ÁRO in Münster

One star is actually too many because unfortunately I couldn't try anything... I stopped at Áro on the way to work at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday to grab my lunch. When I opened the door, an employee simply told me that it wasn't open yet and that they wouldn't open for "about 10 to 20 minutes" - although according to the website they open at 11:30 a.m. Since I had to be at work at 12 p.m., I had no choice but to leave the restaurant without eating and therefore drive to work without eating. It's a shame, because I've only heard good things about the food, but the service doesn't seem to be trying very hard. If you don't stick to your own opening times, it would be desirable that you at least adjust them online...

I enjoy the creative combination of different ingredients. Every meal is an individual experience.

I eat this stuff every time I'm in town! Actually a simple concept but simply outstanding every time thanks to the large selection of toppings, meat and alternatives. Prices are also completely justified!

I ordered a rice bowl with chicken satay based on a recommendation and I fell in love. Something delicious. The bowl also completely fills you up. We didn't finish everything and took the rest with us :) A large selection of vegan food

I recently visited the Aro Essen location for the second time. At first I was worried that it would be somehow strange to go out to eat alone (I was alone in Münster for an appointment) but this worry was definitely unnecessary. :) We were three single people who ate lunch there at the same time and no one was looked at strangely. When I arrived there was a small queue, so one of Gustav Grün came over to help so that we didn't have to wait so long. 👍 Delicious, diverse selection of vegetarian and vegan options. The portion was very large and what you couldn't manage you could pack away. Thank you for the great experience eating out alone for the first time :) I'll definitely come by again at the next appointment in December.

The food is extremely tasty and both the selection of toppings and the portions themselves are very large. I had the rest packed up and was full twice from one portion. Price-performance ratio is right!

Delicious bowls in a variety of combinations. In my opinion it's more for take-away. There are a few tables, but the atmosphere is rather simple.

For the first time at ARO I can only agree with the good reviews. Delicious and great value for money.

A place that revitalizes the senses and lets them shine with daring combinations (which you choose yourself). This shop surrounds people and moves like a Mozart melody - beautiful and yet determined in its execution.

The menu here is pleasingly vegan and always fresh. The so-called “specials” make a creative impression and can be combined with the toppings (including seaweed, chickpeas, edamame, mango, avocado, kimchi, beetroot, peppers, broccoli, etc.) to create countless variations. This high level of customization naturally goes hand in hand with a high need for advice, so you have to wait a minute or two. The team, which seems to change frequently, does the rest. I also remembered the price being cheaper than around €10. Why there is still meat on the menu here is a mystery to me. Apart from the slight weaknesses in the concept and service, I still enjoy coming here and go home feeling like I've eaten something reasonably healthy.

Everyone will find something suitable here and it never gets boring :)

Started strong, but also slowed down a lot. I could still ignore the lack of friendliness and bad mood of the employees, but at least when I was asked by the card reader “Would you like to leave a tip?” I thought: what happened to good old Aro? The portions? Shrinking despite demand for more rice. The price? Increased to more than €10 for the smaller portion compared to previous years. And then maximum savings are made on the topping. If you purchase >20€ you should also pay for the paper bag for collection. Yakitori and satay have also deteriorated in taste, along with overcooked basmati rice that gets lost in the whirlpool of vegetables that have been left out for too long. The quality and experience from back then seems to be spread across the three stores. Maybe we were unlucky with the staff - I'll eat a kebab next time.

Super nice staff, especially when you're there for the first time, they explain the concept to you in a very friendly manner. The nice lady with the tattoo (crocodile) on her arm recommended the teriyaki beef to me and I wasn't disappointed. I will definitely come back.

What a nice thing this is! Beautiful and original furnishings. Very friendly and helpful staff. It took some getting used to, all those steps and choices, but the ladies behind the counter explained everything very patiently. It wasn't until we were eating that we noticed that we hadn't ordered real meat. Tip to the owner: don't call meat substitutes CHICKEN green curry or BEEF yakitori. Only the V on the menu shows that it is not meat. That's confusing, especially when you have so many choices to make. Nothing but praise. Es war sehr lecker, die Portion mehr als ausreichend. Die Auswahl an toppings, sowie die Empfehlungen wie man seine Bowl kreieren kann, sind toll. Auch das das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super. Am Tisch sind kleine Kärtchen, man kann während man isst oder nach dem Essen sich gegenseitig die Fragen vorlesen und tolle Gespräche führen. 🫶🏼

Sehr schönes, modernes Restaurant und tolle Auswahl an Toppings. Wichtig anzumerken ist, dass es nur Kartenzahlung gibt, was für mich aber kein Problem ist. Ich kann es weiterempfehlen!

War super lecker, reichhaltige Portionen, nettes freundliches Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Die Getränke Auswahl mal was ganz neues, kein Vergleich zu jeglicher Konkurrenz. Alle Zutaten super frisch es wir sehr viel selbst eingelegt und mariniert. Ein Laden mit Zukunft, für jeden was dabei für Veganer Vegetarier und Fleisch esser. Das eins von mir bezeichnete HIPSTER essen hat mich absolut überzeugt. Danke für diese tolle Erfahrung macht weiter so!!!

Unfassbar leckere und frische Bowl. Lieblingsladen in ganz Münster, bin jede Woche mehrfach hier. Zudem tolles Ambiente und immer ein freundlicher, zuverlässiger Service.

Dadurch, dass man sich die Bowls komplett selbst zusammenstellen kann, entdeckt man immer neue Kreationen weswegen man bei jedem Besuch etwas anderes isst. Die veganen Specials sind auch sehr lecker und die Topping qualitativ sehr gut. Von einer Bowl werde ich schon satt, weswegen der Preis für mich sehr fair ist.
