I was a guest in Wuppertal and was looking for a steakhouse with a colleague. I have to say - just TOP!! I wouldn't have expected to be able to find such great quality with a good price-performance ratio in Wuppertal. I can only warmly recommend it to everyone! Good service, nice atmosphere and very friendly owner of the restaurant. I would love to come back when I travel from Munich to Wuppertal again.

Everything was just right here! Unfortunately closed. But I am hopeful that the same owners will also be successful with a new concept.

Service, ambience and of course the food, everything was perfect. We were completely satisfied and will definitely come back!

The restaurant offers very good dishes and the service is very courteous! I highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back to try the different dishes!

It was our first time in this restaurant and we were bitterly disappointed. Because of the good reviews and because Wagyu was offered, we chose this steak restaurant. The restaurant wasn't overly busy, but there weren't enough menus. Although there were QR codes for the online menu, they contained menus that were not available on site. We waited 1.5 hours for our food, during which time the service staff never once asked for more drinks, let alone mentioned why it was taking so long in the kitchen. At the next table there were tumultuous discussions between the owner and the guests because a dish that cost almost €140 was completely messed up. Of the four Wagyu steaks we ordered (100g for €39), two dishes consisted almost entirely of fat and the desired degree of doneness was not achieved. Two steak burgers we ordered were served lukewarm at best and were tough. Something like that shouldn't happen with the prices. The service staff seemed overwhelmed by the criticism; no compensation or even a simple apology was offered. After the experience I can unfortunately recommend the restaurant.

By chance we saw that there was Wagyu in Wuppertal. Based on the reviews and the high prices, we assumed it was a good restaurant. The ambience also looks very tasteful. When we entered we were really looking forward to the evening. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. There weren't enough cards. Which is ok, because the menu was displayed directly on the smartphone via the QR at the table. But then some things were not available from the online map. This should perhaps be given as a direct reference. We had to wait about 1 1/2 hours for our food. It wasn't crowded and quiet at all that evening. There have already been complaints about the quality at the table next to us. The guests arrived before us and must have waited a similar amount of time. For example, dishes for four people didn't come out at the same time, side dishes weren't warm, and the meat wasn't cooked to the desired cooking point. We ordered, among other things, four pieces of Wagyu. When they arrived at the same time, the waiter no longer knew which one had which cooking point. That was rather advised when it was published and then it was wrong. I ordered medium and received medium rare. It tasted ok, but for the price (€39 for 100g) it was absolutely not a highlight and not what I ordered. Then all four pieces were so different. One piece was basically just fat. In the 1 1/2 hours we weren't even asked if we wanted to drink something else or what the status of the order was. There were four people in service and as already described, it wasn't busy. There are deductions for the following things: -1 star for the long wait -1 star for the quality (not the desired cooking point) -1 star for the inattentive service -1 star for there being no apology (I'm not expecting anything in the form of drinks or desserts here, but words should be) I am very patient and very understanding when things don't go as they should. Just not responding at all, leaving guests alone "with themselves" for so long and not addressing the problems themselves and apologizing is unprofessional and unfortunately leads me to such a review.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the visit. Yesterday the 6 of us were there around 6:30 p.m. and had to wait almost 1.5 hours for the food. During that time, none of the three service employees came by to let us know how the food was going or to ask whether we had any other drink requests or simply whether everything was okay. I didn't think the restaurant was that busy, but there weren't enough cards so we were directed to a QR code. It wouldn't be so bad if there hadn't been a list of dishes that we were going to order, but which were no longer current and therefore couldn't be ordered. The four Wagyu steaks we ordered arrived at the same time, but the staff no longer knew which one was prepared and how. As a result, incorrect cooking levels were given and a portion consisted almost entirely of fat. Then a few side dishes were gradually brought over and 5 minutes later 3 more steak burgers arrived, including one for me. No excuse that we had to wait long. The fries were hotter than the burger. The buns were cool and the meat was only lukewarm and in some places so tough and fatty that I really didn't find it tasty. I asked if that was the case and was assured that the burgers were fresh out of the kitchen and should be hot. They offered to bring a new one for me, which was unpleasant considering that most of them were almost finished eating and I would probably have had to wait a long time again. Because the tables next to us also had to wait a long time, even though there were three employees in service, but only rarely anything came from the kitchen. And food waste really can't be the solution here. It would be better to offer something else. In the end we were charged full price, no compensation and no apology. Only the waitress held the door open for us and said goodbye, while the employee at the counter studiously ignored us as we walked past him. Very unpleasant to say goodbye to guests like that. For the price I really can't recommend the restaurant. It didn't feel upscale in the slightest. The service didn't convey that and the food certainly didn't. There is therefore a lack of much that would justify the price of the card. The only star goes to the ambience, as at least here an effort was made. The rest was really very disappointing and it's a shame about all the money.

Because of the positive reviews, we were really looking forward to an evening in this restaurant but were unfortunately disappointed. The service was very friendly, but often not entirely attentive (the drinks ordered were not brought on the second order). About the food: the quality of the meat is certainly not bad, but definitely not justified for the price. Unfortunately (and this is a major mishap for a steak restaurant) the doneness was completely missed. Even though medium well was ordered, we received medium rare. Unfortunately, part of the steak was inedible. It's really a shame, but a steak restaurant has to be able to handle this. Especially when you pay 140 euros for two people...

Das Anello besticht mit einem tollen Ambiente, die dunkel gehaltenen Wände werden durch die indirekte Beleuchtung ergänzt und die Ausstattung wirkt insgesamt hochwertig und modern. Das Tagliata wurde dünn geschnitten mit einer Parmesan-Rucola Haube serviert. Leider hatte das Steak doch einen relativ großen Fettrand und das ist eigentlich schade, denn ich hatte diesbezüglich vorher nachgefragt, dementsprechend war die Enttäuschung doch relativ groß. Das Fleisch an sich war qualitativ nicht schlecht, aber für den Preis auch nicht herausragend. Das Grillgemüse schmeckte leider sehr Fad und war Kein besonders großer Gaumenschmaus, das gleiche bei den Rosmarinkartoffeln, ohne die Pfeffersoße leider sehr geschmacklos. Der Steakburger war mit der Gurkenscheibe und den klassischen Burgerbuns nicht der Hit, für 25 Euro erwartet man doch etwas mehr. Z.B ein Brioche Burgerbun, karamellisierte zwiebeln und vielleicht noch Gewürzgurken? Der Selbstgemachte Eistee Ginger Berry, kommt mit stolzen 5, 50 daher und man bekommt nur 1/4 getränk weil der rest aus Eiswürfeln besteht, sowas sollte einfach nicht sein. Der Service war freundlich. Unser Besteck wurde vergessen und wir haben eine zweite Pommes bekommen die wir nicht bestellt hatten, positiv fand ich das der Kellner noch mal kam und sich entschuldigt hat. Die Pommes ging dann aufs Haus, das war wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Anello hat gutes Potential, wenn man hier und da noch etwas mehr Liebe ins Detail steckt. Vielleicht kommen wir zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt noch mal wieder :)

Das Personal war sehr nett und das ganze Ambiente stimmte. Sehr gute Cocktails. Leider hat das Essen gar nicht überzeugt. Die Pommes waren matschig, das Gemüse und das Fleisch nicht heiß serviert. Gerade beim Fleisch (Angus de la Finca) war ich doch sehr enttäuscht. Und bei den Preisen erwarte ich dann doch deutlich mehr. Zum gemütlichen trinken, würde ich jederzeit wiederkommen, allerdings nicht zum essen.

Essen, Service und Ambiente absolut top. Erlebnisgastronomie....Wir waren sehr angetan und werden gerne wiederkommen.

Visited on my own for a steak. Not cheap, but probably the greatest steak I’ve ever had. Service was good, restaurant very smart. Would recommend.

Mega liebevolle und aufmarksame Personal. Wie haben mega viel bestellt und bei keinem davon habe ich was zu meckern. Fleisch 🍖 🥩 war 1a Vorspeise und Dessert genauso. Kaffee ☕️ hat super geschmeckt ( für alle Kaffee Trinker) Und Wein Empfehlung war Top. Preisleistung 5sterne Zur guter letzt finde ich man kann erkennen ob eine Resturante hygienisch arbeitet in dem man die Toiletten betrachtet. Die waren super sauber und haben sehr gut gerochen. Man fühlte sich rundum wohl.

Das Ambiente und der Service waren sehr gut. Man hat sofort den Eindruck, dass man in einem gehobeneren Restaurant sitzt. Dementsprechend sind auch die Preise, darauf sollte man sich einstellen. Mein Rinderfiletsteak war gut, jedoch nichts besonderes, bei dem Preis habe ich etwas mehr erwartet.

Perfektes Rinderfilet, schönes Ambiente und sehr aufmerksamer Service. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit einer überaus freundlichen und sehr zuvorkommenden Bedienung. In unserem Fall, Tisch ohne Reservierung, wurden wir, vier Personen, von Diego bedient. Er hat uns wirklich sehr toll beraten und sehr viel Hintergrundwissen vermittelt. Es war eine tolle Reise und Lehrstunde über so viele Stake Sorten. Es war überragend und ein tolles Erlebnis in einer tollen Lokation. Wir haben uns sehr gut und freundlich bedient gefühlt. Das Fleisch war genau richtig und vom Geschmack sehr intensiv. Wer auf Qualität Wert legen sollte, ist hier genau richtig, meiner Meinung nach. Kann ich guten Gewissens jedem Wärmstens empfehlen. Genau das was Wuppertal bislang gefehlt hat. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder. Top 👍🏽

Entspannte Atmosphäre, nette Bedienung, modernes Ambiente….., aber das war es schon! Als Blickfang steht in der Mitte des Raumes ein Reifeschrank mit tollem Inhalt. Es ist aber keine Garantie in dem Lokal, das auf dem Tellern wiederzufinden! Was wir auf den Tellern am diesen Abend vorgefunden haben (4 Personen) entsprach überhaupt nicht dem, was Anello auf der Instagram Seite schreibt: „Wir möchten einen Ort schaffen, an dem Fleisch die Wertschätzung bekommt, die es verdient hat“. Sorry, es war keine Wertschätzung des Fleisches. Es waren 4 Fingerdicke Fleischlappen, zäh und mit Sehnen. Sehr schlechte Massenware! Der Fehler lag natürlich bei uns: Wir sollten alle Teller zurückgeben, wollten uns aber den Abend nicht total verderben. Wir haben jedoch anschließend die Bedienung darauf angesprochen. Der Chef persönlich war etwas verwundert und hat uns weiter die angeblich tolle Fleischqualität gepriesen. Als er aber dann gesehen habe, was auf den Tellern geblieben ist, hat versucht die Situation mit kostenlosen Desserts beschwichtigen. Es ist ihm trotzdem nicht gelungen. Zum Schluss haben wir 4 Espresso Martini bestellt. Wieder ein Reinfall. Martinis waren einfach schlecht gemacht, ohne Eiweiß und nicht abgeseiht von Eiswürfeln. Entweder sind dort Amateuren am Werk, oder man wird buchstäblich verschaukelt. Wir kommen nicht wieder!

Tolle Beratung, bestes Fleisch, super Service und tolles Ambiente! Ich kann das Anello nur empfehlen! Die 5 Sterne sind absolut verdient!

Took our Son for his birthday here. Oh what a treat. Beautiful atmosphere, friendly and competent staff and a chef who knows his meat temperature and seasonings. We were blown away. Thank you so much for this wonderful dining experience. This steak house is just what Wuppertal needed. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Heerlijk eten en leuke mensen die alles voor de gasten over hebben

The interior is beautiful, the staff pleasant and the food very good, so would definitely recommend. Price/experience ratio is 4 star out of 5. They suggested an older wine to go with the meat, but didn't have a decanter for it. My mother in law ordered potatoes to go with her filet, but didn't get them. I think it would have been helpful if the server would have repeated the order back, since with some dietary restrictions it was a bit chaotic. Other than that, great experience.

Waren zu zweit spontan an einem Freitagabend da. Essen war sehr lecker, Nachtisch (Eis) war auch gelungen. War wirklich ein schönes Erlebnis, da ich so einen Service nicht erwartet habe.

Der Abend mit meiner Freundin, war bester Treffer beim Anello in Wuppertal. Die beste Qualität vom Fleisch, super qualifiziertes Personal, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich komme wieder..Bis bald!L.G. aus Frankfurt am Main

1A vom Aperitif bis zum Dessert inklusive Service. Wir sind jede Woche hier seit der Neueröffnung und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Danke, dass Wuppertal endlich mal vernünftige Steaks zu bieten hat dank euch. Super Team

Beim zweiten Mal leider durchgefallen!! Wir waren zu dritt und der Laden war leer.. Kurze Zusammenfassung: 2x Aperitif kam sofort, der dritte nach 10 Minuten :-( 2 x Gerichte zeitgleich, dass dritte, 10 Minuten später :-( Gläser werden nach Aufforderung zeitnah abgeräumt :-) Rotwein war 5° kälter als die Raumtemperatur & lag bei ca.10° :-( Echt schade, weil das was wir auf dem Teller hatten, 4 - 5 Sterne verdient..

Super liebe Bedienung und weltbester Koch. Gemütliche Atmosphere und mega leckeres Essen. Bestes Fleisch in Wuppertal kann ich nur sagen... zum Abschluss noch ein leckeres Cheesecake mit selbstgemachten Eis und ein Limoncellospritz.... kann ich nur weiterempfehlen....

Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen in Wuppertal 👌 wie bei Anello . Die Atmosphäre ist sehr entspannt der Service ist sehr freundlich und das essen einfach köstlich .Es müssten 6 und mehr Sterne dafür geben . Hier komme ich aufjedenfall nochmal hin.

Essen war top, Service könnte noch etwas besser sein. Da uns allen (waren zu viert) etwas am Nachtisch aufgefallen war (schmeckte nicht wie erwartet) gab es eine Runde Getränke aufs Haus. Kommen sicher wieder für die dry-aged Steaks und dann passe ich die Wertung ggf. auch an.

Modernes Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Ich habe noch nie so ein gutes Rindersteak gegessen und werde sicher wieder dorthin gehen.
