Arena Imbiss in Hamburg

We advise against eating doner or durum there. They are among the worst and most expensive durum we've ever eaten. The meat was rubbery and tasted of nothing, the salad and sauces were terrible. Everything was carelessly done... You definitely can't sit in there. It stinks really badly of smoke and grease; I've rarely entered a diner with such poor ventilation. Two days later, my parents-in-law ordered two doner kebabs without meat (they didn't have any falafel anymore). It was just two flatbreads with a bit of salad and sauce, plus two small mineral waters - €23. Well, I rarely rate restaurants unless they're really good or really bad. And unfortunately, this one was really bad.

Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The meat tasted artificial and dry, and the portion was small compared to the price. The bread was stale, and overall it lacked flavor. Service was fast, but when the food is bad, speed doesn't matter much. Not coming back.

If we could have given 0 stars it would have been justified. Meat without spices. Spicy without us saying it. The money was wasted 😔 we've never had such a bad kebab before. Miserable. For €9.20 per Lamacun it was the last dirt, the last rubbish!!!

All in all a good shop. I've been going there for years and the staff are always nice and you immediately feel very welcome and well served.

I ate there, and it tasted really good until I left the store. I immediately felt sick and almost puked. I'm going home and we'll see what happens (I'm still feeling sick).
