I had the fried rollmops in a bun. Not the best I've ever had, but tasty. The bun was very crispy. I was satisfied.

The fries are delicious and crispy! Definitely worth the money! As is the fish sandwich (with Bismarck herring).

I had a herring roll and a crab roll. The herring roll for €4.90 was absolutely fine – it tasted very good. The crab roll with garlic sauce was also really tasty. However, I found the price of €13.50 for a single crab roll extremely high.

Overpriced. Fried fish is super thin. More breading than fish. Unfriendly.

The food was good, but the staff was grumpy. They called other guests stupid after a misunderstanding.

Brötchen waren ungenießbar. Der Fisch ging so. Die Wurst zur Currywurst war lecker, aber die Soße dazu erinnerte mich an Curry-Ketchup. Schade eigentlich bei so einem schönen Platz am Hafen.

I can only confirm the negative reviews. Rolls were soggy, fried fish was fried to death. The employee touched money, plastic boxes, and then our fish with his hygienic gloves.

Phew... First, the good news: the fish cake was okay, but the roll itself was probably the worst I've had so far. It tasted like it did the day before, and the roll took up so much of the fish sandwich—if that's not okay, then it's not good. Unfortunately, only 4 out of 10 this time 🤷🏼‍♂️

Dirty place. Also not beautiful. I ordered a Fischbrötchen and although I was really hungry (that's why I fell into the trap) I half ate it. Really bad quality, cold , not fresh at all. At least three days old. Do not go there!!

Unfriendly high 10! I went to the restaurant around 9 a.m. to buy some water. The door was wide open. Then a lady jumped up and yelled at me, “We’re closed!” Then put a sign on the door or close it! Impossible…

Unfortunately I had an absolutely bad experience. As my previous writers reported, money is handled with the same glove as food. Very oily fish. And the worst thing: after eating fried fish sandwiches, I started feeling sick and vomiting. Even more unpleasant as a pregnant woman!

Truly pathetic fish sandwiches. Probably the worst option on the entire landing stage. The prices are also extremely exorbitant: €6.50 for a simple fish sandwich, which is at most half filled with fish. Any questions you have about it are met with a rude dismissal.

Delicious, fresh fish sandwiches consumed with Alster water. Prices are ok. Audience mixed from locals and tourists.

Sunny, warm Hamburg weather. Plus a tuber and a fish sandwich with a view of the Elbe. Nothing more is possible. The fish sandwich is so-so...tourist area...but it's okay. I like it. Ahoy!

The food is prepared with gloves, which are also used to collect the money and push it around on the cash register display. Need I say more?

I come to the anchorage every time I'm traveling in Hamburg. The fish sandwiches are good and the shandy goes well with them too. The location is great and the staff was very nice to me. By 6 p.m. most items were sold out. I got the last fish sandwich with (I wish) more tartar sauce. Prices are typical for the area.

Amazing fish sandwiches which have great appearance and looking delicious! Prices are fairly low. But unfortunately here is definitely not the place for vegetarian. Fresh made different kinds of sandwich that smoked fish smelling attract tourists all day long. Ignore the crowd and noisy busy environment anyhow I can accept to have my lunch for a short break.

The fish was absolutely inferior, cheap remulade. Only fries and mulled wine were ok. Shameful for a fish restaurant in Hamburg!

I have been coming to Hamburg at least once every year for about 25 years. The first stop is always at the jetties at the anchorage, where I get my first fish sandwich and a wheat beer. My favorite, Bismarck rolls, are always well topped, fresh and with a good portion of onions. My companion loves the fried fish, where we are always asked what sauce, for example tartar sauce, should be on it. The fried fish is always golden brown, hot, and wonderfully tasty. And the great thing is that the boss (at least I think she's the boss) greets me every time as if she actually recognized me. Here I always feel like I've arrived in Hamburg and enjoy the fish sandwich while looking at the harbor panorama. Of course it's a little more expensive in this location, but it's definitely worth it to me.

The fried fish tastes ok. If desired warm, double fried, with the corresponding taste result. The service is very unfriendly and doesn't want to understand you. Seemed listless and annoyed with the customers. Communication poor.

Food is bad, different prices are said and then the price is higher! Rip off and rolls inedible

Ate here for the first time as a tip from a Hamburg couple and have been eating here ever since. Delicious fresh fish with crispy rolls. Prices like others.

We ordered the fried fish three times and the rolls were all bone dry. Next time it's better to walk a few meters further.

Nordseekrabben is quite pricy at 12.50 can’t taste the taste of prawn. Sauce is the key. It’s not bad. One isn’t enough for men. More recommended fischfrikadelle. Good location with view.

I can only agree with most of the previous speakers, one of the worst or the worst fried fish rolls I have ever eaten in my life, little fish, a lot of breading (also too hard), rolls rock hard. Service staff can also have their shoes soled while working. All in all a typical tourist joint, I believe and hope that a hamburger would never eat anything at this place.

Food ok Unfriendly service and just speechless……. It's a shame that there aren't zero stars here...... 4x orders were made incorrectly and 4x we forgot something, so we were allowed to open the wallet again 4x and pay extra. As a thank you, the roll was slammed on the counter and said we were aggressive? There is no connection for mistakes where others make... All I'm saying is: keep your eyes open when choosing a career. If you want a wrong order and want to have it as a side dish, you've come to the right place.

Good food. Beer at the wrong temperature. Rudeness of the staff. Poor service. Also dirty gloves. They grab the food, the cash register and more... No English for foreigners either. And the German they speak, not right.

I have to give it one star, a total tourist rip-off. There were six of us out and about today and eating delicious fish rolls at the harbor, it didn't work at all, the rolls were hard and the fried fish was cold, they didn't ask if it was warm, I actually assumed that it would be served warm but I thought wrong. Shrimp rolls today daily price 13 euros. I I wouldn't go there again but that won't matter.

I've never had such a bad fish sandwich. The roll is pure cardboard, the fish is of poor quality. My stomach turns just thinking about it. And then totally overpriced. It's a shame that tourists get the wrong impression of Hamburg from such dealers.

Fish roll was really ok, but the employee is absolutely not working! Bad mood, unfriendly and really rude! You feel like you have to apologize for wanting to eat there.

Stopped spontaneously for a little snack. The service was ok as the two employees were pretty on their toes. Fresh crispy fries and a good hot currywurst were very tasty. In addition to eating, the seating invites you to linger and watch the goings-on on the jetties.

Super unfriendly staff, was there with a group (12 people) and wasn't a good experience. They were too rude.

We landed there very hungry. Unfortunately very disappointed with the fried fish roll. The fish or tartar sauce tasted very unpleasantly sweet, and the overall taste was so strange that I decided to leave the roll alone after a few bites. Old rolls that made my husband barely able to taste his salmon. But the service was very good, my two-year-old daughter was treated very kindly, was given a lollipop and was given an extra children's portion of fries for 1.50 euros. The fries tasted okay. Location was nice because of the harbor, but not kept very clean.

We had a quick bite to eat there yesterday. The shop is a classic snack bar, but really tasty (had a currywurst with fries). The service is underground. The 30-year-old employee was annoyed, monosyllabic, listless and cheeky. At the top of the doors it says “Fischbrötchen” and “Bratwurst”. We asked if we had to queue inside to order a sausage. He said no and a minute later called out "Bratwurst" and slapped it onto the counter outside, facing us. We said we'd like a currywurst with fries and were met with rolling eyes and a comment we didn't understand. If you had asked us beforehand what we wanted to order, he would have known. We lined up neatly outside at the end of the queue. I ordered ketchup with it and when the sausage came my husband literally had to beg for the small bag of ketchup (which had already been paid for at 40 cents!). The employee threw it in our direction. Such rude and disrespectful behavior, especially towards a heavily pregnant woman, is completely unacceptable and makes me angry. Unfortunately I have to give one star for the service. I would rather not have given one.

We order Fischbrotchen. The lady at the cash register was preparing our food with dirty hands, managing 3 other clients in parallel (managing their money, picking something from the floor...) and then directly touching our food. We asked for a new one but we were refused. Disgusting and will never come back again there!

Worst Bismarck fish roll ever eaten!! Sour to no end!

The classic fish sandwiches (herring, pollack schnitzel) are delicious. Freshly prepared and with a crispy bun. The products are becoming more and more expensive, but since I only go there once a year when I'm visiting, it doesn't bother me. I can recommend the shop for a fish sandwich and a bottle of Astra.

Had a fried fish roll and a fried roll pug roll. The fried fish roll is ok, the fried roll mops tasted very boring and bland. Even the one from the supermarket has more taste. Definitely expected more here!

The fried fish is no good at all. Lots of greasy breading and hardly any fish. However, at least a real bakery roll is used for this. There are 2 stars for the beautiful harbor atmosphere.

From here, right on the water, you can easily observe the goings-on at the harbor. The herring cake was fresh and delicious. However, the fried fish was a bit dry and the breading was too crispy.

The service could be a bit nicer, but that's probably more in line with local customs. The rolls are 1A - real rolls from the bakery and properly topped! We'd love to come back!

The fried fish was cold and dry and the roll was rock hard. The fact that a lot of the sauce was saved didn't help either. It was extremely expensive and the staff was extremely unfriendly. There are only 2 points for the ambience, as the stand is located directly at the harbor and therefore offers a beautiful view. The stand itself was very dirty. Better try every other fish stand in Hamburg before you go to this one.

Best Kibbelinge in Hamburg! The atmosphere of the coast and harbor cannot be beaten in Hamburg!

Price-performance doesn't fit. In my opinion, the matjes is not fresh, this is indicated by the * on the price board, which indicates flavor enhancers, I think it comes from a bulk consumer bin, that's how it tastes. Buns dry, staff not blessed with friendliness. The fries taste as if fish were fried in the same fat. By the way, the daily price for the crab roll today was €9.00...

Unfriendly, loveless, overpriced...not recommended

Ich fand es wirklich nicht gut. Der Backfisch wurde für 30 Sekunden zum Erwärmen nochmal in das Frittierfett geschmissen und direkt von dort ins Brötchen geschmissen. Entsprechend tropfte das Fett nur so herunter. Ich habe hauptsächich Panade gegessen, Fisch war kaum vorhanden. Ein halbes labbriges Salatblatt und an zu wenig Remoulade. Brötchen sehr trocken. Mein Partner hatte ein Krabbenbrötchen für 10€. Er war geschmacklich zufrieden. Daher zwei Gnadensterne.

Die Fischbrötchen sind die zweitbesten nach denen von der Landungsbrücke 10, Service bemüht jedoch sprachliche Barrieren. Ambiente wie im Hafen, laut, windig, Absage von Schiffen....

Leider etwas lieblos, wenn man auf das Krabbenbrötchen nur einen Klecks Soße oben drauf macht ist es klar dass der Rest des Brötchens eher trocken ist.

In diesem Bereich gibt es keinen ansprechenden (guten) Fischladen. Der Ankerplatz versprach noch am meisten, enttäuschte aber durch wenig Geschmack und zu stark panierte Fischfrikadellen.

Essen lecker aber dafür lohnt sich die Wartezeit nicht

Wir drei hungrige Mädels wollten dem jungen Mann mit der Nike-Basecap auf diesem Weg Danke sagen. Vielen Dank für die nette, freundliche Bedienung - auch wenn es etwas stressig war, ist er richtig cool geblieben. Essen und Preis waren auch vollkommen in Ordnung für die Hamburger Region. Vier Meter vom Wasser… Man kann toll sitzen und die Brötchen, wie auch die Pimmes sind lecker. Matjesbrötchen z. B. 4,50 Euro. Pommes 3,50 Euro. Cola 0,5 l 3,50 Euro. Für Hafen gut.

Genau an den Landungsbrücken, die erste Bude das Lachbrötchen ist super es ist toll hier die Schiffe und Barkassen auslaufen und fahren zu sehen.

Das Ambiente ist dass einzige was hier gut, wenn man draußen sitzt und in den Hafen schaut. Personal wirkt lustlos und unmotiviert. Beim Backfischbrötchen ist mehr Panade vorhanden als Fisch. Die Fish and Chips: der Fisch fast schwarz frittiert und mit den Pommes sehr geizig. Der Fisch wurde in einem Plastikeimer von irgendwo aus dem hinteren Bereich geholt.

Ich hatte ein Krabbenbrötchen, dass zwar mit 9.90€ teuer war, aber es war gut und vor allem gut gefüllt. Zudem wurde ich von einer sehr netten Dame bedient. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Gute Fischbrötchen zum normalen Preis, Brötchen normal groß und gut belegt. Personal anfangs freundlich, wenn es mal etwas länger braucht bei der Bestellung wirken sie hinter der Theke genervt. Zum Sitzen gibt’s draußen wie drinnen ein paar wenige Möglichkeiten - ob da während des Betriebs mal die Tische abgewischt werden wage ich zu bezweifeln.

Super trockene Brötchen mit kaum Beilage. Verkäuferin war unmotiviert und unfreundlich. Krabbenbrötchen für 10 Eur eine Frechheit. Das gleiche aufm Fischmarkt heute für 7,50 bekommen.

Pommes absolut unterirdisch, Krakauer ok. Das liebloseste Backfischbrötchen, welches ich jemals gesehen habe. Organisation unterirdisch.

Ordered Pommes, smoked salmon roll and a backfisch roll. The positive: good pommes The okay: the smoked salmon roll was tasty. Not amazing but okay. The bad: the backfisch roll... Tasted like poor quality then defrosted fish I will try somewhere else next time.

Wahlweise wird noch Remoulade oder Knoblauchsoße draufgegeben. Für 5,50€ zahlt man sicherlich auch die gute Lage mit, dafür kann man in einem authentischen Imbiss direkt am Hafen essen. Auch die Pommes waren lecker.

Update 2022 Nach 2 weiteren Besuchen zu versch. Jahreszeiten ist uns aufgefallen, dass die Qualität immer stärker nachgelassen hat. Auch die Bedienung ist nicht mehr so freundlich. All das rechtfertigt die 5,50€ für ein einfaches Backfischbrötchen nicht mehr. Außerdem: wozu Latexhandschuhe tragen, wenn alles damit in die Hand genommen wird? Bargeld, dann direkt das Essen, dann Privathandy...und wieder von vorne. Es gibt zahlreiche Alternativen. Man muss nur die Augen aufmachen. 2021: Backfisch war frisch und lecker. Unser Brötchen war nicht pampig. Die Bedienung war nicht unfreundlich aber auch nicht super happy mit ihrer Arbeit, machte den Eindruck. Für den guten Geschmack und die günstigere Preise* für Backfisch und Matjes gibt es trotzdem 5 Sterne. *je weiter es Richtung Reeperbahn geht, desto höher werden die Preise

Krabben Krabbenbrötchen gegönnt, frische Nordseekrabben nach Tagespreis. Mit Remoulade war es definitiv Wert.

Beste Fisch Brötchen an den Landungsbrücken. Noch mit knackigem Salat frischen Tomaten und natürlich leckerem Fisch!

Das Brötchen war etwas zu trocken. Remoulade gab es leider nicht. Der Backfisch war kalt und nicht mehr knusprig, schade. Ich würde dort nicht noch einmal essen gehen. Da gibt es bessere Alternativen ;-)

Die weibliche Bedienung war sehr freundlich und nett, auch wenn wir mit dem Dialekt (wir sind aus Österreich) Schwierigkeiten hatten. Die Fischbrötchen waren sehr lecker.
