It's unbelievable how good this kebab tastes. I've never had such a good kebab before. The bread is great, the meat is super juicy and has a unique taste. The sauces and salad go perfectly with the meat. The perfect balance and that for 8.50. Top.

I ordered a kebab in flatbread. The meat was okay, but the price is a bit too expensive, so in my opinion it's not a kebab for the price. The ambience is very nice with a brownish design. You definitely feel comfortable.

The Ankara on Rheintörchenstr. in Duisburg is not so enthusiastic. After taking the order, we ordered a kebab plate with a mixed starter platter for 2, the waiter came back to the table after 5 minutes to tell us that the kebab skewer was sold out and then asked us to choose something else. Here we asked ourselves whether we couldn't have seen this before in the otherwise very well-arranged store. However, in retrospect, the alternative food was not convincing in terms of taste. The starter platter later turned out to be a compilation of three different pastes, which was served with industrially made flatbread.

We ordered Serpme Kahvaltisi and have to say, the selection was great! From Gözleme to Menemen, Sucuklu yumurta, cheese, olives, kizartma and much more. Everything was there and it all tasted great. The price is unbeatable for what you get. We'll be back 😊

The waitress forgot to bring the fries and when I ordered the Adana Dürum there wasn't much meat in it. the bread was tough as leather and probably 2 days old. Conclusion: NEVER AGAIN!

We came with a Neotaste voucher and wanted to redeem it. Apparently you can't redeem it even though the restaurant has registered there and offers the vouchers. It could be a scam to lure guests into the restaurant and then say that they will not be redeemed. The service wasn't good. We sat outside on the terrace and I literally asked for an ashtray 5 times from different waiters. I didn't get any in the 1.5 hours we sat there on the terrace. The food was nothing special.

Unfortunately Adana also tastes very bad. Strong aftertaste of “lamb”. But how do you make it so that even the lentil soup doesn't taste good... I have no idea... So that was the last time we ordered or ate there... It's a shame, but standard these days... great at the beginning, inedible after a while. That's not how you stay on the market! I've heard the same thing from many friends who feel the same way. I would say convince yourself, but save your money for good restaurants.

Went there because of the 4.7 stars out of almost 700 reviews. After we noticed the prices (13 euros for a kebab) negatively, we thought that a classic Dürum would certainly be outstanding. I have to say this was the worst Dürum I have ever eaten in my life. No sauce - and I mean no sauce at all. Neither on the bread itself, nor rolled up between the salad and meat. My friend couldn't get her Dürum down due to the dryness. You can certainly expect more for 9 or 10 euros. The best was the Sprite from the glass bottle. The wet wipes that were brought were nice, but they didn't help with the dryness in my throat. As with all love, you get 4.7 stars.

This store is unbelievably bad. People have no idea about operation. I went there twice and wasn't served both times. I sat down there and not a single waiter came to me. I sat there for 10 minutes. No “hello” or “welcome” or “what would you like to order?” How can you run a restaurant like that? There was little going on both times. I couldn't be missed. I can't rate the food because it didn't happen. Honestly, I'll never go to this store again. Normally I'm not one to write reviews but here I couldn't and didn't want to do anything else!

The food was good. They came in the same time and it was like expected. The waiters didn't speak any English, but after one 1 week in Germany we were a little bit used. But then we asked for the check. After 20 minutes nothing happened. My husband go to them..ask again.. they said he cannot pay by card because internet doesn't work or something like this. So he has to go to an ATM or to rhe Rewe( but there you can't also receive cash). Meanwhile I asked them again.. why can't pay by card ( in Germany in 2024 it's hard to understand why not) they told me that I can send the money in an account ( I think a personal one) . Maybe the next time you can inform your clients before that your POS doesn't work and that we have to pay cash . Or you can give an account from the beginning if you know that the closest ATM it's 3km away!!

We went on Monday, June 17, at around 17:30. It was our first time. We sat on the terrace for at least half an hour and waited for a waiter or staff to come and at least bring a menu. Even though they saw us, no one deigned to come. So we got up and went back. The most delicious meal in the world. Even if the food was served, I would never go again.

We'd love to come back :) Today February 6, 2024 Visited the restaurant for the second time. Service 0 stars ⭐️! We were immediately greeted and given a table at the front of the entrance area. My buddy quickly went to the toilet. I sat down. During this time the table was set with cards, salad, bread and dips. My friend comes from the toilet and was shocked at first. Then somehow a platter of meat was handed to us and we just looked at each other in astonishment and refused - we just wanted to eat kebab 😄 While we ate the table was gradually cleared away. It was so annoying having someone at the table all the time. You get cardboard straws with your drinks from the gas bottle. Better give me a glass! I ordered a kebab, they didn't even ask what sauce you wanted, which perhaps shouldn't be on it as a salad. In the end I asked for a glass, he came with black tea and baklava and always mentioned "from me to you". It was also very drafty and cold. I've never been served so badly. And since the prices there have risen quite a bit and they now charge 11 euros for a Turkish pizza with meat and salad, I'm thinking about eating there again. At least it would be enough to pick up and eat at home. But not recommended with this way of working... I can now understand some of the reviews that make you feel like you have to get out quickly to make room for other or more guests

The waiter is unfriendly & seems to think up the prices himself, well at least he's quick. Ayran tastes disastrous (like nothing). Bread was ice cold. It didn't smell good at all on the terrace, it ruined everything. Children constantly run across the restaurant and are loud. Customers are highly anti-social. Listening to Tiktok at full volume at the table next to us. The meat tastes ok [4/10], extremely animal-like, but seasoned quite ok. Salad was the only thing that was halfway tasty and fresh. I won't come here again & can't recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to have a nervous breakdown.

We ate there as a group about 2 weeks ago. We ordered for 18 people. The food wasn't necessarily bad, but the bill was very outrageous. We were given 3 bottles of cola and 3 bottles of water. These 6 bottles became 44 glasses of cola, 18 x €20 per grill plate suddenly became €25, 4 x €6 per Künefe became €8 per portion, 3 x €4.50 per Sütlac became €5 per Sütlac. Even though we ordered for 18 people, we were billed for 19 people. The waiter apparently invented new prices. We feel pretty fooled. The waiter settled for 19 men. Although we immediately told him to reduce it to 15. He charged €118-119 for a total of 6 bottles. Only the sweet was appropriate. In total the bill was €623 6. We came last year. Tastes have changed a lot. We sang Iskender and mixed. The salad was almost spoiled, especially the cucumber. I asked for covered buttermilk, I was told it was not available, I asked for open buttermilk, it was almost water, then I changed it to cola. Den Knaller zuerst: wir hatten nach dem Essen unsere ersten Getränke noch nicht ausgetrunken, als der Kellner kam und meinte, sie bräuchten den Tisch, den habe jemand reserviert. Als wir ihm erklärten, wir hätten auch reserviert ist er grummelnd, ohne irgendeine Form der Entschuldigung wieder abgezogen... Ich kam als erste an und ohne Getränke aufgenommen zu haben wurden Dips, Salat, warmes (!) Brot auf den Tisch gestellt - obwohl die anderen beiden noch gar nicht da waren. Den türkischen Mokka von der Karte gab es nicht, sondern nur Tee. Das Hackfleisch in meinem Gericht war von mittlerer Qualität, es waren schon mal Knorpelanteile drin. Unsere Vegetarierin hatte das größte Pech: kaum Vegetarisches auf der Karte und ihr Wunsch - weniger Käse und mehr Gemüse an ihrem Gericht wurde nicht erfüllt. Preislich fand ich mein Hackfleischgericht (20€) für das, was auf dem Teller war recht teuer. Das Ambiente ist nicht wirklich gemütlich, die Kellner wollten ständig Sachen abräumen, die noch nicht leer waren und nach der Resevierungs-Nummer war klar: uns wollte man schnell raus haben. Ob das Politik des Ladens ist, daran lag, das wir drei Frauen waren (zwischen 30 und 60) oder der Kellner schräg drauf war - keine Ahnung. Auf jeden Fall kann ich den Laden absolut nicht empfehlen - sowas wie da ist mir selten passiert!!!

Wir sind heute spontan zum Ankara Restaurant in Duisburg gefahren um evht authentische Türkische Küche zu erleben. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht!! Der Laden ist sehr schön und modern gestaltet erinnert aber an seine Wurzeln in der Türkei durch Design Elemente und Bilder. Die Servicekräfte und Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich freundlich und bemüht dem Gast einen tollen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Das haben Sie auch geschafft. In einer Rekordverdächtigen Zeit haben wir nach dem ankommen Brot, Dips und Salat gereicht bekommen. Als könne er Gedanken lesen hat er uns den Grillteller für 2 empfohlen und innerhalb von 10 Minuten kochend heiß und frisch serviert. Die Fleischvariationen waren allesamt verdammt frisch, sehr lecker, aromatisch und wiederholungsbedürftig. Zum Nachtisch gab es einen fantastischen türkischen Tee und Milchreis. Beides war super genial. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Vielen Dank für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

wir haben hier wirklich sehr leckeres essen bekommen. es hat extrem gut geschmeckt. service war auch top und sowohl die toiletten als auch alles andere war sehe sauber. allerdings finde ich die preise einfach zu hoch. beim essen kann ich es verstehen, es hat dementsprechend gut geschmeckt. aber wenigstens könnte man den cay gratis anbieten oder etwas überlegen. wir waren letztens in einem afghanisxh restaurant und haben für ne kleine thermos tee kanne 2€ gezahlt und zwei gläser bekommen. es war nach dem essen einfach total angenehm. vlt ein kleiner tipp für dieses restaurant
