The food is worst and the manager too!!! He said he will fine me 10 euro if I drink water from my personal water bottle but I need to order water !!! My mother is 60+ age and she also felt very bad the way he behaved with her

Very tasty food, adapted to European “tastes” but also with Indian spiciness if desired and agreed upon. The food is really tasty and plentiful. The meat is buttery tender. Reasonably priced. We were too far, had a starter and a main course, wine, water and beer and ended up with just over 90 euros. So completely within the framework. The friendly, familiar, attentive and courteous staff is also positive. We would love to come back. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant is almost constantly full (for good reason).

Worst Indian food I tasted in Germany!!!! We ordered Chilli Chicken and a Lamb Curry, and both were terrible. The chicken tasted off, almost as if it was rotten and didn't even tasted like a chilli chicken, and the lamb was cooked with a strange flavor that made it impossible to eat. We ended up leaving most of it untouched. We also ordered Naan, but I think we got something closer to Roti, and it was quite small. The prices were far higher than other Indian restaurants, but the quality was far below any I’ve experienced. The waiting time was also disappointing; it took over half an hour just to get a mango lassi, which, surprisingly, was the only thing that tasted decent. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Indian food. Restaurants like this give a poor impression of Indian cuisine, when there are so many others serving truly good food. If possible I would have given 0/10 star.

Unfortunately disappointing experience. The food was completely unsalted and disappointed us in terms of taste. Of course you can add a little more salt if necessary, but there was basically no salt here - there was no salt at all in the rice, curry or naan bread. Unfortunately, when I called the restaurant to clarify this, the lady on the phone was very unfriendly and unreasonable. I could hardly get a word in edgewise as she constantly interrupted me and didn't take our complaint seriously. Instead, it was emphasized that the restaurant was always full and there were no other complaints. That was very unfriendly to customers because they simply didn't want to admit the mistake. In addition, we had to pay an extra €3 for packaging for an order of €88. Better customer communication and understanding of guests' concerns would be desirable!

I have to say that I felt very comfortable. The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly. There is only one small point of criticism, unfortunately the naan bread was cold. We will definitely come back. We've gone there several times now. The naan bread is now warm, which I think is great. Unfortunately, the little greeting in advance was not included last time. The delicious 3 sauces with the crispy dough were always a little highlight for us. Very unfortunate

Worst Indian restaurant I've ever been too! The food taste horrible, we had a butter chicken that tasted burned (how is that even possible?) a palak lamb which was a 4/10 at best, the veggies pakora which were an insult to pakoras (thick tasteless chickpea flour batter over a Brocoli florette? Wtf! Oh and don't forget the saddest naan you'll ever taste. All that nasty food was way too overpriced as well, two saucy dishes, pakoras and a naan for 57.60 euros! Biggest rip-off I've seen in Germany. And to add insult to injuries they only take GeoCard credit cards... Meaning that if you don't have a German bank carb you're out of luck! My feeling told me right away this feels like a non authentic indian, I should have listened to it and left before ordering! I have no idea why this has so many positive reviews. TLDR, if you like Indian food and no getting rip off, choose another restaurant. 0/10 would recommend.

This was my third time at Annapurna Koblenz and it was once again a great evening. Everything just fits here. The service is great and very accommodating. You immediately feel welcome. The food was also excellent again. This time I had a vegetarian dish which I really enjoyed. The question about spiciness was also spot on. I didn't want it so spicy and that's how it was served. We had a great evening and will be back soon. A great Indian restaurant in Koblenz and highly recommended.

AN ORDER: We ordered takeaway over the phone today. I was told on the phone that the earliest I could pick up the food was 45 minutes. I came into the restaurant at the agreed time and was greeted questioningly. My name didn't mean anything to him and the gentleman couldn't remember my order either. The boss rushed to the kitchen and quickly passed my order to the kitchen. ORDER/PAYMENT: I waited 10 minutes and then had to pay. 38€ for 2 curries. Pretty steep, but okay... Maybe it's worth the money, I thought. I WAS WRONG. I gave the restaurant owner €52 and said I would like €10 back. He smiled, pocketed the money and picked up my food from the kitchen. I had to say again that I would please get my €10 back. He apologized and said goodbye. EAT: As soon as I got home, we were looking forward to dinner. The curry had as much flavor as it had color. ZERO. A simple roux with simmered cream would have had more flavor. I couldn't finish the food. I eat Indian food regularly, but I've never eaten so badly. My partner's food was bathed in oil and still barely tasted like anything. By the way, I had a chicken korma and she had a chicken chana masalla. It looks really cute inside and the conversation volume is very pleasantly quiet.

We went to Annapurna on a Monday evening, our wedding anniversary, and had a really lovely evening. We had very nice conversations with the boss, looked at his former coffee machine 😁😅🫶 and ate a delicious menu. Recently i visited this place at first they welcome u with a great smile after that everythIng was not that good . They forced us to order more I didn’t feel like thats fair we will order as much as we want and if we want more then we will order later thats how it works they said they cant prepare unless we order more . That was disrespectful and the food was also not that good. There was a german couple sitting beside us they didn’t like the food as well

Whenever I cross Koblenz by train, I always wanted to make a pit stop here. So happy, that I finally did that. Highly recommend this restaurant because of its Delicious food and friendly staff. Tried Vegetarian Thali (Menu) and everything tasted very much North Indian. Happy to have eaten a Laddoo as dessert (after a long time). Definitely visiting again soon!

There were four of us eating. The owner welcomes you very warmly and talks openly about his history and the origin of the ingredients. Very friendly staff, very good and freshly prepared food. If you don't like 0815, you've come to the right place.

We have been there several times now and can only say that it is a pleasure every time. No matter whether it's butter chicken, tandoori mix or something vegan, everything tastes excellent. I would particularly recommend Tandoori Mix. There's a little bit of everything if you can't decide. The friendly host is Indian and likes to talk about his homeland. We'd love to come back.

I JUST now gave them a call and first asked in german whether they need a worker. and the woman asked the man next to her if they do and I could hear him laugh, I understand stress when there's a lot of work and it's Friday and it's like 7 30 now. anyways he picked the phone up and I asked if he speaks english and he said quickly yeah then I asked do you need a worker in the kitchen and he just instantly said " no no thank you bye" and hanged up on me. I saw another review about having hair in the food and being told it's the customers hair so after this call I kind of trust the person that it's unclean and I mean come on it's an indian restaurant. anyways I felt it was right to leave a bad review for a little bit of karma hope I helped some people.

We redeemed a voucher at Annapurna today and will definitely come back! Everything was very tasty and the hospitality was really very warm. The food tasted fresh and there was also plenty for non-spicy eaters. We ate the 36 and 37 as a main course and 4 and 7 as a starter. Lovely again!

Even though there are no children's dishes on the menu, a solution was found for the little ones and, upon special request, a portion of "potatoes without everything" was even available free of charge. So very child friendly. The adult meals were also very tasty. Highly Recommended.

Actually, I'm always a bit cautious about giving a good review, but I have to get it out of the way here. I celebrated my 31st birthday and booked a table there. We received a very warm welcome and were served very well. The food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it. Since many of us can't eat spicy food, we ordered a few dishes that weren't actually spicy and they were excellent. (This is not possible everywhere, speaking from experience) All in all it was a very great day and everything was to our utmost satisfaction. Thank you for this lovely birthday.

Wae a bit disappointed. Service tried very hard, unfortunately the starter is served after or with the main course and when ordering the waiter had to know the number - if you named the dish, it wasn't enough (even my naan with garlic. Unfortunately, food itself wasn't for us, there were 4 of us who ate classic dishes that we order like we usually do - either it has tasted wrong everywhere but delicious or it is interpreted completely differently here. We all had unpleasant aftertastes for a very long time. Ambience: you can see that there was another restaurant there before, so the additional little accessories are typical, but they don't fail to convey this feeling. To be fair: I also know people who really enjoy eating there, so everyone should form their own opinion, but be prepared for the fact that "classic" dishes, even like butter chicken or naan, taste different than in many other Indian restaurants

If you have a lot of money and a lot of time, this restaurant is for you! You have to wait two hours for your food. You can only order if you are not hungry, as the portions are only suitable for a child under the age of six. And I'm not making any promises, but diarrhea could be served as dessert!🔥

As soon as we entered the room it was hot as hell and all the windows were pointlessly closed. We ordered the menu for two which cost €62. The first course arrived after 30 minutes (a very small soup that was ready in a minute). After another 30 minutes, a dish for two arrived, which contained a very thin round cracker with small diced vegetables (carrots and cucumbers) on top (that could have been eaten in 30 seconds). Meanwhile, gripped by repeated hunger pangs, we ordered bread, which arrived after another 30 minutes along with the main course! The famous and tasty curried chicken: plain rice with that orange sauce (of course the rice was in an equally small bowl). With a small beer, a fruit juice, extra bread (for hunger) and an espresso we paid a total of €77!!! Please note: You can only pay with a German credit card.

Worst Indian Restaurant in terms of food taste and hospitality. The person running the hotel doesn’t love and respect Indians or Indian culture and taste. Please steer away from this place.

food was too bad and not like Indian authentic food. It's just so bad . There was hair in rice and when we asked he says it's yours. Then the owner or long hair guy was so weird and made us super uncomfortable. One should accept their mistakes not blame back. And another final shock was they don't accept credit cards or debit cards from different countries.They accept only cash and german cards which was annoying. Definitely won't return and suggest not to visit this place.

Family food for 17-85 years of a special kind. The starter mix with 3 very tasty sauces was great, for the main course the Indian food was served in pretty bowls on little stoves. Everyone had something different and we shared with each other and tried out the different flavors. Everything was really very tasty, some with a pleasant spiciness. We haven't dared to try spicy dishes yet. A great taste experience! There was also good wine, some from the region. Refills were attentively served and naan bread was served. Indian music was playing in the background, the owner told many stories from India, so we had a wonderful lunch. Thanks for the hospitality and the very special food, we'll be back!

Very tasty food, certainly tailored to the European palate, so not too spicy. Prices are on the high end for this cuisine. The innkeeper's constant Namaste gesture of thanks takes some getting used to. It has something of folklore about it. Conclusion: If we are in Koblenz again, we will go there again.

This was our second time visiting this lovely restaurant. The owner and the staff are hard to beat in terms of friendliness, the atmosphere is very pleasant and the food is delicious! If you want to experience an Indian evening in a modern, yet traditional ambience, Annapurna is the right place for you!
