Staff very unfriendly and incompetent

It's ok. But not anymore. The quality of the food was below average and the offerings were a bit unusual for an Italian restaurant. I liked the atmosphere (a bit industrial style). Service quick and professional, but not warm. The price is clearly too high for the quality offered. But you can definitely stop by if you're hungry and are right in the city. But of course there are plenty of better alternatives within a 5-minute walk, at least for my personal taste.

Great young team and food. Unfortunately not vegan enough for me - especially not a vegan dessert. But otherwise great. Some chairs could urgently be replaced - some of them are very wobbly. Also worth a visit with children. Unfortunately the brunch price has (quietly and secretly) changed from around €20 to around €25. We would have liked a little more transparency. The price is still completely reasonable for the large selection. There's always something new and always special cards according to the season. As a “member” you also regularly receive great special discounts/promotions.

Despite brunch, we were allowed to eat a la carte for lunch. It was very tasty👍🏼🙂😋 and a voucher I won could be redeemed despite the brunch. Thank you🤩

We've been to the Aposto twice recently and are now a bit conflicted. On our first visit we made a reservation, were greeted in a friendly manner and served in a relaxed manner. The food was good and so was the overall experience. We had a NeoTaste voucher, which was acknowledged but ultimately not credited. Since we didn't take any receipt with us, we couldn't clarify this afterwards - it's a shame, but it can happen. On our second visit, this time without a reservation, the atmosphere was much more hectic. Even though the restaurant wasn't full, you felt like you had to hurry. What particularly stood out were the drinks: they were all very ice-heavy. If you order them without ice, you will receive them in much smaller glasses (whiskey glass). We had pizza and pasta. You can order the pizza half and half - we had salami and Goa, both were very good. The base is thin, crispy, produces nice bubbles and tastes pleasantly yeasty. The pasta, on the other hand, impressed us significantly less. The vegan Bolognese tasted ok thanks to the minced meat alternative, but the ragù itself was very watery and fatty. The Carbonara had little resemblance to the classic, but this is already indicated by the menu. In terms of taste, it tasted very much like vegetable broth. It was garnished with two crispy strips of bacon, and the carbonara itself contained a few rather limp and barely fried strips. In both cases the linguine was badly broken and clearly overcooked, so unfortunately not al dente. The atmosphere is modern and appealing. Unfortunately, the floor of the men's toilet was very sticky when we visited. Overall, we can only recommend the Aposto to a limited extent - especially for pizza, which is really good. In our opinion, there is clearly room for improvement when it comes to pasta and the service experience. (Current menu: April 2025)

Weird restaurant, they hold back their good tables and want to seat a single person in the uncomfortable corner. But then at an identical table to the one in the front area. The other table was not reserved. Just to bully. Unfortunately it was the last time I ate here…

The food seemed like it was thrown together according to a blueprint - without knowing anything about cooking or eating. Despite lots of building blocks, it didn't taste like anything. Garlic was missing, whole slices of ham from the package were put on the pasta, I've never seen that before either. The table (outside) was dirty and sticky. The service was friendly, cheerful and nice.

Best pizza in a long time...It's rare to find pizza with a good base, here they know how it's made. We sell pieces outside to take away and are briefly baked fresh in the oven. Very tasty as a snack! Recommendation!

We were recommended the Aposto and went to the restaurant without any expectations. I had reserved a table for two 4 days in advance and entered “romantic diner” as a comment. The reservation was made via OpenTable, which is used by many restaurants. When we arrived we were initially ignored, but we waited decently at the entrance. Two waiters told us several times that they would have time soon. The restaurant was 50% full at that time (Wednesday 7 p.m.). After 15 minutes we were courted twice across the restaurant before we parked at one of the countless tables marked as “reserved” near the entrance. Due to its location, the table lacked any “romantic diner” flair. My objection was dismissed with the comment that there were no other free tables. As I said, about 50% of all tables said “Reserved”. However, this is without a time or name, as other restaurants do. During the ordering process, several competent recommendations guided us to the desired result. In this respect we were given the best advice. Unfortunately, a pizza was forgotten when the order was taken, so it had to be requested later. The starter was bruschetta and the main courses were Glückskugel and die Arsonist Pizza. There is not the slightest criticism of the quality of the starters and main courses. Everything just tasted great. The main point of criticism is the guest room Such. Due to the architectural conditions, it is probably very difficult to give the whole thing a little more noise insulation and so it has more of the feel of a train station hall. It is extremely loud and very shrill. At around 8:30 p.m. the occupancy rate was around 60-70%.

It was a beautiful evening. It's a bit noisy and has poor acoustics. But the friendly staff makes up for it.

Hands off! We went there for lunch today and I had heartburn. The furniture is very worn, the toys in the children's corner have been around for years, some of them are already broken. I'm never going there again.

In my opinion, Aposto has the best Sunday brunch with the best selection between classic rolls and toppings, salads, Italian delicacies such as bruschetta and warm dishes. Great value for money. All pizzas and pasta dishes have always been excellent. The waitresses are very friendly and relaxed. In the middle of the city, and always worth a visit, whether for breakfast, coffee or cocktails or dinner. Being part of the Aposto community is worth it, there are always vouchers or surprises. Keep it up, you're a great restaurant!

We often and have enjoyed eating at Aposto, but only in advance. So far we have always been satisfied, the service is always great and the staff are very nice. We had made reservations for today a few days in advance (because it's Valentine's Day). The restaurant was apparently fully booked. We were seated directly in the entrance area, next to the entrance door, which was only open after we informed us that it was at least closed. One of the doors was apparently broken and was constantly open, so we had to keep getting up to avoid freezing. It was -2 degrees outside, you sit on the train the whole time and you'll be lucky if you get away without a cold. In our opinion, the places cannot be occupied in winter, it is simply incredibly cold. The meal took an unusually long time, so we had to wait for three quarters of an hour. We are really very disappointed and will think three times about coming here in the future (or only in the summer).

Typical Italian pizza that tastes exceptionally good.

The campaign with the raffle tickets (sealed envelopes) that we received at dinner in December was the biggest failure of the year. Since I'm fundamentally curious, I was looking forward to another visit to the Aposto. The prize was a drink, but of course not for the children as they are under 18. Then why had we been given an envelope for her in December? There was a drink in all 4 envelopes, but now we already had a drink in front of us. So there is no bigger customer catch. We won't come back. The waiter was rude even before the change, the food was mediocre. Too bad. Nice location, but that's about it.

Modern restaurant, with pizza, pasta & Co. We liked the atmosphere, the food was very good. There were pizza rolls filled with spinach, spaghetti carbonara, salmon with rosemary potatoes... Service was quick, nice, funny... we liked it.

I had dinner there yesterday with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday. She had received a birthday voucher from the restaurant, which of course we wanted to redeem on her birthday. I pointed this out when paying - and was dealt with extremely annoyed and rude. Instead of a friendly clarification, they just said that you had to say this in advance, and as a result, only one main course was deducted, even though the voucher also said a drink was included. As a regular guest, this was definitely my last visit. The food was good as always, but the service, from which one doesn't expect much in Germany anyway, managed to undercut this low expectation.

A good priced restaurant for this region. It's a bit noisy here and it was drafty where we were sitting, but that's ok. The size of the pizza is quite impressive. But if the food arrives lukewarm, it will be cold halfway through. The amount of toppings on the salami pizza were also not what we are used to. The cook must have had light hair. 2 of them were on the pizza. It's a shame actually.

The carbonara just wasn't good - and wasn't actually carbonara, more like pasta with a bag of sauce. Very disappointing and then again for the price. The pizza was ok, service was very friendly. In the restaurant it is also very, very loud, even at the edge.

Left after 15 minutes without service and without any contact. But at least one employee stood next to my table and put out his cigarette at my table after smoking. Unfortunately disappointing.

We were there today with a large group. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Waited over 1.5 hours for the food and you're hungry. The waitresses are unfriendly and give rude answers. The prices for grilled vegetables and salmon are 5 euros each and the portions are much too expensive. The service was overloaded, the waiter was the only one who was nice and made an effort. But the waitresses, that's just impossible. If you don't have capacity, you are NOT allowed to accept such a reservation or you have to block the other tables. The food was really delicious. Just that and the waiting time and cheeky answers... I'd rather go somewhere else. It was great at the Augustinus, great service, great food...the service was super friendly and the chemistry was right. But here... we won't come a second time.

The two of us went to brunch today... I had specifically written in the reservation that I didn't want to sit in the foyer - unfortunately we were seated exactly there. When I asked why my request had not been responded to, the only answer was that we had reserved too late and everything inside was already booked. I would have liked a short answer in advance because my request could not be followed. Too bad but okay. The service was nice and friendly... unfortunately the coffee that was ordered was only lukewarm every time. Warm food, some of it cold...

The restaurant has a very good selection of delicious dishes. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. Unfortunately the atmosphere wasn't quite ideal because it was very loud and the tables were too close together.

Really good! We were there on New Year's Eve and it was really crowded. But the employees are super fast and friendly, despite the many people. The food was very tasty and we will definitely come back again! PS: it's nice to have such a diverse and friendly staff.

Very extensive, all extremely tasty buffets for all tastes and mostly very attentive, considerate staff. That's why 4 stars despite the atmospheric atmosphere and some completely worn-out seating.

Long wait for food, we only had a sheet, later we added other things too... incredible stench in the women's toilet.

No heart for children. Today I and my grandchildren were looking for shelter from the rain and a place to sit where they could eat their treats. Not a single space was needed by guests. After a short while, an employee came to us and asked us to leave. My request whether the children could finish their apple was rejected clearly and unfriendly, almost angrily. I am horrified by this coldness of heart. I know things differently from Italy, where children are treated with great friendliness and warmth.

We went to Aposto for brunch on a Sunday and there was nothing major to complain about. There is a large selection of hot and cold dishes. There is something for everyone. What's a little stupid is that almost every hot meal had meat in it somehow. Even as a non-militant vegetarian, I sometimes think that you don't have to sneak sausage into every meal 😂 Due to the size of the store, it got very loud at times. The waitress was also difficult to catch, which meant (perhaps a good thing) that we drank less than we might have. After an hour, some parts of the buffet also looked as if a storm had swept through. Therefore not full marks.

We had brunch for the first time today. The vegan selection was very sobering. Unfortunately there were no descriptions of the pans, only a board at the entrance area where you couldn't tell whether a dish was at least vegetarian. There was also no oat milk for the coffee drinks. Very unfortunate.

We waited over an hour for our food, since it was very full, that's understandable to a large extent, but after that time it wasn't any fun anymore. The waitresses don't have time to care because there are far too few staff for the large area, so we were able to order exactly one drink and weren't asked about it again. A question is thrown at you as you run past, but the condition also gives itself the answer directly and continues running. The quality of the food has declined significantly in recent years. We used to enjoy going there and will avoid it in the future.

Service was good at the beginning, later when the place got fuller the service was miserable, there was no service for ages and with a group of over 30 people, that's not correct. Definitely won't come again...

It was our first time there to throw cocktails and the cocktails were amazing. We then visited the restaurant a second time and I can only warmly recommend the pizzas. The staff is also friendly, only on the second visit the service took a long time to reorder.

We were there for brunch with 8 people and everyone really enjoyed it. The food was consistently good to very good (everyone has different tastes), and it was always refilled if something was out. The service was also great. Would love to come back.

I wanted to take my son out for pizza for lunch on October 4th for his 20th birthday. When we entered the restaurant, all the tables were empty with reserved signs on them. When I asked the lady with a pigtail and orange hair behind the counter if a table was available, she pointed angrily at the empty tables... Well, it was so that people wouldn't just sit down. Then the pizzas came quite quickly, but uncut. You have to say that beforehand. Then, mercifully, he cut the pizzas. The waiter that day tried to make up for the unfriendliness of the lady at the counter. However, an uneasy mood remained. Not understandable, especially since the restaurant was almost empty the whole time. Of course there was no tip. I don't understand staff like the lady, in times when they supposedly fight for every guest and the prices aren't exactly cheap either.

The pizza was very tasty, it's cool that you can have half of it topped differently. If you want something quiet and comfortable, this isn't the right place for you.

Almost all tables were reserved, we were seated at one of them. I had penne and was disappointed with the dish.
