicht das Letzte mal dort gewesen.

Am letzten Samstag waren wir zum Mittagessen im Restsurant Asia WOK. Wir sind immer noch total begeistert und kommen auf jedenfalls wieder. Eine große Auswahl an Thai Gerichten, sowie Sushi und aus der Chonesischen Küche erwarten euch. Der Service war super und sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente und das Geschirr sollte hier auch als sehr positiv genannt werden.

Essen eigentlich ganz gut aber 55 Minuten auf sein Essen warten geht gar nicht. War auch leider nicht das erste Mal. Werden da wenn überhaupt nur noch zum Abholen bestellen.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Leider ist das Ambiente im Restaurant nicht besonders. Ist eher ein Imbiss, als ein Restaurant. Die Verweildauer fokussiert sich leider nur auf die Nahrungsaufnahme, mangels Aufenthaltsqualität. 16.12.2023 Wir waren nun wiederholt dort und ich kann meine erste Rezension aufwerten. Das Ambiente ist zwar immer noch nicht wirklich gut, aber das Essen wirklich sehr gut und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein sehr sehr schön eingerichtetes Restaurant! Wahnsinnig gemütlich. Das Essen schmeckte großartig und hat mich und meine Begleiter restlos überzeugt! Freundliches Personal, jedoch eine etwas längere Wartezeit, welche dem unfassbar leckeren Essen keine abklang tat!

Wir sind ungeplant dort gelandet und sind mit wunderbaren, leckerem Essen verwöhnt worden. Die Vorsuppe war die BESTE, die wir je gegessen haben!!! Wir werden auf jedenfall wieder kommen! Auch wenn wir 45 Minuten dafür fahren müssen.

Mich überraschen die negativen Bewertungen. Wir habe dort vor der Schließung mehrfach gegessen und haben jetzt während des Lockdowns mehrfach Essen bestellt und abgeholt. Das Essen war jedes Mal hervorragend, die Abholung verlief einwandfrei und auch die Hygiene kann man nicht besser hinbekommen. Wir bleiben gerne weiterhin Ihre Kunden, weiter so! Update November 2023 Wir sind immer noch sehr zufrieden und essen dort sehr gern.

Verrassend leuk Aziatisch restaurant met smaakvolle gerechten uit de Japanse, Thaise en Chinese keuken. Beslist een bezoek waard. De inrichting ziet op het eerste gezicht wat spartaans uit maar het heeft toch wat erg van enkele restaurants in Peking waar ik ooit geweest ben. Lekkere gerechten en vriendelijke en gastvrije personeel.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal da . Sehr schön von innen . Sehr nett Sehr lecker . Portionen mehr als genug. Und Preiswert . Gerne wieder .
