Very disappointed… I run there on a Sunday morning to get some tavuk soup and what do I get: a mix of tripe taste and an inexplicable horrible taste in my soup that made me sick. If I could give minus stars I would give -5 stars. Not recommended

We came here from Nuremberg. The atmosphere was warm and familiar, you immediately feel welcome. The food was great The service was attentive, friendly and very accommodating and we were well looked after. At the end there was a Turkish tea - a perfect end to an all-round successful evening. We will definitely be back for one of the best Turkish restaurants in the city!

Murat the chef and the staff prepared everything excellently. The taste was very good and the food was served quickly. I was so full that there wasn't enough left for dessert. Murat also looked after the guests, which always makes a good impression. I found the price to be fair and transparent. At the end there was a Turkish tea on the house. Next time I'll try a kebab or lahmacun. There are also pizzas. I also find it interesting that you are planning to offer pasta and burgers. Then I will come more often because you deserve it too. I visited the Ankara Restaurant in Duisburg and was very satisfied. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. I was particularly impressed with the meat – perfectly seasoned, juicy and tender. Turkish coffee and the baklava – both were simply delicious. A friendly employee told me that they will soon be opening a summer café on the terrace. There should be a large selection of coffee, sweets and cakes. That sounds really fantastic and I'm looking forward to my next visit. I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went to Iftar at the Ankara Restaurant yesterday and two weeks ago and were thrilled! The food is not only fresh and very tasty, but also tastes reminiscent of Turkey. The welcome was warm and all the staff are friendly and attentive. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back. Our experience was entirely positive. Absolute recommendation!

A nice Turkish restaurant close to Düsseldorf. We preferred kelle paça soup, lamb chops and Adana. They served three types of appetizers and plenty of fresh salads. The soup was very good. Lamb chops and Adana were very good and delicious. Tea was served. (Their tea is nice, by the way). The price is very affordable.

We spontaneously went there to eat and were pleasantly surprised. In particular, the friendly welcome and the overall service were top class. We were there yesterday with my wife and very long hair came out of my Adana and I told the boss and he still lies to me and says that the boss isn't there and you couldn't give out a new dish, cheapskate. This is the height of insolence. My husband and I ordered grilled chicken and mutton. As soon as we started eating, my husband found a hair in the meat (mutton). He went and reported it to the staff. The staff just asked if we would continue eating it without any excuse or offering a new meat. My husband went to pay the ladies and told him that he was owed 40 euros. I asked why if the food wasn't really touched by us because there was other people's hair in it. He replied that the boss told us to pay for it normally. This is really rude, we will never go back there....

We were there today with 11 people and had a very nice evening (birthday). The mixed grill platter was plentiful and the meat was very seasoned and very tender, the starters (meze), salads, drinks and service were more than successful. This is the second time here with a large group and both times more than satisfied and always enthusiastic. Price performance also very 👍 good.

I was at the Ankara restaurant in Duisburg for the first time a little over a year ago and was really impressed. The food was of an incredible standard, the service was first class and the whole atmosphere had something of Dubai about it. A real highlight. Back then I would have easily given it seven stars! But unfortunately I have to say that it has decreased quite a bit since then. The quality of the food is no longer what it used to be and the service has also significantly deteriorated. It went from being a one-off experience to feeling more standard now.

We ordered 2x Adana Dürüm and 3x Ayran, plus an Adana plate, but only with a skewer because I was undecided and wanted rice etc. with it. Because I only got a minced meat skewer, the man at the checkout said that he would charge it like a Dürüm: half of €7 The price should be €27. We paid €37. I didn't want to make a drama there, but that's really not possible. We ordered fries, but we didn't get them. We had to ask ourselves if we could get bread and salad with it. At Ali Usta in Hochfeld, on the other hand, the service is much better and tastes better. Everything is brought directly to the table without much talking and you also get TEA free of charge. You should cut off a piece. Unfortunately there won't be a next time :(

It's unbelievable how good this kebab tastes. I've never had such a good kebab before. The bread is great, the meat is super juicy and has a unique taste. The sauces and salad go perfectly with the meat. The perfect balance and that for 8.50. Top.

I ordered a kebab in flatbread. The meat was okay, but the price is a bit too expensive, so in my opinion it's not a kebab for the price. The ambience is very nice with a brownish design. You definitely feel comfortable.

The Ankara on Rheintörchenstr. in Duisburg is not so enthusiastic. After taking the order, we ordered a kebab plate with a mixed starter platter for 2, the waiter came back to the table after 5 minutes to tell us that the kebab skewer was sold out and then asked us to choose something else. Here we asked ourselves whether we couldn't have seen this before in the otherwise very well-arranged store. However, in retrospect, the alternative food was not convincing in terms of taste. The starter platter later turned out to be a compilation of three different pastes, which was served with industrially made flatbread.

We ordered Serpme Kahvaltisi and have to say, the selection was great! From Gözleme to Menemen, Sucuklu yumurta, cheese, olives, kizartma and much more. Everything was there and it all tasted great. The price is unbeatable for what you get. We'll be back 😊

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience. When I ordered the Adana, the meat was pretty dry and grilled to death. The waitress forgot to bring the fries and when I ordered the Adana Dürum there wasn't much meat in it. the bread was tough as leather and probably 2 days old. Conclusion: NEVER AGAIN!

We came with a Neotaste voucher and wanted to redeem it. Apparently you can't redeem it even though the restaurant has registered there and offers the vouchers. It could be a scam to lure guests into the restaurant and then say that they will not be redeemed. The service wasn't good. We sat outside on the terrace and I literally asked for an ashtray 5 times from different waiters. I didn't get any in the 1.5 hours we sat there on the terrace. The food was nothing special.

Been there for the third time and ordered in the meantime... The quality was great when it opened. Now one star is too many. Chicken like a sponge... Taste 0. Unfortunately Adana also tastes very bad. Strong aftertaste of “lamb”. But how do you make it so that even the lentil soup doesn't taste good... I have no idea... So that was the last time we ordered or ate there... It's a shame, but standard these days... great at the beginning, inedible after a while. That's not how you stay on the market! I've heard the same thing from many friends who feel the same way. I would say convince yourself, but save your money for good restaurants.

Went there because of the 4.7 stars out of almost 700 reviews. After we noticed the prices (13 euros for a kebab) negatively, we thought that a classic Dürum would certainly be outstanding. I have to say this was the worst Dürum I have ever eaten in my life. No sauce - and I mean no sauce at all. Neither on the bread itself, nor rolled up between the salad and meat. My friend couldn't get her Dürum down due to the dryness. You can certainly expect more for 9 or 10 euros. The best was the Sprite from the glass bottle. The wet wipes that were brought were nice, but they didn't help with the dryness in my throat. As with all love, you get 4.7 stars.

This store is unbelievably bad. People have no idea about operation. I went there twice and wasn't served both times. I sat down there and not a single waiter came to me. I sat there for 10 minutes. No “hello” or “welcome” or “what would you like to order?” How can you run a restaurant like that? There was little going on both times. I couldn't be missed. I can't rate the food because it didn't happen. Honestly, I'll never go to this store again. Normally I'm not one to write reviews but here I couldn't and didn't want to do anything else!

The food was good. They came in the same time and it was like expected. The waiters didn't speak any English, but after one 1 week in Germany we were a little bit used. But then we asked for the check. After 20 minutes nothing happened. My husband go to them..ask again.. they said he cannot pay by card because internet doesn't work or something like this. So he has to go to an ATM or to rhe Rewe( but there you can't also receive cash). Meanwhile I asked them again.. why can't pay by card ( in Germany in 2024 it's hard to understand why not) they told me that I can send the money in an account ( I think a personal one) . Maybe the next time you can inform your clients before that your POS doesn't work and that we have to pay cash . Or you can give an account from the beginning if you know that the closest ATM it's 3km away!!

We went on Monday, June 17, at around 17:30. It was our first time. We sat on the terrace for at least half an hour and waited for a waiter or staff to come and at least bring a menu. Even though they saw us, no one deigned to come. So we got up and went back. The most delicious meal in the world. Even if the food was served, I would never go again.

ADDENDUM: 12/11/2023 Went there for the first time yesterday and it was really tasty. Dürüm is freshly baked. Meat tasty and not even chewed on cartilage or pieces of bone. The service still needs to be worked on because German is not spoken well, but that was the least of the problems. Great store, definitely recommended. We'd love to come back :) Today February 6, 2024 Visited the restaurant for the second time. Service 0 stars ⭐️! We were immediately greeted and given a table at the front of the entrance area. My buddy quickly went to the toilet. I sat down. During this time the table was set with cards, salad, bread and dips. My friend comes from the toilet and was shocked at first. Then somehow a platter of meat was handed to us and we just looked at each other in astonishment and refused - we just wanted to eat kebab 😄 While we ate the table was gradually cleared away. It was so annoying having someone at the table all the time. You get cardboard straws with your drinks from the gas bottle. Better give me a glass! I ordered a kebab, they didn't even ask what sauce you wanted, which perhaps shouldn't be on it as a salad. In the end I asked for a glass, he came with black tea and baklava and always mentioned "from me to you". It was also very drafty and cold. I've never been served so badly. And since the prices there have risen quite a bit and they now charge 11 euros for a Turkish pizza with meat and salad, I'm thinking about eating there again. At least it would be enough to pick up and eat at home. But not recommended with this way of working... I can now understand some of the reviews that make you feel like you have to get out quickly to make room for other or more guests
