Asia Wok in Plochingen

I really enjoyed the food; everything was delicious. Today I ordered Tom Yam – it was truly delicious. I'll definitely come back to try something different.

More of an Asian snack bar than a restaurant. The sauces have been watered down for years. To enjoy the sweet and sour flavor, you can add the pre-made sauce at the table. It tastes good, though. The peanut sauce is very diluted and salty. Duck and chicken are heated from frozen in the deep fryer. While it's crispy, it's often dry. The vegetables give me the impression of being fresh. Complaints can sometimes be an adventure, especially when there's a lack of insight.

Update as of June 2025. After about 50 satisfied visits, unfortunately, it has turned into a total disaster. Apparently, there's a communication problem here. No matter what you say, you get nods and smiles followed by a "Yes, yes." But if you want to ask something about the dish, they simply turn around and leave. Either it's the German language, or they don't care about customer satisfaction. If you've ordered the same dish 50 times and it's always been good, and then from one day to the next you're served rotten vegetables, you have to ask yourself whether it's a temporary problem or intentional. When I asked why my vegetables had black spots on the raw surface, the waitress went into the kitchen without comment, and the manager came out. Another attempt to explain the situation, the manager turns around and goes into the kitchen. A waitress comes out with a bucket of frozen vegetables, opens the lid, and tells me the quality is top-notch. Well, if it wasn't the produce, then why is my broccoli covered in black spots? The waitress turns around and goes into the kitchen. The manager comes out again and simply says, "Reacts with garlic when frying." A grin says nothing about whether you're respected as a paying customer, but the way you're treated does. The fact that they have fresh food there, but they intentionally serve you spoiled food, unfortunately, indicates that it's intentional. For some reason, they don't want me as a paying customer anymore, I get it. I don't give them a positive rating; hygiene and friendliness should be paramount.

Never again! Worst Asian restaurant I've ever visited. Unfriendly service, overpriced food (€9 for noodles with meat and an extra €2.50 for sweet and sour sauce!), and terrible taste. The meat was simply disgusting. And then there was a broken plate that took away my last appetite. An absolute disaster!

Very nice ladies ! That is also the reason for the 3 stars. Ordered fried noodles with breaded chicken. The noodles were rather tasteless and the breaded chicken... girls, what was that?! A kind of “breading” that was horrible and about 2cm thick.

The duck I ordered was pre-fried and therefore too dry. Anyone who has ever eaten a good, juicy duck knows the difference. It wasn't fun. The sauce was over-seasoned and tasted strongly of flavor enhancers. I didn't finish the portion.

In terms of taste, it was okay, but unfortunately it was a bit overcrowded and you had to wait a long time until you got a table without a reservation. Unfortunately, we didn't order drinks a second time, even after speaking to the staff and they didn't take action straight away.

I go there regularly, actually already a regular customer. Very good selection and the dishes are always freshly prepared. Above all, I don't even want to start talking about how nice the owners are.

Several wrong dishes are delivered and no insight is shown or the money is paid back because there is no boss who always comes back in 2 months at the earliest and who you cannot reach at all, not by email or somehow by phone How old are you? If you want to eat exactly what you order, you should avoid this shop

My wife and I have now ordered from the Asia Wok for the third time. Number 10.40 and number 5 for 23 euros - great value for money. Ordering over the phone was easy - very nice. Takes 10 minutes, then you can pick up the food. And so it was. Very nice welcome in the restaurant and the food was great. I can recommend the restaurant and food with a clear conscience. Really great place! The owner is really nice, the food is really good and it has a nice interior to the restaurant as well as a patio that faces Plochingen in the spring and summer. Prices are really reasonable as well. I've tried a number of different dishes here and haven't had a bad experience!

You order without onions, they say there are no onions in it and then everything is full of onions.

The tenants cannot do anything about the ambience around the restaurant; the city of Plochingen, which is responsible for the infrastructural community, must definitely take action here. No one dares go into the pedestrian zone after dark, which is a shame because the Hundertwasserhaus is something very special. The town center has a lot of potential, the city of Plochingen has to take action, elections are coming up, so tackle it and don't "carry on as before".

Service very unfriendly, inattentive. The soup was completely over salted, so I had to return it. No excuse, no substitute. The fried noodles with chicken were okay, but every Asian snack bar can do that.

Food is good. The only thing missing is the radio, because the silence there is terrible.

It's okay sometimes good things are less good. If I rate it from 1-5 I would give it a 2.6

Unser "Hausasiate" 😁 schmeckt immer gut sauber gepflegt nur am Ambiente müssten die Besitzer etwas ändern die Holzstühle und Bänke sind sehr unbequem lange sitzen ist ein wenig unangenehm (vielleicht so gewollt???) Mehr Wärme und bitte vielleicht bei den WC etwas Hygiene mehr ... Aber das Essen ist vollkommen okay

Bestes Asia Essen in der Umgebung, einfach supergut. Ich esse dort einmal in der Woche-abwechselnd die Nummer 12 und Nummer 16 !

Das Lokal liegt direkt neben dem malerischen Plochinger Hundertwasserhaus. Die Einrichtung entspricht der einer Schnellgaststätte, einfach, praktisch, pflegeleicht. Lädt nicht zu einem längeren Aufenthalt ein. Nette, freundliche Bedienung fragt kaum dass man sitzt nach dem Getränkewunsch (was ich nicht so gerne mag). Das Hauptgericht wird schon serviert, bevor man Die Suppe ausgelöffelt hat. Für Schnellesser sicher angenehm, aber ich gehöre halt nicht dazu. Vorab bestellte ich eine Wantansuppe (4,00 €). Die sah sehr lecker aus und schmeckte auch so. Als Hauptgericht orderte ich Panäng Ped (13,00 €), ein thailändisches Entengericht in Kokosmilch und spezieller Thai-Curry-Mischung, sehr pikant, schmeckte gut mit dem dazu gereichten Basmatireis, leider aber mit Zutat 3 Geschmacksverstärker. Ein Weissbier mundete dazu gut.

Wok Asia Plochingen, wo soll ich anfangen? Dieses Restaurant ist eine absolute Katastrophe! Das Essen schmeckt nach nichts und ist von minderwertiger Qualität. Die Hygiene lässt zu wünschen übrig, und ich möchte nicht einmal wissen, was sich wirklich in den Gerichten verbirgt. Das Personal ist unfreundlich und inkompetent, und der Service ist eine einzige Enttäuschung. Ehrlich gesagt, würde ich lieber meinen Hunger behalten, als jemals wieder in dieses schreckliche Lokal zu gehen. Meide es um jeden Preis, es sei denn, du stehst auf geschmacklose und zweifelhafte Speisen mit einem Hauch von schlechtem Service.

Einfach und schlicht gestaltet der Laden, übersichtliche modular aufgebaute Speisekarte, günstige Preise und ganz ordentlicher Geschmack.

Liebe Freunde der asiatischen Küche, Ich war vor Kurzem im Asia Wok in Plochingen und ich muss sagen, dass ich von dem Restaurant sehr beeindruckt bin. Das Essen war fantastisch und die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Als ich das Restaurant betrat, wurde ich von einem angenehmen Duft von verschiedenen Gewürzen und Gerichten empfangen, die mein Interesse geweckt haben. Nun zum Wichtigsten: Das Essen. Ich bestellte das Pad Thai mit Garnelen und es war unglaublich lecker. Das Gericht war perfekt gewürzt und die Garnelen waren frisch und saftig. Auch die Portion war sehr großzügig und ich war froh, dass ich den Rest einpacken lassen konnte, um ihn später zu genießen. Was mir besonders gefallen hat, war die Vielfalt der Gerichte auf der Speisekarte. Es gab eine große Auswahl an verschiedenen Gerichten aus verschiedenen Ländern Asiens, die alle sehr lecker klangen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, um noch mehr auszuprobieren. Was den Preis betrifft, war ich sehr angenehm überrascht. Das Essen war nicht nur lecker, sondern auch erschwinglich. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass ich für meine Mahlzeit einen sehr guten Wert bekommen habe. Insgesamt kann ich das Asia Wok in Plochingen wärmstens empfehlen. Das Essen war fantastisch, die Bedienung war großartig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war unschlagbar. Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach einer authentischen asiatischen Küche sind, dann ist dies definitiv der richtige Ort für Sie. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team des Asia Wok in Plochingen für die großartige Erfahrung und das leckere Essen. Ich freue mich schon darauf, bald wiederzukommen.

Am zweiten Tag wurde mir das falsche Essen gegeben. Das Essen ist gut aber die Konzentration lässt zu wünschen übrig. Ich musste vom Hotel zurück fahren und hatte den Reis im Hotelzimmer gelassen. Ich bekam das richtige Essen aber obwohl ich darum gebeten hatte, keinen neuen Reis. Als ich im Hotel ankam war der Reis kalt. Ich komme nicht wieder.

Solides, sauberes Restaurant, ansehnliches Ambiente. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Es gab eine grosse Auswahl an Speisen. Nach der Bestellung kam das Essen zügig. Es war etwas überdimensioniert mit Sojabohnen-Keimlingen. Die Portion war sehr gross. Der Geschmack war durchschnittlich. Die Preise sind eher im niedrigen Segment. Preis/Leistung ist angemessen.

Große Portion zum anständigen Preis. Geschmacklich bekommt man was wann bezahlt. Doch eher für den Durchgangsverkehr geeignet.

Leider war das Essen nicht gut. Die Pekingsuppe war nicht genießbar, unterirdisch...viel zu überwürtzt. Auch das Hauptgericht war mässig genießbar. Zwar etwas besser als die Suppe, dennoch nicht gut. Ich bin normalerweise unkritisch beim Essen, aber das war nicht gut. Auch das Restaurant ist nicht gemütlich und wenig einladend. Der Preis ist sehr günstig, wenn das aber dann derart die Qualität mindert, dann lieber gar nicht.

Preis Leistung stimmt nicht hat leider nicht meinen Geschmack getroffen.

Na ja seit Jahren Neueröffnung, 15 Jahre gleicher Pächter. Etwas Unfreundlich ein Gericht mit Steinpilzen bestellt und Champinons bekommen, auf meine frage wo denn hier die Steinpilze währen verwies man mich darauf hin die Champinon währen genau so gut. Für mich ganz klar betrug nie wieder
